DD Wilson Gas Engineers

Very professional from booking to the work being carried out. Chris was very friendly and competent despite our loft being like a furnace! Highly recommend and thanks again Chris

Recently had gas and electrical work carried out by DD Wilson, including a boiler relocation, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From the initial survey and quotation to completion, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Top lads who took a lot of pride in their work. I would highly recommend. Thank you

They don’t read the job information and requirements you send and instead perform and charge for a service you told them you do not need. Asked for lead pipe and other pipe insulation inspection, instead received unnecessary evaluation of completely unrelated, unmentioned boiler. Lead pipes weren’t mentioned on their report, and after I mentioned ‘hey, you were supposed to look for lead pipes?’ they sent another report adding in a mention of lead pipes to make it look like they did the required job. Would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid them.

Excellent service as always.

Through instalation two years ago and annual service work carried out to the highest of standards.

Very good service. Quick to book, did a great job, reasonable price, v happy, would use them again defo

See the screenshot of the email attached. A refund was offered, but not without making my boiler cover void. Still haven't received an apology. 2024 Christmas I had days of being unable to heat my house with a one year old and 2 seventy year olds. All because of a maintenance check to keep my boiler in warranty! The engineer couldn't work out to reconnect a part he'd isolated. He was a lovely guy. Just meant we were freezing and I had to have a call out by someone who knew what they were doing. Didn't even want the refund, because then I'd have gaps in my boiler cover! Saturday 14th: a Veissman engineer came to fix a leak in the boiler, replaced parts. The heating was working. Monday 16th: my boiler was serviced by DD Wilson. The heating did not work afterwards. Wednesday 18: the engineer returned, stated he had isolated the pipe to clean the filter and forgot to reconnect it. He stated he had reconnectted it at that time. He stated the fault was the boiler pump, and he told me I needed to contact Veissman as it was a boiler issue. Thursday 19: an engineer from Veissman reconnected the isolated section.

Service was average, response time was okay, but communication could be clearer and more consistent throughout the job.

Great service. Recommend :)

Had an F28 fault on my glow worm boiler. Engineer came said it needs a service and flush and mentioned my plate heat exchanger could do with replacing but wasn't essential for repair. 3 days later, I had no quote for repairs so I had to chase that, and then they quoted me for the plate heat exchanger despite saying it wasn't required during the call out. When I asked for an amended quote they sent a bodged quote which didn't actually make sense so I had to get that sorted. A few days and more chasing later, they finally responded and they argued that the plate heat exchanger was essential for repair. I'm a mech engineer so despite not being a boiler expert I'm certainly not daft so I did question it further. In fairness, the owner (Darren) took a second look at the quote and said full strip and service would be fine. The heat exchanger had nothing to do with the issue and would have cost £400 to replace. Anyway as luck would have it, my neighbour noticed a gas leak coming from my meter box so I got the meter replaced (for free) and hey presto boiler is working now! The engineer even told me during the call out that the gas pressure was fine, but evidently it wasn't so I'm not sure what's gone on there. Either way, it's concerning that they failed to correctly identify the issue and had I not done my due diligence I would have spent £400+ and not fixed the issue.

A great service from Chris the engineer. He was pleasant, and very efficient in his work.

I cannot say anything but high praise for this company. Professional, helpful, good guidance very explanatory on reasons, why and choice, both installer and maintenance engineer top quality .... my sons new boiler and maintenance on mine both done same day and when it was booked in for plus happy to fit in with me definately recommend and will use again

Tristan came today to fix my radiator with having learning difficulties I find things hard to understand when people explain things Tristan took his time and explained really well he didn’t rush he took the time out to answer my questions he really does know his job absolutely amazing thank you!!!

Not recommended. Disorganised and charged for a call out on a job that wasn’t installed correctly in the first place. Office admin rude. Have given up on refund. As a company looking for a reliable local plumber would not recommend. **this is a legitimate review but sadly not the response we were hoping**

I called DD Wilson to have my boiler serviced, and we got a same day appointment for no extra charge. Within 3 hours of calling we had everything sorted. The lady on the phone also couldn't have been nicer! Would recommend 10/10.

Really excellent experience — had an emergency boiler issue and the team sorted someone to come out quickly and at a very reasonable call out price. Customer service was also really brilliant, with a quote for further work provided quickly and the team on the phone being really helpful with our questions — highly recommend their service!

Fabulous speedy service highly recommended , spoke to Jane on Saturday regarding broken toilet cistern , she sent someone out straight away to check on it and new cistern was fitted Monday , couldn’t ask for better thanks so much guys xx

I honestly can’t recommend DD Wilson highly enough. I contacted them during a genuine emergency when the boiler at my property caught fire, and they were able to respond immediately and advise me on the best course of action. As I live internationally, dealing with something like this could have been extremely difficult, but the whole team went above and beyond to make it work around me and my schedule. They were incredibly flexible and supportive throughout the entire process. The communication was excellent from start to finish. Jane in the office kept in regular contact and made sure everything was organised quickly and efficiently. Darren, the owner, was also personally involved and very helpful in making sure everything was handled properly. John, the engineer who carried out the work, was fantastic. He was professional, knowledgeable and clearly very experienced. He took the time to explain the issue, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was resolved properly. He was honestly an absolute lifesaver. What could have been a very stressful situation was handled calmly and professionally by the whole team, which really helped put my mind at ease. I wouldn’t hesitate to use DD Wilson again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional company. I’ll definitely be using Darren and John again for any future work when needed. It’s rare to find a company that combines such great technical expertise with genuinely excellent customer service.

I recently used DD Wilson. They came out to look at my faulty boiler and advised me what to do next with no pressure or obligation to buy. I went ahead and purchased a new boiler and a radiator for my kitchen. They booked me in the very next day, on a Saturday which was amazing and the work was carried out by a gas fitter called Steve. He was really good. The issues I was having have been resolved and the advice I received was of top class expertise which was evident and nothing was a problem for Darren who even came out to bring items Steve needed to do the work. Jane on reception was absolutely brilliant from first call out to boiler installation and aftercare. Will definitely use DD Wilson again in the future. Could not be happier. Cheers guys, Garry

Great service, I first had a text to remind me that It was time for my boiler to be serviced, I forgot, then I received a letter to remind me, Great! I rang them straight away and a few days later, Josh came and did his job. He was so polite, kept his workplace tidy. He was very mindful of closing my safety gates behind him too, I was impressed. 10/10

First time we have used D.D Wilson we had new rads fitted and our own rads put back up after decorating they cleaned and checked the boiler got it serviced the x2 lads did an amazing job The rads are working more efficiently than ever now. The lads even hoovered all the mess afterwards They fitted new thermostats on all rads.took the old rads away too!!! The whole experience was first class from arrival to leaving. They advised lagging pipes in my garage where the boiler is!! Great service Great lads Thanks Darren!!!🤩

Can't thank Darren & the team enough. New boiler fitted over the other side of the kitchen within a matter of days from first contacting them. Paul was very knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone I have encountered at DD wilson from Darren, Paul and the office girls have been brilliant. Will definitely use DD Wilson again when I replace all my downstairs radiators in the near future. Reasonable price, not the cheapest but definitely a fair price for the level of customer service we have received. After care has been great too! Can see why you have so many good reviews! Thanks again

Great service throughout from Darren and Paul when I needed a boiler replacing- great firm.

Cannot express how thankful I am that I called this company today. I have had a leak coming from my ceiling for almost a week. I’ve had three different plumbers and even a roofer out in the hope of resolving the problem and no one has been able to sort it. Called DDWilson around midday today and the leak had been repaired by 4:30! Their service is so slick and professional from start to finish and I will most definitely be calling them when I next need a plumber.

Great service, again! I have been using Darren and the DD Wilson team for some time now across several rental properties in Liverpool, and the service has been consistently excellent. Darren and his team are extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and informative, always taking the time to explain the work required and keeping me fully updated throughout. Communication is reliable, which is invaluable when managing multiple properties. The quality of workmanship is immaculate, and jobs are completed quickly and efficiently, with minimal disruption to tenants, something I particularly appreciate as a landlord. They are professional, tidy, and respectful on site, and the work is done right the first time! I would not hesitate to recommend DD Wilson to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable plumbing service. A genuinely reliable local business that I’m happy to continue using.

This is an amazing company Darren is exceptional as is all his staff ,they all show such caring They are always on time ,and friendly they do exceptional work ,they are a firm that you can depend on and feel safe with any work the carry out I would recommend them to anyone who wants work carrying out in their home The deserve more than 5 stars

Big thanks to Steve from DD Wilson, had to replace our cooker which proved to be more hassle than I thought. Especially a couple of weeks before Christmas. Steve came out and got the job done. Had a good laugh, top quality service. Very chuffed with the work and now my new cooker fits perfectly. Thank you once again.

I wanted to express my gratitude for the excellent service provided by the team from DD Wilson during the installation of our new boiler. They were very professional, clean, tidy, and respectful throughout the process. I would highly recommend them to our friends and family. Thanks to everyone in the office and the engineers!

Would give 10 stars if i could, brilliant business & service love our new boiler. Thank you team

I called DD Wilson to come out and take a look at my shower cubicle which was leaking. I’d had a couple of other plumbers in to take a look but they couldn’t locate the source of the leak. I’d not used DD Wilson before or even heard of them, just found them via a Google search and was therefore understandably nervous about whether they would do a good job. But I read their promising reviews and decided to proceed. Tristan from DD Wilson came out to look at the shower, he was really knowledgeable and genuinely interested in identifying the issue and in solving it. Tristan explained everything thoroughly and talked me through the two options he thought were best to proceed with meaning I was able to make an informed decision. I’m really pleased to say that my shower leak is fixed, and Tristan did an absolutely cracking job. He consulted me at every stage to make sure I was happy with the work. Tristan said he was a perfectionist and that’s what you want to hear from a trade, isn’t it! Someone who is both knowledgeable and takes pride in their work. I’d highly recommend DD WIlson and Tristan and have already passed on their details to someone else who is struggling with a leaky shower! Everything went smoothly, from dealing with the team at the office to the clean up - five stars from me!

Paul did an amazing job on our full central heating fit! And when I had any questions before it the office staff were very friendly and gave me an answer as soon as they could.

Thank you Ste for coming out to replace my Thermostat. You came out so quick and done a excellent job very friendly fella would recommend you any day thanks again

Came out on Wednesday to check problem decided we needed a new boiler they came on the Friday and fitted it everything was first class would definitely recommend them Paul the engineer was great and cleaned everywhere up even did some hoovering

Had 4 radiators supplied and fitted so professional from start to finish girls in the office so nice on the phone would definitely recommend Darren and his team 🙌👍 And even got rid of the old radiators bonus 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fantastic bunch of people and they make sure to sort you out and look after you. They've got me as a customer for life.

Triston was brilliant. Installed new radiators, cleaned the system, installed a new tap and serviced our boiler. We’d had a horrific boiler installation last year with another “reputable local firm”, resulting in it being damaged. Triston gave honest advice about next steps and things to look out for. Restored our faith in heating engineers - I know who we’ll be using going forwards! Thank you.

Excellent service would recommend to anyone.

We have used DDWilson to fit a new boiler. We would like to thank Darren and his team for the excellent work they have done with our boiler - everything in our house was left very clean and tidy, Paul the engineer is very professional, and it’s just amazing how quick and efficient their service was - got the next day appontment and by afternoon the boiler was already up and running. Impressive work 👍 will definitely recommend this company and will be using their services again

Brilliant from start to finish We had a new boiler fitted for my father-in-law, who has very high standards and can usually find a fault in just about anything, but fortunately for me, not this time. From the first message to the final handover, everything was spot on. Quick replies, clear communication, turned up when they said they would, worked tidily, everything a lot of similar companies don’t do. It’s rare to find a company that still takes pride in doing things properly. D. Wilson Plumbing & Heating absolutely does. Highly recommend.

DD Wilson , what a great team , I was not looking forward to changes to a combo from tanks but they made it so easy , Paul the engineer on the day was a pleasure to have in our home and quality of work was exemplary, backed up with a really friendly helpful team , I will recommend them to everyone

Tristan is incredibly knowledgeable and excellent at his job and the ladies in customer service on the phones are so friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend this company more. Thanks. Adam

Fantastico.

Cant recommend DD Wilson enough. From start to finish the service was excellent. The manager contacted us straight away, came around within 48 hours and 24 hours after that we had a new boiler and thermostat fitted. The lads that fit the boiler were great and everything was left tidy.

Excellent service from DD Wilson and very competitive price for the diagnosis of my boiler and and repair.

came out on same day absolutley brilliant job

Great service love it

D.D. Wilson Plumbing have been outstanding from start to finish. They arrived on time, kept us updated throughout, and worked late into the evening to make sure the job was completed. The quality of their work is excellent, the price was spot on, and they left the house immaculate. The lads were friendly, professional and went above and beyond. Couldn’t fault them and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for reliable plumbers.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely brilliant service from D.D. Wilson Plumbing. They turned up exactly when they said they would, stayed until 8pm to get the job finished, and the communication throughout was spot on. The lads were fantastic – friendly, professional, and extremely clean – the house didn’t need any tidying at all afterwards. The price was fair and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

Requested a boiler service and gas safety check. Work was organised quickly and completed quickly. Will use again.

Came out in a couple hours fast service fixed the problem

I’d gotten in touch with DD Wilson after my boiler completely broke down and being let down by a few other local recommendations. I live in an apartment on the top floor so it was no easy task installing a new boiler but Darren came out to assess the job and put me at ease with any of my concerns. It was a big job on the day, involving roofer, cherry picker but nothing was too much trouble and the engineer on the day, Paul, worked from day until night to get the job done. I’m very happy with the service received from start to finish and I would happily recommend DD Wilson.

I use DD Wilson to service my combi boiler. They are an excellent company, their prices are very competitive, they turn up on the promised day. The engineer phones about 30 mins before they arrive. They also fitted 2 tall radiators which wasn't easy due to the construction of the wall, but they completed this confidently. I would recommend them for all gas and plumbing work.

Very well organised, very responsive, excellent engineer and overall service.

Phoned up today got a quote to connect a gas cooker. Was out and job completed in 2 hours fair price good service would definitely recommend. Thanks 👍

Great service friendly staff

Brilliantly efficient, both installing the system I needed and the system itself, funny workers and friendly staff over the phone, well done peeps

Wouldn’t go anywhere else always spot on. Boss family business, efficient, affordable and most importantly reliable. 👌

The best about! Honest, hard working and genuine. This is what a local family run business should be like.

Excellent company who delivered not only professionalism from the initial enquiry up until the job completion they also followed up with aftercare to ensure i was happy with everything which shows a high level of customer service skills Would highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Had DDWILSON out to fit a new boiler for my vulnerable father the lads arrived on time after a phone call to let us know they where on their way job was done to a very high and professional standard with them sheeting my dad's house out to protect the floors they even refitted a radiator that had previously fell off the wall for no extra charge they just did it without anyone asking Overall DDWILSON as a company are amazing from the quotations to the actual job couldn't of asked for anyone better thanks Darren clair and team

Excellent team of Gas Engineers. These guys were fantastic. Our old boiler failed late one night, We rang DDWILSON. They turned up first thing in the morning and fitted a top of the range boiler, Full Hive kit set up and running. 10 year guarantee, And a happy wife, Happy life. Thank you very much Darren from DDWILSON. 5* Would 100% recommend you guys to anyone.

Darren came out and recommended the right boiler and flue installation for my property. I was more than happy with his friendly expert installers. I was shown how to operate and work timer. They left my property clean and tidy. Highly recommend.

Darren and the team are most reliable, fair and honest team I have worked with! Always do what they say and when they say it. I wouldn’t use anyone else, from a boiler replacement to a burst pipe! Definitely recommended 5*

Had an emergency with one of our gas fryers and after calling DD Wilson, the issue was diagnosed and a replacement fitted within 24 hours. Thanks so much guys, saved our bacon there...

Serviced my LPG caravan boiler. Absolutely amazing service. Nothing was too much effort. Ste, was the engineer, he was so knowledgeable and even helped me with other issues in my caravan. No ask was too much. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Will be using again.

I highly recommend DD Wilson! Darren and his team are absolutely amazing. Our old boiler and radiators badly needed replacing, and after reading their excellent reviews, I decided to contact them—a very wise decision! Lewis came out for the initial survey, and we discussed the full scope of work: replacing the boiler and radiators and adding a new radiator to a room that previously had none. Claire and Lily in the office were extremely helpful, providing detailed quotes with different boiler options. Once we selected our preferred option, they booked us in immediately—we confirmed on a Thursday afternoon, and installation started on Monday morning! Paul, the engineer in charge, was fantastic—punctual, professional, and an absolute expert in his field. He worked efficiently, with great attention to detail, and left everything spotless. Darren also stopped by to finalise paperwork and chat with us about our new system, which was a really nice touch. The whole process was smooth, fast, and completely stress-free. We couldn’t be happier with the service, the installation, and most importantly, the amazing people at DD Wilson. Highly recommended!

Avoid avoid avoid Found them via google search read all the great reviews. So decided to get them out as I had issues with my electric water tank. Very prompt on answering the phone, Told about the call out charge, sent link which I paid. Engineer came out the same day at the right time…. Every was great then… the following day get a call and email about the problems and the cost. I got a quote in the region of 3k. ‘The water tank needs replacing it is a fire hazard and had a list of things which needed to be done. I would have paid it as I assumed this is a trust worthy company giving how many great reviews they have…. I was asked to get another quote and inspection off someone else. So I did got another engineer from a diffrent company to come out. Same procedure paid the call out charge. The engineer came as agreed and quoted wait for it….. just shy of 400£ to fix and replace the problematic parts. So if I didn’t get another price this company who come out to tell the problem and give me a solution would have happily robbed me of my hard earned money by replacing a water tank which didn’t need replacing. (The water tank is only 4 years old) wouldn’t recommend unless you want to be robbed and misled.

Moved into a new house , needed a new boiler and it was moving from the kitchen to the back bedroom. This was done in a great, efficient manner with fantastic customer service. Would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely outstanding, called up and they were out within the hour. Steven Boardman our engineer is a credit to the organisation, extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. Would recommend without hesitation.

Had dd Wilson come out to my partners dads and the guy that came out from the company was amazing he stayed and took the boiler apart and diagnosed the fault and repaired it there and then very clean and professional team would highly recommend for anyone wanting there gas appliances looked after thank you so much elderly couple are now warm and have hot water again.

Fast, efficient and professional the lads are very friendly and approachable. Spoke to Jane in the office, who was very helpful and unsured somebody came out within the hour. This is the firm you want to be dealing with in times of need. Yeh know the 1 😎👌

Excellent service from start to finish. New Radiators. Highly recommended.

Boiler went off over the weekend had no heating or hot water, Monday phone call at lunchtime to DD Wilson gas and heating engineers Ltd, they said we'll get someone out to look at your boiler by 6.30pm arrived within a couple hours the youngman that came was absolutely brilliant so polite and friendly he managed to fix the problem. ..thank you so much Lewis you are a superstar I would highly recommend this company 10 out 10

Can’t praise this family run company highly enough . My boiler was over 35 years old and on its last legs . I now have a new efficient heating system . Customer service was brilliant and they responded very quickly with any issues I had . Very professional, work was completed to a high standard . No complaints . Thank you to all the hardworking team .I’ll see you next year for a service .

Highly recommended, experts at what they do and very reliable.

Great service. Professional, friendly and respectful. Couldn't do enough for you and did fabulous job.

Thank you DD Wilson ladies for booking us in on 08.10.24 and Lewis for completing our annual boiler service. Had boiler fitted from this company, works and boiler servicing, highly recommended.

Amazing firm, honestly, if you want assurance and peace of mind, these are your guys.. would highly recommend. Ours was an elderly parent without heat or hot water and Darren put my mind at ease right away. I called them in the afternoon and boiler fitted next day. thank you guys! First class company and job.. how refreshing!

I recommend DD Wilson Gas And Heating Engineers Ltd very highly to everyone. They are a wonderful company who came to our rescue. We needed a new boiler as ours (which was well over 10 years) finally packed in- we had no heat or hot water. Darren & Claire were absolutely amazing. They were very quick to answer, they came out the next morning and booked us in the next day. They were very thorough and detailed with everything that got discussed/explained with several options to choose from- all which was then sent via email. Their prices are brilliant and unbelievably reasonable. Paul the engineer was absolutely lovely, he was on time, very clean & tidy, very knowledgeable, took pride in his work and done a fantastic job. I wouldn’t go to anyone else now. I can’t thank them enough and I recommend them so highly to everyone

Got a combi boiler fitted on 25th and 26th September 2024, also a hive to control the heating from my phone, The day after boiler fitted, the electrician came to fit the hive. Next day, the back radiator in bedroom started leaking, the engineer managed to fix it on his second visit, the first visit he said, the new radiator system has air in it, that's why pressure keeps dropping, so he bled the radiators. Next day water dripping through cieling in kitchen, I took bath panel off, couldn't find leak, until heating was put back on. Eventually the engineer fixed the problem, but 2 weeks later, the hive is still not working

My old boiler broke, DD Wilson came out and gave me a very good quote, they also fitted it for me within a few days, I couldn't be happier. The boiler is brilliant, the service was first class, from the lad who came to do the quote and the engineer who fitted it. Very clean and professional. DD Wilson were recommended to me by a previous customer, and I can see why. I am very happy to recommend them to anyone, you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much.

Had our boiler replaced and additional radiator earlier this year. Excellent service from start to finish couldnt recommend highly enough Great work

DD Wilson installed a new boiler for me Friday. From the initial phone call to completion I received first class service. Bradley did a wonderful job removing the old boiler and tank, installing the new one, pipe work etc. It was a long day for him but service was delivered in a friendly happy professional manner. He made sure I understand completely how to use the boiler before leaving and left my home spotless. I cannot recommend DD Wilson highly enough! Very happy customer 😁

Brilliant work and good communication by the owner and the team. Proper explanation of the issues and resolving them. We were given the best solution with unvented cylinder installation done in a day’s job .

After being messed around by other gas fitters giving me really expensive quotes, saying my boiler needs replacing or just simply not turning up to quote, I contacted DD Wilson and got a sensible quote for a repair and it was sorted in a week. I could have had it repaired sooner but I have a crazy work schedule. No fuss, no drama. More importantly no rip off! Thanks guys. Very happy customer.

Just had a boiler check and other checks from this firm for the first time , excellent service and very helpful engineer, thanks Jordan great job done

Booked To sirvice my boiler took the day off I phoned in the morning as request and was told the engineer would be with me at 1.30 pm I gave hombtill 2.30 only to be told he was stuck on the motorway I had to take hom at his word. They rearranged for the following week due to ne having to work fir after 5pm but again he never came. Do your self a favour and give the company a miss unreliable.

Very efficient service by a very courteous gas engineer taking the time to explain exactly what all he did.

Issue was horrific pipe vibrations every time a tap was turned on or the loo flushed. The engineer, Tommy was fantastic. He diagnosed the issue immediately and came back to sort it out very quickly. He fitted a new tap and radiator valves and a regulator to the system… all very professionally done and with the utmost care. Very efficient support from the office also. Excellent. Thank you.

had a combi boiler&radiators fitted replacing 20 yr old tank fed system..work was done by paul&keith done a brilliant job very proffesional highly recomend this company

Punctual. Very efficient. Pleasant. Professional. So glad after taking my daughters advice to use DDWilson.

Would highly recommend Darren and his team, from Darren coming to explain our options for boiler replacement and the fitting of new boiler we were kept informed by them, and they ensured we knew how to use the new system. They left our home clean and tidy. All completed within two days.

We found DD Wilson on a Google search, after having a problem with our gas boiler. We have had the boiler replaced today and can say this was done in a very professional way. The installation was done quickly and efficiently by Paul who was very knowledgeable. This is a family run company and you can always tell, because of the care they give you.

Called and engineer sent within the hour. Tommy couldn’t have been more helpful and efficient fixing the problem and was very polite. Great company.

Lovely to get a reminder each year , when aftercare is due. And the day that suits you. The young man who called was promp and polite . Very efficient service , all left clean and tidy .would recommend this company to anyone .

Honestly, I cannot recommend these guys enough. They helped me out and fitted a new boiler and as a tradesman I can say now, you will find no finer gas and heating engineers.

Had a visit from this company and was quoted £600 pounds for parts and estimated flush at £300. Even a possible replacement boiler. Got second opinion and fixed with only call out charge. Not sure if this was done with malicious intent or even problem may return. But has to be 3 stars. If intent was to rip off 1 star would have been give. I am unlikely to ring again

Always choose dd Wilson for all of our plumbing jobs knowing we will get a first class, professional job done. They were recommended to us and we would do the same 100%.

Great company. Friendly, reliable and know their stuff. Had my new boiler fitted 2 years ago. Had NO issues and just had my 2nd free service though recommending them to family and friends. Can't fault at all. Highly recommended

If we could give DD Wilson Gas Engineers Ltd 10 stars then we would. But we'll have to settle for 5 stars instead. We were introduced to the company on Monday 22 June and by close of play Thursday, we had a superb new comi-boiler fitted. The customer service we received throughout was first class, it genuinely was. But great customer service counts for nothing if the quality of the workmanship isn't up to scratch. Well, we didn't need to worry about this aspect. The two fitters were real craftsmen; their pipework etc. is extremely neat and tidy, they were professional and genuinely nice blokes. But we haven't mentioned the competitive price as well!! All in all, we would recommend DD Wilson Gas Engineers Ltd to anyone. They made the whole experience really enjoyable.

DD WILSON Absolutely amazing Danny.. Good honest team Fitted a boiler for us, working perfectly. Thanks Steve for doing it. Well recommended. Will use in the future if I need to. Thanks guys x

We had a problem with our boiler that kept loosing pressure. Initially we had catalyst come out after contacting the home insurance, they stated that a part needed replacing which would cost over £500. Due to their poor service I decided to go with DD Wilson gas engineers. He engineer came round and gave the boiler a proper examination, because of this he managed to find the issue and just drain the system and recharge the boiler. This fixed the problem and cost me £99 for the call out. He was extremely friendly, helpful and did a great job. I will be using this company in the future for any gas or heating work.

Brilliant service, honest and reliable Thank you guys

These guys are fantastic! Totally professional from the initial phone call to completion of the job.

Darren and his team recently installed new boiler and shower for us. Very knowledgeable and informative and all of the guys involved were a pleasure to have in the house. Despite being let down by a supplier, they kept us updated and remained committed to resolving the issue this caused and offered us extra annual services for free. Good people and would happily recommend to friends or family.

Recently replaced my boiler the engineer was very clean prep the house before carrying out the replacement he was very professional and did a great job i will defo be using these guys again as it gave me complete peace of mind and the tenant was very happy with no mess and a 10 year guarantee on her vialiant pro boiler Mark Landlord

Would highly recommend this company from Darren who came to give us the quote to Anthony, Brian and Tommy who fitted the boiler, put in new pipework and a radiator. The workmen were very polite punctual and worked extremely hard

Darren was fantastic. Had an issue with thermostat thought it needed replacing but he saved me £190.00!! Tweaked my old one and got it back up and running. Very trustworthy and honest! Would definitely recommend 😊

Had a new boiler fiited today by Keith who did an amazing job. We had a glass splasback and we were worried it would have to be removed to get to the pipes costing more money. Keith fitted the boiler in the cupboard without having to move the splashbacks and no damage was done. Would definitely recommed. Also have had radiators fitted by DD Wilson and a service done. Excellent company and friendly manager and staff.

Two absolutely delightful and lovely gentlemen came out to service my boiler and they did an amazing and efficient job Not only that I was originally quoted £99 and to my amazement and appreciation they only charged me £80 All I can say is that I will without question I would use them again as I would be a fool to go anywhere else

Just moved into an old property don’t think a new boiler has ever been fitted D D Wilson came out quoted I accepted the boiler was fitted, also 2 radiators on fitting the lads told me the pipes needed to be upgraded as well as they were old they came back next day and did the job no hassle and a great price thanks Darren and the team very pleased

Absolutely first class service from this company, our boiler broke and was an uneconomical repair so we needed a replacement, sent photos to Jo in the office of DD Wilson and within half an hour had 4 detailed quotations which were precise in detail so we new exactly what we were getting. We made our choice and booked the installation there and then for Monday (2 days later). I hadn't used this company before so when i was asked for money upfront to cover purchasing of the boiler etc i was i have to say a little concerned, i needn't have been as at 08.10 on Monday morning Anthony from DD Wilson turned up to fit the new boiler, he worked hard all day and completed the installation with care and left the Kitchen clean and tidy and all the rubbish aswell as the old boiler was collected and taken away This is a first class company who have integrity, fair and competitive pricing, professionalism and are customer focused. Great Job all round. I would highly recommend DD WILSON.

Had a boiler fitted today in St Helens , customer service from start to finish has been out of this world, from the ladies in the office the man that came out on Saturday to check on the old boiler and the two guys that fitted the new boiler today can’t recommend enough friendly and reliable thank you so much.

Just moved into a property in St Helens that had an old heating system. Contacted DD Wilson on Monday evening, someone came out on Tuesday and the system was upgraded to a Vaillant combi system on Thursday and Friday. Exceptional service. Paul was fantastic. What lovely people. Would highly recommend. So nice to find a company I can trust. Thank you guys

I recently had my new boiler fitted by DD WILSON GAS AND HEATING ENGINEERS LTD. It's a great family run business. Very happy with the service we have received from the first contact with Darren the owner, through Jo in the office,to both of the gas safety engineers. All our questions have been answered straight away and in full details. The installation of the boiler took only 3 hours and the engineer has left the place spotless. Within a week received all the documentation as promised. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend this company to anyone.

I would highly recommend DD Wilson … phoned them yesterday as had a leak on my central heating system. Got a cancellation today and this morning Dave the engineer turned up … replaced a valve .. no fuss .. no mess a lovely guy . I will always use them …

Fantastic service - couldn’t ask for more.

I’m so glad I went with DD Wilson for my new boiler install. From day one from the initial quote to the completed job, these showed professionalism by keeping with up to date. On the day on the install, Paul, the gas engineer, phoned me in the morning with a time of arrival. Throughout the day, the work area was kept clean. A credit to the trade. Would certainly recommend DD Wilson for any plumbing and heating jobs and look forward to seeing them next year for my annual service.

Came out to us to check our old boiler at 7pm due to constant loss of pressure was deemed dangerous (installed by previous house owner looks like on the dodge) and had to be condemned, due a new one anyway and was installed by 2pm the next day, good correspondence from the owner Darren who was helpful through the whole process. Would highly recommend this company very professional. 👍🏼

Great service would highly recommend

From my first enquiry, to my quote and then the work being carried out, the service provided was excellent. All queries were dealt with quickly and the work was done to an excellent standard. I had all radiators replaced and the guys worked hard and were very tidy and professional. I would definitely use this company again and recommend to family and friends.

Had problems with our old boiler. Called DD Wilson based on their excellent Google reviews. They were here within 2 hours. Did what they could to fix it on the spot but it wasn't repairable so went for a new one. Gas engineers were great guys. So professional, friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Now have 10 year parts and labour guarantee and a great new system so peace of mind for years to come. Very competitive price wise too. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys!

Thank you DD Wilson for making supplying and fitting are new boiler such a smooth process. . We only rang them 7 days ago and we had old boiler took out and new one installed. The old boiler we had, the flue was going through our garage roof which kept on coming off the top off the boiler top when any roof work took place. We wanted the new boiler lowered and the flue going outside of our house. Darren came round and explained how they would sort it out so the boiler flue could go outside garage wall and arrange for a roofer to fix and tile over hole when the flue was removed and patch up the hole left in my garage ceiling. Seven days after that Anthony the engineer came to fit new boiler. He contacted us to let us know he was on his way . He arrived at 7.30 in the morning and never stopped working all day. I don't even know if he had a break. He was polite and explained everything we would need know about are new boiler. It was a pleasure to meet such a hard working young man. The roofer came half way through the day and did everything Darren promised. I would certainly recommend DD Wilson if you want a new boiler they did a great job for me

Honestly I can't recommend this company enough.not only in the past Darren the owner of business has come out done service fixed my mums boiler spending time explaining reassuring her so I didn't need to look around when mum needed new boiler. When Darren told ne he was sending Anthony who my mum didn't know and we all know pensioners they are very weary of anyone coming in their home they don't know.Darren came out beforehand reassured her he was sending someone who will do fantastic job installing boiler and explain everything..today True to his word spot on 8 Anthony turned up .before arriving he rang to say was it OK to go in my mums without me arriving .by 230 the new boiler was installed .my mum is now singing Anthony's praises how hard he worked no mess explained everything..I don't do reviews as a rule unless it's something I think will help others..this is to say please before you go looking around for the best this company is by far the best .no wander they are winning awards .Thankyou DD.Wilson you have made the boiler installation a non stress job for not only my mum but our family ...

The whole team were a pleasure to deal with, Darren came round on Monday to diagnose the issue and we had a new boiler fitted Wednesday afternoon, brilliant service throughout, will absolutely call on these fellas again and would highly reccomend

Really reliable good service. Definitely recommend

Thank you ,DD Wilson for a good and quick professional approach. I recommend this company to anyone who need a professional Gas Safety service.

Excellent service, thank you for getting the job done so quickly. Will be using you in the future.

Had a strange issue with the gas readings so needed to establish whether it was a boiler issue or a meter issue. I called after Googling for local gas engineers and DDWilson came up top for reviews. Tristan came round this morning and he was very friendly and helpful. He called ahead to let me know when he would arrive and he was bang on time. He was polite, explained what he was doing, and why. Turns out our boiler is working perfectly (despite not having a service in an embarrassingly long time…!) and so I’m off to the supplier to carry on the investigation. Tristan helped me understand the situation much clearer, and was reassuring with the tests he carried out to ensure that the gas was safe. I was so delighted with the quality and service I received from Tristan that I wouldn’t go anywhere else if I had a gas issue now. DD Wilson will be my ‘go-to’ and I would recommend to anyone!

Excellent work! Nice people

Best service and good people. Great work

Excellent service from start to finish. The guys did a fantastic job installing our new boiler and I would highly recommend them. Thank you.

Highly recommended. Very polite and professional from start to finish. The fitter was punctual, clean, tidy and did a great job. Many thanks

Darren is very experienced and knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem with our combi boiler and repaired in 2 minutes only, than he done a gas safety certificate it very quickly and efficiently , btw he only charged me for gas safety certificate ,he never changed me for fixing boilers, highly recommend.

Excellent service from start to finish, the guy's doing the work were spot on, really happy with our new boiler. Many thanks.

Good job guys.

I got in touch with DD Wilson due to their great reviews and they did not disappoint. From their back office to Triston who came out and replaced a flow sensor in my boiler for me, everything is made so seamless and explained clearly so you know what to expect. I have since had Triston come out to fix another problem with the kitchen sink leaking and this was also fixed first time. Look no further if you are considering using DD Wilson, you won’t be disappointed!

Rang DD Wilson for a quote due to their great feedback on web.. Darren, Sean, Keith and rest of team did not disappoint.. received a very reasonable quote on the Thursday and combi boiler fitted on Friday, great service and would definitely recommend. Many thanks Jackie and Mick

First class service excellent all round with swift response you will not be disappointed been let down by some local engineers can't fault D D Engineers try you will not be disappointed

Great service and no job is too awkward! I went to Darren with a request to have all the downstairs pipes replaced and the radiators changed without having to lift the flooring. He didn't bat an eye, and the lads did an exceptional job. They only lifted a small area to gain access underneath, and upon completion, they left everything clean and spotless. All in all, I wouldn't even consider dealing with any other plumbing company.

DD Wilson installed a new boiler for us. They were easy to talk to via email & phone. I had many questions & any issues we had were resolved in a timely manner. From Jo in the office, to the two lads who came out and did the job in one day. Everyone was very professional.

Replaced out boiler. Very quick + efficient service, guys were very helpful.

DD WILSON came out to us on short notice. They were very accommodating after we had just had a new bathroom fitted. They kept the area very clean and they removed our old boiler with no fuss. They flushed our radiators and installed our new top quality Vailant boiler. The engineer then took the time to go through all of the new settings and explained everything we needed to know. I would definitely recommend DD WILSON.

Top job. Great price. Arrived on time, got the job done. Cleared everything away. Would defo recommend

I have just had a new combi boiler fitted today and my experience with DD Wilson was as described NO MEES NO FUSS i would highly recommend DD WILSON. Cheers lads.

Excellent service thankyou

SUPERB EXPERIENCE Darren and his team were amazing from quote to completion of the job. They communicated throughout the process very respectfully, honestly, and in a friendly manner. Tristan and his apprentice were a great team who worked constantly throughout the day with very little breaks. They prepared and protected the house and cleaned up afterwards. Instructions on how to use were fully explained and left with warranty etc. I would definitely recommend DD Wilson gas and Heating Engineering 100%. Thank you Darren and team, we really appreciate your speedy communication and superb service, FABULOUS!

Such a fast and efficient service. Engineer was so polite and courteous. I can highly recommend this company.

Had our new boiler supplied and installed. Very happy with the team and the work carried out. Would recommend!

Had boiler issues and engineer came out to assess the problem which had already been looked at by several other professionals but nothing was positively identified previously.Within 15 mins he explained the issue and condemned the boiler.Within the hour i had spoken to someone who ordered me a new boiler and promised me installation for the Monday morning. The engineer arrived at 9 and fitted the new boiler, clearing up after himself and talking my daughter through the manual showing her what she needed to understand the controls

Thank you all for the best service, I can't thank you enough.

Found you guys on google, sent a request in the morning and received a callback almost immediately, very professional over the phone. Everything was set up quick and simple and we had our new boiler installed within 4 days of the phone call. The engineer was very professional and was done and dusted within a few hours, even put in an extra radiator valve free of charge. I cannot recommend DD WILSON enough. Great work!

Excellent service. First class engeinners, tidy and professional. Highly recommended

what an amazing company incredibly customer service outstanding engineers can,t praise then enought highly recommended 👌

Amazing company and has lovely customer service. From quote to installation only took 3 days with very reasonable prices.. Handled all queries with care and consideration.

From start to finish the whole experience was excellent. Darren is very amiable whilst maintaining his professionalism. His team were a credit to him. I had a new combi boiler-valiant pure, new radiators as well as thermostats on older radiators. All this and moving a gas pipe. The biggest joy was that agreed it yesterday afternoon and it’s all done today to a very high standard with no mess whatsoever in fact carpets have been laid better than the original fitters. Darren put his whole team on it as I needed the work completed to a tight deadline. I’m so impressed and would not hesitate recommending this firm. The communication is second to none with videos before and after. Don’t hesitate just do it!

DD wilson from the get go had fantastic customer support. Being a family run business the communincation I got was super. My hands have been burned many times with tradesman and my confidence was dampened to say the least. Darren and his team, I can safely say has helped to restore that. Landlords, if you ever need a realiable, friendly and trusted tradesman, DD Wilson are your people. Throughout the whole process of obtaining a report of what was needed to be done and quotes for works, the office and Darren himself kept me informed all the way through the process. DD Wilson though they are gas engineers have contacts with other trades people and as a result were able to recommend equally reliable and respectable trades for other jobs that were needed in my property. I wouldnt hesitate to use DD Wilson again. As we all know its difficult to find trusted tradespeople who have your interestes at heart. DD Wilson are your people.

Excellent service fitted my boiler within a day of confirming. Engineers were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend them for service and price

Excellent service from Tristan and the team. Mum's boiler stopped working, and being 80 and living alone I needed a company that I could trust. I could not fault any aspect of DD Wilson's support; the lady I spoke to during my initial phone enquiry was helpful and considerate, the engineer was on site the next morning, repairs carried out considerately and with a friendly manner by Tristan, and follow-ups have been great. I would highly recommend, and we will use them again as already planning to book in a boiler service next year.

The staffs of DD Wilson was very helpful

We had just bought a new house when we realised that the boiler was bust and we had no heating or hot water. We called DD Wilson and an engineer came round on the same day (Friday). We decided to get a new boiler and on the Monday, two highly skilled engineers came round to fit the boiler. They were efficient and timely and we were so pleased with their service. This is a family run business with what felt like an extended family with their team. The family are lovely, they even gave us some nice bottles of cava! Would highly recommend. Thanks to all for being reliable, efficient and trustworthy

DD Wilson fitted a full new heating system with a combi boiler recently. Got the job done in 2 days which was very quick considering the amount of work that needed doing! Fantastic service. Very professional & polite workmen, could not fault them. (Thank you for the doing the work to a fantastic standard!) Also had them replace a combi boiler at another house with a hive system - great price, very professional and polite gas engineer. House was kept very clean throughout the work and job was neat & tidy. 10/10 - Highly recommend!

Valiant Boiler fitted by the team in the last few days. Honestly cannot fault the team, from start to finish. Friendly, thorough and efficient. The boiler was fitted within a matter of hours and heating/hot water restored. 😁 I will be and already have recommended the team. Thanks!

Needed a new boiler installing as my 30 old boiler was nearing the end of its life. Right from the start Darren and Co were very approachable and professional, they checked meticulously all round the house to find best option to install new boiler (gas main comes into basement of the house and I wanted the new boiler in the small bathroom at the back of the house on the ground floor - essentially pipes were needed to go right through the house, pretty big job!) nonetheless Monday morning they got to work, and by Tuesday evening I had a wonderful new top of the range boiler fitted with hive controller. Dirt was kept to a minimum considering the old boiler and water tank was removed (protective plastic was put on the carpet too). All rubbish including old boiler was removed. Overall price was very good value for money, will absolutely recommend DD Wilson they did a fantastic job i am very pleased, thank you so much

Great service. Office really helpful. All professionally done and fantastic work thank you the new boiler and rads have made a massive difference

Stumbled across this on Google and they had great reviews. They were easy to contact and answered my query quickly. The job was done and dusted in a couple of days after initial contact. Will use again.

DD Wilson were excellent when our boiler died November 2022 just as the temperature was dropping. They prioritised installing a new boiler and were quick and efficient, especially when the job wasn’t as straight-forward as they first thought. We were only without hot water and heating for a week last, thanks to their speedy work. This winter has been comfortable and warm thanks to the efficient new boiler they recommended. The owner Darren came to see us when it was getting installed, which meant a lot too. They also sent us a Christmas card, and made sure we had all the warranty documents we needed. I would thoroughly recommend DD Wilson for all of your heating and boiler needs, and we will be asking them to look after our boiler with a service each year going forward. Thank you!

We were moving into our new home and wanted to replace the old boiler with a new modern one. Did my research on the Internet and came across quite a few installers with deals and quotes but nobody could beat DD Wilson. Trust me, it's a fact!! Darren came round surveyed the job, confirmed the price and it was fitted the very next day! Gas safe certificate, invoices, guarantees all delivered promptly. A truly professional service!! Great service. Great price and a great trustworthy workforce. I can genuinely recommend DD Wilson to anyone looking to have a new boiler fitted by a totally competent and trustworthy company. I did and I'm one happy customer!

Polite and professional service. Excellent job done with new boiler installation. House has never been so warm. Darren came out and gave an in depth quote with a quick turnaround getting the job done. Ste and Josh did an excellent job installing the boiler on the day and even stayed late to fit a new radiator in our sons room. House was left clean and tidy.

Good choice of company and boiler. The price was competitive, all work was completed in one day with minimal disruption, good team, nice to deal with and the Vaillant boiler is great. House nice and Toastie and SAFE. Glad we chose DD Wilson. Thanks.

Reliable, effective and efficient! Highly recommended!

I have had a new boiler plus the gas for my cooker moved as well as 2 radiators fitted and I can’t speak highly enough about DD Wilson. Everything from the first visit to the final install has been 1st class and I would highly recommend using them.

I phoned up DD Wilson with a boiler issue we've been having recently and was worried that it could be causing more damage. The receptionist was able to book an engineer straight away and the problem was resolved within 24 hours. Tristan who arrived at our house was very polite and knowledgeable about our central heating system. He was able to quickly diagnose and rectify the issue and give advice on how important regular services are. We will definitely be using this company in the future for any central heating issues we have and highly reccomend them. Thank you for helping us solve our boiler problem and we look forward to doing business with you again!

Superb service from the DD Wilson team, cannot recommend them highly enough.

Highly recommend!! 😄👍 Thank you DD Wilson, Amazing team, walk you through the job and explain every detail. They just get on and do the job required with no issues. Thanks for a great job done! Kat 😄

Just had a new boiler conversion to a combi. Great prompt service from DD Wilson..great job great crew..would recommend

Keith and Shaun fitted a new boiler for us. They were superb. The job was spot on and the place was spotless when they finished. Definitely going to use them for future services. Highly recommended

Top draw service and work. Nothing was too much trouble for DD Wilson’s Team they fitted a new boiler at a good price (much cheaper than a big national company) and to an excellent standard with all work certified and accredited. The lads took all the rubbish from the job and were a pleasure to have in our home. Thanks to DD Wilson Team

Highly recommend!!! Recently had a new boiler fitted and radiators replaced by DD Wilson, the team turned up exactly when they said they would and completed the installation of a new boiler and radiators to an extremely high standard. They even removed my very old Baxi back boiler too! Very friendly and professional and tidy service throughout, from Darren coming out to give me a quote, to the lovely staff in the office who dealt with any queries I had, to the guys that came out to install the boiler and radiators and the jobs completion, I would highly recommend DD Wilson to all.

Fantastic company! Quoted us a great price for a Valliant boiler and maintenance then came to fit it the next day no bother. Gave us accurate advice and worked efficiently... I've never felt radiators so hot! The owner Darren was very flexible with payment as we needed a few days to get this ready and was just an all round generous family man! Would definitely recommend 👌

I was recommended DD Wilson by my sister. They did a fantastic job on installing a new boiler and moving it for her. As I'd just bought a new house I called out Darren to come and give me a quote on moving our boiler to the garage. He gave me a systematic breakdown of the age of our old boiler and how it being so old the chances of it moving successfully were quite low. He recommended us a new boiler and quoted for the full move and corresponding pipework and fitting. Very reasonable quote and quick turn around for fitting. Mick and the 2 lads who fitted it were great. The work has been done to an excellent standard and myself and my wife are made up with what they promised and delivered. Would highly recommended 👌 Thank you from my family to yours for the great communication and work from start to finish. On a side note aswel, when Darren was quoting for our boiler one of the first things he noticed was the gas fire in the living room and how it looked dangerous and needed looking at before using again. As we are renovating we removed the fire to find a huge amount of soot that shouldn't have been there. So I will be calling on them straight away to deactivate and condemn my fire. Thanks so much for all your assistance 😁

Brilliant team!!! Recently had a new central heating system new boiler and new shower fitted by these guys and they have done an amazing job. They removed the old very dated heating and boiler put a new modern higher spec system in and even got rid of the old stuff they removed. They turned up when they said they would the job was neat and tidy and exactly as discussed I couldn’t be happier with it. From Darren coming out to meet us and do a qoute to the lads that completed the job to the girls in the office it’s the whole team who made the experience a lot easier to deal with. Thank you all for a brilliant job your great at what you do and I would defiantly recommend you anytime.

Central heating stopped working. They identified the problem and sorted it without fuss or bother. Excellent customer service from start to finish. I would recommend you use this ethical family business

A first class project completed in a short timescale. Great Fitter who left everything clean and tidy too.

Excellent job from first visit to job done. Very friendly staff, no mess left and now nice and warm. Thanks x

New boiler fitted and working less than 48 hours after first contact. Firm was friendly, reliable and transparent about all aspects, highly recommended

This company recommended, supplied and fitted 2 new Boilers at New Life Revival Church in Liverpool in February 2022. After much deliberation with other Engineers DD Wilson came out the day after we contacted, they gave advice & recommendations and promptly answered the questions from the Church. Once the very fair quote was given, the job was quickly, tidily and successfully carried out. After many a drafty Sunday morning we have now had to adjust the timer settings as the Boilers are so efficient and effe. We'll done team, job well done 👏

A rare company dedicated to providing good quality service. I would recommend them to anyone.

Your engineers did brilliant job for putting new boiler Both guys are very good 👍 and a good price

Darren and the team turned up exaclty when they said they would and completed the instalation of a new boiler very quickly and to a very high standard. I would be happy to use this firm again and would reccomend them to anybody who requires work of this type carrying out.

Very efficient, worked around my hours with work etc. Everyone I had contact with was lovely and I can't fault the work carried out (new boiler fitted and old radiators replaced). I would recommend and use DD Wilson again.

Boss job! Quoted for and managed by Darren and carried out by Shaun and Al. Our's was a big job replacing a complete outdated heating system in an old house so plenty of things to go wrong or trip them up but they handled it all amazingly. They were always willing to answer questions and give us updates. Honest hard working lads, we are really happy with the quality of the work! They are all really passionate about their work at DD wilson, they take great pride in what they do! Love that it's a local family business too would recommend to anyone.

Very bad customer service! Very disappointed! Unacceptable. We call the 21st Dec saying that we have an issue with our boiler (they do the service to us last year, so we are not a new customer). We told them that we have 2 little kids and we need someone ASAP as we don't have any hot water. They PROMISED that they couldn't send anyone the same day but will be for sure the day after (22nd). I just call today to check at what time they will be here, and the lady on the phone just told me that one can't make until new year... In 10 days... Is embarrassing! She said, she call this morning to let us know, no missing call, no voice message! If I knew it I will call someone else yesterday.

I would absolutely recommend these guys to everyone, they literally looked at my dads broken boiler and fitted a new combi boiler within 2 days, we had a problem with 2 of the radiators since the new boiler had been installed which they came back within 2 days to sort and it turns out it wasn't even anything to do with what they had done it was just 2 seized radiator valves, nevertheless they were sorted in no time with no extra cost ! Thankyou to all your team from the office girls to the men on the Job you are all fantastic 😀

Where can I start this family run great company have got me out of a really bad situation I was ripped off by cowboy plumbers who repiped my whole house and refitted all of my radiators with plastic pipe. They destroyed all my ceilings, carpets, laminate flooring, floorboards, they used 15 mil pipe throughout my whole house and left my house unsafe for my two children. Darren and his team not only came on short notice give me a good price ripped out all the new pipe work from the cowboys and refitted copper pipe work and all my radiators leaving me and my family safe and happy I could not recommend this company enough they have been amazing to me and my family thank you darren and your team you have truly been amazing I can’t thank you enough

I can recommend DD Wilson Gas Engineers. I had my boiler replaced in no time. Reasonable pricing and great customer service. 5 star from me. Thanks!

I had a full central heating system. Combi Boiler 6 radiators and all pipe work fitted in 3 days work was done to a very high standard both gas fitters very pleasant and helpful

Excellent company. Highly recommend

Impressed with all the team very happy to recommend all at DD wilsons 10 out of 10

Fantastic service excellent job highly recommend thankyou very professional top job

Have use DD and Darren a few times and they are always able to come to the property promptly and give honest evaluations of any faults. The people who man their phone lines are very helpful too. Can't fault them.

My old boiler packed up. Always get 3 quotes for jobs. Darren came out and quickly put me at ease. His quote easily beat the others. Sometimes you wonder why other companies are so more expensive. Date for fitting was arranged. Keith turned up on time, explained what he was going to do and fitted the new boiler. Brilliant job. Had a small issue, rang Darren and Keith came back out and fixed it. My vaillant 10 year guarantee and building regs documentation has arrived. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. In fact I was on British gas homecare and when my old boiler packed in and the parts were obsolete I asked the British gas engineer who could he recommend. He said DD Wilson. After dealing with them I can see why he recommended them.

We got in touch with DD Wilson after a recommendation from a friend. From start to finish the service was A1; outstanding! Clear explanations of the work to be done, the price, the timescale etc. This was all done when we were on holiday abroad and relying them to sort everything out so communication was key. Faultless! Thanks Darren and everyone who helped us, much appreciated.

great service and great customer interaction !! DD Wilson diagnosed my tenants boiler problems gave me clear honest opinions and then replace and installed a new boiler quickly and efficiently. very happy with the Results and aftercare

DD Wilson done a great job from diagnosing the fault to suppling and fitting a new boiler. Paul was exceptionally clean and tidy and his high standard of work and efficiency was faultless. Thank you!!

I would highly recommend this company, from the moment I sent an enquiry for a quote for installation of new combi boiler, I have received first class service. I didn't have to wait long for a visit to survey what was required and was given a detailed description of the job and what was covered in price. The installation was done efficiently and quick. Mick and Dave kept me upto date on where they were upto. But really you would not have known they were here. Cheers lads... So Thanks Darren and the gang for a stressless install

Darren and his team removed and fitted a new boiler for me last week. There was lots of issues with the pipe work on my previous boiler but nothing was a problem to them. After changing pipe work and balancing my radiators everything is running perfect better than it has ever been. Thank you Darren and your team for all your help. Lovely friendly team would recommend you all.

D D Wilson what can I say, excellent service from phone call, site visit & quote Thursday to new boiler fitted Friday experienced and polite staff thank you very much I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Wilson converted my boiler from a traditional to a combi, and I have to say the service was excellent. Everything was explained, both what I was getting and what the changes would mean to my heating going forward. The engineers turned up on time and competed the work leaving everything clean and tidy behind them. They even sorted a couple of glitches on the day without any trouble. All in all would recommend as good honest guys.

Wow Wow Wow! What an absolutely brilliant team of people, truly fantastic job completed. I made an enquiry regarding a Combi Boiler to replace an existing Boiler and Tank. Having been referred to them, I reviewed their website and saw excellent reviews, contacted them on WhatsApp with a quick reply and Darren Wilson made an appointment. Very friendly approach and talked me through everything, explained the costs involved and timescales. Quote came through and nice friendly call from the office staff too. Due to a leak, I needed some urgent help and Darren and his team attended to this very quickly, we agreed an installation and within 24 hours the team arrived to complete the install. They were friendly and professional, started work at 10am and by 2pm new Combi boiler installed, old tank removed, hot water again at last, a new storage room ex Cyclinder. I already notice big drop in gas bill. Darren popped back to Quality check work making sure I was happy. Cannot thank them enough.

Really well run family business. Darren is lovely, you can tell he cares about the work him and his team do. We’d rang a few places and been told it was up to 6 weeks for someone to come and quote. Darren came the same day and we had the work completed 4 days later. Then he followed up the work with a message just asking if we were happy with everything. Spot on job, really pleased with our new boiler. We’ve even got a free boiler service thrown in for in a years time. I’d definitely recommend to anyone! Thanks Darren & team 😊

Had a new boiler installed by DD Wilson. The two lads who carried out the work Dave and Mike, worked to a high standard and were very professional.

From start to finish a fantastic service . Had a new boiler and 2 new radiators fitted All the staff and fitters we saw were friendly and helpful Clean and efficient Can t fault this company at all and would definately reccommend First class

These guys are like a breath of fresh air! Everything a company should be! They're experienced, knowledgeable, competitive, very pleasant to deal with, efficient, clean & tidy. Quoted on a Monday and fitted Wednesday (they could have done it on the Tuesday but I had a hospital appointment so no-one home). From beginning to end, and absolute pleasure to deal with. And as for the final result? Well, if Carlsberg made Boiler Companies.... they'd make DD Wilsons! Fabulous!

Untrustworthy! They took a £440 fee for something they later said was clearly unfixable - they did not fix anything and will not refund. Will have to take them to court as they are unwilling to refund a penny. Was basically robbed. Do not use this company!!!

Such lovely young men came to install my new boiler and radiators. Very tidy, polite and hard working. I would definitely recommend DD Wilson to anyone. X

After a lot of deliberation we decided we really needed to change our old trusty Boiler which had served us well for 25 years. A friend recommended DD Wilson and I’m so happy that they did! From the initial call to the office to arrange a quote to the installation lads saying goodbye the whole experience has been spot on! Darren himself came out for to do me the quote and we hit it off instantly. I didn’t need to seek any other quotes as I got a good deal and knew I’d be looked after . He shares a love of dogs too and our staffy was also very impressed! The boiler installation came a week later and the guys have done an awesome job. Very clean, very neat job, I would have been happy leaving them alone in my home to do the job as they treated our house with respect. I’ve had a conversion to a combi boiler from a system one and all of my tanks and pipe work have been removed. Nice big airing cupboard to fill with junk now!! I can not recommend DD Wilson highly enough! You know the one! Thanks Darren. It’s been a pleasure from start to finish

The team at DD Wilson were a pleasure to deal with the whole job took longer than planned due to a couple of issues with Suppliers. They worked tirelessly to make sure all the system worked and was safe to do including removal of not wanted or required old pipe work. Sean and Paul the fitters were great guys and were a pleasure to have in my home

Great service, they had no issues with needing to move and install a new boiler for us. Even cleaned up after themselves. Fair price for high quality product.

Fantastic service from start to finish when upgrading us to a combi boiler recently. Very reasonable price too. Would recommend to anyone!

Very happy with boiler that was fitted two weeks ago. Too service, great price and very happy with yearly service to keep boiler in top condition.

Efficient, clean and knowledgeable fitters dud a great job with our new boiler installation.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company! They are friendly, professional, honest genuine guys. Super fast and very tidy workers. Came to look at our faulty boiler and were really honest about our options. We opted for a new boiler and hive system and it was installed within a week. Used DD Wilson just over a month ago for my mum and we were so impressed we didn’t bother looking elsewhere because we knew we would get an excellent service, and they didn’t disappoint! Honestly, the relief of finding genuine professionals is priceless and we will be seeing them every year for our service! Well done DD Wilson and thanks so much Sean and Paul for all your help! Brilliant guys and a real credit to DD Wilson

Would highly recommend using dd wilson fitted my boiler and radiator and they done a boss job and was also very fast!!

Would just like to say a massive thank you to all the team at DDWilson for there super job for fitting our new boiler and radiators would recommend them to anyone cleaned up after themselves and very polite

We had our boiler fitted back in October and honestly, it's the best. Darren came round on the Friday, checked everything, gave us our quote and then everything was fitted, done and dusted by 5.30 on the following Monday. In 1 day they got us converted from an ancient back boiler to a brand new Vaillant combi boiler with shiny Hive thermostat that I can control through my Google home 😍 the house is so lovely and toasty warm now, lovely hot radiators and heat throughout the house and the bills have also been cheaper! They're not lying when they say no mess, no stress. In that 1 day they also fitted us with new copper piping for the gas cooker and fitted isolation valves on all taps in the house and a set of new taps on our bath. Darren and the whole team are absolutely sound! A proper family business through and through and I'm so happy they were recommended to us. The thought of having to deal with tradesmen as a young woman in a new home was so scary as some companies would use that to their advantage, but Darren and the team filled me with confidence, explained everything brilliantly, efficiently and were really reasonably priced and they made sure I understood everything. I won't be going with anyone else and will be recommending them forever. Thankyou so much Darren and team, we're absolutely chuffed!

Excellent workmanship and really organized, friendly and just got the job done in one day. We have had our old system changed to a New Combi Vaillant Eco Tech 38 Boiler and its fantastic, we have constant hot water and the house is so much warmer and gets hot super quick. The water temperature is hot and the pressure is great (no more trickles & waiting for water) we actually get bubbles when we fill the kitchen sink up!!! We feel so lucky to have found Darren and his team, they truly did a great job, honest and reliable and kept us informed every step of the way. I would definitely recommend getting these guys in, they truly are the VERY VERY BEST! Thank you.

An absolute god send ! We had a new Rangemaster oven supplied and supposed to be fitted by Rangemaster, told us we had a gas leak and shut our main glass supply. Left with no hot water or central heating, DD Wilson came out immediately, completed all relevant checks and informed no gas leak and switched gas back on immediately! Excellent communication and professionalism! A massive thank you to DD Wilson and will 100% use again in the future !!

We have two children 5 & 8 and since our daughter was born, most of the time had very little running hot water due to a fault on our existing standard system. We used to fill our bath with hot water from our electric shower. I contacted DD Wilson from seeing positive reviews on social media and numerous other review sites. I'd spent a number of weeks running through numerous on line boiler quotes sites but Daren from DD Wilson offer was to good to refuse including a hive smart heating controller (even throwing in a stand). We when with a powerful 35kw combi boiler and I just had a bath using just hot water from the taps in a long long time. Paul and shaun the instaers we had were awesome too, polite and hard working men, nothing was too much for them even me asking probably some of the daftest questions. Please don't bother googling other companies to get quotes for boiler replacements or conversions because you simply won't get better service or after care any where else.

We’d had a slow leak since June that was coming through the ceiling in the hall. We’d had another engineer out from a different company a few weeks ago who said he’d fixed it. A week later it started leaking again. Had DD Wilson out tonight and they found the leak after about 10 minutes. They also told us that what the previous engineer had done wasn’t even relevant to the leak!! Laminate floor up, floor boards up and then the issue was found. Leaking pipe. Glen fixed it in no time and now we finally have no leak 😀. He also put the laminate floor and floorboards back down. I called DD Wilson on Tuesday and they came out today (Thursday). Only got charged for the hour call out as well. Honestly cannot recommend these guys enough. Absolute top craftsmen and I will defo use them again.

Excellent service from DD Wilson. Our regular boiler broke on Friday. DD Wildon was recommended by a family member and came out to give a brilliant quote for a combi boiler the same day. DD Wilson managed to fit us in today. They arrived on time, talked us through what they would do and completed the job superbly. No mess left and left us with a nice warm house. I would highly recommend this company.

Cannot recommend this company enough.went above and beyond to help my dad.very polite and respectful. Cleaned up after himself.great company.

Excellent service from DD Wilson Gas engineers. Darren and the Lads provided an excellent service from start to finish. We are very happy with our new heating system all installed within 2 days. Very tidy and mindful of health and safety at all times. Would 100% recommend this company and these lovely lads Jeannette and Joe, Aintree

Couldn’t recommend these guys any higher. Darren came and gave me a very honest and detailed quote. Paul came bang on time and worked so hard all day to complete a full Combi conversion on his own in 1 day. 👏👏Standard of work is top class. I’ve just had the best shower ever. Thanks Guys.

Thank you team for fitting the new Valiant bolier yesterday. We're very happy with it and love the new Hive fitted too. The team was very helpful and informative from firstly calling them up and booking installation and full boiler and work was fitted in one day. I would highly recommend this company.

Just had a conversion job done by Darrens team, conventional boiler to Combi. The ancient system we had needed updating desperately and we were unsure it would last another winter. Brilliant service and communication from the beginning from the team and the boiler is everything we could have asked for and more! Super impressed with the Hive app and being able to control the heating from our phone, what a gamechanger! Everything ran smoothly on the day and the lads were efficient and tidied away all the mess. Would deffo recommend these guys to anyone, thankyou!

Had a boiler fitted by DD Wilson Gas Engineers. Turned up on time and was able to get the work done promptly. Customer service was great and quotation were all very competitive. Very happy with their services.

Our existing Worcester boiler was around 12 years old and although it was still working we took the decision to replace it as it was inefficient and had been repaired last year with Chinese parts (that took several days to arrive). We didn’t want it to break down again over the winter, so I arranged 3 quotations from 3 exceptional local firms. Any one of these I am sure would have done a great job so it took an excellent pre sale from Darren to secure the work at the highest quoted price. Why would we pay more? Well the DDwilson quote included a smart HIVE system and a Valiant boiler supplied and fitted. I looked up the reviews on boilers and found the Valiant boiler had been consistently praised by Which as a Best Buy so whilst I was unfamiliar with the brand on the evidence of the reviews this looked like an excellent choice, Darren was able to show me pictures of a system they had fitted on the same day as the quotation and reassured me. The HIVE system gives you complete control over the heating from your mobile. The combination of these two things really added value. The price was straight forward, presented in writing with the whole job detailed. I paid a 2/3 deposit and the materials were delivered the day before the job. The fitters were excellent and carried out the whole job in about 6hrs with minimal disruption. All of the waste was removed. The clincher was Darren arranging for BM developments to remove the cupboard housing the boiler and fit it back after. I liked this professional touch. Billy from BM was excellent. I am not one for faint praise but I would highly recommend DDWilson for your heating system. Straightforward, friendly and reliable.

If I could leave zero stars I would these have made a compleat mess of my home, wrong pipework in leaking boiler and the owner looked like he was on something had to get a different company in to fix there mistakes.

Very, Very, pleased, first class, a big thank you

Brilliant service from DD Wilson, the engineer Glen arrived very quickly and was very helpful and resolved our issue. I Would recommend this professional firm to everyone.

What a refreshing change to find a company / owner who is 100% reliable! They quote very competitively, turn up on time, the guys are all clean workers and tidy any mess they leave. This company is also the only member of the Master Craftsman guild in this area, well done guys you deserve this accreditation!!

We’ve had a new boiler fitted by DD Wilson. They also replaced 6 radiators and renewed all pipe work. 2 additional radiators were fitted in conservatory and dining room and a hive thermostat and control system installed. The 2 engineers bob and Keith did all this in 2 days. They were professional and efficient and very friendly. We are very happy with all aspects of the work and would highly recommend them.

ddwilson came highly recommended as they have gone the extra mile regarding service, and although they failed to turn up for a boiler service initially due to van failure, and because of inconvenience, serviced my boiler free of charge,Darren is a top man and can't speak highly enough

ddwilson fixed a boiler in our office which was in urgent need of attention they guys where professional, on time, worked so fast we didn't even notice the heating went off. They also did a landlord certificate for another boiler in the office. After being let down by other gas engineers ddwilson stepped up with customer support and aftercare, we would highly recommend this company.

Ddwilson gas engineers have replaced my boiler and a radiator the service the job and the engineer was excellent defently use them again highly recommended G wilson

Brilliant same day service, excellent work 5 stars

I'd like to thank Darren and the team at DD Wilson for a fantastic job on our new boiler fit. Boiler was relocated to upstairs to make way for a garage conversion and to get rid of the old non-combi gas guzzler. From start to finish we have been over the moon with the service and work provided. Darren came to tell me the ins and outs of the whole job beforehand, he's a very nice, friendly person and helped to answer all my questions in detail. When the lads arrived they cracked on with the job straight away. They knew exactly what was what and the boiler was up with all the new pipework a lot swifter than I thought it would be. The pipework is super neat and the boiler is spot on. We now have the hive system too. Heating control is easy as from my phone and its all linked to the boiler wirelessly to bring our house into the 21st century (at last). Hot water is spot on, fast, with good pressure (far better than before) and the heating is perfect (and pretty quick to get to temp too). If you are thinking of who to go to for anything related to central heating then you need look no further than these guys. Good fellas, sexy pipework and not a single complaint from a spot on job. A very reasonable price too so it is a no brainer all round. You Know The One Thanks Guys

Darren and the team were great. Nothing was too much and the responses to a challenge we had was quick and efficient. Had a new boiler fitted and I don't think I've had any job done in the house with so little fuss!! The customer service was excellent.

Darren from DD Wilson came out and assessed the work needed in our daughters house and provided us with three options to suit the space available to update and renew her combi- boiler within 24hours. Delivered the equipment for the job on the Friday 15/05/2020 and two of his team arrived at 08:00 Monday 18/05/2020 and the whole job was completed on that day. Clean, tidy, professional team and boiler is now out of the box room and in the loft with Hive controls. We and our daughter and her partner are delighted with the work carried out by the friendly, hard working team. Would highly recommend this company to all my family and friends, look them up you’ll be very happy with their quotes and as said before their standard of workmanship....👍👍
