Wood & Williams

Reliable and professional carried out with care and diligence. High level of customer service where everything was explained. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I cannot fault the service Wood & Williams have provided me with over the years. From picking up the phone by Natalie to the work being carried out has been totally professional They protect your home whilst carrying out the work to an exceptional high standard I certainly would not use any other company

A new boiler was fitted at my flat yesterday. Everything went as planned even though there were some unexpected problems. The service and professionalism were excellent. I do not have any reservations in recommending this Company unreservedly. Dr. Tudor Thomas

Could not be happier with the work done by Joe and the team. Communication throughout was top notch, both Natalee and Joe were very professional and happy to answer any questions. We had our old boiler, hot and cold water tanks removed, new boiler, kitchen taps, filters and Halo system installed. Price was very fair and the work was complete quickly and to a very high standard. Will definitely be using Wood & Williams for our bathroom renovation 😊 Cannot recommend enough!

I needed a new toilet as the existing one was completely blocked with limescale. Scott was punctual, very pleasant, efficient and tidy. The job was done quickly and the bathroom left spick and span. I will not hesitate to use W&W again.

I would highly recommend Wood and Williams plumbing and heating. We had new gas boiler installed by Joe and nothing was too much trouble the workmanship is first class. Since then they have upgraded our radiators making our house warmer

Great service from Wood & Williams. Always efficient and reliable. Lovely people too! Thoroughly recommend.

Wood And Williams have done work for us for the last few years. No complaints whatsoever. Always had a fantastic service from these guys. Trustworthy clean and efficient

Since Joe was recommended to me 2 years ago, I won’t use anyone else. Punctual, polite, friendly, reassuring & he does an excellent boiler service. He also replaced 2 radiators for us, good clean work and more reasonable than other companies.

Very good company, reliable and efficient.Lovely lads, polite and tidy.

Wood and Williams are extremely professional and reliable and have provided exceptional central heating care including under floor heating and annual boiler servicing over a number of years. Joe and Scott are both hugely talented, extremely hard working and absolutely lovely guys. I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Very efficient and reliable very good team

Reliable and methodical to find our plumbing problem, the best plumber we've had, also replaced our boiler and power flushed all rads individually, Joe went above and way beyond his duty to ensure the job was finished to a high standard. Highly recommend Joe.

I highly recommend this Company. When getting quotes for refurbishing my bathroom and replacing the boiler they were the only ones to explain what the possibilities were and to give a detailed quote. Their workmanship is excellent and, most important, they listened to me and considered my input and needs.

We are fairly new customers, Wood & Williams having been recommended to us by our daughter and son-in-law. We have received services to our systems and an emergency Call-Out. In every instance we have been satisfied with the service we have received. The response is professional and friendly and any problems have been dealt with efficiently

What an amazing company. The service we received was exceptional from all the staff concerned. The company is efficient from answering their website contact us form, prompt visit to quote for the job, prompt quote received, ammendments to the quote and the job completed professionally and to a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble and the advice given was very good. We will always be using this company going forward for any plumbing and heating.

Amazing company, attended a Same day call out, Scott was professional and went out of his way to inform me of the options available to me. We booked an installation to convert our heating system from Vented to unvented and the team were neat and reliable. I am happy with the service provided and would recommend them highly. Great work guys. Thank you so much.

Great company , they have installed and looked after my boiler for a number of years now. Great communication and always at the end of phone if you have any questions. Quick and efficient service all round

Joe Wood from Wood & Williams was great. We moved into our new home to find the complicated hot water system was not working and needed help urgently. Joe took care fixing the problem and then spent time to explain how the system worked and set it up to meet our needs. Thank you for a prompt and helpful service. I would have no hesitation recommending Joe.

very friendly, extremely professional and the work was carried out with great care and left looking clean and tidy. Arrived bang on time this is tge 3rd year i have used Wood & Williams and will continue to di so for their goid service.

We had our boiler replaced back in February and I have to say the service we experienced was exceptional! Not only that but the new boiler saves us a couple of pounds a day in heating costs. So thank you to Joe, Natalee and the team for all your hard work, advice and patience with us!

Joe installed a complete heating system for me when I renovated my bungalow. The boiler has been serviced annually ever since. I highly recommend Joe and Scott. Definitely a five star from me.

A brilliant experience every time with Wood & Williams. We have always used them for boiler services and most recently a boiler upgrade and move. Joe and Scott came out and provided an excellent service from quote to install, and then most importantly the after care to ensure we had everything up and running. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

Reliable and efficient; a great service!

Very happy with the work done by this firm. They came recommended by neighbors, and we think they did an outstanding job. In our flat, we had two problems: Very hard water, and the storage heater was crazy large in our service cupboard. We decided to replace the storage heater with a smaller unit, freeing up space. A shelf was built over the top, and then a water softening unit installed to clean all the water entering the flat. The firm dealt with it all, end-to-end. Delivery exactly what was promised. The staff were all great. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service from Joe and his team from start to finish. They were punctual, worked exactly to schedule, and were extremely respectful and professional throughout the entire installation. The workmanship was very clean and tidy, and surprisingly quiet as well — they kept the noise to an unexpectedly low minimum during the whole process. Everything was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. They also registered the warranty for us and arranged the next annual service, which was greatly appreciated and made the whole process completely stress-free. Highly recommended.

To quality service from first call to invoicing after the job was done. Polite and professional team, and worked hard to sort out our job when they technically didn’t have someone working. I’m very impressed and cannot recommend highly enough!

Wood & Williams have just completed a full new water and heating system at my property, and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of their work. Joe and Scott were so professional and helpful keeping me informed every step of the way regarding the process. I have no hesitation in recommending their company. If you are looking for professionlism, honest and hard working plumbers then look no further than Wood & Williams.

Scott, Lee , Natalie and Joe have been very professional throughout. From an emergency call out to booked in service. The service is seamless from telephone calls to their office/ admin, to advice, information and reassurance during times of stress and emergency to decision making about installation and equipment. Wonderful company- thankyou

Really great service. Always answer requests, clear quotes, clear communication, arrive on time, do a really good job and even take money off if the quote was too much. What more can you expect.

We recently had our entire bathroom ripped out and replaced, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, Woods & Williams have been fantastic. They were professional, reliable, and clearly take a lot of pride in their work. From the initial discussions through to the final finishing touches, everything was handled smoothly and to a very high standard. They kept us informed throughout the whole process and were always happy to answer any questions we had. The workmanship is excellent, and the attention to detail really shows in the finished bathroom. The space has been completely transformed and it looks even better than we imagined. They were also tidy, respectful of our home, and made what could have been a stressful job feel easy and well organised. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Woods & Williams to anyone looking for a bathroom renovation or similar work. A genuinely great job from start to finish.

We have used Wood & Williams on a few occasions now and are very pleased with their work. Joe & Scott work hard and are happy to help with any questions, and Natalee is great on the communication side. We will be using them again and we would recommend. Thanks Wood & Williams :)

Brilliant and trustworthy service, consistently excellent over the years. Fully recommended.

Wood and Williams , go straight to the problem and waste no time in getting the job done.

I found Natalie, Scott & Joe super helpful. From making my first call to enquire about water softeners for the hard water here in Poole. At every step the team have been professional, polite and knowledgeable whilst giving practical advice without a hard sell - which is rare and a bonus these days! An Aquabion has now fitted for a couple of days and although we know it won’t get rid of the hard water it softens it to make it manageable. Early indicators show a huge improvement with water quality and there is def less limescale in kettle and on showers.. I would 1000% recommend Wood & Williams to others and especially those with vulnerable relatives in the area as they are fair, honest and reliable . Thanks Team Wood & Williams

Scott did a first class job installing a water softener and sorting out a problem with my hot water supply in the bathroom. He explained everything clearly at each stage. The communication, quotations and scheduling of the work was expertly done by Natalee. Thank you all so much.

Wood and Williams installed a new Ideal boiler at my home address earlier this week. The engineer, Joe, completed the job, which included a full system flush and the installation of a new flue, in less than six hours. He created no mess and took away the old boiler and associated pipework and all the packaging from the new boiler. A very professional job in my opinion and I would certainly not hesitate to recommend this firm to others.

Excellent work. Quick service when boiler broke. Lovely helpful and friendly workman. Tookthe time to explain how everuthing works. Would definitely recommend

Very good service and good value. Listened to the ideal product we would require and fitted a boiler to suite our needs. Turned up on time, clean and tidy whilst doing the job. Would highly recommend.

Joe, Scott and Lee very professional, friendly and fast at responding, and explained what they where going to do clearly before starting. Turned up on time, clean and tidy whilst doing the job and after. Good communication from Natalie. Highly recommended and competively priced, would definitely use again and recommended to friends and family.

Joe did a great job very quickly curing our leak and following on with other jobs very efficiently.

I have used Wood & Williams for my home and my rental property. They do an excellent job, leave the space clean, arrive on time etc . I highly recommend them

We had our gravity heating system converted to a sealed unvented system. Joe and Scott completed the works, keeping our house as tidy as possible throughout and explained to us what had been done and how to use the new system on completion.

We’ve had only brilliant interactions with Scott and Joe of Wood & Williams - from installing a water softener, to the annual boiler service, and saving our family Sunday when they gave quick, clear phone advice and fixed our boiler remotely. Natalee is also efficient and friendly, keeping us in touch with updates. It’s so great to work with such transparent and knowledgeable professionals.

My wife and I wholly recommend Wood and Williams. When our boiler suddenly lost pressure due to a major fault and our heating stopped working then Wood and Williams came out quickly, provided a suitable quote and fitted a new boiler all within a week. Highly recommend this company.

Excellent and prompt service

Excellent Service, Highly Recommended! I recently had a new unvented hot water system installed by this company, and I'm extremely pleased with the work. They efficiently removed the old tanks and cylinder, reinforced the loft space, and installed the new 150L slimline cylinder with all necessary valves and controls. The pipework was neatly done and well-insulated. They converted my old system to a sealed system, which I appreciate. The team was professional, courteous, and clearly explained everything they were doing. They handled the Gas Safe registration and manufacturer's warranty without any hassle. They even took care of disposing of all the old materials. Great value for the price, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a new hot water system. Five stars!

Fab service. Professional, polite, efficient and tidy. I can't fault them they were great!

Wood and Williams have serviced our boiler for a couple of years. They advised us last year that it was reaching the end of its life, and, when it started playing up within days of their scheduled visit this autumn, we knew the time had come. Having assessed the myriad issues, Joe very quickly provided us with a comprehensive cost breakdown for a replacement. He then moved several jobs around so that we weren't without heating and hot water for more than a day or so. Once the new boiler was fitted, he took the time to show us through all the controls, plus how to set the new room stats. We've struggled to find a really competent and reliable heating engineer (and bathroom fitter - they do that too!) for a few years. Wood and Williams have made that a thing of the past. Can't rate them highly enough, really.

Very pleased with your efficient service had a full detail of boiler service and a receipt of payment so professional will be a long term customer really hard to get a decent job done .

Fantastic service, reliable and very knowledgeable engineers. Would recommend them wholeheartedly to friends and family.

Scott & his team were super professional, helpful and patient. The work they did on our en-suite bathroom was exactly what we wanted and they helped connect us to a good supplier who could create our vision. We have also used Wood & Williams for boiler services and repairs. The team are always on it. Thank you! Emily & George.

Found Joe on google & how happy that we did! He was very prompt could not be more helpful if he tried! Arrived when he arranged to and didn’t leave until our boiler was up and running again. He went over & above with his service! Left everything tidy very professional. Super nice bloke! Definitely recommend, very happy customers!!

I am leaving a feedback for plumbing and heating engineer Joey Wood of Wood and Williams who have carried out an excellent job on repairing of my boiler system as well as servicing. I present him with five stars rating and I would recommend him to anyone who have problems with their heating system. Dr.Ronnie Aung.

We used Wood & Williams as part of our bathroom project to replace our hot water cylinder with a pressurised cylinder and to make extensive changes to the pipework. They were excellent, producing work of the highest quality and completing this on the agreed dates.

My old shower was not heating the water so I called Wood and Williams for a quote to replace it. They came the very next day with a replacement and fitted it very quickly at the most competitive price. Tidied up after themselves. I highly recommend Joe and Scott and will use them again.. thanks guys

We are completely satisfied by the work carried out by Joe and Scott following a leak in our heating system. This was a large job including trace and access, new flow and return pipework and reinstatement work. We opted for some surface mounted copper pipes with brass munsen ring clips which look amazing in our period property. They proposed the best solution having discussed the options with me prior to carrying out the work and also during the installation phase. I would not hesitate to recommend this company as all the work was carried out in a professional manner and to a high standard.

Excellent service and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Joe and team were exceptional from beginning to end. Came in and quoted us for a few options, including some good ideas based on his experience. Picked one of these, booked it in and the works were completed on time and to a high standard. Heating system in our 1910 semi detached has been completely revamped and we are now ready for the next phase of our renovation. Will definitely be coming back to Wood & Williams for future plumbing/heating jobs!

Excellent service, prompt and very efficient. Very pleased with the quality of work, nothing was too much trouble and everything was left clean and tidy. They even took away all the packaging. Would use again.

The most genuine, hard working and professional tradesmen I’ve met! Can’t recommend enough

I would highly recommend Wood and Williams. The ancient boiler in our new house has broken twice leaving us without hot water (first time was an electrical issue due to a power surge and second time a flow valve had gone). Both times, Joe was able to come round either on the day or the morning after and was able to fix things there and then. He was courteous, professional and left things tidy. I also appreciate that there was no hard sales pitch. It would have been very easy the second time round to try and sell a new boiler rather than fix our old one. Instead we had an honest conversation about boiler lifespans and when it makes sense to repair vs replace etc. When we do eventually replace, we will 100% be using Wood and Williams. The prices were very reasonable, and he’s clearly very knowledgeable.

Excellent job done by Scott to replace our boiler. The hot water and central heating are working fine and we've a guarantee for 10 years on the boiler.

Scott and Joe have carried out plumbing work on various projects I have undertaken with my company Klata Interiors (Kitchen Installations and home improvements) I can't rate them highly enough, very professional, clean and tidy work.

My elderly mum had no heating and hot water, I contacted J W Gas & Heating on recommendation. They did not disappoint, a member of the team came out that evening, established the issue which was going to take more than an evening to rectify. They fitted the work in by doing it on the next weekend, rectified the immediate issue to get the boiler working again and provided a plan and quote to stop this happening again, which we had done. Joe was contactable and helpful for advice afterwards, when I had questions about settings and isolation valves.

I would like to express my gratitude to the team of professionals from Wood & Williams Plumbing and Heating Company for providing me with exceptional service in installing my new boiler. Their promptness, professionalism, and incredible attention to detail have exceeded my expectations. The team was courteous, respectful, and demonstrated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the installation and maintenance of boilers. From the beginning to the end, the entire process was effortless. I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend Wood & Williams Plumbing and Heating Company to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy company to work with. Thank you for the excellent service you provided.

So quite an easy review... Brilliant service, quick and efficient. Also very helpful and good customer care. Would recommend..

Joe’s workmanship is excellent, and he’s a very nice guy to deal with

Joe is a star - goes over and above to make sure the job is done properly. Did a brilliant job of changing our boiler - we've now asked him to do some more work for us. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

Joe at JW Gas is a very reliable, honest, hardworking tradesman. I cannot recommend him highly enough. We needed a new boiler installing Asap due to the cold weather and the fact that our boiler had seen better days. Joe came out to the initial job, identified the issue and helped with a temporary fix. He then advised on the best boiler to go with and arranged to install it. This was completed to a very high standard, with very little disruption caused. Joe even installed new smart controls to bring the system into the 21st century! A***

From the quotation through to the finished job Joe was very professional throughout with excellent attention to detail. Would highly recommend and we will definitely use him again.

Extremely helpful, will use again for all my Gas and heating servicing. Exceptional customer service. Highly recommend.

Joe came to me to put in new boiler to make my pressure better very pleased with what he did it is good now very polite man very impressed with the work he did and very impressed with the he cleaned up.after. he had finished Joan budden

Last week I had a new boiler plus two radiators fitted by Joe of J.W.Gas and heating ,I can thoroughly recommend him a very good worker very clean and tidy at the end of each day cleaned up well .If your looking to have any gas work done then look no further you will not be disappointed. I'll give 5 stars.

Would thoroughly recommend Joe. Joe was able to move his jobs around so as to be able to fix a gas leak at our place. Very polite and professional manner. Will use Joe going forward and would 110% recommend Joe to any one looking for an honest , genuine tradesmen.

Joe reorganised his workload so that he could replace my boiler urgently as I was without heating and hot water. The installation was done without any dramas and they were very clean and tidy. Very pleased with the service.

We’ve recently had a new boiler installed by Joe, which involved it being relocated into the loft. Joe was professional from the outset advising us on things we hadn’t even considered, but would be beneficial and even more cost effective. He worked nonstop during the installation, was meticulous and left us thoroughly pleased with the finished job. We initially contacted Joe following a family recommendation and, on completion of our recent work, would also recommend Joe without hesitation.

Joe actually gave up a lovely ,sunny bank holiday Easter Saturday to install a new boiler for me. Arrived early and worked tirelessly all day. Clean and tidied up after installation. Did a fabulous job. Now have a new smart efficient boiler. A thing of beauty! 😂 Highly recommend to others. Top man!

Joe came and fixed a cracked gasket in the boiler. He did and excellent job. Many thanks!

I can't recommend Joe highly enough. He has helped resolve a tricky boiler situation at my elderly mother's home promptly, professionally and at a very reasonable rate. Also undertaking work at my home, going above and beyond ! Soon we will have a new heating system and would not consider any other company.

Joe came and changed our old boiler system for a new combi. From the outset Joe was very honest with his quotes, timescales and expectations which made everything really easy for us. The quality of work and attention to detail gives me no hesitation in recommending Joe to anyone looking for any plumbing or gas improvements.

When my elderly mother's gas boiler packed up and was beyond repair Joe was able to install a new boiler ,a thermostat and flush out the heating system at short notice by rescheduling his other work which was very much appreciated. He provided my mum with temporary heating so she would not be cold until the works were completed and carried out the work efficiently over two long days to minimise disruption for her.

Joe is a very professional, friendly & knowledgeable gas plumber. Excellent service & reliable. I would highly recommend JW Gas & Heating.

Joe Wood of JW Gas & Heating fitted a power shower for me today. He was quick, efficient and tidy. He fitted me in as an emergency job. As I was unable to be at home, I gave him a key and was able to trust him in my home. This made life so much easier for me. Joe is a hard working family man who takes pride in the work he does. He has been my plumber for over a year and I'm thrilled to have found someone so reliable and knowlegable.

Excellent service, high quality workmanship and professional! Joe came to install a new gas hob which he made look easy, all the work carried out was at a high level standard. Very friendly and easy to talk to, I would 100% recommend him and will be using Joe for all other gas/heating problems going forward.

I am only able to rate Joe as 5***** because of the limitations of this platform. If there is a better plumbing and heating engineer in the BH area, then I do not intend to hold my breath waiting to find him. Joe was truly 'awesome' in every regard, from the moment we (fortuitously) met him, through the stages of discussing our needs to the carrying out of the multi-facetted work we contracted him to undertake for us. He really understood our requirements, his quality of workmanship was second to none, and he accomplished precisely what we desired. His skillset and knowledge of his profession is clearly exceptional. It was a real pleasure to have Joe in our home, both as a professional practitioner and as a person, character-wise. We will have no hesitation whatsoever in availing ourselves of his services again; in fact, we have already 'booked' him for some future work.

Joe has done a few jobs for us from removing an old gas fire to replacing our old water tank type boiler to a mains pressure boiler. Joe worked really hard and did a great job. We haven’t had any issues. He is thorough in what he does and always wants to do the best job he can. I would definitely recommend Joe for any gas / plumbing related jobs.

Very happy with Joe’s work and would have no hesitation recommending his services

Excellent high quality, professional workmanship. Kept us informed at every stage of the work. Really pleased with the work and would recommend.

Highly recommend Joe for his professional, friendly and knowledgable approach. Managed to help an elderly lady with a long standing radiator issue and it's now working perfectly. Joe is 100% reliable and is also very reasonably priced. Wouldn't hesitate to use him for all future plumbing issues.

Joe was hard working, honest and professional in his recommendations to us. He went the extra mile for us when our boiler packed in on Christmas eve and his help and work was very much appreciated.

Joe Installed and safety checked our gas oven. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend J W Gas & Heating

After the recent cold spell our boiler decided to stop working. Contacted Joe at the weekend.A prompt reply was received, and the fault was diagnosed Monday morning.By Monday afternoon it was all up and running!! Very professional and would highly recommend.

Joe came to our rescue when our boiler stopped working, he got it up and running and was on time and very friendly. He also shared some tips with me on how to maintain our boiler. Would definitely recommend him to friends and family :)

Joe was amazing he come to service my boiler and on close inspection found out it wasnt working well at all. There was no hard sale to get a new one only good advice and knowledge about his work. He come out twice on a saturday nothing was to much trouble. He fitted a new boiler in literally straight away even tho he was busy. He went above and beyond his job really cared about his work. He was punctual clean and tidy. But most of all an expert in his profession.. I have recommended to all my friend and neighbours 10/10 and would not use anyone else

I would highly recommend J.W. Gas. The service was amazing, the team were polite, knowledgeable, communicative and left my kitchen cleaner than when they arrived! They listened to my feedback and found the appropriate and safe solution. If you are looking for brilliant service and reliability then look no further. Thanks Joe and team.

Absolutely brilliant job carried out in these difficult times. Joe was courteous, polite and extremely knowledgable. Will definitely use again in the future and would recommend him to any one! Great work ethic for what turned out to be quite a simple job!

Joe did a great job fitting our boiler! Pipe work is very tidy, very clean and polite. He finished on time and in budget, would definitely recommend

Was extremely happy with the work carried out along with the very competitive price. Everything was left clean and tidy and finished within the time frame given. I would highly recommend

Very professional honest & reliable clean & tidy.. Would recommend...

I would definitely recommend Joe, excellent service another great boiler installation with perfectly neat and tidy pipe work. Will use him again. Kind Regards Lee Aslet

Hard to sum up in a few words why Joe has been far superior to any plumber I’m yet to encounter but I think his knowledge and passion are definitely key reasons I continue to use JW Gas & Heating. Some good examples why I would always use Joe are - fitting an unvented system boiler with vast improvements in pressure and performance not to mention efficiency. Joe also came up with the idea to create an extra utility room by utilising the garage and his pipe bending looks like a work of art! Ill bet my life that if Joe finds a better solution he will and he’ll work hard and think creatively to find it too. Really pleased with the nest Joe installed too, really easy to control the heating and great user interface on both device and phone. Joe also services a penthouse holiday let of mine and he increased the water pressure significantly there too. It became apparent the lack of care from previous plumbers when Joe first serviced it and had to replace vital parts. Also installed a nest there too which makes it very easy for guests to use, pretty cool thanks Joe!

Joe is a true professional...his expertise and knowledge is astounding. Met alot of plumbers in my time doing facilities management but never come across a person so keen to do it right. He always tackles the job with vigour and enthusiasm and keeps the customer informed at all times. I would highly recommend him to any prospective customer.....

J.W Gas & Heating replaced my failing and very old boiler for a new Worcester boiler including a Magna Clean. From quote to the installation I could not fault the service received from Joe Wood. The quotation was received promptly and I was pleasantly surprised how competitive it was. On accepting the quote an installation date was agreed. Joe turned up on time on the day agreed and worked not stop and very tidily to complete the job in a day. Joe was very professional and organised in his work and we couldn't be happier with the end result.I wish all trades were this good!! I would not hesitate in recommending J.W Gas & Heating a first class company that did not disappoint. Thank you Joe for a great job.

Excellen t sevice and reliable.highly .recommend
