Instant Glass & Glazing Ltd

Harrison & Michael couldn’t have done more to help us, they truly went above and beyond! They overcame all the issues I had getting my sofa in, taking the window out and even helping us get the sofa in and into position! And were lovely people! Couldn’t recommend enough !!

We needed new rollers on our sliding patio door. Instant Glass and Glazing supplied the best quote. The guys who came did a great job and the door now slides perfectly. What I really liked was their attitude -when the first guy came to assess the rollers he asked about walking through the house with his boots on, it was a wet day. Then when they came back to fit the rollers they saw our cat walk out the door and asked us if she was allowed out. Things like this show customer care. well deserved 5 stars

Got these guys to do glazing job. Callum and Dave were very professional and skilled workers. They have done an amazing job and will recommend to all.

Amazing communication and rapid response to boarding up our shop pre London parade. Cannot recommend enough.

I called Instant Glass and Glazing as my balcony door, which has a Dorma door mechanism, had broken through wind damage and I wasn’t able to keep the door open. I called Instant Glass and Glazing and they said they had a team in the area — and lo and behold, they actually had the part on the van. I couldn’t believe it. They didn’t even have to order the part, they already had it with them. David came round with another guy and they had it all fixed within 15–20 minutes. I could not be more pleased with the service. Very professional outfit and I would highly recommend Instant Glass

There were a few issues along the way and the experience was not completely straightforward, but the company remained calm, professional, and polite throughout. The work was carried out to a decent standard, and in the end we were able to reach an amicable solution. They were a little on the expensive side, but overall they achieved a result and handled things professionally.

Ian was fantastic. Came out the very same day to fix my mother-in-law’s cracked windscreen. Quick, professional, and did a great job. Highly recommend his service!

Definitely recommend this company. This is the second time we have used them, firstly to fit a new uvpc sash window and recently to replicate a patio door that is no longer available. They have provided an amazing servive from start to finish.Excellent communication from the company and the guys that did the work of removing and fitting were quick, polite and tidied up afterwards. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Outstanding work and service! Highly recommended. The soft close mechanism on a really high end bespoke wetroom door we have stopped working, so the bespoke glass door would slam. We had several builders and even another special glazer look at it and they had no idea where to start, what parts we needed, where to get them, etc. I then stumbled across Instant Glass and Glazing and they came around promptly. The spent a lot of time removing bits of the fixings, had a good look "behind the scenes" to see how it was all put together and then gave me a very reasonable quote. When the parts arrived, two of them came round to fix the glass door's mechanism. They could not have been better: polite, clean, very thorugh, minimum cutting into wall as needed, etc. They put down dust sheets and then cleared up so that you wouldn't actually know that there had been workmen onsite. The guys were just a pleasure to work with and they were very thorough in what they did. What made it even better is that they are actually all really passionate about glass. We have a lot of structural and curved glass in our home and this really fascinated them. We shared a real passion for this. We will definitely have them do the rather challenging glazing needed for the next building project we have just started on. Top guys!

Top company from first call with Heather to Jason and Luke who measured snd fitted. Great product, service and installation. Faultless.

We booked over the Christmas holiday period to have our bi-fold doors looked at as it seemed like they had dropped slightly. They arrived today on time and dealt with the problem very professionally and were a very nice team.. I would highly recommend.

Friendly and prompt service at all points of our interaction- could not recommend them more. Brilliant service!

Window would not close, snapped hinge on New Years day of all days! Paul arrived on time, did the work in a short period of time to highly professional standard. Would highly recommend, will use again in future! Thank you so much!

Amazing service straight after Xmas when everyone else was closed. Couldn’t be more helpful and would highly recommend to anyone

EN25LVD - I can not comment on the work of this company but I can comment on the Driver of this van causing issues on the road, pure arrogance not giving way as they should making HGVs slam on the brakes because they don’t want to stop at a busy roundabout. Poor driving people like this causes accidents.

We used Instant Glass to board up and replace glass in our PVC door, super quick response late in evening and very efficient to follow up and sort glass! Highly recommend these guys - thank you

This company attended late on a Saturday evening to board up a window. They carried out the repair at reasonable cost and were helpful and efficient throughout.

Replaced 6 double glazing panes - very responsive and work done within a week

First glass service efficiency speed

I wasted time asking them for a quote. If the job is too small they don't even have the decency to tell you "I'm busy" or "not interested". Avoid

Instant Glass offer a great service, at a good price, all the people i have delt with have been friendly and helpful. If i need any further work they will be the first person i come to, and i wont waste my time asking for other people who don't bother to contact me or as one did come in at a stupid quote, and then keep calling me lowering the price. Thanks again to all

Terry and Dan were great. Very knowledgeable and friendly and they did a great job repairing our bifold doors!

Replicated and replaced a damaged double-glazed unit that was also leaded. Excellent job and great service - very helpful thank you!

We had leaks in 3 large skylights, phoned Instant Glass at 10am - visit with a quote next day and repaired next working day. Repair looks excellent and great value and efficiency. Would happily recommend.

Quick, polite, helpful - good job. Thanks!

Amazing service Quick and efficient Edward was great He went out of his way to repair our patio doors rather than just fob us off with boarding them up We were very impressed with these guys

Super easy. Loved it.

Excellent company! Fast and efficient. I would not hesitate to use them again if need be.

These guys are excellent. The glazing business (in my relatively limited experience!) can often be a nightmare to handle and you hear all sorts of horror stories about them - not this lot. Polite, efficient, reasonably priced, good at communication and best of all - on time! Special mention to Reece, who put up with all of my inane questions and whatsapp messages and made sure that things went off smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

Great service Stones Residential

The team promptly evaluated the work required to readjust my doors, and they were able to successfully resolve the problems that existed. Really good service and team!

Excellent fast service! They fixed my stuck window in less than half hour. Thank you so much guys! 10⭐️

Very professional! We had hired two others to fix our door, none had a clue, but instant glass and glazing came, knew exactly what they are doing, the office staff were very helpful. we can close the door fully after four months, thank you!

My husband found this company online and after reading excellent reviews decided to go ahead . We required a cat flap installation in a full length bay window and also a hinge repair to another window . After our initial enquiry we had a prompt response and a visit was booked with two fitters where the jobs were quickly assessed . A couple of weeks later the jobs were completed . The fitters arrived when they said they would and completed the jobs to a high standard . They were efficient, polite and friendly . I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them .

Very efficient and friendly service, and excellent quality work

The engineer who came was extremely thorough and efficient. Highly recommend.

I sent a message through their website with dimensions and type of glass as it had a hairline crack to see if they could repair or replace. A phone call the next day and quote sent over the guys turned up tp measure up the following day as they had a job nearby. It was ready to be installed within a week but I needed 3 weeks as I was away. Job just got finished - looks fab, quick and easy for Jason and Paul installing it and they took the split sheet of glass away. The Georgian Wired Glass looks fab and they guys were able to reuse the wood, minimal paint touch up required, and clear sealant used to professionally finish the job. Glass removed, replaced and area cleaned up - all done in less than an hour. Would highly recommend for speed of being able to take on thw job and the job being completed

Great service from Jason and Paul. Fixed the problem on the first visit and have excellent advice to avoid it happening again. Highly recommend

Excellent service, brilliant workman. Can thoroughly recommend. Also fair prices. Thank you

An exceptional and professional company. The response to the emergency call out was quick and Paul provided a very efficient and excellent service. Will definitely recommend Instant Glass and Glazing and the review is 💯% deserved.

I used instant glass and glazing for a bespoke repair job for an internal wardrobe and I found the service excellent. From the beginning in the office deal with Reece, who was very professional, responsive and reactive to provide a price and book the works in promptly, to the two gentlemen that arrived to carry out the works, Dan and Callum - total service was very professional and value for money. I would certainly use again.

Great, punctual and polite and have done a good job. Will use again!

Just had a visit from Calum and Jason to help with the sash windows in my flat. They were fab - managed to get two windows that we thought were completely broken back to functioning! Really nice, friendly and helpful chaps. Super happy with the service today.

Excellent service from Instant Glass & Glazing. I needed a new double glazed unit with a cat flap fitted, after reaching out to 6 other companies who all said it would take about 5 weeks to completion I almost gave up but then I found Instant Glass who came out the next day to survey and then 7 days later the glass was installed. Two different teams attended (1 for survey and 1 for fit), all of the guys were so friendly and worked quickly. I also spoke to Heather and Reece in the office who were a great help and very responsive! I would not hesitate to recommend Instant Glass and will definitely use them again if needed.

Instant Glass were first class, from start to finish! Rees in the office offered us the most competitive quote of 3 acquired and the team arrived on time, the same day. The two man team were polite and efficient and did a great job👍

We initially found instant glass online when we searched for a local company to come and board up our shop window that got smashed. Such a smooth process to getting it all boarded within a few hours which was great. We then used them to put a new bit of glass in. We have had it fitted today. Everyone from the company we have met have been so friendly and helpful. The communication has been brilliant throughout the whole process. Would 100% recommend. Thank you guys!

The team, both in the office and the team that came to my home could not have been more helpful. This is the second time I have used Instant Glass in an 'emergency' and they were exceptionally responsive. Would recommend.

Very good prompt professional service.

Contacted Instant Glass on WhatsApp as I needed a new peach mirror for my bathroom. The next day they popped round and took the old mirror as template for the position of the holes. Very friendly and within 2 weeks I have my new peach mirror at very reasonable price. Very professional and efficient so definitely recommend Instant Glass to anyone.

Great service and extremely quick turn around.

The team sent were quick, thorough and professional. He left the work area spotless and was happy to discuss at length the options I had available. Will definitely be using again in the future.

Had a great experience with Instant Glass for fitting our cat flap. They were able to come out very quickly and measure up and then they came round the week after to fix it. They were very flexible on times and the workers who came round were very good and explained exactly what they were doing. They even noticed an issue with our patio door and fixed it just on their own backs. Special thanks to Ian and Harrison. Would definitely recommend.

the team that came to our flat were fantastic, efficient, polite and very skilled and knowledgeable. We had very old Upvc windows that were sticky and not fitting the frame snugly causing many drafts. This was all fixed. I would highly recommend this company.

I spoke to Heather yesterday (2nd January 2024) and told her that the dreadful storm had 'blown out the side window in my bedroom. The hinges at both the top and bottom had snapped and bent and the window was wide open and couldn't be shut. Heather gave me incredible help for which I thank her profusely. I took photos of the damaged window and sent them to Heather. She rang back and said someone would be with me in an hour. Fifty minutes later, a gentleman called Stuart called and did a complete repair. All in all, this was a first class service and I can't thank Heather and Stuart enough for lessening my stress!

I was in desperate need of help to replace broken windows and the service I received from Instant Glass and Glazing was outstanding. David provided a truly excellent service! We contacted Instant Glass on Thursday 16th November about a broken shop window after being quoted early December dates by other companies. David said that he could measure up on the Friday and install the new glass on the Monday. He stayed true to his word and the work has now been completed! Truly fantastic service from start to finish and I would be confident in recommending Instant Glass to anyone who has emergency glazing needs!

Thank you to Instant Glass for helping us after a recent break-in to our home. Kind, efficient, professional staff. Would highly recommend. Left our home clean and tidy, prompt service and good communication.

Excellent service

Got a quote and fitting as soon as I required, quick simple and one of the cheapest available. The two lads came quite early as I requested and were in and out with the job completed in 30 mins would defo recommend.

I had an accident when mowing the garden, sending a pebble flying into the patio door shattering the glass. I contacted Instant glass and was advised of what the repair entailed and roughly how much it would cost (which was nowhere near as much as I was dreading!). Jamie from Instant glass came out and measured up very promptly and very soon after, the work was completed to a high standard. Professional, tidy and friendly service. I would definitely recommend and would use again.

Great and quick service!

Very professional, quick to quote and measure and then kept in touch during materials lead in. Very good and quick installation on the day

I've used them twice now to fix and replace windows. Both times really friendly, quick and tidy job.

Excellent service from David and his team. Very competitive prices and excellent communication throughout. Will definitely use again and recommend!

I had a dog flap installed with these guys and wow what wonderful service so friendly and helpful throughout, very polite and amazing job at a great price thank you

My mum and dad, both in their 80's, went to this business to purchase a small piece of glass for a project dad was doing. The salesman initially wouldn't take any money for the glass, saying it was such a small amount and that they were trying to look after the locals! Mum insisted he took a small amount of cash, saying you can't run a business like that! They were both chuffed to bits at the friendliness, professionalism and the offer! Important to keep these local links going....not saying you'd all get free glass... but do go and support them!

A prompt and efficient service

10/10 quality

I was really struggling to find someone who could cut and provide sized 6.4mm clear laminate glass quickly on the same day. I'd tried many other companies in the area and despite being glass merchants either they didn't offer the service at all or could only offer next day service. Not so Instant Glass! Dave fielded my inquiry in a friendly and most professional manner, so helped straight away and make it easy. I ordered and paid over the phone and he emailed me an Invoice as receipt. Easy and no fuss. It was an absolute pleasure working with him to solve my pressing problem. I would thoroughly recommend you making Instant Glass your FIRST call. I have every confidence they will help solve your needs!

Called when my mums window wouldn't close, leaving her vulnerable to the weather and intruders.. Honest and decent bloke- sound and reliable advice, saved us a fortune when every other company we called wanted to just board it up until after the weekend and change us the earth. Can't thank you enough!

I found the firm online when I got home late to discover that burglars had broken my back window. They came out quickly, were efficient, professional and friendly. Contact with the office regarding follow-up work was easy and the work done well and again efficiently. They also took reference photos of both the damage and the work.

Brilliant - great communication, great finish on a fiddly job and delighted to have unbroken glass in our windows again. Note to self: me more careful with tennis balls in future - but Instant Glass and Glazing have my back if i put another ball through a window.

I was in a fix moving into a new flat just before Christmas with a broken window. Instant Glass came out within hours of me getting the keys to measure up, did a temporary fix on the spot, and a full replacement the last working day before the break. Cleaned up well and took away all the rubbish. Very satisfied.

I can't thank David & his team for all the help given in the last few weeks. Responds straight away. No hidden agendas. The glazers who've been to my house, all great, polite and got the jobs done. Great service and would call upon them again in the future. Highly recommend.

It was by chance I came across this company as I saw that one of their workers Dave was securing a broken window at a nearby premises after the Pride event in Brighton on a Sunday afternoon. He offered to come and look at our window straight away and an immediately took control of the situation and secured our dangerous window. Being Sunday I was so glad to have the glass secure at least. He then measured up for a replacement glass and a quote was sent to me at 8am on Monday morning with a booking for the work the next day on the Tue. The workmen (Dave and colleague) were brilliant, they got on with the job in a systematic way and resolved a few complications we had, they were also friendly and calm to deal with. Time keeping was excellent and they kept us informed of arrival etc. The office were also very proactive and are fast to answer queries. They have excellent customer service, I would highly recommend them as they are very well run and organised, rarely found to this degree these days.

Really professional and helpful and turned up super quickly on short notice to board up a door window.

Gave me a quote within 5mins of the phone call, and booked me in for the next morning. 24hr service, so they can even arrive on the same day. The glazier arrived 30mins before the start time, so they are well ahead of time, and will definitely not be late to a job. Professional and honest staff, who do a proper job and are no where near cowboy repairmen. Excellent quality glass, and 10/10 fitting by staff. The job was completed in 30mins. Would not go to ANYONE else, will definitely recommend these guys, I could trust them with my eyes closed. Will use them again in the future!

Wow! Gary saved my life on Saturday. I was not at home and I heard from our neighbours that my front door had one panel smashed through. I managed to get photos over to Gary who gave me a quote straight away. Within 2 hours it was fixed. I was so happy with his service and I am so thankful for his help.

I had an issue with the door spring at my shop and they fix it very quick. very happy with the service and very professional. Thank you!

All good, quite fast and really nice service, bit expensive but good quality.

Very fast response are shop window shattered at 7.30pm I found Instant Glass on the Internet and they had two men on site by 8.30pm to remove the glass and board up the shop front Very pleased with their service

The hinge on the Apex door at our office had broken and we could barely open the door. They arrived the next day and fixed everything quickly and efficiently. Good value compared to other similar companies we have used in the past.

Can only echo the same experience as everyone else. The guys came out and measured the bay window within a few days. And the new window was installed the week after. No problems with anything. A fast, simple process, reasonably priced.

Prompt and reliable service and good value.

Found Instant Glass and Glazing online while searching for a company who specialised in glass splashbacks for kitchens. Dealt with David via email who was quick and responsive to my questions. David also arranged a couple of glass samples which were personal dropped off to me. Our kitchen was professionally measured and everything was ordered. An installation day was arranged. The installation team turned up on time and quickly set to work. They were great, couldn’t fault them. Fast, efficient, polite and tidy. Very happy with the splashback and the whole experience.

Brilliant support and service with an emergency, boarding up to secure our premises after church glass doors were vandalised. Calling around early on a Sunday morning of a bank holiday weekend we expected to be fleeced, but Dave and the team were absolutely brilliant from initial enquiry through to completion and follow up. Highly recommend and will happily use again for any further needs.

We have an old 1960s door in which we accidentally busted through the beautiful reeded glass. We contacted Instant Glass & Glazing as we were looking for someone local who had good reviews. We can see why they have 5 stars! Not only did they quote us a competitive price (whilst others quoting us 3-4x more ) they came the same day. Super professional and friendly team, they replaced our glass to a high standard and cleaned up after themselves. If that wasn’t enough they planed our door because they noticed that it was really hard to open and close. They were concerned we might put our arm through the glass again!! I mean this was completely unnecessary as they did it out of the goodness of their hearts. I have to say sometimes encountering a lot of grumpy people during 2020 covid can really have you down. After having these guys fix my door it really restored my faith in humanity. Just nice honest guys. I don’t feel like I was taken advantage. In fact looking back, I should have paid them more !! Outstanding service! Wholeheartedly recommend ! Merry Christmas !!

Brilliant friendly efficient service and fantastic value.

Highly highly recommend these guys. - Excellent Customer service - Competitively valued - Outstanding quality of work

David was a great help over the phone and the two guys who came on-to fix the glass door at the surgery were very professional and nice at the same time. All job fixed on the same day and with so much efficiency. They try to help you in every way they can and i recommend them to everyone of you. trust me you will not be disappointed with their service. excellent !! will use them again in future and for any other projects required.

Broken sky light with Storm Dennis just round the corner. Called Friday morning and they had someone out mid- afternoon and job finished before the rains came down. Would certainly use again.

Instant Glass replaced a new shopfront glass at our store following a car going into the shop front and needed it making secure and they returned the next day to replace the new glass and the office team are very helpful. Keep up the good work Instant Glass.

Excellent service. Tradesmen arrived at agreed time, and carried out the replacement of a decorative coloured glass window to a high standard. They were also polite and friendly to my tenant.

Quick and responsive and good value for money too. I'd definitely work with them again.

Brilliant service ! Office staff were helpful and processed our order within the time frame given. Delivery drivers were friendly and contacted us before hand as we asked and were flexible with their delivery options ! Great overall service.

Old mirrors removed and disposed off. New mirrors with holes to suit the new light fittings installed. Finally new light tubes fitted. The bathroom left clean and tidy. All the work was done as per quote and on time. Would be happy to recommend Instant Glass and Glazing to anybody needing this type of services.

Very fast response and quick fix of a broken window hinge

Very prompt and professional. Helped us secure our office after an incident and found replacement glass very quickly.

Fantastic service. Polite, timely and efficient. A real gem to have found.

Very helpful and friendly service. Repaired a broken window following a break-in. Dave in the office very helpful going over the repair options. Dave (the glazier) kept me updated of his arrival time and arrived within an hour. He completed the work quickly and tidily, which helped during this stressful time. He also took measurements for replacement windows and doors so hopefully will use their service again.

Amazing... quick, cheap, reliable and will definitely use again in the future

Would recommend Instant Glass without hesitation after receiving excellent service from Shaun. He was polite, friendly and very conscientious. On his first visit to secure our property he cleared our room of all the glass pieces thoroughly, moving furniture around and on his return to fit new glass he realised our door needed realignment, which was not something we would have known. He took his time to insure he left us in a good position.Any company should be proud to have Shaun working for them,as we were very happy with the service he gave us.Thank you Instant Glass, with special thanks to Shaun. Regards Menino and Lynette
