Sheerwater Glass

Very good service by Ben who replaced a piece of glass for us that had a big crack down the front. He measured the window hen came back with replacement Such a nice guy, also very professional, he cleaned up after fitting the glass. No fuss no bother would definitely recommend Sheerwater Glass.

Ben from Sheerwater Glass did a great job fixing our window handles and locks and making sure all windows were checked and lubricated. Took the trouble to come back later in the day with a new part for our kitchen window. Very happy and satisfied.

Ruslan did a great job repairing our double glazed door which would not lock. He adjusted it and left it working better than before. Good service from Sheerwater glass

Very professional and friendly service from Ben who identified the problem and fixed it promptly He then checked other windows for us and gave them a spray with Silicone.

Ben did an amazing job with sorting out our bifold doors. I know feel a little more secure with locking them at night and they fold back mire smoothly. Thank you Ben 😀

Our Velux blind broke and Velux recommended Sheerwater Glass to repair it. A repair was not possible so a new blind was ordered. This proved to be faulty and also had to be replaced. Throughout this whole process, the staff at Sheerwater Glass were unfailingly helpful and supportive. A special shout-out to their lead service engineer Ruslan who had made repeated calls to our house and worked really hard to understand the problems with the faulty blinds and to resolve them. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Ruslan fixed our doors quickly and advised on general maintenance. Great job, well done!

Ben is a very charming and professional young man. Great job thank you!

Thank you Ben for coming round to sort out our front door today, which now closes smoothly and doesn’t lock me out. And also for being very patient with my “whilst you are here” requests!

I had a broken electric velux blind and Ruslan from Sheerwater Glass fixed it for me. He was very polite and efficient and checked the job with me before leaving. He saved me lots of money by not having to replace the blind and I would definitely recommend for any Velux repairs.

Ben was very pleasant quick and efficient

Ben did a great job, quick and efficient

Chris did a fabulous job on my bifold door repair. Thank you so much

This review is for the on site service we received from Ruslan, who works for Sheerwater Glass. He visited our home twice. The first time was to install a new Velux Motor and Transformer for one of our skylights and to do the groundwork for a quote for new blinds. The wrong model of Velux Motor and Transformer had been delivered to Sheerwater Glass so could not be fitted. Today, Ruslan returned with the correct part and fitted it very quickly. He arrived in the first 20 minutes of our two hour slot and was very polite, clean and tidy. Thank you, Ruslan, for such great service.

Efficient, no messing got on with job .. job done , friendly. Ace .

Ruslan did an amazing job fixing our bifold doors. Sheerwater Glass were the only company we found who could do the repair for us (others wanted to do a full replacement of the doors). Thank you!

Very pleased with the service we received yesterday from Matt of Shearwater Glass. We called him in to unfix a jammed bathroom window. He sorted this out in no time and was very helpful in explaining how window joints and moveable parts should be cleaned and lubricated. So very happy with his service.

Good quality work in replacing biology door gaskets. Efficient, tidy, and precise with attention to detail. Thanks to Ruslan and Matt.

Ben came in today and fixed our poorly fitted conservatory door. Not only was Ben thorough and professional, he was friendly and great to have in our home. Thank you Ben!

Chris came to sort our bifold and was extremely helpful. He explained the issues and what action he would take to resolve. I was especially pleased with how quickly he resolved the issues as well. Excellent and friendly service. Would highly recommend

Big thanks to Ben & Chris, for your excellent service, clean and tidy, on time and absolutely no mess. Brilliant! Highly recommended.

Excellent service today from Ben from Sheerwater Glass who fixed a niggling problem with a recently installed window.

From the initial quote to the actual installation sheerwater glass were professional and the installers, James and Dylan were great to have around, working tirelessly in the very hot weather. They did a good job on the installation and we are very pleased with the doors and windows.

Ben visited us to sort out some problems with our windows. He was excellent, friendly and did a really good job. We asked him to look at another with another small problem which he also sorted. He explained what we should do to keep everything running well. Overall delighted with the prompt service and good workmanship. Thanks Ben. Christine and Lyndon Bird

Ben of Sheerwater Glass did an excellent job replacing a number of windows for us. He arrived on time, worked quickly and professionally and left everything clean and tidy. Ben is a credit to your company!

Ruslan repaired our broken mechanisms in our old windows, very professional service and we would highly recommend

Sheer water glass did a great repair on my double glazed window catch and lock. Very speedy, very clean and thoroughly charming man did the repair.

Ben arrived at the appointed time and carried out the work efficiently . We are pleased with the result.

Ben a very pleasant person could not do enough for us seems at moment he has sorted out our doors

Ruslan and Ben came to fix our bifold doors and did such a great job. Solved a problem we have been struggling with for a while and corrected some faults on the original setup. Really pleased, thanks so much

Great company would highly recommend. All staff have been amazing, professional and tidy. No pushy sales techniques and great to be able to visit the showroom to see the products. Brilliant from start to finish.

Excellent window service from Ruslan at Sheerwater Glass! He quickly fixed our window mechanisms and now everything working perfectly again, much needed in this hot weather! He was professional, reliable and friendly. Highly recommend Sheerwater Glass for double glazing and great follow-up support. Thank you Ruslan and Sheerwater Glass!

Very good and quick communication. Reasonable quote. Chris was on time and very efficient in replacing the cracked pane.Overall very happy with the service. Thanks!

Nick visited today to fix a broken window and also looked at another very last minute. Amazing and professional service provided. Cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic service from Nick! Would highly recommend.

Nick was prompt for our appointment, was able to rectify the issue quickly and also able to offer some sound advice for the future!

Fantastic fitting and service provided by Nick!! Really happy with the finished job. Very professional and a lovely guy. 100% recommend. Thank you so much.

Nick from Sheerwater glass just finished fitting my windows - Great service, quick, efficient and very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Solution based approach to bifolds that had become stuck restricting our access to the garden. Ruslan, senior technical engineer, worked diligently solving the problem in a short time. Great work, excellent result.

Nick was incredibly helpful in fixing the issue with the locking system on our bifold doors. It was a tricky issue but he persevered and figured it all out. I was impressed with his expertise and he was a pleasure to work with.

Ruslan from Sheerwater Glass arrived promptly for some maintenance work on our patio doors. He was respectful and professional, completing the repair quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend both Ruslan and this company for any future windows/door work to any home.

tldr; Mistakes were made with the clean-up, the fitting itself was as expected. I had a patio door glass replaced after it was hit by a stone. The job timelines were miscommunicated with me being told 2 weeks which turned into 4-5 weeks. The glass and job itself were done as you would expect. When they removed the patio door to replace it they shattered the glass, they then did an appalling job at cleaning up leaving glass around the door, in my grass, down my side passage also leaving screwbits on the floor. I have since had a few conversations with Sheerwater Glass and received an apology discount.

Sheerwater Glass were the only company we found who could replace our patterned sand blasted glass in our front door. And it looks amazing. Nick who installed it was friendly, quick tidy work. Would highly recommend.

FIRST RATE SERVICE AND EXPERTISE The team at Sheerwater went way beyond to help us in a very difficult situation. Ellie in Repairs and Ruslan in Engineering both provided cheerful and extremely competent support. Ellie recognised our need for urgent help and managed a very busy workload to help us. Ruslan quietly and expertly fixed the problem, leaving our patio doors working better than they have ever done and our home secure. My deepest appreciation. Best. R.

Very efficient service. Nick was on time, extremely professional and skilled. Highly recommend.

Just had 7 windows replaced by Ruslaw, who was fabulous - quick, tidy and polite. Great job!!

A great company to deal with from start to finish. Very responsive and helpful with queries on email, thank you Keira! Also a big nod to Ruslan who fitted the Velux glass replacement was very polite, clean and did a really thorough job, thank you! I would highly recommend using them!

I’m extremely happy with my new windows. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent – professional service, great communication, and high-quality workmanship. The windows look fantastic and have really improved the appearance of my home. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality windows and reliable installation. I’d also like to mention Lexi, she was extremely professional and courteous.

Fantastic service and support from the team at Sheerwater Glass. This is my first experience of the company and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Special thanks to Ruslan who was both friendly and professional, and took the time to explain why the Bi-Fold had failed, fitted the replacement hinge, adjusted the fitment, and serviced the door. It is now good as new.

Nick attended to check why the main door doesn’t stay open. He quickly offered to fit a door hook and did so efficiently. Pleased with the service.

Thank you Sheetwater. Excellent work by Ruslan who serviced our solar powered Velux windows. Highly recommend.

Nick was amazing! So friendly and helpful. Door looks great. Thank you!

Nick came in installed our new cat flap - very efficient, and super friendly! Thank you!

It was a pleasure working with Sheerwater Glass when it came to replacing my entire front porch. The process was transparent, efficient and exceeded my expectations. The price was pretty good too. I found Claire, Stuart, Simon, Judit and Lexi a pleasure to work with from the start to the end of the project. I would definitely use Sheerwater again.

Nick came to swap the lock on the back door and front door, alter the mechanism of the front door so you can close the door without it locking, and realign the door so it opened and closed properly as the hinges had sagged. It took barely any time, fully transparent on pricing, had everything he needed in the van so did it in one trip. Such a nice and efficient experience, I am super impressed and grateful. Thank you!

Thank you brilliant installation by Nick Efficient and friendly

From call-out , to dealing with the offie and the fitting(done by Nick) it all went smoothly and to a high standard. I have before and will always use Sheerwater glass for my glazing needs in the future

We had an excellent experience during the purchase of our back door. We had very good service from all the departments we corresponded with. The fitters were friendly, professional and efficient. A great job all round, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sheerwater Glass.

Prompt friendly service. Very knowledgeable. Didn't even mind the cobwebs and debris my piece deposited on the front desk!

Nick was amazing. Sorted the problem super quick. Highly recommend

Nick was absolutely excellent, efficient and highly professional! He completed the job swiftly, was very knowledgeable and exceptionally considerate of my child and dog. The windows look fantastic and I am in awe with how quickly they were completed. I am exceptionally pleased with the replacement windows and would highly recommend Nick and Sheerwater Glass!

Brilliant service, Nick was helpful, honest and efficient. I would definitely recommend Sheerwater Glass.

Nick turned up when expected and did a great job repairing the PVC windows in both our daughters bedrooms. There was a big gap on both windows which meant the rooms were difficult to heat but the are now both completely draft free. We thought we would need new windows so very happy that the could be repaired. Would highly recommend - excellent service.

Our second time choosing Shearwater Glass for new windows, this time for our living room. Delighted to have received the same level of service and quality as before.

We have used Sheerwater Glass several times, and this time had a new back door fitted, to match patio doors installed in 2012. Two initial visits to quote and measure, and email updates on progress, then the door was fitted in a professional way, and all was left tidily.

Although some windows not aligned and some damage to the lead on glass on first the installment, a special shout out to James and team who rectified this yesterday. James clearly knows what he is doing. Well done👍🏼

Excellent service from start to finish. Really good communication throughout the whole process. Our window arrived much earlier than expected and fitting was offered the next day. Excellent fitting team, polite and tidy, very happy with the job.

Superb service! Emailed Sheerwater Glass for a really urgent bathroom window instal and couldn't have received better service from anyone else. Spoke to Nicolas, explained the situation that I needed something really quick. Within a day I'd received the project summary and quote. Within another 2 days the surveyor had been and measured up. And then within 2 weeks of making the first contact I have a new bathroom window installed! Amazing! Absolutely top notch service and really appreciate the speedy instal. Would happily and highly recommend.

The Sheerwater Glass team recently replaced all the uPVC windows in our house with a modern aluminium equivalent. The process was smooth throughout and communication was clear and timely. We’re very happy with the quality of the windows and the installation service. This is the second occasion we’ve used Sheerwater Glass (the first time they replaced two Velux windows) and I would definitely use them again.

Fantastic service. Very responsive on email. They arrived promptly and fixed the window to a good standard. Shout out to Nick who was prompt, friendly and super-competent.

Been having problems opening back door for a while and it got to the point where it was so hard to open that I called Sheerwater Glass. Nick came around and sorted it so quickly. Best money spent in a while and peace of mind. Thank you. Kate

We ordered a complete set on new windows plus a new back door for a small house. The service was excellent. We obtained quotes from 3 different companies and Sheerwater's was the most detailed one. Specified very clearly the materials and specifications for the windows and what they would like would look like. When I visited their office to discuss (and get a feel for the company) their salesman, Nick was excellent. He clearly knew their products and process inside out. Answered all my questions fluently and clearly. They kept me fully informed of the process as it proceeded and were always helpful and courteous. The installer, Paul, was clearly very competent and also answered my questions clearly and patiently. And the finished product looks very good. Would definitely use them again.

Without doubt the go to people in this area for anything Window related. We had 2 new Windows installed and some repairs done to other Windows. Both separate jobs were completed with the utmost care and professionalism, with Zero mess left at all. Even after the upstairs windows were changed complete you would never have known the guys had been here all day doing it (apart from the new windows themselves !). Cannot recommend highly enough , very easy and polite to deal with on the phone, and the fitters are just excellent at what they do.

My second job with Sheerwater Glass. They provided a very reasonably priced repair for large double-pane panel that had failed, so when we decided to replace our front door, they were our first stop. After reviewing the options, having a survey and placing the order, we changed our minds on the insert panel and they were great in assisting us and getting the order updated. The door was ready within the estimated delivery timelines, and was installed in a few hours. The door is exactly what we were hoping for - but I was really impressed with the quality of the fitting which is to a much higher standard than the original door. Very happy overall and would happily recommend.

Have used this company for several years , great service, professional, competitively priced and superb finish - thank you

Fabulous service. Really pleased. We had the front door lock repaired, 2 sets of French doors realigned & the seals replaced, as well as new hinges on 2 windows & a new double glazed unit in one window. Nick was punctual, polite & did a fantastic job. All work was carried out to a very high standard & our doors look good as new. Would definitely use Sheerwater Glass again.

Nick was very professional and friendly, fixed our window in no time. Extremely happy with the result!

I booked Sheerwater Glass for an FD30 Fire Door fitting for my flat in Reading. James and Dylan were punctual and very professional throughout the day. They did a very high quality job whereas the door itself is of very high standards. I would definitely recommend.

Just had a door and window fitted and cannot fault their service from quote to installation. This is the second time we have used Sheerwater Glass. Their fitters were considerate, polite and cleaned up everywhere they worked. Will use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

We chose Sheerwater Glass after doing some due diligence before embarking on our new velux installation for our bathroom. Our neighbour had also used them and highly recommended them - which is always a good sign! From the start, Simon was patient and informative as we took some time to decide. His insight and advice was invaluable throughout. Cariss organised our installation and kept us in the loop and the whole office team were friendly and helpful at all times. Paul and Fin were great on site. Super tidy and efficient. As was Liam who followed up to plaster around our new velux - all organised in house by Sheerwater. As a team, they have made the whole process super easy, and we will definitely be returning for future projects. Thanks Sheerwater Team! Adam, Rob & Moose :)

Very efficient installation of a large window, french windows an internal door and front door. All done on time from start to finish.

Very efficient and everything ran smoothly. I was told a 10 week wait for French doors and a front door but it was even less. Very professional job, fitters arrived on time and left the job being neat and tidy. I would highly recommend them.

Nick installed 2 mirrors for us today and did a fantastic job. Highly recommended

From start to finish all the staff who helped us replace our patio door/side windows were excellent. Led by Tom who runs the office and handled our initial enquiry through to the team that designed the windows and the those who did the installation the overall experience was excellent . I would certainly highly recommend Sheerwater Glass, they have never let us down and the quality of the craftsmanship is excellent.

From the initial visit to the showroom through to the installation of the front door I cannot fault the professionalism and service I received. The installation guys cleared up after themselves and explained very clearly how the door works. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sheerwater Glass.

Great windows. Excellent service. Lovely people. Highly recommended.

Sheerwater glass have recently supplied and fitted the doors and windows for our new extension - all went exactly as planned and we are thrilled with the results! Tom worked closely with our builder to ensure everything went off without a hitch, really cant recommend him enough.

I found Sheerwater Glass to be really professional and friendly. The product was very well-made and with a smooth installation, the guys even cleaned up properly afterwards. It’s really nice to support a local, independent company rather than those huge, anonymous giants.

Highly recommend- great communication, very organised and windows look great. Very happy with them. Thanks guys!

Apart from a delay from the supplier, we had good communication, from Sheerwater Glass, good service, the windows were perfect, and polite and friendly fitters.

I have been using Sheerwater Glass for many years and the service the team provide is excellent. Kairo and Cliff did a fantastic job fitting my windows, despite the awful weather they had to endure. They left the house clean and tidy. Thank you Sheerwater Glass for another good job.

Sheerwater glass, and in particular, Ruslan were fantastic. They repaired our existing bifold door handle/locking system. The company who originally manufactured the doors no longer had any parts so it was a very tricky job. Ruslan went above and beyond in sourcing parts and fitting them in freezing, snowy conditions. Would highly recommend.

Nick from Sheerwater Glass provided a fantastic service. His ability to assess the faults and explain what needed to be done in order to fix was very professional.

Really pleased with Sheerwater Glass. Luke and Damian came out to investigate my patio doors that were been leaking (not fitted by Sheerwater Glass). They found the cause and dealt with the issue. They were friendly and efficient and explained everything as they went along, so that I knew what had been identified. Thank you both for great service. I contacted Sheerwater Glass about this because earlier in the year they had replaced all my windows and did an excellent job then, too. Would definitely recommend Sheerwater Glass to others and when the doors do need replacing, I will use them again!

Sheerwater Glass were so friendly, polite and efficient. Everyone involved in the installation were lovely.

A great service, and Nick couldn’t have been more professional or helpful. Even when things didn’t go quite to plan, they were rectified quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Sheerwater Glass.

Pleased with the service provided by Luke. He installed the missing gasket in a window and now the room is nice and cosy. Thanks

Amazing mirror splashback. It’s completely transformed my kitchen. Nick and Luke were fantastic and installed the splashback so quickly. I would highly recommend Sheerwater Glass. Christina

Sheer water came today to rehang our front door and Ruslan, the engineer, did a fantastic job. Mark the owner was very helpful throughout the process and we couldn't praise the Sheerwater team enough for all their great work

Great service for Velux windows by Nick and Sheerwater Glass

I ahve used Sheerwater Glass several times for work and have had outstanding service and excellent results each time. I recommend them to all my friends and use them myself when necessary.

I would recommend Sheerwater Glass. They recently supplied and fitted all the windows and doors for a total house renovation of my home in Surbiton. Damian the fitter was very courteous and happy to discuss any questions I asked and gave practical answers based on his experience with other customers. The few minor snagging issues which come with any project this scale were quickly addressed. The property was my original childhood home and I had requested some things like the original digits on the old door being set aside for me to keep and this was noted and actioned. Also Simon Sweet who was involved in the initial sales quotation was very responsive and understood my "vision" for the house. All the admin side of things was handled efficiently.

Great business highly recommended

Nick did a great job fitting the cat flap in our front door. Lucy cat is very happy with it too!

We have been using Sheerwater Glass for nearly twenty five years and their service has always been excellent. We had a door to be bricked up and three new windows to install. From the ever helpful Steve Smith, to Gary the builder and Damian the installer, we had great service. The installation and fitting was carried out with little mess or disruption. They may not be cheapest but you can guarantee an excellent product and first class service.

A couple of weeks ago, Sheerwater Glass came to do an installation of window shutters. The job was carried out very professionally (as always with this company). Ruslan was the technical lead and he was particular helpful with advice at the end of the job. Thanks to James and Keira for their help too. I would definitely recommend Sheerwater Glass.

Just a small job, but Luke completed it perfectly. No problem at all.

We received fantastic service from Sheerwater Glass, especially from Nicolas, Damian (Fitter), Claire and Judit (Installations), and Tom. We are delighted to recommend them for any glass work.

Nick did a fantastic job fixing our doors that we thought were unfixable. Really appreciate his friendly and professional manner.

Sheerwater Glass are professional, friendly and give excellent service. They did our job quickly and with care. I would recommend them. Thank you.

Paid £3,000 on new windows, and was told when I was first quoted that it would improve the buildup on condensation that I had on my windows (which was the primary reason I went ahead with the installation in the first place). Instead it is just as bad as it was before, in fact it has become worse. When I brought this up as part of their request for feedback, I was fobbed off and told to refer to their T&Cs. Needless to say won't be using them ever again.

Great service from start to finish. Steve Smith was excellent in helping us choose the best large window and sliding patio doors for our sitting room. Installation by Damian was excellent too and we was happy to return to make an adjustment to the door sill and to improve some minor pointing. Good communication with us throughout the whole process and very happy to recommend Sheerwater Glass.

The team at Sheerwater Glass have all been absolutely excellent and I am delighted with work carried out so far. One small key/lock problem today was dealt with most efficiently with a phone call to Tom and a lock engineer came out quickly to fix it. Now that is 5 Star Service!

Over and above service - over and above. Would not go any where else..,…

Great. Nick converted my 4 Velux roof windows to automatic, solar open / close with reflective blackout blinds. I’m delighted!

I thoroughly recommend Sheerwater Glass. Very prompt and friendly service from the office, particularly Tom. And the installation was carried out very efficiently, professionally and cheerfully with Kairo leading the team.

Very good work and came to fix as per schedule. Highly recommended.

Super efficient, friendly & high standard of work.

Excellent service from Ruslan. He fixed new rubber seal to bi-folds and stopped the main door from sticking. Brilliant!

Fantastic service, Nick was clean, polite and professional. Responsibly priced also. Thank you

Our front door wouldn’t shut properly. Nick and his colleague arrived on time and quickly and efficiently replaced the hinge but then took time to adjust the door and frame. They made sure I was happy that the door shut and locked securely before leaving.

Nick was great…. Nothing was too much of a problem for him and he worked quickly and efficiently. He gave us great information about the product.

HI I would like to thank you the team of Sheerwater Glass for doing a wonderful job from start to finish on the soffits. Steve the salesman was always very helpful when ever I rang him with a query, Tom and his office staff are most professional when speaking to them and not to forget the fitters who did a most professional job who cleared after themselves. You wouldn't even know that they had been there . Great Job Done

I used Sheerwater Glass to replace my French doors at rear of my house and was so impressed I decided to contact Tom, manager, to quote on a new front door a year later. From my initial contact through to the surveyor and later the fitting ( Kairo and Cliff) I couldn’t have been more pleased. Quality product and workmanship. Thanks also to Claire from accounts for communicating so well. Highly recommend

We had new French doors fitted on our kitchen the 2 fitters we had were amazing very professional and very clean and tidy thank you guys Enza and Steve Attwood

Very pleased with our newly fitted shower doors. Nick from Sheerwater was delightful and clearly a very competent fitter for the company - installed with precision and care. Highly recommended

Nick was very efficient and helpful. Would recommend!

Good communication, trouble free installation, tidied up afterwards

I have used Sheerwater Glass on several occasions, and every time, they have been exceptional. From my conversations with Nick, Claire, Kairo, and Tom, the service provided is outstanding—always attentive, friendly, and overall, great products and service. Thank you, everyone!

We have used Sheerwater Glass several times for repairs and maintenance on our windows and doors. They are professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Ruslan, who did the work for us, was excellent.

Second time we’ve used the company to fix our roof lantern where some panels have slipped. Ruslan was great - he was clear with what needed to be done, polite and efficient. Will definitely use them again if needed

We Would like to thank Steve,Paul,Tom and Claire from Sheerwater glass from first visit to the install of the windows, communication was great the fitting went to plan and ahead of schedule, the rooms were clean when i got home. Thankyou to your team.

Excellent service throughout the process. Engineer Nick was friendly and professional, and installed velux blinds perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Thanks to Sheerwater Glass, especially Tom Collins, for taking time and effort to provide me with a new handle for one of my double glazing units. The new unit fitted perfectly and is working well.

We contacted Sheerwater Glass as our 10 year old bifold doors were not easy to close once the sun got to them. To close them securely it was a two person job. Sheerwater Glass were booked in and came to us in Guildford within two weeks. A tradesman by the name of James arrived in good time and was diligent, helpful and a hard worker. He soon had our bifold doors closing with no problem, all done within 1.5 hours which we felt was very reasonable. We will return to Sheerwater Glass for any future issues we have with windows or doors. We were very impressed by James knowledge and expertise. Thank you to James and to all at Sheerwater Glass. Helen in Guildford.

Tom Cariss was super helpful - thanks Tom.

Replacement of window hinges done to high standard, quickly and on time. Accommodated desired tight timeframe for further window unit replacement. Highly recommend.

I was very pleased with Sheerwater Glass’ work at my property and especially Nick, who was very nice and did a great job. He was on time, very polite and did the work very fast and efficient. Thank you Nick and thank you Sheerwater Glass.

Really good service, Nick explained everything very well and was quick and helpful. Woukd definitely recommend Sheerwater Glass

Nick helped us fix a sliding door that no one has been able to fix in four years of trying! We even called in the manufacturer of the door but they said they couldn’t repair it. Highly recommend for any jobs that require care and thought!

I highly recommend this company. Tom was very helpful. I will definitely use them again.

Tom was very helpful and personable in helping me place and collect my order. i will be a returning customer.

We've just had a large sliding window repaired by Nick. He arrived on time - quickly diagnosed the fault - and fixed it straightaway. All within the very reasonable minimum call out charge. It's been very straightforward and a pleasure to deal with Sheerwater from start to finish. (Quite a contrast to the original big name manufacturer who required a payment of more than 5 times Shearwater's charge just to come and take a look for something that Nick agreed should have been dealt with as a valid warranty claim). It's great that firms like Sheerwater with exemplary customer service exist. Thanks again Nick & Sheerwater. We know where to go to in the future.

Friendly staff and most importantly they come when they say they are coming! Thanks to Nick who came and fixed our broken window. Highly recommended!

Phil and Tom were great to deal with. Also their knowledge and help with the repairs to our pictures, tray and poppy frame glass

A good price and very professional service. Fitting was super efficient and finished product is of a great quality. Kudos to Damian, Claire and Tom @ Sheerwater Glass. No hesitation in recommending this company.

Roof window fitted no problem, but product prooved to be faulty. Sheerwater recovered the situation well, where courteous and efficient. Would go to them for future work

Sheerwater glass fitted a front door for us 15 years ago the door is amazing still looks new recently we needed a new rubber seal on the door they fitted it still under warranty and free of charge. We would always use and recommend this company Charlotte & Peter Simpson

All the personnel at Sheerwater Glass were helpful, polite and were very professional in the way of advice and care to ensure the correct product was provided. The fitting went well with competent personnel and the result has meant a much more efficient and good looking windows throughout the house. I would recommend Sheerwater glass for double glazing. HJH, Ascot

James was awesome - fixed my door and very professional and friendly. Thank you

Absolutely great staff Tom was very professional checked to make sure they had what I needed in stock before I traveled to them when I got there very prompt service wrapped everything up for me and brought it to my car and helped load it as well would definitely recommend them great customer service

Nick from Sheerwater Glass measured and fitted replacement windows for my flat. He was knowledgeable and rapid at fitting the new panes. The new glazing looks great.

Excellent service from Sheerwater Glass from start to finish, especially from Steve, Damian, Tom and Claire. Very happy with the proposed design, timeframes and prices. Installation was quick and competent and communication was always top-notch! The sliding aluminium patio doors we ordered fit nicely and unobtrusivey in the space and give moden look to house. Thank you!

Sheerwater Glass has been my go to for amazing customer service price and quality product for any replacement doors and windows. They were in Woking, now moved to grander place in Guildford on a business estate. Living in Chertsey its worth the 30mins journey.Great parking and signs to find them as industrial estates are big and can seem overwhelming. Great thanks to Tom who helped me put a 6ft unit made up perfectly into my car making sure it was secure and safe. I think the reason they are still in business is because of pure 'old school' CUSTOMER SERVICE. You are spoken to and listened by a human being and treated as one. The workers know their stuff. A rare thing these days.

James. Very helpful and explained the work he carried out

Replaced our front door to lower threshold and increase light to the hallway. Very happy with the service provided and installation was completed quickly and efficiently.

James was fantastic. Very efficient and professional. He was brilliant with 2 nosey spectators ( 1and 3 years old) watching over him. He was very friendly too

My back door would not lock this morning and Sheerwater Glass went out of their way to get someone to me a few hours later. Ruslan very quickly not only fixed the back door but resolved an issue with the front door. I am so impressed by the service and I would recommend Sheerwater Glass to anyone looking for new windows or doors. Thank you Ruslan and Sheerwater Glass for a first class service.

I'm very impressed with the repair service. My windows needed new friction hinges and only Sheerwater Glass responded to my email. No job too small! Thank you Nick for getting this done :) Highly recommended.

Very happy with my new doors and windows. All the team is very helpful and professional. I fully recommend.

I recently decided to renew the four windows and front door of my flat and contacted three local companies in the Woking area for quotes. A representative of each company visited the property while I was there and I received quotes by email a few days later. I found Sheerwater Glass stood out from the other two, in that their quote was more competitive and they also made you feel from their 50 years of experience in the industry you were not going to be disappointed with their work and any problems that might arise after the installation would not be ignored by them but resolved. There was one thing in particular that impressed me about Sheerwater Glass, as we were finalising the design of the windows for manufacture we encountered a problem with one of the windows. Making it difficult to meet my expectations and the latest Building Regulations regarding the Health & Safety. I must admit that I wasn’t entirely happy with the final design of one of the windows but accepted the window had to be designed in that way because of the Building Regulations. But they didn’t stop there and presented the problem to the window manufacturer to see if there was anything that could be done and they managed to overcome the problem and agree to produce the window how I originally wanted it. So a big thank you to Nicolas Clark (Sales) in going the extra mile to please the customer. The four windows and front door were installed within a day without any problems, the installation team were polite, friendly and conducted themselves in a professional manner throughout the day. They worked hard, quickly and efficiently, removing the old windows and door for disposal and cleaned the areas they worked in after. So a big thank you to Damian & Callum for their hard work in fitting the windows and door. And not forgetting other members of staff at Sheerwater Glass I dealt with; Claire Strohacker (Administration) and Tom Collins (Showroom Manager) both providing valuable assistance throughout the process. I would just like to say at this stage that I was entirely satisfied with everything from start to finish with Sheerwater Glass and I can highly recommend their services 24 hours a day every single day. Upon moving to Merrow earlier this year, I contacted Sheerwater Glass for an estimate to replace the dilapidated wooden window of my garage. From the initial contact with George Young, Sales Advisor to the subsequent installation and fitting of the window by Paul and the follow up by Tom Collins, Showroom Manager I was very impressed with all aspects of the professional service and subsequent installation of the window and would not hesitate to recommend Sheerwater Glass.

James was very knowledgeable and fitted the glass

James did a good repair job, efficient and friendly. As always, Sheerwater were reliable

We went to Sheerwater with a leak problem in the kitchen which we were fairly certain was coming from upstairs French windows. The whole experience in replacing the windows and dealing with problems causing the leak was exceptional. About a dozen roofers and a number of windows experts later and our problem has been expertly fixed. Well done to all the staff involved with the project. .

Very impressed with quality of service and delighted with the new windows

Fantastic Accommodating and Pleasant Service from both Tom and Phil. Will be recommending them and will be using again.

Absolutely brilliant company to deal with - Seamless process from start to finish - from Nic who visited to give us a quote, to the surveyor who checked the measurements, to Damian who installed both the bespoke front door and back door. Claire (admin) followed up a small installation query and Tom who followed up to find our how the experience went, and whether we were pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend Sheerwater Glass. Highly professional, friendly, not pushy, respectful in the home when fitting.

Nick was wonderful. Quick and easy resolution of the bifold door issues.

Excellent service, fitted our Velux blind perfectly. Thanks again.

We had the best experience with Tom, Claire and the team! From Quotation to Installation, the service was excellent! The quality of the door we had installed is fantastic and I couldn't recommend the company more! We will definitely be using their services again!

Great service from all at Sheerwater Glass as always! Thanks to Tom, Constantine and Connor for their help and great to see the new showroom.

Sheerwater glass have been brilliant - Nick is very patient and seems to have given us good advice on dealing with some leaky windows and excess condensation without undertaking unnecessary works. He’s been very efficient, tidy and quick in replacing seals on a couple of velux windows for us - thanks!

Excellent experience with Sheerwater glass. Rus the fitter arrived bang on time and fixed the window exactly in the time he said. No mess either. Would highly recommend.

Nick is great. Super efficient and helpful in helping us choose the right glass & mirrors for our home. Highly recommend.

We had our windows and doors replaced last week and can't recommend Sheerwater Glass highly enough. We were so impressed with George's initial visit and detailed quote that we decided to go ahead straight away. Our installers, Stuart and son John, were excellent. They explained what was to be done each day, minimised disruption, left the house really clean each evening and considering the state of our old windows and surrounds, did a miraculous job. A great company to deal with from start to finish.

We had Velux windows which wouldn't open. Sheerwater came out quickly and diagnosed we needed a new motor. This took 3 weeks to come from Velux and was fitted a couple of weeks later. Nick came on both occasions and we were very impressed with his friendliness and efficiency. We would have no hesitation in using Sheerwater again

Fantastic service. Very friendly and professional. We are very happy with our new window.

Tom & Steve have just gone above & beyond to help us out. Our windows are 20 years old and still they have help us out. Brilliant

I contacted Sheerwater because we needed help with our Velux Windows - they needed reprogramming. Nick came round, knew exactly what to do, fixed the problem and all before he had a chance to drink his cup of tea. Excellent!

Great service from Sheerwater Glass. I found them through the good online reviews and they lived up to their reputation. They resolved various issues with our windows as well as installing a replacement skylight lantern.

Thank you Cariss & Tom for your help sorting the problem with my front door. All sorted thank you for listening & dealing with my problem. I was getting worried about getting in & out of it but all done! Amazing service 👏

We have been using Sheerwater Glass for over 30 years and are pleased with the service and products. During a recent visit to their new store in Guildford, to purchase some glass, I met with Tom Collins who was very helpful with my purchase and assisted with other enquiries.

Nick did a great job on fixing our Velux roof window. Now both windows open/close and the blinds also work. Thank you! ☺

Superb service. Efficient and friendly.

Had 2 composite doors installed by Sheerwater Glass ahead of schedule and to a high standard. The installers were clean and tidy, taking only 2/3 of a day to install both doors to our kitchen. Thanks to Simon, Claire, and Tom for making the exercise painless.

Very helpful

We've used Sheerwater before for security doors, front doors, and windows, and they've always done a fantastic job with great aftercare. This definitely deserves a 5-star review. During some emergency travel plans, our old security door (installed before Sheerwater's time) wouldn't shut properly. We needed to lock up and leave, so I called Sheerwater and Phil promptly arranged for an engineer to come out later that day, and within a few hours, the problem was fixed. The door now works perfectly. Even though it was a small job, fitting us in last minute during a hectic time made such a huge impact to us. Sheerwater's customer service is top-notch, and there's always a personal touch when dealing with Phil or anyone on the team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone else and will continue to use Sheerwater for their services! Superstars!!!

For the excellent work Nick did in measuring up and fitting secondary glazing in difficult windows this would easily be a 5. A great guy who did a great job. BUT. The company let themselves down with a poor public interface. The telephone receptionist/planner struggled with finding records, understanding customer needs, with moving the order forward, with planning the fitter's day and with keeping us in touch. I dare to suggest that deficiencies in these areas need management attention.

Excellent service fixing my velux windows. Thank you Nick

Excellent service from ordering with Carys to Nick the fitter who arrived early was very clean and tidy. Thank you Sheerwater Glass Highly recommend

Sheerwater Glass were so good, so happy I chose them. The door looks fantastic, better than I imagined. The whole process was easy and painless and done with a smile. Would definitely recommend.

Team members have been helpful, friendly and welcoming whenever I visited the showroom or phoned which was ample times as I couldn't make my mind up. They were all very accommodating and are individually delightful people. 10 out of 10 to them all.

Have traveled to the new home of Sheerwater glass. A fab service but a gent called Tom . The showroom is amazing to see, offering so much scope to what’s available

One quick phone call and a visit to my property was arranged. I wanted a new door and there were many options. The salesman suggested a way in which they could make it safer to enter and leave. The door and framework were fitted by Damian and Ruslan in a few hours with little noise. It fits perfectly and looks impressive.

Not cheap, but excellent service. Great communication from the office team. Paul and Fin, the installers, arrived exactly to time and completed the replacement of a skylight over a stairwell with minimum fuss, noise and disruption. Everything left clean and tidy. Overall, very pleased.

Nick did an excellent job replacing a stone damaged double glazed window. A difficult extraction with complex astral bars. Nick was very polite and very tidy with the work area. Left our room cleaner than when he walked in! Would definitely recommend Sheerwater Glass without hesitation. Brilliant job!

Very pleased with the advice from Tom and the repair of the window mechanism done by Ruslan. Would highly recommend Sheerwater Glass.

Nick from Sheerwater Glass is fantastic! He did an excellent job of replacing two of my windows this morning. He also kindly replaced a rotten section of beading for me. What’s more, he was so friendly and had a wonderfully positive attitude. He is a credit to Sheerwater and I will not hesitate to recommend him to others. In fact, my neighbour has already snapped him up for a quote! Many thanks for all your efforts today, Nick.

They were able to schedule an appointment that suited us within a few days, arrived at the time they said they would and the work was carried out efficiently and without any fuss. Mike was knowledgeable, friendly and went the extra mile to identify the problem. Would happily recommend to others.

Amazing work by Nick to unlock a stuck window which I thought definitely would need a new window. Nick was very quick, happy to explain as he went and fixed the problem in no time at all. He even offered to fix another broken window at the same time for no extra charge! Thank you so much!!

Beautiful showroom, Tom and nicolas really helpful

I have an old window unit that didn't open and parts are no longer available. Ruslan came to repair it and he was able change the gearbox to something that now works smoothly.

Really good experience. From showroom to installation. On time excellent workmanship, polite and friendly

Very happy with the service today. Initially we were told that our bifold needed a replacement locking mechanism and realignment. On arrival for fitting Nick identified that the old lock was fine and didn't need replacing. Sheerwater Glass have promised a refund for the labour and parts not required. I could have given 4 stars for the wrong diagnosis but I really appreciate the honesty.

Blown away by the showroom, really modern and welcoming!

Very efficient and to a high standard

Great job assessing leaks in velux-style roof windows. Clear explanation, quick and efficient workmanship to fix. Thank you, Nick.

Spoke with Tom today who was extremely helpful. He explained exactly what would happen re my cut to size mirror which is being fitted to a door panel. The attention to detail when measuring, the assistance from the team in Guildford to the help from Tom on the phone today is outstanding - and it’s costing me all of about £150. Fantastic value, quality product plus genuine customer care. Its makes it all just a lovely experience.

Really happy with a cat flap installation today. Quick, tidy and efficient.

Nick has been great, he came to assess a leaking orangery roof & went above & beyond to solve the issue rather than just saying it wasn’t fixable! He also found a broken locking mechanism on our double doors that was replaced & the doors adjusted so they closed smoothly. Really great service & would absolutely use them again if any issues arise.

This is the second time Nick came to do a glazing installation for us and I wish everyone tradesman was as great as he is - sheerwater were brilliantly helpful and efficient and nick did an excellent job and I couldn’t recommend him more!

Just had some new French Doors and a Window fitted by Dave and Danny - both very polite and professional. My dad and brother both have Dementia and they were both very considerate of that. They cleared up both inside and outside and made a point of saying goodbye to my dad. Very pleased with the job overall.
