Northern Star Stained Glass Studio

Based in Whitley Bay, Northern Star Stained Glass Studio are glaziers who bring over 25 years of experience to all types of decorative and stained glass work. Handling both domestic and commercial projects, they provide free quotes across their entire range of services, which span from single repairs on cracked leaded lights to bespoke, full stained glass vestibule commissions.

Their core craftsmanship centres on creating stained glass and leaded lights in traditional or contemporary designs, as well as the reproduction of period styles. They also specialise in the repair and refurbishment of older pieces, the triple glazing of existing stained glass into timber or uPVC windows and doors, and custom sandblasted and etched glass.

Beyond leaded and stained glass, Northern Star Stained Glass Studio work with architectural glazing including glass doors, screens and balustrades. They also provide timber windows and doors, sash windows, secondary glazing and complete replacement windows and doors, supported by a full fitting service.
