Would highly recommend steve from afterglow, he changed our boiler and shower last year, arrived on time, very pleasant and tidy workman, explained everything throughout the process, and at a very reasonable price, plus our gas bill has reduced, which is a bonus 😀 we have recently had issues with a toilet, which he has repaired swiftly, and will be having him back to replace a vanity unit in our bathroom. I can’t recommend Steve at afterglow heating enough. He took out our old boiler and the tanks in the airing cupboard and loft and installed a combi boiler and shower for us. He was absolutely amazing…very curtious, tidy and super helpful and we will certainly be using him again for any ongoing needs. He arrived exactly when he said he would and he even responded quickly to an enquiry that I had on a Sunday evening.

My Boiler is leeking called Steve left a voice messge and Steve got back quickly and came round same day. Found the fault and is going to get parts and fix. The natinal company I called wanted £99 up front and did not show up after I stayed in all day for them.

I have used Steve now for several years… my back ground is the building industry and know several plumbers… Steve is the only one I continue to use… He has done boiler servicing to minor, (though awkward), repairs… always on time, always honest and fair priced too…

Steve has done quite a bit of work for us now, most recently organising the transformation of our fireplace. We find the prices very reasonable, the work to a high quality and the after care also very good. We're slowly also replacing all the radiators in the house which we will continue to use Steve.

We have just had a new boiler and and unvented cylinder installed. From the start to finish Afterglow was brilliant. The first consultation with Steve was so helpful as he provided us with several options for our property, We agreed on the system that was best for us. On the day of installation, Steve arrived with Pete and was quickly underway. Both were so careful around the house and we were kept up to date with progress. They worked well and made sure we had facilities working at the end of the day. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and the efforts made to make sure everything was neat, tidy and secure at the end of the day. We are delighted with the work done and have no hesitation in recommending Afterglow.

Fast, friendly, efficient and sensibly priced

Steve and his team removed our old tank and fitted a new combi boiler in our forever home. The work included relocating the boiler into the loft, installing new pipework and replacing every radiator in the house. Steve estimated that the work would be completed in 5-7 days and he was finished within five. He was very friendly throughout the quoting and installation process and was professional, efficient and time conscious. My husband and I will be sure to use him for our annual services and would recommend him to everyone.

I had my old boiler, cylinder and massive outside flue removed, and a lovely new combi boiler installed with all necessary replacement piping. A few obstacles were easily overcome and dealt with and they kept me informed of everything they were doing. Steve and Mike were friendly and professional throughout the work, they are honest and hard working and I will definitely be using them again.

After informing us that we needed a new boiler he found the time to fit us in the same week to have it fitted in order for us to have heating and hot water again. Fantastic service by Steve from Afterglow. I phoned up to have my boiler serviced and I also had a fault with the boiler. Steve answered and was able to book me in the next day. He came round and was very polite and friendly. I explained the problem and Steve said he could sort the problem out within the service. He serviced my boiler and sorted the problem out and he only charged me £50 for the service. Can not recommend enough. Will be using Afterglow Heating now for all my heating and plumbing needs.
