A+R Central Heating is frequently praised for prompt boiler repairs, servicing and heating work, with customers often receiving same-day or next-day help for problems such as lost heating or hot water, leaks and faulty components. Engineers are commonly described as professional, friendly, tidy and knowledgeable, taking time to explain faults, costs and how to use or maintain the system; boiler replacements, electric boilers, thermostats and water heaters are also mentioned. Many long-standing customers value the reliable communication and ongoing service plans, although several reviews raise concerns about missed appointments, inconsistent follow-up and charges or quotes that were higher than expected.
Miles was great and sorted the boiler no problem. Helped me understand the system and picked up a few issues that needed to be resolved. 10/10 customer service and will get Miles back to fix/replace components.
Amazing service from Myles! He fixed our boiler, helped us figure out why our bills were so high and explained how the whole system works. They got someone out the very next day as we had no hot water and the prices are really reasonable. This isn’t a one-off either, we had Tony and Myles out last year and they were equally as great. A genuinely reliable company you can trust. Highly recommend!
Great and efficient experience.
Great service- quick accurate communication, efficient, clean and professional. Clearly knew what they were doing and at a reasonable price - what more can you ask for!
Superhero service! Myles swung round to our house like spiderman and made sure our boiler was safe! Brilliant people, brilliant service. A1 from A+R!
Miles was amazing! Answered all my questions and helped with our boiler
Great service from Myles. Quick and a great job.
Great job by Miles …very professional
Myles came to the property to carry out a boiler check, he was very polite, attentive and friendly. Carried out his work and was happy to answer any questions I had. Also thank you for being so great with my daughter who was very loud and excitable. Overall a fab service and Myles was such a lovely lad, a great credit to the company.
Myles came today to do a gas safety check . knowledgeable and a delight . I can recommend this company based on the high quality service and politeness along with good time keeping . 10/10 manchester
Lovely young guy. Professional polite and friendly.
Awesome service and small leaks from boiler was addressed quickly!
Fantastic service from Myles. Very friendly and professional technician who knows how to have a good chat and knows exactly what he's doing. Would highly recommend to anyone in GM.

Great service, very polite young man , credit to the business and will use again if needed.
Myles did a fantastic job fixing my boiler. Already planned ahead getting the part needed when he diagnosed it over the phone. So it was replaced in a few hours. Great service.
Great experience with A+R who have just repaired our boiler. Myles explained everything clearly, fixed it quickly and was an all round professional and great service. Thank you so much, would definitely recommend!
Came back from holiday st 4am today to a boiler that wasnt working. Called A&R at 9:30 and issue was fixed by 11:30. Price was reasonable. Very happy with the quick response from them and Myles was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

Myles was very professional & easy to speak with. Got the job done & highly recommend
Great service from Myles, fixed our issue very quickly and was extremely pleasant and helpful.
Nice professional service 👍
Tony and Myles were very helpful both over the phone and in person. Managed to assess the problem with my Aztec electric combi boiler remotely, order the relevant parts and come and fix the problem promptly. Appreciated both their work and advice on for the future on electric/heating issues, would highly recommend
Hi Tony, just to say what a wonderful young man Myles is. I believe he’s your son- you should be very proud of him he’s Professional , polite and a lovely conversationalist , he fixed the boiler and it’s up and running 🤞 it behaves itself. I believe it was another flat he had visited in the building before not ours. You came out to service ours last year. Thank you for arranging to come out so promptly- very much appreciated. Excellent service 🙏 Having no hot water and running an air b & b you promptly moved our appointment forward to help out as we had guests arriving the same day. The service from both Tony and Myles has been excellent, professional, prompt and a quick reply from my first inquiry for help. 🙏
I called A&R in the morning and explained how I had no heating or hot water and they sent someone over that afternoon. It was Myles working on it and he quickly identified the issue (a faulty expansion vessel) and clearly explained it to me which I appreciated. He managed to fix it in the interim while the part that needed replacing was ordered. The following day, I went to book in the next step and they fit me in on that day so that I would be sorted ahead of the Easter bank holiday weekend. Super super grateful for everything being done so quickly and really pleased with everything. Myles is great!
They were amazing, came same day and fixed the problem. Explained very well and polite.
5 star service. Called first thing in the morning and the engineer Tony attended in the early afternoon resolving the issue with my boiler the same day. Would highly recommend A&R Boilers to anyone in the Manchester area.
Miles is very professional and being very patient to answer all my questions regarding the boiler. Also gave me a good tutorial how to use it properly.
Quick turnaround. Came the day after I sent the enquiry. Miles came out and did the repairs to the boiler, gave us a rundown on the work completed and a walk through of the boiler timer/thermometer. Extremely friendly and professional.
Great service and good communication I recommended for clients very cheap charges full vip service
Myles did a great job repairing my boiler. Very responsive, turned up on time, and fixed the boiler quickly. Super professional and patient. Would definitely recommend.
Tony & Myles were so helpful and prompt in helping us fix a serious leak in our flat. They kept us updated with the process and were super friendly & easy to speak to. Absolute lifesavers! Thank you both of you, would highly recommend their services.
Been a customer 20 years service has just slowly deteriorated. Monthly debit gone up and i dont think its unreasonable to expect a call once a year for £300. (they seem unable to phone me to arrange an appointment.)
Myles was great. He came on time, quickly found the issue with the boiler, and fixed it without any hassle. Friendly, professional, and left everything tidy. Would definitely recommend him.
Highly recommended Myles of A&R. Prompt, efficient with an excellent manner
Great service called at 11.30am agreed to come out that afternoon rang around 1/2pm ordered part and was all fixed by 6.30pm will use again in the future x
Had a great experience. Miles was knowledgeable, took the time to explain exactly what was going on, and talked me through the options. Diagnosed the issue properly, fixed the hot water, and gave honest advice about my boiler without any hard sell. Professional, helpful, and easy to deal with – would definitely recommend.
Great service
Myles did a great job — attentive, professional, and checked everything carefully!
Asked them to give us a boiler service and report on a property we wished to purchase. Cancelled the first appointment with no notice and then serviced the boiler without even a conversation about condition etc which was the whole point of the inspection.
Miles conducted our boiler service and was very professional, on time and polite. And we received our certificates on the same day. Would definitely recommend this service
Tony arrived quick and went above and beyond for a boiler repair. Great work, fast service, highly recommend.
Tony was amazing, the service was outstanding x
Excellent service.Myles was prompt & very courteous with the annual service of my boiler. I have recommended A&R to my friends. Really pleased with the all round service the company offer
We initially had no hot water. When the technician came out the first time, the issue was not fixed. I called again, and the operator assured me that a second visit would be arranged and that I would not be charged for the first call-out since the job had not been completed properly. During the second visit, the issue was resolved, and I paid the invoice presented at that time. However, several months later I received an email claiming that I still had an outstanding balance. When I contacted the company, I was told that no such promise had been made and that the cost had supposedly been split across two invoices. I was disappointed by this response, particularly being contacted on Christmas Eve and being told that I was “misremembering” the conversation. Regardless of internal billing practices, this was not a pleasant or professional approach to customer service. While I acknowledge that I should have requested written confirmation, I expected the company to honour what was clearly communicated to me over the phone.
I highly recommend A+R Central Heating. Myles did an excellent job on my boiler, completed the work quickly and perfectly, and was very friendly.
Huge thank you to Myles for helping repair my boiler. Boiler fixed in the same day thankfully being as it's quite cold at the moment! Myles was very helpful and knowledgeable - explained his thought process as he was identifying the issue as well as explaining the cause and fix when getting the boiler up and running again. Great communication as well - prior to arrival he gave me a call twice to keep me updated when he will arrive (one for his general schedule and second when he was on his way). Definitely would recommend, 5* well deserved.
Thermostat replacement / upgrade. Two-zone. Great service, quick response. Recommend.
Friendly fast reliable definitely recommend
Couldn't have been more helpful, they really helped us when we needed them!
Great service.
My Vaillant boiler broke down. Found A&R on the ‘net after a few other firms didn’t get back to me. A&R engineer came as promised within 48hrs, identified the issue, had the spare part on the van, boiler fixed! Splendid service all round, from the first phone call to the engineer leaving. HIGHLY impressed & recommend 10/10.
Amazing training from Tony and his team very helpful very prompt whenever i had an issue he always been there too sort it out himself thank you Tony for all your help
Excellent online training program provided by master coach Tony Morgan. By far the most informative and easy to understand online training program out there.
Called to request an emergency call out for a broken boiler. On the phone was told that engineer will come and asses the fault end quote for repair. I can then decide if I want to go ahead with repair or not, no mention on any cost. I asked twice to confirm, they said yes. Engineer came within an hour, which was very good. Done few check, turned out spark needed cleaning, 5 min job. Cleaned it and boiler worked again, great. Asked him how much, he said it's nothing to do with him and I need to contact head office. Hour later head office ranger and said £180 for a call out. The price is ridiculously high, at no point anyone said it will cost that much, otherwise I would have never go ahead. I made a compliant about it, customer service admitted there were errors made on their side, I should have been told the price and received an invoice prior attendance, which I never did. Next day manager called Tony ranged me. Straight on defense, accusing me of lying and saying that they have done nothing wrong. Asked him to listen to the call, apparently they don't record calls, but that's not what previous person told me. Eventually after going back and forth he agreed to reduce the price to £120, which is way to high anyway considering what was done and what is the normal call out price (£60-80). He also voided my 30 day repair warranty. Few days later I called another engineer to book full service on the boiler. He said that online companies such as this are just a middle man/call centres. They don't employ any of the engineers, they are self employed men "on call". When they need one they call around the area and pay them fix charge ex £100 (he has done it himself). And the actual price they quote to customer is normally 2,3 times that. It would make sense as there is no prices on their website and Tony said it's because they might change any time.... To sum up do not use this company, they have good reviews but are way overpriced. Do some research and find local engineer who has his own business, you will save a lot of money and get good customer service. For them you just another number they can charge what they want.
Highly recommended. The issue with the pressure gauge was resolved without needing to replace it. All good.
Fantastic communication Thorough check of the boiler and a well explained breakdown Of the fault findings from Miles(The Engineer) Great service…. Steve
Very efficient. Found that the issue with the boiler was a new fan needed. Returned the following day to fit. The property it is located in is on the market so didn't need its annual service. Second time we've had to call them out since the house was empty. Both times job completed within 2 days.
Great service and a great price.
Quick call back, great advice over the phone and someone was soon round to fix the boiler. Everything was left neat and tidy with an explanation of what had likely happened and the actions taken to resolve. Will happily use again in the future.
Nothings but good things to say about my dealings with A+R. I was in Manchester and my Mum’s boiler broke, A+R got a lovely chap called Miles out the next day but unfortunately the boiler that was older than the engineer had heated its last radiator. A replacement boiler was ordered and fitted by another lovely chap called John, it was done within the week too. The price of the whole affair seemed to be on point with the market maybe towards the top end but you get what you pay for and other smaller and marginally cheaper companies needed weeks if not months to have the availability to get the job done! Boiler works great and overall nothing to complain about. Top job!
I made an enquiry and received a call the next morning, where I was told someone would be with us between 12:00 and 12:30. I waited in, only to call at 12:45 and be told it was actually an all day appointment. My time was completely wasted. I was then told someone would call me back the same day to rearrange, nobody did. Very poor communication and a frustrating experience.
honest and speedy, friendly man too, love the services!
I had an issue with a leak on my electric boiler and called A+R. The engineer Miles came and fixed the issue efficiently . I had to leave for an appointment and left my mother in the house while he was there and she states what a pleasant young man he was. I would definately use this company again.
Myles was great! Boiler fixed promptly.😊
Tony and the team are the best and most reliable electric boiler engineers i have had the pleasure of dealing with. Tony responds almost immediately and 100% of the i have had a problem he has fixed it . I use the service plan and repair option which is second to none in terms of value .
I've been a satisfied customer for 10 years. Reliable, prompt & friendly service from Tony & the team and good value for money.
Never showed up, didn't communicate at all, went with Bee Warm instead who were much better
Myles was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend A+R.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tony from A&R was fantastic—prompt, professional, and courteous throughout. He arrived on time, did a brilliant job with great efficiency, and offered very reasonable pricing. I’ll definitely be using his services again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work.
Mark was great he came out last minuet. He fixed the problem.. so happy . Great guy. Thank you.
Very professional 👏
Absolutely fantastic customer service from Miles today who came to fix my boiler that had no hot water working had the job done quickly and made no mess fantastic guy and great company will use again if ever needed again thank you so much. Katy
Thank you to Tony and his colleague for their hard work and technical knowledge in repairing our Ariston Cylinders limkrd to Baxi boilers. Admittedly the cylinders we’re a little old via the emersion heaters and other hardware issues with the set up. Timely. Tidy. Went out to source the right parts after finding subsequent issues. I recommend Tony and his team highly. In my view rare to find such good plumbers who took the job quickly and delivered on what they said. Good job.
Great job done by Miles. Arrived on time. Was prepared with new parts.
Great communication, fabulous service, clean and tidy engineers. Quick call out and fixed boiler and replaced water tank in 2 days. Reasonable quote ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ After a different company flooded my house through trying to fix the water tank (and I mean niagara falls over the banister and down the stairs, dripping through the ceilings) the owner of this company (Tony I think) video called me to inspect the work and provide a quote. The parts were ordered and he sent an engineer out the following day for the boiler. Following that, the office called to confirm and arrange delivery of the water tank and a time slot for the engineer to come once the parts were delivered. They arrived on time, completed the work and left my house as they found it. Polite and considerate engineers with a follow up call from the owner of the company to check the work. My first port of call next time. Thank you.
Great service from Myles today. Got straight to work and even went out to get a part and came back quickly to finish the job.
I would like to convey my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Myles; he has been exceptionally helpful, polite, friendly, and patient. I would highly recommend A+R Central Heating to anyone in need of boiler repair and maintenance services.
We highly recommend A+R Central Heating: we had a problem with our boiler leaking, Miles came very quickly to assess and fix the fault - he was very reliable, honest and friendly. Many thanks!
Had a problem with my boiler, called them ,and on the same day they came and did an excellent job and got my hot water back on. Highly recommend A+R Central Heating and I would like to thank the lady that booked the appointment just three hours after my call. Much appreciated guys👌
Very good communication and excellent work. Very quick to respond when I require their service. Nazma was very helpful in resolving my queries. I would highly recommend A+R Central Heating.
Came out within a few days to resolve an issue with my boiler. Miles quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the route to resolving it. Fixed it there and then quickly and efficiently!
Very quick and fast to resolve the boiler issue Definitely recommend
would highly recommend A+R. We had a new boiler fitted to replace the ancient one that was barely holding it together. good price. Clear, quick communication, and super efficient and friendly installer that took a day to sort and old boiler taken away. Wouldn't hesitate to get in touch with them for any other work in the future.
Myles was polite, efficient and most importantly he fixed the issue with my boiler fast so I could get on with my day.
Incredible work!!
Great service, reliable, punctual, and helpful. Thanks!
This company and their staff are absolutely reliable. If you think reliability and service quality is your priority, you must consider to choose them. My old boiler has water leak last week. They came to check quickly. This is not the first time they came to my home for boiler check and work for it. They always arrive on time (This is very important as a service provider!!! Especially for every time I need them to fix the urgent issues). My old gas boiler needed to be changed to a new electrical one. My building don't have lift, but they move the new boiler from the ground to the top floor to my home and replace them. They has then arranged a pair of electrician and plumber to come to my home for installation in the next day. They are very professional and I am so impressive to their working attitudes. I know this could be one of the difficult task they need to solve as they have to dismantling the old boiler and replacing the new one from gas system to the electrical one. But they actually did this. They worked for long hours (a whole day) and finally the installation is completed in a perfect way. They also helped to move the giant old boiler away from my apartment. All of us have checked several things and they gave me a brief induction to me on how to use the new boiler before they left. I highly appreciated their works indeed. Now, I have used the new boiler for nearly 3 days after their work. Everything goes well without any issue. They deserve to have a genuine compliment for their hard work. Excellent Services, Strong Punctuality, High Quality Works, Great Commitment. I highly recommend them!
Fantastic Communication and service.Myles was very polite.Issues I had with my boiler that had not been sorted by another plumber were sorted straight away hassle free.100% recommended 5*
Water boiler wasn't heating. I emailed A+R Central Heating on Tuesday evening and had a call within the hour. Came out today (next day) and all fixed. So prompt and efficient. Highly recommended.
Engineer was on time, polite and fixed the issue quickly. Very happy with the service.
Fixed my hot water great service thanks
Myles is a nice guy who helped us checked the boiler and changed the timer. 5/5
Quick response and service. Have used before and definitely will use again. Thanks guys
Great, responsive service from A&R. Myles was professional and polite, sorting our leaking boiler out with a new return unit. Would recommend.
Needed to get an electric boiler serviced and booked it easily over email. The engineer (Myles) was great - he called to say he was on his way, checked the hot water and central heating systems thoroughly, and showed me how to use the system efficiently for my needs. Really happy with the experience.
Myles with a 'y' arrived, did an excellent job and got my heating and hot water back on. As well as doing an excellent job he was professional, polite and smiley - important because there's nothing worse than miserable sods fixing stuff in your home. In preparation Tony (presumably also with a 'y') called me the evening before to get some boiler details so that they were clear about the model they were dealing with. I was immediately reassured that this was a professional company. My only quibble was that I wasn't warned that my original verbal quote could more than double if parts were needed since parts aren't included in the quote. I suppose I should have realised and asked the question since I already suspected a part would be needed. A part was indeed needed, the original quote leapt from £204 to over £500, my heart did an accompanying leap as I read the invoice, and I almost fell off my sofa. However, the company did an outstanding job and I would definitely use them again. Tony was kind enough to call me when he received my shocked and admittedly blunt email. Thank you Myles for an excellent job. Thank you Tony for not being arsey with me when I queried the invoice. Thank you lady who booked me a fast visit (less than 24hrs - fab!) in the first place and who's name I unfortunately didn't get.
Great job thank you
Calvin picked up at 7am and talked me through what to do with my boiler / it turned out to be a small thing but he was completely helpful and would have come out later that morning if we needed him. We were going on holiday that morning so it was a huge relief - thank you!
Very happy customer. Mills is a good and very skilled and careful engineer who helped us solve the problem and did our boiler service. Highly Recommended . Thanks mills
Job well done, Miles was prompt and professional 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Myles did a super job repairing our boiler. Very professional and friendly. Great service and communication from A&R highly responsive and fair pricing. Recommend for anyone in Manchester.
Fantastic service. Miles arrived on time serviced our boiler for a fair price and offered sound advice about how it is fairing. He also disconnected and tapped off a gas hob. Polite and tidy, I can highly recommend A & R
My electric boiler wasn’t heating up the water and I called to A+R Central Heating in the morning and Tony has been very dedicated and getting many information about what was happening with my boiler and then early afternoon his son the Engineer Myles went to my flat to fix the boiler and fixed it very quick and efficiently. Myles very professional and happy to help with everything; I super recommend this company, Tony and Myles care about their customers. Great Company, Great People.
Excellent service, Filled out the 'contact us' form on the website in the early hour of the morning, at 8am same morning I was contacted, a diagnosis was made and an appointment was secured for the same day. Engineer came at the time stated, with correct parts to fix my boiler. would highly recommend their services.
I was attended by Mr.Amir Mirza Baig who is new to boiler repairs. He drove your company’s van. The task was to replace the Honeywell 2 port valve. The guy replaced this but in the process didn’t connect the wires properly leading to no hot water. Tried to contact him the next day and he has switched off his mobile number. Disgusting person ever.
Really impressed with the service - Myles came out to service our boiler at short notice. Friendly, efficient & explained everything clearly. Would recommend AR to anyone!
Great service, got my boiler back up and running within a day after British Gas failed to find the fault over several! Big shout out to Myles as well for the great job
Myles was a charming, polite, really efficient engineer, whom we were pleased to welcome into our house.
The engineer is friendly and reply quick. And provided next day on site inspection and repair service, highly recommended.
Had my boiler serviced today by Myles, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. He’s knowledgeable, organised, and friendly—genuinely cares about his work and made sure everything was spot on before he left. Highly recommend AR for anyone.
Boiler repaired quickly and efficiently. The engineer was polite and knew his stuff - what more could you want. Thank you.
Myles came to service our boiler and was great throughout. Would recommend!
Very nice service and lots of patience for repairing boiler!!
I would recommend this company.Tony and Myles are great engineers, quick to find the fault and quick to repair. Heating is back on and we're more than happy with the service. Many thanks.
A wonderful father and son team, Tony and Myles, repaired my Fiamma combi boiler with superb efficiency and I had a very friendly time with two great workers so I can recommend them without hesitation
Absolutely fantastic service today 29/1/25 lovely chap called Ali efficient knowledgeable service would highly recommend this company for any boiler repairs and Ali the engineer that attended well done A+R boilers ♥️
The engineer took about 60 mins to repair the boiler. He got it working and will be fixing it tomorrow with a new part. So far pleased with the service its very friendly personnel.
Tony came out to my daughter's apartment after he'd already had a full day after a cold snowy weekend. He did the job that was requested (new wireless Thermostat) and eliminated the problem that was causing her boiler to cut out and did a temporary fix to prevent this happening and now awaiting a revisit. I would recommend Tony and A + R Boilers, reception staff pleasant to deal with every time we called.
Brilliant service
Job done within 24 hours of asking. Repair to a leak on the piping under the Boiler and a full annual service. Great work and very friendly to. Would recommend them to anybody. Thanks

Very experienced & professional with great service, Many thanks
Great service and very knowledgeable.
Water escaping from a radiator on a Saturday evening but Tony came to our rescue . Under his instruction we isolated the radiator until it could be repaired. We’ve been with A&R for many years and always been delighted with the service.
Can only say it is very worthy of my 5 ⭐ review Tony rang to discuss the problem, sent Miles to do the repair and for a very pleasant and polite young man he was very knowledgeable Identified the problem, sorted it Couldn't be more happy to have my hot water back Well done 👍
Quick and easy call out. Sorted problem and kept us informed throughout. Thoroughly recommend.
Tony was great. Sorted the boiler and clearly explained what was wrong with my fireplace and what was needed to get it sorted.
Tony and Miles came to the site today after contacting A+R Central Heating yesterday afternoon, great service, they had the boiler up and running in no time, highly recommend and will use again!
Very efficient service. Tony rung me within 15 mins of making the appointment, to gather as much detail as possible about the job. Great service from both Miles and Tony in identifying the issues with our boiler and helping to fix them and advise on next steps.
Great service. Quick to turn out and deal with our electric boiler.
Very professional, friendly and helpful advice. Thank you!
My boiler was on the fritz. I told them what was wrong with it, the make and model and they knew the problem without coming to look at it. They got it fixed the next day very quickly with no issues.
Tony from A+R came round recently and fixed the problem with out electric boiler, diagnosing what the issue was in minutes. Brilliant service from start to finish and would highly recommend contacting them for all plumbing and heating concerns.
Miles was pleasant, a tidy worker and hardworking. He didn't give up until the issues with my boiler were sorted. Boiler serviced, hot water all the time now instead of intermittent and radiators now not coming on when hot water run for a while. Would absolutely recommend this company.
Tony is very professional and a great person. Our boiler is already on a 7th year contract.
Excellent service very helpful
Great friendly service, sorted all the problems with our boiler and was really competitive on price. We’ll definitely use them again
Tony and Miles did a brilliant job getting my hot water supply and central heating up and running. I can’t thank them enough. I’d highly recommend them as a company but they’re also genuinely nice people in their own right.
Excellent service all around! I had a water tank fall off the wall creating multiple leaks. I called up and was put through to Tony. I sent a few pictures of the issue and Tony got back to me with a plan of action and a good quote. Tony sent Ali to complete the task. He was very polite, talked me through the job and did excellent work to a high standard. I would 100% recommend A+R central heating!
Tony and the team went above and beyond. I have quite an old boiler which had a leak in a copper pipe, very upfront saying that it will be a difficult repair and would need the whole system draining. Took the entire system to bits to get at this pipe, soldered up the join and put in a new pump. It definitely cost a bit but it was a lot of labour, and cheaper than a whole new boiler
Excellent efficent service, would definitely recommend 👌
Speedy response time, got the boiler working again quickly and provided a friendly service. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻
Miles & Amir were excellent.
Great service from the ladies in the office. Sarah, Rachel and Naz, couldn’t have been any nicer or efficient. They gave me a 2 hour window as I was travelling up from London and everything went swimmingly. The plumbers called before, arrived on time, fixed the boiler. Really nice guys but I didn’t catch their names. Would highly recommend this company, so used to getting ‘computer says no’ approach from others, but it was great to have the human touch.
I've had Myles and Mirza to my fix electric boiler today. Very polite, courteous and knowledgeable. I'm so happy with the service provided and would highly recommend them and the company. I would just like to add my boiler is a very old type (a big lump) and neither of them were fazed by the job. Thanks again lads 👍
Myles and Mirza came today to fix my electric combi boiler. They were fantastic! Extremely polite, friendly and efficient. If ever there is an issue with the boiler, I would have them back for sure.
Quick and excellent service, Tony was very helpful in sorting out our Boiler.
Great Service
Great service as always professional and helpful. Thanks Tony for all your help and support.
A professional job performed by nice people ! Thank you !
Although I live in Dagenham very far from Manchester where they are based the help I received on the phone putting me in the right direction was terrific and I would recommend them as they dealt with me in a professional manner
A+R team did job professionally.Would recommend.
A+R boilers booking service is excellent. Tony and his assistant Miles arrived on schedule. He tackled my boiler’s problem with precision and care. Taught me through how to use the storage electric boiler effectively and I don’t need to waste money on bill. I’m grateful for their expertise and would highly recommend their services.
Nice lads very efficient very polite thank you
Tony was courteous and professional from the very start of servicing my boiler. Excellent service and efficient. A very knowledgeable professional and kept me informed with every step. It was good to see developing the next generation if engineers - Miles who did the work supervised by Tony. Booking was easy and very friendly. Especially after having to rebook. Needed the boiler fixing asap as no heating coming from the radiator for the past couple of days. Quick response from A+R Central Heating, managed to come the next morning to look, fix and complete a boiler service. Highly recommend them.
The whole team were great. Tony was willing to try to fix the boiler despite a heat blast melting a lot of the interior. Unfortunately, the heat had warped it so badly that noxious fumes leaked when he put the boiler on. Even so, they got a new boiler fitted 3 days after Christmas. Isaac and his colleague(didnt get his name)were efficient and caused minimum disruption. The company charged only for the new installation, and absorbed the cost of the repair that didn't work. Great experience, despite noone wanting to have a failed boiler at Christmas.
Tony and his apprentice came out today after I was let down by another company on Christmas Eve after my boiler broke a week ago. Thank you so much for your quick, professional service. I will always recommend you to anyone in future, I’ll be booking in a full service with you now, and every year too. So pleased to get the house warm and have a bath tonight Really cannot thank you enough times for getting straight out today
Mark is great guy, came around late at night to fix the boiler. He fixed the problem, happy days. Thanks Mark.

It's never a good day when your boiler goes, thankfully A+R responded quickly and Mark came out the next morning. He made a real effort to be as transparent as possible, he talked me through the fault, demonstrated what was wrong and even encouraged me to research online. It's a large, safety critical repair and an older boiler so I asked them to provide pricing for repair and new installation which they were happy to do.
they came to my place to sort the boiler out fixed it a week later broke down av had them out again they fix it an keeps doin same thing keeps brakin down an the funny thiing is they changed 2 parts by now they sayin it needs 2 more parts stay way from this guys they dont know wa they doin or maby they do just tryin to rip u off cos its 180 pound for no reason they come fix it to last few days breaks again would ov been cheaper gettin another boiler😡😡

Brilliant service from Mark & Miles today. Attended same day for a boiler service & repair, talked me through everything they did, and showed me how to alter the pressure myself in future. Highly recommend
Came same day to fix my boiler and did so very quickly. Professional service
Tony & Miles drove out from Manchester to North Wales to fix my boiler! Wonderful men & so professional. The work was not quick or easy but they stayed so calm and saw the job through to the end. I'm so grateful for their patience and perseverance. I can't fault their work at all - so pleased!

My extremely old Vaillant combi boiler (Vaillant VCW / VC) which apparently is one of the most complex ancient boilers to repair stopped providing hot water. I contacted A&R and the amazing duo of Tony and Myles arrived at my house on time as agreed and even called me before arriving. I was fully expecting to shell out thousands for a new replacement boiler but after working their magic the boiler is back from the dead. I am extremely happy with their professionalism and expertise. I cannot recommend them highly enough, 5 stars.
My son recommended and I’ve been very pleased with their work

Mark came the day I reported an elderly relative had no hot water. He ordered and fitted the parts quickly. It was great to find an engineer who was familiar with the electric boiler and who did a great job. I’ve now taken out a service contract with A&R for future repairs and servicing.
Mark is Very professional Highly recommend him!
Contacted A and R for a call out due CH not working correctly [Amptec Electric Boiler] . Their response was very swift and the engineer (Mark) very quickly got to work, after various tests diagnosed that the system was air-locked which he systematically bled and the pump requires replacing. Great to see an experienced engineer accurately troubleshooting and keen to get it fixed. Just waiting on the pump replacement now will update this review once fully complete but so far VERY impressed!
Great service
My landlord arranged an A+R engineer to fix our water cylinder (immersion heater). The fuse switch tripped and cylinder wouldn't turn on, an A+R engineer (Mark) came out to replace the power switch. Was working for a few days but then the cylinder wouldn't fully heat up. Had another engineer (Tony) come to replace the thermostat. I cannot comment on the cost (nor on Mark as my flatmate was in instead of me at that time), but Tony replaced the thermostat in 20mins and was very friendly. He called to inform me he would be coming in around an hour and again later to say he was nearly there. Much appreciated. I dealt with Tony over the phone at the very beginning when the fuse switch tripped and when I said that my landlord would get back via email with pictures and schedule a date/time etc., he rang back later in the day saying he had not received an email. (It was actually sent though might have just been missed, but) I appreciate him following up on the issue and telling me he was still expecting an email. My landlord has been dealing with A+R boilers exclusively via email and I believe they are sending prompt replies considering how quickly they have arranged engineers to come out (within 1-2 days).
Miles and his colleague were great. Very professional and efficient and diagnosed the problem quickly.
Mark was great. Came on short notice, diagnosed and repaired water heater quickly. 👍
Great and quality service!
myles and tony came out for the first time to fix my boiler they did a fantastic job, showed me how to work the boiler and also helped me get my hot water back they truly deserve recognition

Good experience with this company. Our boiler went the night before, we rang them first thing the next day and the engineers arrived within a few hours with the parts needed. Can't fault Mark and Miles on their professionalism and friendliness. Mark was obviously training Miles up which was nice to see, and I felt at ease with both of them. The level of knowledge and expertise was excellent and the job was completed quickly. Had a small discrepancy on the price some of the parts needed which I had to address but this was very minor. The service from start to finish was fantastic. I would recommend. Thank you
Mark was great, arrived promptly and at short notice. He was knowledgeable and explained everything to me as well as making me aware of things to keep an eye on! Will definitely use again (but hopefully not for a while!)

Great service, fast response, professional and comprehensive diagnosis of the issues and a plan for remediation. The administration support team in the background are great as well, often with companies like this customer service, scheduling, invoicing etc can be problematic but that is not the case here. More than happy to recommend.
I recently had an issue with my boiler, and I was let down by my insurance's engineer, who had told me that it would be an expensive job. However, I decided to call A+R Central Heating, and I am glad I did. They sent Mark to help, and he was a true professional. Fixed my boiler no issue. Didn't have the part but came next day to sort it with said part. Very polite and professional people. Would use again. The missing star is due to feeling like they were abit pushy on me leaving a Google review even when I said I would. But the actual servicing was great.

I have put 1* as the survey won't let me leave nothing. I've just tried to call A & R with an emergency as the heating system has sprung a leak from the boiler. Even though I'm a contracted customer, they don't come out at the weekend!!!!! we have an older person living with us who has a heart problem. The "Engineer" really wasn't interested and told me I had to wait until Monday to get an appointment!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great service from start to finish. I have a Vaillant boiler and the heating wasn’t working, Mark came out and detected the issue straight away. The diverter valve needed replacing and Mark checked that I was ok with the price/ work to be carried out before ordering the part. Once confirmed, he went to collect the part, returned and fixed the boiler, all within a hour. After fixing the boiler, Mark kindly checked a few of the radiators that I had issues with. Also, long after he left, I had a glitch with my thermostat, I contacted Mark and he talked me through how to resolve the issue over the phone. He answered all of my many questions. Top guy, very efficient and genuine. Like many others, I also spoke to Andrea who was polite and friendly, no surprises when invoice came through as expectation was managed. Have already recommended to friends and family. Thank you :)

Mark did a fantastic job, although the problem was not the most common one, he went above and beyond to sort it out. Many thanks 👍🏻
I'm extremely grateful to Mark who came out to diagnose and repair my overheating electric boiler. No joke, an accidental fire started in my kitchen, with flames and black smoke looking to spread. Hearing my shout, Mark came to the kitchen, asking me to get out, went and turned the main switch in the consumer unit off, opened all the windows and doors, and started to tackle the fire himself...his quick thinking and action prevented a disaster. I honestly don't know what would have happen if Mark didn't happen to be there on the day. He is a hero and performed above and beyond his duties. He then returned after a few days to finish the diagnose and ordered the failing sensor, and returned again with Tony to finish the job. My boiler is up and running again and I'm a more than just a happy customer. Well done A+R Central Heating for having an excellent team, and for the wonderful customer care throughout.
Really responsive service when our boiler was playing up. The engineer, Mark, was professional and performed the work to a high standard.
Mark came on time and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was also very honest.
Great service. Mark was professional and ultimately saved us money. Highly recommended 👍
Boiler probs and no hot water I tried to reset/restart boiler to no avail so called A&R boilers who sent Mark out within a few hours - he called before arrival letting us know he was on route and found a part had gone so had to order a new one. He managed to source a part (they had 1 left ) so he drove straight over to get it and fit it the same day. This was no small job either as we have an old Worcester boiler which is in a cupboard under the stairs in a confined space which didn’t give him much room for manoeuvre but he managed it. He also found a pipe had a crack in it so picked up the part the following morning and had that fixed quickly. Job well done so big thanks to Mark and A&R
Tony and Mark identified issue and fixed it within an hour .. Really pleased . Great service and value.
Great experience with this company! Not only did they come out the same day when our boiler broke down, but they then returned a week later after we were still having issues. Mark was especially thorough, waiting around to observe the boiler and check it was working on his second visit. His communication was great and he even fit us in on the same day even though our booking was for the following day. Can’t recommend Mark and A+R enough! Would definitely use again.
Mark arrived on time as arranged, found fault and collected replacement spare part. fixed boiler within a couple of hours. Quality work and at quoted price.
All great, the guys came and sorted a persistent problem that’s been causing issues for 2 years.
Mark did a great job installing my thermostat great service
Mark came out twice and was able to resolve the issues we had fully on the second visit. He explained to me how it all worked, what he was doing and what exactly he thought was wrong. Quick, efficient worker and nice guy. Reflects well on A+R. Recommended!
Mark did a great job getting me back up and running. Great job!
Excellent service. The support team and engineer so helpful and travelled from Mch to Yorkshire to fix my electric boiler. Would absolutely recommend AR Boilers.
Mark was exceptionally professional and personable. He explained everything he was doing and was thorough and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
Mark did a great job on our Viessmann boiler. We needed an emergency call out as our hot water stopped working, a nightmare as we just got home with our newborn. Arrived within 2 hrs of our call, he diagnosed the problem quickly, talked me through it at every point and gave me a few tips to boot. Would definitely use the service again and I’d ask for Mark!
Mark was really good . He fixed my boiler without any problems
Great service, worked hard to complete in one day. Stayed until 9pm to get the job done. Would definitely recommend!
Phoned this morning regarding no heating and hot water, the receptionist was so helpful, we had our boiler fixed the same day! Tony was brilliant very friendly and efficient. We can ow put our radiators back on 😀
Had boiler installed with minimal delay had a few issues with it leaking and knocking so engineers came back a few times prompt and call centre proactive. Overall boiler has good energy rating. If hot taps on in kitchen it will affect shower though.
A+R were very responsive and thorough.
My hot water was not working and needed someone to look at my boiler. A+R came out the same day and fixed the problem without any issues. Great service and very good prices. I can't praise them enough. Wonderful company coming to my rescue.
Very professional. First group of engineers that was called messed it up, they came and fixed the problem. Explain everything thoroughly. Happy about everything as the leakage would’ve got worse and dangerous.
Good service, fixed quickly and efficiently... but beware it is very expensive. I was quoted £220 for repairs with parts, so I was unprepared for the bill of £417.60 (£150 labour plus VAT for half an hour max, £198 plus VAT for new fan).
A+R Boilers serviced my boiler and with there advice will save me a slot off my future energy bills
Booked in for a boiler warranty service. Engineer was very good and knowledgeable. Staff on the phone were also very good. Will use them again.
Mark arrived promptly, was polite and efficient, and quickly got our boiler working. We would definitely use you again, thank you.
Many thanks to Mark, who has been very professional and prompt in fixing my heating system. highly recommended
The engineer was punctual, personable, clean and tidy. Excellent service, highly recommended.
great service very satisfied with service
EXTREMELY PRICEY!!! Compared to other companies I used, just paid £180 for a call out charge They also quoted £2,100 to buy and fit a new boiler I rang up another company they are charging £1,250 Almost a grand difference It would have been understandable if it was £100-£200 difference but not a £1000 difference!! My regular guy his mum passed away that’s the reason I contacted these guys - I have few property’s and always use companies now and then but the prices this company quotes it’s just TOOOO much!!
Tony and Miles were very professional and helpful when my boiler needed fixing. Took a lot of the stress out.
Tony was very helpful and friendly and worked late to get the job done.
Have used the company twice and on both occasions Tony has done a great job. On time and within the estimate. Thank you
Tony was very polite and diagnosed the problem swiftly with my heating. Very professional service all around
Very good customer service following a leak with our gas boiler. After ringing around several other plumbers that did not respond to mobile phone calls (one did call back the following day to say send a text message) I got through to A+R Central Heating & Boiler Repairs and they sent an engineer round the same day. He did not have the correct part to fix the boiler but came back the following day and carried out the repair. I was kept fully informed by email of when the engineer would visit.
After contacting 15 other companies A+R arranged for Mark to fix my electric combi boiler, Mark came as agreed, had a difficult job but he did a great job fixing my boiler with awesome results. I can't thank you enough.
efficient and friendly boiler service from Mark.
Mark was professional and called ahead of time. He kept me briefed on what was going on throughout the call and resolved the issue in good time
Have used this company a year ago to repair a Gledhill Boilermate. They were success where 3 other companies had failed. Few companies will touch Gledhill Boilermate. The Boilermate stopped working again (a year later) due to a different fault. They came out reasonably quickly, had the part and repaired it. The repair wasn’t cheap but was what I expected for a new circuit board, clock repair and labour charge.
Great service, on point and honest.
Mark was sound from the start, he knew exactly what the problem was, and was straight forward , he fixed the problem with in 30 mins, Thanks mark
Mark was very professional and helpful with any questions I had.
Great service
After a combination of no shows, bad advice and people who didn’t know what to do I approached A+R due to the good reviews and I’m very glad I did. The combination of on the ball administration that co-ordinates and keeps you informed (Andrea), the site visit/planning (Tony) and the installation (Dave) were flawless. The old tank/rubbish was even collected during the installation. Excellent service, just what I needed and would certainly recommend. Thanks again James
Mark did an amazing job fixing our boiler, quick and professional work! Will definitely be calling this company for any future issues with our heating! 5 stars!
At short notice the company not only arranged a quick appointment for the repair, much more timely than bigger companies (I'm looking at you British Gas!) but they were also courteous, professional and very tidy, all for a very good price. In summary, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Called out this company today and they repaired our boiler on the first visit. Brilliant service, brilliant response what can I say.
Absolute life saver, fixed my boiler when I otherwise thought it was beyond repair, would definitely recommend. Kept me informed throughout.
Very friendly and helpful, fixed our heating for us in no time! Would recommend
Not so sure about 5 Star boiler service more 5 week service, the time it took to fix it.
Mark was very friendly and gave me great advise ...really pleased with his service ..will definitely use this company again
Initially seemed quite good, came out quickly and what I thought repaired our boiler. Before the guy left my house, I felt a bit pressured into doing a 5 star review on here but as I thought the issue was resolved, I thought ok no problem. 2 weeks later I had further issues and called another company due to A&R not responding to me. When fixing the boiler, they either damaged the seal or hadn’t noticed the seal was damaged which led to a completely new boiler.
Excellent work by Mark, will use again.
Great service from Tony. The engineer who ordered the parts was here for 2 hours and didn't really know what was wrong with my boiler. Straight away, Tony figured out what the issue was (the boiler had overheated cause I'd turned all but 1 of my radiators off). He also told me my thermostat wasn't broken, when the previous engineer had. Same company, 2 different experiences. Thanks Tony for saving the day! :)
Fast and very professional service
Too expensive and was trying to sell expensive repair when only needed servicing of my boiler.
Friendly efficient, effective people
Lovely Christmas jumper very pleasant lovely person would recommend thanks tony
The guys came to sort my boiler so,I could move into my new house very responsive very professional and the job was done in no time at all thanks guys.
I would highly recommend, great service, professional and friendly staff
Tony is a very true master engineer! He fixed my electric boiler very professionally and I’m really appreciate! 100% recommend him!!!
Mark went above and beyond to help us. Stayed way pat his finishing time to try and sort out heating in early December. He's good bloke, tidy, and just wants to finish the job. Thank you to mark we have heating this evening. Would recommend him to friends and family.
I didn't use them
Great service
Tony from A+R came out very quickly, completed the job without any bother. Would highly recommend
Fantastic friendly and professional service. Tony turned up as expected and repaired the boiler quickly. He managed to diagnose the issue from a video I had sent him prior to him coming out which made for a speedy service and I knew a rough cost for the work before he even arrived. Would highly recommend.
Called the office as my boiler was making a loud noise and woke me up at 5am so had to turn off. Tony said he’d get out to me today and kept me updated throughout on ETA. He found the issue within 20 mins and had the part to fix there and then, only a few hours without heating which is amazing - super friendly and professional, will definitely be using again!
Fast Efficient and friendly service. Came and did a job others were unwilling to do. Also fixed another issue at the same time. I definitely recommend these guys.
Matt was great and quickly serviced and fixed my combi and gave me some advice on what to expect put of it in the future! Very grateful.
Mark has been twice to my place and each time called in advance to let me know he was on his way. He was punctual, informative and business-like. He got to the heart of the issues quickly and advised me on possible ways to move forward. I recommend the company to diagnose problems.
mark came In to repair my boiler. He fixed my boiler real quick and even stayed a little longer to check it was properly fixed. I would definitely use these again.
My hero top job thank you 😊
Great cutomer service, very nice professional engineer, short time to solve the problem. Five star
I would just like to thank Tony for his help fixing our Biasi boiler. He was very knowledgeable, thorough and helped enormously by diagnosing and fixing the problem. His service was fantastic, and the work of the team at A and R was very professional. I appreciate that quick and prompt emergency service comes at a premium, but for me it was a price worth paying.
Mark did a great njob. Came back home to no hot water or heatjng and even with a old boiler he had it back up and working in an hour!
Thanks to engineer Mark. For his patience and determination to get my 90 year old mothers central heating repaired. Much appreciated
Excellent response times and services. We had an error code (f.28) flashing, Tony attended and sorted it out very quickly. We’re very glad to have heating and hot water again!
Tony was brilliant! fixed within the hour. Highly Recommended.
My combi boiler was flashing an error code and wasn’t responding to the reset button. Called A&R’s office to leave a message, and Tony rang me back very quickly. He knew what the error code meant and said he’d make sure to bring a new PCB when he came later this afternoon. Both Tony and his son, Miles, were very friendly yet polite and professional. I *loved* the fact that Tony recorded his work with his mobile as training videos - great idea! They completed the job very efficiently and put everything back in my under-the-stairs cupboard where the boiler is. I’m a very happy customer and would definitely recommend A&R Boilers. Thanks!
Mark fixed the problem with high efficiency
Mark was a very good engineer, very clean and professional
No water for 4 days, called up A R Boilers and they got straight on the job. They had the parts in the van and fixed things first visit. Great service overall and friendly staff. Would recommend!
The engineer, Mark, arrived on time. He was extremely efficient and helpful ( the boiler system was new to me). I am very grateful.
Tony came on time, was very polite, found the fault quickly and also told us our gas meter needed replacing…all very professional, so Thanks and I would definitely recommend, great service.
Mark was the engineer. Brilliant service completely on time and efficient

Nice friendly service, kept well informed and in contact throughout the boiler repair. Thankyou!
Contacted for heater maintainance work. They did an excellent service on time. Highly qualified staff. Highly recomended.
Had a boiler issue which was identified and fixed quickly, the only delay was from parts not being easily available for a dated heating system. All the work carried out by Mark ad qucik and professional, happy with the result.
Mark repaired our electric water heater quickly and efficiently, and was professional throughout
Fast response, fixed the hot water after 2 hours, Mark did a good job, Tony even better to come after to make the central heating working again
Mark attended within advertised 24h and fixed our gas boiler. Very informative and professional. I will use them again.
Great service, also did a video for staff , fabulous
Our boiler broke down and most companies said it was so old it would have to be replaced. Mark came from A&R same day and managed to fix it within an hour, top quality service!
Complete pleasure meeting Tony, speedy and professional service. Fixed my boiler issue and I am over the moon
Tony and mate was brilliant at servicing my 12month boiler. Any questions Tony answered. They cleaned up after them selves and put things back for me.
Friendly, professional, courteous and left everything clean and tidy. Also took the time to answer any questions we had about what needed doing and were really knowledgable. Thank you
Great service well taken care of, used for years always prompt. Thanks guys truly masterful engineers
Found on google, noticed on the reviews that they stated they had masterful engineers. Lived up to the name, job all done, great service, all sorted on the day, Would recommend!

I had no hot water, I looked on google and I found a r boilers. These guys claimed that they were masterful engineers, after receiving their service, I agree. They were fast, efficient and pleasant.
Great job keeping a hot water boiler serviced. Communication is super-friendly, always responsive and the service is exceptional. Recommended!
Totally professional services, would highly recommend.
Used them twice now, prompt efficient service. Came out within a few hrs of calling, repaired same day. Our operative was Tony
Had Tony and colleague come today for our boiler that had entirely shut off… he was here within hours of the first call, did some re-wiring work and fortunately it works again as new! Thank you! I can now have a shower :)
Good communications and service. Took several visits as there were difficulties with the Gledhill hot water system but they worked through them and got it up and running eventually.
Excellent service. Prompt and very helpful. Very courteous. Tony was extremely professional- masterful engineer. Highly recommend their service
Great service, called before arrival, Tony was very friendly and efficient, fixed my boiler and had all the parts ready in the van. Would recommend.
Attending engineer came next day with replacement part. Heat exchanger swapped out quickly and friendly chap. Would use them again.
Our boiler went a bit crazy in the night and sounded like it was about to explode. Tried phoning them but lines are closed at that time of night. Took a while in the morning to get hold of them but when we finally did they came out and sorted it pretty rapid for us. No fuss, no muss. Good service, a little slow at answering phones, it all balances out I guess
Very happy with Mark the engineer as he did a brilliant job, last time my boiler stopped working I used a different company and they were rubbish but this engineer was much more knowledgeable. Although my boiler needed a new part that he did not have as my boiler is over 20 years old he managed to get one the same day and came back to fix the boiler and its working beautifully now. He was polite and wore a facemask all through his visit, so felt very safe. Also the cost was reasonable and less than I thought it would be. I would be happy to use them again as a new boiler is definitely on the cards in he near future
Tony really nice and did a great job , would use again 😁
Within 24hrs from the initial call to A&R we had Marius turn up to fix our leaking boiler. Marius was excellent! Great personality, very knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was doing. Needed a new Vaillant diverter valve and it was sourced and picked up by Marius all within an hour of turning up. Had my boiler fixed with a new part and we have hot water and heating! Will be recommending Marius and A&R to family and friends. Thanks for the great work! - Abrar
We had an issue with our boiler where the radiators were always on. AR boilers diagnosed the issue promptly and fixed it promptly. Would use them again
Called in time of need. Whilst the guy was helpful on phone and tried to help, I received an unprofessional text after accusing me of trying to get a freebie and that I best leave a good review on their Google.
We had booked a service with this company and Mark was the representative who came to check our boiler... Very professional and good service also helped us with fixing the radiator on request. Very pleased with his work.
Mark has done a wonderful job fixing my boiler, he was friendly and professional.
Great communication from the company, engineer turned up exactly when they said he would. He was tidy and efficient. Tony was an absolute star! Highly recommend. Thank you.
Quicker and very reliable service, great customer service 👍
Mark came out today to repair my boiler in Old Trafford. He was polite, his service was fantastic. He was able to get the job completed quickly and I couldn't be happier with the service - minimum hassle and quick turnaround from the breakdown to the resolution. Tony and the ladies at customer service were very helpful also. They answered all my questions kept me in the loop and made sure I got sorted after hours even though I had to reschedule. For anyone reading reviews like I did. Just go ahead and give A+R a shout. Personally, i'll be using them going forward! - Pete
Had a problem with my boiler leaking and my hot water not working. Mark came out to have a look the same day. He identified and explained the issue to me, answered questions I had, and was able to fix it there and then. Very friendly and helpful.
Great service! Responsive even on a bank holiday and flexible when rearrangements were required. The lads were friendly from the off and the issue was quickly resolved. Would recommend if you find yourself in need.
A really helpful, friendly, well organised team who visited and diagnosed the problem with our boiler swiftly, ordered the part needed, were back the next day and fixed everything quickly.
Mark did a great job, on time and was really helpful. Definitely recommended
Very responsive and professional company. Excellent service and repairs from Mark to fix our issue - and on a Saturday as well. Very impressed! Great work. Thanks.
They cancelled an appointment on the day they were originally booked, I had to keep calling to arrange another appointment. The engineer got lost, blamed his sat nav and was 45 mins late. Same engineer had to come back again few days later and knocking on a house 4 doors away. Didn't honour quoted price and increased the part by £60, blaming a new staff member. I checked with the manufacturer and it was still the original price. I asked to speak with the manager and I was told they won't be going ahead with the job. I sent a polite email to the manager and he never responded. Found a much better company based in Stockport who were great and charged less too!
Contacted A+R regarding a boiler repair. Tony was the engineer sent to assist with the repairs. Even before the engineer attended the property, he contacted me asking about the issue and model of the boiler. This is something I like to see as it means they want to get the job done quickly and not muck around. Tony was very friendly and provided a very professional service. The problem was identified in no time and the part for the repair was ordered and installed the next day. Tony and A+R kept me well informed throughout the repair and also emailed me the repair quote before hand. So no surprises when it comes to the final bill. I will definitely recommend A+R and I personally will be keeping Tony's contact in my phonebook for any future repairs I might need.

I have joined coach Tony Morgan to get my portfolio done and he amazing! I have never seen a gas engineer have the same mind set as Tony. Enjoyed the jobs that we have done together. looking forward to get qualified and try to join his team. Thanks Tony
Fantastic Service. Boiler broke down on Saturday night. On Sunday I contacted British Gas Homeserve who I have had a contract with for many years. They could only offer to come and fix the boiler at the beginning of March - 3 weeks away. I had also been told by them previously that the cause of the breakdown, a known fault - a worn bearing in the fan - could only be fixed temporarily by 'greasing it up' since they could not get the part which was obsolete and that I would soon need to replace the boiler. I contacted A+R on Sunday. An engineer, Marius, arrived on Monday morning. He agreed that the fan was the problem. He then sourced a new fan at a supplier in Bury, 20 miles away, drove there, returned and replaced it in the boiler. we then discussed whether I should soon need to replace the boiler in the near future, since it is about 20 years old. I was reluctant to do so due to logistical reasons of repositioning. He advised that the boiler seemed fine and there should be no immediate need for replacement. The boiler is now fine and working better than ever, since the previous botched job was affecting the efficiency. Fantastic service. I would be happy to recommend A-R to anyone with boiler problems. Marius, the engineer, was friendly, helpful and courteous at all times and careful to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions. Andrea, at A+R,s office, was also friendly and helpful in handling payment by card over the phone.
Mark was professional and friendly when dealing with our boiler problem. Would definately recommend A & R if you have any isdues eith your heating.
Tony came out and repaired my boiler quickly. Great service !
Top quality from start to finish. Tony came, Tony Saw and Tony conquered. From 24 hours after making the initial call, Tony was at the boiler making it as good as new and thoroughly tested afterwards. Can't thank these guys enough for the quick, professional turn-around. Just wanted to thank A+R Central Heating & Boiler Repair Experts Ltd for the Boiler repair completed. An emergency repair request booked in at short notice and job completed.. Which was appreciated. The engineer advised and explained what the problem was...completed the repairs needed and was professional in his overall approach also following COVID 19 guidance required whilst completing the Boiler repairs ...big thanks ...nice warm house again.

Great service, fixed immediately. Tony is a really nice and profesional person.
Great service would highly recommend!
Very rapid response and professional service. I would recommend.
Excellent service! Quick to come out
Called and the engineer arrived on the same day. Gave an honest appraisal of the problem and offered different options. 2 days later once the parts had arrived, Tony the engineer was back and the boiler repaired. Brilliant service from both the office and Tony, all on New Year's Eve as well. Would highly recommend.
Quick at getting someone out to look at the problem, didn't exactly fix all the issues I had but kept the boiler going upto my replacement. Staff were friendly and helpful. (I would however query the draining of the boiler via the prv as that seemed to cause water to feed back into my inner wall due to the excess flow as it came loose and subsequently had dripping downstairs in the window, the prv also remained semi loose and pressure dropped constantly after a few days) warning to people to get your boiler checked out regularly and make sure things are installed properly.
Very good service by Tony and his colleague. Highly recommend
Tony fixed my boiler very efficiently I took out a contract if I require any further services. I was very pleased with the over all service. 4 years on my boiler needed to be repaired, Tony came out on Bank Holiday Monday! Great.
I have had an excellent service provided by A & R Boilers I used them in a previous house but then moved to British Gas as I took over the contract After getting disillusioned I returned to A & R A & R are so much better than British Gas and will come out in emergencies if needed too Very trustworthy They have been out twice today to make sure I have heating and just before Christmas Highly recommended
Many thanks to Tony and Mark for fast professional work
Great service
Excellent service
Tony the engineer was more than than helpful. He explained what was wrong and what needed to be done. He turned up when he said and completed the job to a high standard, I would definitely recommend this company to my family.

I was referred to this company by my friend who had used them before. Very good response time, excellent communication. Will definitely use again and recommend.
After my boiler started making banging noises , I called ar boiler repair and an engineer came out within hours and fixed the problem, I now have heating and hot water thanks guys I will not hesitate to use this company in the future!
A boiler breaking is a nightmare, especially when it is so cold. After speaking with numerous technicians and company’s A+R came within the HOUR, gave an accurate diagnostic sourced the part and repaired the job later on that day. Other companies wanted to know information that is not always available. I don’t write reviews but it really was a good service. Thanks 🙏
Very quick same day service - fixed the boiler problem - first class service.
Great team, very friendly, Diane is an amazing and professional woman, she knows and really like what she is doing. She came and completed the job very well. Thanks again guys😊
Great professional and friendly service
The team came and repaired my boiler same day. Great and friendly communication. The problem was quickly identified and solved. I'm happy with the service.
Called them as needed quick boiler repair/change on the weekend and their website mentioned emergency repairs. The office advised that someone will call me back soon to arrange details, or if they cannot come out on the same day they'll let me know, but the operator said she'll be able to send someone out... After a few hours I called again, they just repeated what they've said before and submitted a new request. At 5 I assumed nothing will happen on that day, however I haven't heard back from them. Maybe I should have found someone else then, but hoped that they'll be able to come out sooner than others as they suggested. Called them up on Sunday again, when again they submitted a new request. Then an hour later an engineer called saying that they can only come on Monday, they said around lunchtime. Sure, we said yes despite the completely rip off price, as at that stage we tried to call others, but no one could come sooner, some recommended engineers said week's wait. I contacted the engineer at 2 on Monday asking when is he likely to come as promised lunchtime. Then he said 4. In the end arrived at 6 - clearly no chance to repair or arrange a new fitting for ASAP. The diagnosis was almost as much as we could figure out without much understanding of boilers and the engineer could not give useful advice about considering different boilers at all. And then they quoted crazy for a really cheap, basic boiler. I'm not sure where the good reviews are from, but wouldn't bother with this company. Prices are rip off, service/communication is not trustworthy, engineers not too experienced/knowdgeable. Lucky that I'm working from home currently otherwise would have wasted my whole afternoon for nothing. We went with another company in the end.
Fast, courteous, and professional. Boiler was repaired within 24 hours of first picking up the phone to A&R, including the time it took to get a replacement part!
Great service, very professional would highly recommend
Having dealt with two separate heating specialists, Tony was able to solve our heating issues within a day. When the boiler started making noises, he returned promptly and was able to solve it.
Brilliant service. Very quick and efficient. Perfect! :)

I have been using A&R Boilers for over 10 years, always amazing service and great quality and I am now very happy to see a new female engineer on board the team!!!
Fantastic service, friendly staff - heating is back on now - our four year old and two year old are happy as winter is coming! Many thanks for explaining everything and the speedy service Tony and Diane! Tony is a truly masterful engineer!!
Marius came out today to service my boiler and unvented hot water system. He did a fantastic job, was extremely thorough and offered advice throughout. He was happy to answer all my questions and it is clear that he is highly competent. Over the years I have had local firms, British Gas, and the odd cowboy. Marius and A+R are by far the best. Thanks
Had no hot water. Quick response and fixed in 20mins. Engineer friendly and professional. Would recommend!
Professional service. Great communication. Quick response. Great job!
Fast and professional services
My experience with Tony from A&R has been very good. He was professional and didn't seem fazed by the boiler (we have a back boiler which they don't make anymore) and the gas valve which needed replacing. He gave me a quote the first time we spoke and he was very much spot on. He then quickly booked a repair visit and we were good to go. The prices were cheaper than other companies and they were very knowledgeable - I thoroughly recommend A&R for any boiler repairs.
Tony is a legend, Did a great job and fixed it straight away, great service, on time and great guy. Had over 8 engineers out to an older complex system which they either broke or abandoned job on and Tony came in with a wealth of knowledge and experience and did a great job fixing our boiler. A true masterful engineer.
I cannot praise Lloyd enough for repairing faults on my old boiler. He visited three times to address a number of issues and ensured everything was fixed before leaving. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I have been with this firm for a number of years and have always received A* service. From the employees in the office to the engineers on the front line, this company is amazing under the leadership of Tony who is the Oracle of knowledge. Brilliant!
Our Masterful Engineer was Lloyd. He called us before hand and once he arrived, he immediately found the fault with our boiler and ordered the parts. We now have heating and hot water! I 100% recommend this company to everyone.
Lloyd sorted out my Worcester boiler in much need of TLC, rang ahead and came within time allocated by HQ. Both fast working and diligent looking at all areas and explaining as he went. Now got a happy boiler and hot water! Cheers
Great, friendly service. Easy to contact, met my expectations on service, time keeping and cost. Lloyd was really friendly, phoned ahead to confirm his arrival time and fixed the problem with my boiler on site with minimal fuss. We have used A+R three times now and would highly recommend them. 5 stars indeed!
Called, as boiler had finally given up! A quote was provided, Lloyd called to let us know how far away he was. Very prompt, really knows his profession, told us what the problem was and how he was going to fix it, which he did and all for the price quoted! Very pleased to have found a 'boiler/gas man' we can trust, top man👍
Had a leak under the boiler due to a faulty O ring.Lloyd was assigned this job and he called me before he reached my property. He was very professional, friendly and knew what he was doing. Sourced the parts and fitted it. After the job he left the place neat and tidy and ensured that everything is working fine before he left. I highly recommend this firm for any boiler repairs. I have used them in the past too.
Great job! It was a call out appointment as I noticed a small leak from the boiler. I was able to get an appointment very fast, Lloyd called 30 min before arrival, quickly identified leak and performed full check up. I was advised to change some parts, I got a quote from A+R instantly and appointment booked on the same day. I am very happy with the outcome and the service.
Very pleased with the service given. Problem solved and lots of good advice given. Very competitively priced!
Thanks to Tony who did a great job, diagnosed the fault from a video, brought the correct parts and repaired the same day, this is the difference between a masterful engineer and a gas safe engineer. Thanks again!
Lloyd was very professional, called before arriving and did excellent job would definitely recommend him! Thankyou
Called out because we were hearing a strange noise from our boiler and thought we should get it looked at. Called around 9am yesterday and we had Lloyd out to fix it by the early afternoon. All communication was great and we were contacted before Lloyd arrived to let us know what time he would be here and was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. Turns out not only was there an issue with the boiler itself but Lloyd also found an undiscovered leak in our ceiling that had been happening for some time. Both problems were fixed in a professional, friendly and timely manner. A+R have provided us with the reassurance that the leak will not occur again. I 100% recommend A+R to anyone with any boiler or heating issues.
Had no hot water, an engineer came out within a few hours. All work done was very professional.
Impressive, professional service. Lloyd came around on the day we called the company to begin work on the boiler. Soon identified the issue with it, having talked me through it step by step and explained his decision making. After realising it needed more time and parts he came back first thing Monday morning and kept working on all aspects of the boiler, including servicing it all within his call-out hours. In the end Lloyd had fixed and sorted more aspects than we realised needed attending to and never gave up on the boiler despite multiple set backs. Now works a treat, and we'll be using A+R again if needed.
We have a super old boiler that stopped working I called A+R and made an appointment at a time that suited me for an engineer to come along and take a look. Lloyd came and he was great! It did take a few days to get sorted, with a few visits, as the boiler needed quite a few parts and because of its age these are hard to find and take a longer time to arrive but Lloyd was on it all the way with great communication on the status of the parts etc. He explained everything honestly and clearly for us. He was very professional and explained every step of the repair, what was needed and how much everything was going to be. We also requested a full service and certification too as we’re going to be moving soon and Lloyd provided this with no worries. We now have hot water and our heating back! Thanks Lloyd and A+R.
Engineer arrived and hour after making appointment. Lloyd was super professional , efficient, helpful and explicitly explained what was wrong. He rang 20 mins before arrival. Couldn't of done more , great service, staff and very reasonably priced !
Absolutely brilliant, very friendly and professional and more than happy to answer my questions. Marius who carried out the repair work was fantastic and such a nice guy. Thanks very much :)
Lloyd was quick and efficient at solving the boiler issue, explained it to us so we understood what was happening, polite and also came to fix the problem during unprecedented times. 👏
Was very professional, quick and did a great job. Exactly what I wanted.
We used A+R to take a look at our boiler problems, Lloyd was our engineer and he was great - very professional and friendly. He worked efficiently to identify our problem and quickly fixed a dangerous electrical fault we had. I can't thank him enough! He may have very well literally saved our lives.
Very good service! Lloyd arrived quickly and was very helpful, explained what was wrong and though it was more of a complex job than originally thought - stayed until it was completed.

Waseem from A+R Boilers came around to fix our no hot water problem with our boiler, he was very polite and explained the whole process, we will deffinety using the company again.
If I could give minus or even no stars for this company, I would!!! Firstly, I need to say that Tony has been servicing a very old combi boiler for me for a good number of years and kept it going with a number of repairs. At this final service, it was condemned (carbon monoxide leak) by an engineer I think was called Waz. After a phone call to A&r, I was emailed a quote for a new Worcester Bosch boiler plus some new necessary pipe work. £3,300!!!!! 30% payable before the work starts and the rest on completion. No mention of any finance terms which I believe the company does offer - but not to me!! My family threatened to section me if I went ahead with this quote without looking at other alternative companies. Long story /short - I went with a quote for a Worcester Bosch boiler with a 10 year warranty - instead of Tony's 5, all the new pipe work needed, a 3 year finance deal, 10 years of servicing for one payment of £99 and all the other stuff that the A+R quote offered for a significantly lower price. Sad to say that being loyal to a business means nothing to some people these days. I did speak to Tony regarding the high price of the quote and got some fudged reply regarding the pipe work which answered nothing!!! Tony, you failed to tell Mr Lopez (sub-contracted heating engineer) that the job had been cancelled. I apologised to him for his wasted time. Unprofessional does not come anywhere close to describing what I encountered. Even Dick Turpin wore a bloody mask!!!!!!!!! I am also wondering if my boiler was indeed unsafe - it was definitely old but regularly serviced. If this was possibly sharp practice from your company to force me into a new over-the-top expensive boiler deal. I hope Waz was being truthful!!!
Can not rate this man highly enough (Marius). He was hard working, took the time to explain why there was a problem, how he was going to fix it and was clear with the price. He went the extra mile when he couldn’t fix it on the first visit and stayed late making sure the job was completed to a high standard. I am really happy.
Had a problem which was swiftly resolved within two visits. They are very communicative with friendly engineers who are more than happy to fit in around your busy lifestyle. Work was completed promptly, successfully, and for a very reasonable price which was communicated upfront. The first attempt did not successfully resolve the issue and so they almost immediately returned, did a second assessment, and fixed the underlying issue.
After a rocky start with the company Maris came over promptly and was hard working, pleasant and polite and completely turned around our opinion. He worked on a problem that had stumped other engineers and saved the day.
Our engineer was Lloyd. He diagnosed the fault and repaired our boiler quickly. We now have hot water!
Quick response to our broken boiler ,Marius made an attempt to fix it but sadly the boiler was beyond redemption . Dave came to fit the new boiler ASAP . swift & professional service from Tony & his team

Tony has been our regular service technician for more than 13 years and has always given good advice and service. Thanks for Tony and Terry for their job !
Excellent service - called Tuesday evening when our boiler broke down. Was given appointment for Friday (as I was home). I arrived home early from work on Wednesday and called on the off chance an engineer was available. Tony called and agreed he would come out - he was just about to clock off, which was lovely that he made the effort. On arrival, Tony was very polite and professional - he diagnosed the issue with the boiler and made sure he explained what the fault was using examples a non-boiler expert can understand. The fault was with the gas supply, which he explained he could get Cadent to come and sort. Tony made the necessary calls to arrange. When he has finished, he cleared up after himself and made sure that all the i's were dotted. Will be using A+R again, should we need to. Thanks for a great service
Tony is really good engineer. 5 star company. 100% satisfied.
I was very pleased with the help, consultation and work carried out in my flat by the two lovely gentlemen. They were quite professional and treated me with utmost care and explanations to all my all my needs.
Extremely satisfied! Tony from A&R called beforehand to discuss the issues we had with our boiler, confirmed costs and was able to come already the day after my initial call. More work had to be conducted on our old boiler then previously discussed, but these were necessary actions. Would highly recommend to others and will use again if we have similar problems in our other properties.
Great service
Just to update anyone interested I have had gas safe register check my boiler and told me it is him at fault but they can't get hold off him and is ignoring all contact, so good luck mate I will be taking this further because off your ignorance to the fact you didn't do basic checks and left me and my family in danger(for someone else to fix for £80 and that engineer has said you are disgrace to the profession and people need to know about this) One off there boiler engineers came out to my boiler and and seemed like he was on drugs talked very slowly Tony(jamaican)I think his name was. All after spending three day trying to fix my boiler and told me my boiler had cancer(why would you say that to a customer could used any other word like it on its way out). He left it in a dangerous way(never fitted the screws back on the boiler and could have fallen on me or the kids) and said I was good to go. So I thought he had fixed it but now the heating is always on. When I rang to complain they defended him and refused to send anyone else out to check out what I was claiming and now they have told me they will not send anyone out and my boiler is no longer there problem. They have also taken there monthly fees from my account and refusing to give it back.(6 month worth). Just warning anyone who uses them.
Great service spot the issue in seconds. Will use it again.

I have been using A&R boiler experts since November 2006 at my previous home. In my current home it was taking a very long time for my boiler to fire up and provide hotwater. It turned out to be quite a big job but Tony sorted it in a timely manner.
Received a call to organise a home visit the working day after lodging an enquiry. Able to attend the same day. Really impressed with their service.
Fantastic service!!! Exceptionally friendly company with excellent engineers.
After calling 5 other engineers and lots of boiling kettles A+R finally fixed my boiler. Thank you very much
Called A&R. They knew exactly what’s the problem was before the visit. And they brought the exact parts n got the problem fixed! Very Efficient!
Excellent, prompt service. Would definitely recommend.
Electric boiler fix. Someone came out quickly and was all done in a couple of hours. Would definitely recommend. Only downside was I had to pay the one off fee as they don't do the year cover on my type of boiler.
A+R boilers comes to fix my boiler after several engineers couldn’t fixed it. Am so impressed with the excellent work and services. Thanks a million.
Best company to do the job.. staff is extremely friendly and courteous... satisfied as always... great work.. thanx..
Great quick and friendly service. Would recommend
Great experience with this firm. Quick service and great communication. Thanks Tony!
I've had a service contract with A&R for 5 years now and I cannot recommend them enough. They've always turned up on time and always quickly resolved any problems. They've even offered advice over text - when I've needed a little advice with problems to enable me to fix it myself (if it was the pressure dropping for example) so no need for them to come out. Boilers/Water tanks, and anything heating related can be the bane of our lives - but with A&R they have it all covered so it's one less thing for us to worry about. 5 stars all round
Prompt and friendly service.
Great service, fast response, would definitely recommend
Good service, turned up on time and fixed our rather old boiler without any fuss. I would recommend them.
Very fast, efficient and friendly service.
Great service from Tony. Friendly, reliable, trustworthy. I'll have no hesitation in ringing him for any boiler repairs.

Faultless as a company in every way. When I first moved into my property I had a bad experience with another company, but since finding A & R have had nothing but positive things to say. Excellent service, friendly knowledgable staff and extremely efficient. Highly recommended.
Just signed up to A+R, fantastic service, boiler sorted extremely quickly. Definitely recommend this company.
Brilliant. Great job. Very clean workers.
Great service, turned up on time, polite and professional.
Nothing but trouble with this company. Fitted a new thermostat which didn't work left heating on full blast in my property which wasn't lived in yet for days. No apology. Replaced electric board then boiler went off again. I got British gas round for them to condem my boiler because it was leaking Carbon monoxide and had been for a long time way before tony touched my boiler. Again no apology absolutely shocking!
Quick, reliable, kind. Thank you
Great and prompt service! If there is a problem they try and come on the same day or the next day which is just the kind of service you want!! Highly recommended 😊👍🏽
First class service - quick response, got the job done quickly, and all the engineers are decent guys. I held off reviewing until a little time had passed - 2 months later, everything still tip-top. Highly recommended!

Excellent service and polite people.
DO NOT BE CONNED! SCAMMERS! My boiler stopped working and was looking around for someone quick since I have 2 young children and with no hot water or heat in the freezing cold weather. Everywhere was fully booked and will need to wait at least 4 days for someone to come around. Then I came across A+R which they could come out the next day! Next day I had 2 inexperienced engineer (early 20s) came out to do a diagnostic to my boiler which took them 5 mins! All they did was take the cover off, tried to start the pilot light (click of a button) and stared at it for 2 mins! During these 5 mins there was zero communication! When I asked them what is wrong and how much roughly it will cost to fix, they could only reply "we cannot answer you that" " Tony will phone you up and discuss this matter with you". They looked so lost in what to do and just left. This so called "Tony" who have not seen the boiler came back with a ridiculous quote the next day! I don't believe someone who has not seen the boiler, and for an "engineer" who had seen it "cannot" tell me what the problem is, could be trustworthy, so I decided to not call them back. I later found someone else to fix my boiler for 1/3 of the price this "Tony" has quoted! However, now this "company"(A+R) now wants to charge me £115+VAT for this so called 5 mins diagnostic! They are more expensive than calling the British Gas out! Save your hard earned money and look elsewhere who does employ well trained engineers. Even the British Gas (known to be rip offs) !!!!!!
All good and not expensive
Fantasic service got my boiler working and came out late in the evening
Excellent service - prompt and communicated with us when they were on their way and made sure they had the necessary parts to fix our boiler. Will definitely recommend them.

After the pilot light went out on our boiler on the coldest day of the year myself, Mum and two young children were left in a freezing cold house with no heating or hot water. Unable to relight it we looked for a company who could fix the problem. We phoned around a few well known companies who said we’d have to wait 5 days!!! A&R were able to come the next day (a Saturday). It took 15 minutes to get the fan working again. We signed up to their year plan, so that we can phone them again if we need their help and will get a service in the Summer. Thank you very much!

Was told engineer would call Monday about 12 noon (today) , 12 noon came and went - no engineer!!, at 1pm called again to ask if engineer was calling... got call back at 1.30pm to say engineer would be calling in approx 1-1.30 hours from now.... so what was a 12 noon appt is now 15.30pm ish (or should I say if anyone turns up!)..... very poor customer service!! .......may have to take my £66 a quarter for this treatment somewhere else!..... don't think I'm considered a valued customer!
Thanks a lot Tony and Glen, you got the boiler back on it's feet and worked overtime as well. Andrea leeds

Using Tony A& R company for a long time. Very good service as always. Will always use .
Contacted A&R in Easter Saturday. Not used before. Tony said he would come to look at the boiler (boiler leaking). He text when he was on his way. The boiler, which was in the house when bought 5 years ago and been problematic, needed replacing. Tony is a lovely and professional guy who explained everything. (The boiler was bleeding to death and dangerous). David and Lewis fitted the new boiler on the Wednesday after Easter. They were very polite, explained how to use the boiler and left everything clean and tidy. We received a wonderful service from everyone at A&R right from the first contact and they even register the boiler.
Diagnostics over the phone at 10pm just like the boiler technician said. Fast service and a job well done. Will use again!
Called same day as reported , even though it was Good Friday and repaired boiler. Chose A&R due to excellent Google reviews
Tony provided a quick, reliable service. Identified all faults and managed to supply all parts required on the same day. Tony's work was neat and tidy.
A long story short: We are very unsatisfied and offended customers; after 1 month of numerous callouts (under warranty), the boiler problem is still not sorted (or even decisively diagnosed), after much money, time and effort spent on our behalf -- and misdiagnosises/poor workmanship, empty promises and fob-offs/disguised prevarications (to say the least) on their behalf....We are thoroughly dissapointed and extremely frustrated after expecting an excellent and professional service based on the many positive Google reviews, but ending up having to unnecessarily (and very upsettingly and stressfully) waste money (we don't have), invaluable time, and considerable psychological and emotional energy having to deal with the whole shennanigans for an entire month; pure cowboy experience, I'm sorry to say.
Fantastic response, I couldn't have coped with another night without hot water or heating and it was sorted very quickly! Thanks what a team!
Tony arrived clearly after a long day but he was courteous, very polite and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!!

I have just completed my portfolio building course with Tony and I have nothing but fantastic praise for him and his company. It was so much more than I expected. I did not only get my portfolio done, I also learnt so much about how to run a business effectively and how to be a successful gas engineer. The entire experience was extremely rewarding. Tony is very knowledgable and his love for this industry really shines through in the quality of his teaching and the quality of his work. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

A+R helped me on the same day and Nick (the engineer) managed to fix the boiler very quickly. Whoooop! Veloci e utili. Mi hanno risposto alla prima chiamata e sono venuti lo stesso giorno risolvendo il problema alla caldaia! Top!

Tony has always been helpful and I have been with them for last 5 years. always spot the problem and give good advice and he does go out of his way to help. would continue to use this company due to Tony
Had a broken boiler, called them on Sunday and spoke to the office. Tony called me back and Nick came the next day to fix my boiler. It's an old glow worm and I thought it had bit the dust. Nick took a look at it and told me the fan had gone. Replaced it there and then. After weeks without heat as a few plumbers had failed to turn up for appointments, I am so happy with their service. Really quick and really good advice.
Quick, efficient, polite. Fixed price and did exactly what they promised to do.
Prompt, friendly service. Happy to arrange an appointment at a time that suited me best - very accommodating. Would recommend.

Very satisfied with the service. Reliable and turned up when they said they would.
Great service. Able to get a next day weekend appointment and the service of my immersion heater was carried out quickly at a reasonable price!
I paid £138 to be told my boiler was switched off. Yes, my fault for being stupid, but I received 2 phone calls asking for information, from Mick and Tony and I can't help but think that at least one of them could have suggested that it was switched off. I am a pensioner.
I've been a customer of A +R for over 10 years . I have always found them really helpful and reliable . an excellent service .
Tony and Dave were heros, such a great service. Our boiler is outside in a terrible place. We called A+R on a cold winter day. We had no hot water and the boiler was leaking. They were friendly, professional and persevered outside in the cold for hours. Now the water is hot and the boiler is working. Fantastic service at very short notice. Totally recommend A+R Central Heating. They really are experts.
After many years of her boiler not working and being ripped off by numerous cowboy companies, this company actually legitimately fixed my mums boiler. On the first visit my mum had hot water for the first time in 6 months after paying hundreds out to others and having no joy. Today she has heating properly for the first time in years. As a nurse she is up at all hours with shifts and it has been an awful winter for her. Now she can be comfortable in her own home again. The workers were honest, genuine, extremely helpful and went the extra mile to diagnose an issue no one had seen before. Not only that the price was lower than expected. I highly recommend this company. Thank you for giving me peace of mind regarding my mums wellbeing. Extremely happy customer!
amazing fast service - didn't over charge and would absolutely use this company moving forward.
Amazing job and great service. Can Always depend on you Mr.Nick to be there to sort everything out. Will definitely be recommending you to my friends and family. Thank you Mr. Miah.
Excellent service, very efficient.
Thank you so much for a lovely job my house was freezing in the morning and now it's nice and warm again. Thanks
Today I noticed my hot water not working. I called A+R Boilers this afternoon and by 5.30 it's all working what a great service.
Came on time , job done excellent. Good customer service
Great customer service. Job done quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended
I reported my boiler not heating my water on Friday and by Monday lunch it was fixed free of charge under guarantee (faulty part, not bad workmanship) by Tony. Lovely, friendly chap who sorted it in no time! Thank you to all the team at A&R!!! Christina
Lovely staff, very helpful, just moved into a new house and the boiler was on the blink, rang A + R in the morning and Tony was around by the afternoom and fixed everything straight away. Decided to take a contract with them, a reliable and assured boiler repair company is defiantly worth having.
Called AR Boilers this morning within a few hours of my call the radiators are all now working
What a great service from this company will be using them again
Very quick rang a couple of hours before and all fixed same afternoon.
very professional service with our boiler working smoothly again with a couple of hours.
Tony was kind and professional. He fixed the problem with my boiler in no time and while working he explained me what he was doing and why. He was happy to answer all my question and he left me with no doubt. I'm completely satisfied with the service and the result!
Great service from Nick, friendly service. Would recommend!
Fab fast service! Saved me from being cold! Thank you
Job done well, came when we needed him
Excellent work, friendly service.
Good quailty stuff. Got hot water working on first visit. Had to get parts for second visit but kept informed via text and came back next day. Checked radiators were fully warm before went. Good friendly and professional service:)
We have had an annual service and repair contract with A&R for about ten years now, which is just as well as a variety of problems have developed with our boiler in that time. Tony is an excellent engineer and has repaired the boiler and replaced several components over the years (free of charge of course). He is a very pleasant gentleman and is happy to explain what has happened and what he has done to rectify the problems. Highly recommended. EDIT: Another problem yesterday evening (28.1.17). No heating and no hot water, so I called A&R. Tony called back and asked me a few questions, which I could answer quite easily. From that information, he was able to diagnose the problem - a faulty pump in the boiler - which proved to be correct when he visited this lunchtime. He quickly replaced the pump (free, under the service and maintenance contract) and the boiler is once more working perfectly. A masterful engineer!
Friendly service, prompt response and good value for money - Would definitely recommend!
Very happy with the service today, boiler repaired thand you Tony.
The guys came round same day and fixed my boiler with no hassle. Many thanks
It's not ideal when your boiler breaks in the middle of January when there is snow outside and your finances are low .. Tony and his team came out to assess it on the same day we called and worked tirelessly to do everything to revive our old Ravenheat. Unfortunately boiler didn't make it so after getting a few quotes for a new one we chose to go with A+R as they offered competitive prices and quick service. Very quickly we got back to having heating and hot water and they have also used their specialist knowledge to install us a new "Nest" thermostat. Highly recommended.
Quick response, friendly staff
Very quick service from two very knowledgeable engineers. Pleasant, polite and the total cost of the job was very reasonable. Will definitely use them again if the need arises
I rang 3 people in Stockport nobody got back to me over 3 days. I spoke to A&R and they turned up on the day and rang me back instantly, boiler fixed there and then now it's toasty again.
Fixed ASAP. Great service & would happily recommend. Clean job by Tony & Nick.
Came on time and solved the heating problem quickly with no hassle!
Nick and tony were great, they help our boiler and made sure everything was okay. Good customer service, Highly recommended for boiler issues
Why 5 out of 5 stars? - My boiler was actually fixed - the boiler repair man came the same day (within 2 hrs actually) of me calling A+R to request their services - the boiler repair man came again the next day with new replacement parts that were needed for the boiler - He was friendly, polite and very professional - I could pay using my bank card All in all, the service was excellent Now contrast this with the 2 seperate boiler repair guys who tried to fix our boiler - They could n't fix it - It took 2 working days for them to come and visit - It took about a week just to get the replacement parts After 2 months of having to put up with a faulty boiler and on and off heating, in desperation I called A+R after reading their reviews. Believe me it was such a relief to finally get the boiler sorted one and for all If u live in Oldham or surroundiong areas just ask for Tony. He's the guy who fixed my boiler. :) Thanks Mr Parmar, Oldham
I called A&R Boilers this morning and now I have hot water again very quick service thank you.
Happy with the work They came out quickly from initial phone call and were clean, efficient and friendly but I'd watch them with your biscuits lol
Tony came the same day we called, at exactly the time requested, and got our hot water working again. Once again we are very pleased with the service.
Good team, quick to visit and install. Knowledgeable fitter, communicated well every step and the new boiler is working great. A+
Fantastic service, great company to deal with. Diagnosed my boiler over the phone and came with the part and repaired on first visit. Thank you!!
Engineer was round within an hour of call. Fixed problem very quickly.
Outstanding service,I joined A&R central heating cover last year and their service is brilliant, Tony and the rest of the team are very attentive and helpful, I called Tony on Christmas holiday and he came and fix the heating on no time with big smile, highly recommended
Fast and professional. Would recommend.
Tel A&R quickly diagnosed the problem before attending and completed the boiler repairs promptly thanks Tony will use your services again ( not to soon I hope )
Can't recommend these guys enough. Kept me informed about when they were coming so I could let them in and came back the next day to finish the job. Thanks Tony!
Great boiler repair
Called yesterday in a complete panic as about to close on house sale when boiler broke. Got a call back from Tony and we suspected circuit board. Mine is an old boiler and Tony managed to source the part for the next day and we arranged for it to be fixed at lunchtime . Unfortunately Tony badly injured his hand and rang me on his way to hospital to let me know and arranged to come to me later! He is such a hero. He rang me after he left hospital and turned up with his bandaged wound and fixed my boiler then went off to another job. Dedication or what I can't thank him enough.
Brilliant service! Solved my problem
Top service. Phoned last night, asking for someone to come round today, and they got here at 2ish, solving the problem by 4. Unlike other heating engineers (and other well known utility companies that I've dealt with before), I never felt like I was being sold something that I didn't need and it was clear from the start that they wanted to repair it there and then rather than blame the age of my boiler and try to do loads of unnecessary work. It was a straightforward problem that was sorted quickly. Would highly recommend.
First class service from Tony , fast and friendly service would highly recommend ,many thanks :-)
Great service, Tony & Nick were very professional and dealt with issue in a timely manner. No messing about with costs, what they quoted was what they charged. I would recommend these guys to everyone.
Good service, quick and reasonably priced, unlikely the previous repair company who tried to charge 3 x as much
Fast and friendly service. Fixed our boiler super quick, would highly recommend!
Brilliant service n response!!
Tony repaired my boiler today very quickly today he's a masterful Engineer just like his website says 👍
Professional people. Quick solutions for your problems. I've had a boiler brake down phone the agency got my engineer Tony in minutes and repair next day. Excellent. Thank you.
Top notch, thanks :)
Prompt arrival, courteous and efficient. Everything you need on a Saturday morning
Came out quick and fixed boiler on a Saturday could repair it without any new parts which was great and could pay by card
Excellent service called as new customer came out day after and repaired mother in law boiler. Would definitely recommend this service
I found Tony by looking on the Google reviews for a local boiler engineer. He came round, replaced the fan on my glowworm boiler, and charged a good price. All the reviews you see on here are bob on- great guy offering a great service! Cheers.
We have consistent hot water finally!!! Praise the lord and praise A+R Central Heating :)
Great service. Tony called at 9.30 in the evening and talked me through on the phone how to fix the problem. Would 100% recommend and will use in the future. Thanks again
i've been a customer for a few years now and i've always received a very informative experience from the Tony engineer and a warm welcome..much obliged
Came out within 24hrs and sorted my boiler, saved me a good few quid on repairs and also contracted into a service plan which spread out the cost yet again !!! Nice one To the Engineer Tony.
Phoned this company just over 24hrs ago to get someone to come out and have a look at our boiler, we had heating, but no hot water. We got a call within 30mins from a guy called Tony, he asked me the Brand and model of the boiler and what the problem was. I explained the prob, told him the brand but we had no idea what model it was so Tony asked us to send him a pic of the boiler. within 1/2 hour of sending the PIC Tony was back on the phone and said he said he knew the boiler, had ordered the part required and would be at our home the next day to fit it. Well, Tony has just been and not only did he sort out the hot water problem, he also fixed a problem we had with the timer control. A really nice and pleasant guy, he explained everything that he was doing which gave us great confidence in his ability to solve our problem. We will definitely use this company again.....fingers crossed it won't be this winter tho :-) also just want to say they are very competitive on price too.
The was very good fast at his job knew what he was doing very nice to talk to and would use again
I rang out today and the the engineer came with a part and fixed the boiler in less than 20 minutes. Outstanding service, good customer service and very professional.
Thanks great service and informative service
Had a stressful day and came back to a broken boiler, after phoning A&R Tony called right away and spent 25 mins with us on the phone and helped us repair it ourselves. Tony kept me calm and was really professional, what a great service. Thanks Tony, Tom.
Good service came out same day, I've called loads of other engineers and all let me down
Very reliable company. Gentleman was very paitent and very genuine, he knew the problem was very minor and talked me through it over the phone instead of coming out and charging me for a call out fee. Dont know many companies that would do that for free! Would recommend any time.
Good service, working boiler 👌
Excellent service would recommend to friend and family.
Heating and hot water stopped working on Thursday. Not ideal at this time of year. Found A+R on google and called them late Thursday evening. Tony was out to me the very next day and had it sorted in no time. Very efficient and friendly service. Would happily recommend to others.
Boiler sprung a water leak yesterday evening around 1800. Telephoned straight away to book a call out and was grateful to receive a call from Tony about fifteen minutes later. Tony talked me through stopping the leak and making the boiler safe. He offered to come out to have a look but his advice was so good I felt comfortable leaving it until the following morning. Tony arrived by 1200 and made the repairs efficency and very effectively, combined boiler, despite its age was back up and running by 1300. We've had a service contract with A&R Services for about fifteen years and we can not recommended them and their service highly enough, Thanks again Tony!
Excellent reliable service today from A+R, Tony got the boiler up and running in no time!!
Great customer service . Highly recommend star *****

Friendly, professional and quick service. Exactly what you want in a company. Highly recommended
Very quick and reliable! Our combi boiler broke down and we had a same day emergency call-out which diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, it was a complicated part that broke down but they did have parts and managed to get in the next working day and got it sorted. Highly recommended!

Tony is very helpful and fixed my boiler and recently saved me heaps of money by advising me how to fix a leak by myself. Would definitely recommend!
New apartment, heat working! Fabulous Tony!
It was very inspiring to meet Tony both at the personal and professional level. During completion of my gas portfolio I learned a lot from him. He is reliable person who cares about customers and delivers excellent customer services. I highly recommend Tony for his efficient and reliable service. Many thanks Tony and all the best.
Boiler fixed after two failed attempts by other firms. Happy days. Thanks Tony
Simply excellent, everyone in the local area should be using them. I am the landlord of a property, and my estate agent sent their maintenance people round to check the faulty boiler and they said it would be 540 + VAT for the parts and labour, and could take 3-5 working days to get the parts. I called Tony @ A+R as a new customer that morning, and within an hour I'd had a callback where he explained that he'd go and fix the problem that same day!! True to his word, he fixed the problem, and didn't need ANY of the parts I had been quoted by my estate agent!! He was in a prime position to charge a few hundred, but he was totally 100% honest. You can't put a price on having someone to call who you know you can trust. I couldn't recommend them highly enough, and I very rarely take the time to post reviews as I don't often find service this good. Thanks Tony!!
The person was very friendly and he have identified the problem straight away.
Tony was the engineer, he provided a great, quick, friendly service, no problems. Would not hesitate to recommend or use again in the future.
We called another company to fix the house boiler we were told that PCB was needed to fix it, we were left without hot water and heating for eight days. We decided to contact another company A+R boilers and they came the same day to fix it in minutes without the PCB parts, and this saved the landlord hundreds of pounds.I recommend this company to everyone.
Very happy customer here. Very quick and professional service received from Tony. One day repair during winter season - that's impressive!
Boiler stopped working, super fast response, fixed the problem really fast, all fixed so im very happy! Signed up for the cover package, really affordable and saved me loads of money on my first repair (should have been about £300, cost £99 and now just £22 a month) A+ service.
What a star Tony is!! A truly genuine and helpful man.My boiler was leaking badly & I phoned Tony who was able to talk me through what was wrong & I was able to fix it myself. He was very patient and kind as I had to phone him several times. I would recommend him100% & will definitely call him again if I have any boiler issues. Thank you once again Tony, you're brilliant..Anne Parkins
Great service
Very good service nice guy
Fantastic, came out the next day and fixed the boiler really quickly. Highly recommended.
Reliable and friendly service. Quick repair.
Great service, friendly guy, I took out a contract.
An admin hiccup meant that my initial appointment got missed by a day, hence 4 instead of 5 stars, but once that was sorted service was excellent. Tony knows his business and had the issue fixed within 15 minutes. He's a thoroughly likeable and professional man and I wish more tradesmen were like him. I wouldn't hesitate to use A+R again.
Called A+R to repair a boiler, was offered a one off repair or a repairing contract option and we went for the second for peace of mind.Response was very quick.
I have been a customer of A & R since 2003 when we lived in Hazel Grove. There services are great.same day emergencies sorted, very reliable servicing. Tony the engineer has been excellent.
An excellent service, the two engineers who attended were very thorough and competent, shown excellent customer service and both very pleasant and polite.A far more in depth and efficient service provided compared to our previous contractor. As a new customer i am very impressed and satisfied with the work carried out.
Fantastic service. Problem identified straight away. All dealt with quickly.
Prompt service, friendly and professional engineer and reliable annual service reminders - who needs more
Brilliant no problem
I have been a customer of A& R boilers for a few years having struggled to find someone local who knows about electric boilers . I am more than happy with the service from Tony from A & R boilers and would have no hesitation in recommending both Tony and the company
The engineer turned up on time, quickly identified the problem, advised us that it might be a big job (and explained why), but had the part available there and then and was able to fix it in less than 90 minutes - he got on with the work quietly, politely and effectively, and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Arranging visit of engineer was straightforward. Tony arrived on time arranged. Problem quickly solved. Good service.Thanks.
Have been a customer for a number of years and have been very satisfied with the fast efficient service, the engineers are always on time and are always friendly and do the service or repair with no fuss, I would highly recommend them and their service plan knowing that you do not have to worry about any boiler problems and nasty bills just when you don't need it

Great service and second time I've used this company. Called on a Sunday morning and boiler was fixed by lunchtime! Tony was helpful and friendly.
I needed someone to look at my Boiler as i had to Hot Water, chose A&R because they are local and good reviews. Tony called to get information on the boiler and the fault i was having. He called to advise what time he would be coming to visit to make sure i was home. Fixed the problem and gave it a mini service as well.

Fast service. Turned up when they said. recommeded. would use again.
Been customer for 6 years and great after sales support. The boiler has never given me one days problem in all those years. The engineer (Tony) is always punctual and a really thorough and professional person as well as a really nice person. Carla whom I call for the service is also always polite and follows up. 5 star rating for company and the people they employ.
Next day service, very polite and helpful!

Helpful and efficient - we have a service contract with them and so no fuss replacement of the boiler fan when it broke down
checked for urgent boiler repair , looking for good quality and local company. manged to get same day service and investigation, and really good. found the problem was with the central heating pipes and a leak under the flooring, not the boiler. Tony managed to get a plumber on site next morning to check the system, get access and replace the faulty piping. all work was done quickly, no mess, and by friendly guys. great value for money and great service.
Great and super fast service from Tony! Would recommend to all!
Same day prompt service . Affordable contract so I decided to sign up. Friendly and polite service .
Saved the day! Knows his stuff, fast call out. Would definitely recommend.
First class service. My boiler had low pressure so I decided that it needed a service. I looked on the eBay and read A&R reviews and I booked them instantly. They are very flexible and came on Saturday morning. Instead of just topping up the boiler the guy even made a video and sent it to me on how to do it in future. Would use again.
Good work, efficient and communicated well and got the job done in one day. The receptionist was clear and prompt in arranging a visit. Plumbers were polite and diagnosed the problem easily. Very happy.
Kept me informed and arrived on time. Polite and efficient. I've taken their contact for my next emergency 😁
I got my problem fixed in an hour and the guy who fixed it was really nice and patient.
Excellent service. Found because of the other good reviews on this site. Identified the problem over the phone, cam with the correct part and the boiler was fixed less than 3 hours after the first call. Definitely recommended.

Always does a excellent job , can't fault anything he has done.
Fast, effective and polite. Highly recommended.
A and R have been servicing my boiler and my mother's for ten years. He does a good job, keeps it running if possible - no spurious bills! but als does good repair work when needed.
I have been on a service plan with A+R for several years and the service received has always been very good, even though our heating system is getting on in years, it proves that if maintained regularly by a professional firm there is no reason it won't give many years of reliable use, our engineer is very approachable and explains any questions we have in lay mans terms so we can understand, also gives full details of anything he has had to do to rectify any problems
I am happy with the work you do every year.
Thank you to Tony for sorting us out and as always going above and beyond to get our boiler working properly.
We had an excellent service from Tony as usual. A speedy response and boiler fixed quickly. The office seems to struggle with admin and record keeping which has resulted in us having to pay out a large sum today.
Fixed the problem quickly and efficiently once arrived, however was slightly later than he said he'd be!
Great service thank you
Service all done through the app been a custermer for eight years very impressed with the service I get
Quick and fantastic service from Tony thank u!!!

Excellent service, quick and professional. Thank you Tony for your work with our boiler! You saved the day!
We have been using A & R boilers for more than 20 years and have always found them to be a wonderful company who are extremely efficient and very loyal to their customers. I would not use anyone else. Very happy with their service.
The engineer from A+R was professional and I'm very pleased with the service they provided. Would definitely recommend them.
Great service, thank you Tony for your help, I now have heating and hot water. 👍👍👍
Tony provides an excellent service, he even answered the phone on a Sunday afternoon. He diagnosed and solved my boiler problem most efficiently.
Came and did a job. Used them twice both time prompt polite and tidy. I signed up to their contract on the second occasion saving myself £170 on the cost of a boiler repair from what started as a niggling fault. Can't complain at all.
A huge thank you to Tony Morgan and the team at A+R Heating and Boiler Repair Experts for making my Gas Portfolio of Evidence for my ACS exams a pleasure to do. After contacting numerous companies and getting all sorts of waffle and numerous stupid prices I decided to go with A+R to do my portfolio and I'm glad I did. I knew abit about being in the gas trade but the experience and knowledge that Tony showed was second to none. We covered an array of work in quite a busy but organised schedule. Even between job's Tony was explaining/teaching in the van. For anyone who is wanting to do there Portfolio A+R is a must and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. It made my trip from the North East well worth while and at the same time totally complete my portfolio, allowing me to do my ACS exams and passing. Once again a huge thank you to everyone at A+R for making the portfolio seem painless. Many Thanks Stephen.
Have been dealing with me for a few years now and found Tony to be very efficient. Have now signed up for a contact so I don't have to worry about a big payment every time something goes wrong. Pleasant, friendly and personable. Thanks.
I recently did some practical training with Tony Morgan (the main engineer of A&R Boilers) as part of my ACS Training Portfolio . I had previously did some training with another boiler installation/repair company. And the contrast couldn't have been more striking. It was like night and day. Whereas working previously for the other company, i was used more as a General Labourer e.g, passing tools, lifting up floorboards, mixing cement, etc. And the whole installation processes seem to take on "a race against the clock" mentality. Very chaotic. But with Tony, it was the opposite of that. I felt very much part of a team. He included me in every element of any repair/service that was being undertaken. Clearly explaining what was happening during each and every step. So as the days went by I felt a lot more optimistic in becoming a qualified Boiler Engineer as I found my confidence levels growing with each job we attended. Tony makes everything look so easy. His fault finding technique really has to be seen to be believed. Whereas other engineers i have seen tended to rush in, Tony relies on his countless years of experience to take a step back and look for clues as to what the fault actually is. And i think he must have had a 100% success rate in his fault finding evaluations whilst i was there. Indeed, his fault finding technique could even be described as forensic. Because of all his experience he just makes everything look so easy and that really struck home with me. All the customers seemed very pleased with the service he provided. And he would often fix different problems that previous Engineers had failed to do! No matter how trivial. Indeed, the mentoring he provides goes a lot further that just Gas! i found his insights into many things in life to be very insightful. He is obviously a deep thinker and it's amazing how his rationale can be applied to the work in hand. As when you meet him, this is one of the things that strikes you right away. This is a guy who truly thinks outside the box! So in summary, I would have little hesitation in recommending any other lads who are taking their ACS to contact Tony for their Portfolio training. You will gain very valuable hands on experience and will complete your qualification a lot quicker. Thanks Tony for everything. You truly are the Boiler Mastermind! Paul Mac (from Liverpool)
Awesome service, engineer was on time, helpful, polite, professional and technically "gave me a hot shower!" Fully recommended!
Tony was very helpful and fixed the boiler on the first visit and the last boiler engineer told me I needed a new boiler so we will see how it's gose now. Thanks again to Tony
Great lads, reliable and polite
Very efficient service. Best quote and value for money. Tony and the trainer that came were both friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They got the job done and we are very happy with the work. Thank you
Called at 4pm for help with a dodgy thermostat, engineer had the problem fixed 2 hours later, can't ask for a better service
A very speedy response restored heating and hot water. Thanks!
Tony was quick efficient and a good marriage counselor.

It great when someone comes in and just gets on with the job. Def use again
Friendly. Very quick response. Two out of three issues repaired during the first visit returned two days later to repair the third fault. Boiler working perfectly. Recommend.
Excellent service and solved our problem very efficiently. Dealt with Tony who was very professional and polite. Would definitely recommend.
These guys are brilliant. After British Gas failed to turn up on THREE OCCASIONS IN A WEEK, I got so sick of living in a freezing house that I called these guys. A friendly engineer was round within an hour and I now have my heating and hot water back. Truly excellent.
My electric boiler was leaking and A+R were one of only companies who would even service electric boilers. I found Tony very helpful, he was happy to look at pictures I had taken of the boiler with its problem and was kind enough to suggest a course of action which did not require anyone to come out to look. When a gentleman did come out to replace my boiler he was very friendly and efficient. I was very happy with the service and I will use A+R again if I have any boiler problems in the future.
Excellent service. Also took out service contract to save money.
The representative Tony Morgan was very well informed and helpful. The matter was resolved in minutes compred to the guy we hired last time who took an hour but still dint resolve the issue. Will definitely recommend to others.
Great service - initial diagnosis over the phone, a visit to check, then a prompt repair visit as soon as the necessary parts arrived. Can't recommend this local company highly enough. Thanks very much, Tony :-)
Came the same day at short notice. Super job, problem fixed. Thank you Tony!
Engineer Tony Morgan has been very supportive today. He communicated the problem with my boiler in simple term that I found easy to understand. He is very punctual, pleasant and seem a very reliable work man.
Excellent Service. Very pleased with our boiler repair guy Tony. Very friendly, efficient and quick service. Everything was done to a T very happy with service would definitely recommend and would use again. Thanks very much
They came out the same day on bank holiday Monday and fixed the issue in no time. Second time I've used them and brilliant on both occasions.
A prompt efficient and friendly service on first visit to service boiler and address a leak. Service completed and advised that the leak was fixed. Invoice included labour for service and a new heating sensor. A week later the leak had returned. Contacted company and visit was made for same day, but the visit was very brief and we were then advised that we would need a new part and have to pay more to fix the boiler. Frustrated that the leak was not fixed and now we are unsure whether its worth spending additional money to fix it or to install a new boiler altogether.
Great service from Tony, friendly and knowledgeable,he did a super job on my broken boiler.
Excellent service , our boiler repair technician was aware of what was needed just from a phone call, arrived with the correct part and had it installed within 20 minutes, boiler up and running again, would recommend this company to everybody, thanks for a job well done.
Great service: professional, reliable and friendly. Has been servicing our boiler for the last 5 years and keeps it in tip top condition. Always on time and calls prior to the visit to check it's ok. Keep up the good work!
Very fast and efficient company. Will use again. Thanks
We had a problem with the boiler and had a couple of plumbers coming in but they couldn't figure out what the problem was. We got in touch with A+R Central heating on Thursday and the next day in the morning Tony Morgan came to fix the boiler. Tony immediately spotted the problem, replaced the fused wires but still the boiler had no power. We arranged for him to come in the next morning with the replacement part, but by 6 pm he'd managed to get hold of replacement component, came to the house and got the boiler working. My experience could not be any better, extremely prompt response and very friendly attitude. I highly recommend their services!!
ARRIVED ON TIME GREAT COMMUNICATION. BOILER FIXED AS PROMISED GREAT ALL ROUND SERVICE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Great service. They were out within 1 hour to fix my boiler. Would definitely recommend.
Very reliable and efficient. Always ring to let you know they are coming so no need to wait in the house all day. Good service, they really take their time, not a rush job. Good customer service with plenty of phone calls to sort out your next service etc. Would recommend.
I’ve been a customer with this company for over fifteen years and have received a first class friendly service. I would not hesitate to recommend it to all my friends and colleuges.
Speedy service, grand job, highly recommended.
Fantastic service. Friendly engineer. Will use again.
We've been with A+R for over three years now and have found the help with our service contract invaluable during that time. Their staff are always on time, polite and are able to quickly diagnose and then fix any problems. Definitely worth the monthly outlay.
Since I moved in that house, they have been in charge to any problem with my boiler. They repaired it several times until there was nothing to do and they changed it for a new one. Everything was very good!! They are really nice and provide a very good service. I totally recommend it.
Been using this company for over 5 years and highly recommend them. Friendly and professional, reliable and provide a great boiler service at a affordable price. Great guys who do a great job!
Had boiler fitted 4 years ago and has been hassle free. After care service is second to none and the staff are friendly and courteous. Appreciate that they contact me for annual service and then call to let me know when arriving so day is not wasted.... Great service 5 star!
Reaaly good efficent service that i couldnt blieve. It was pretty reasonable as well. Will pone again this service for sure!
Tony came over to my house the evening i called him to look at the problem... and it was very late! He diagnosed the problem and came back the very next evening to suit my timetable and i had hot water again! I joined the contract so i knew that whatever the damage the price would be fixed... and as i had an idea the problem was fairly serious this worked out in my favour! now i am all back up and running and with the added peace of mind knowing that i am now covered for all breakdowns, which is good with an boiler that's a few years old!
Thank you Tony for power flushing my radiators, now all of the radiators in all of the rooms in my house are equally BLAZING HOT. good job you sorted me out before the winter comes.
Great service, nice guy, flexible with times, boiler now working great
