The Pondlife Co

Based in Caterham, The Pondlife Co are landscapers and pond specialists who construct ponds of all types, shapes and sizes. Their approach focuses on designing and building self-sustaining environments featuring varied depths, well-oxygenated water, extensive planting and conditions that encourage a variety of fauna to establish naturally. As these miniature ecosystems mature, they attract and support local wildlife such as frogs, toads, dragonflies, bees and birds.

While they have built clay and concrete-lined ponds in the past, their modern installations are typically constructed using durable liners laid over tough underlay. For larger water features and lakes, they handle on-site excavation and heavy machinery, whether removing substantial spoil from the property or working it directly into the landscape to form surrounding banks and rockeries.

Beyond water gardens, their full range of services includes pond design, pond and water feature installation, pond refurbishment, routine pond maintenance, pond plants and pond supplies. They also manage wider hard and soft landscaping projects, offering garden design, patio design and paving, garden walling, fencing services, turfing, hedge trimming, garden lighting and garden drainage solutions.
