CGE Outdoor Construction

From the moment we were recommended Craig, I knew we were in safe hands. He responded quickly to our enquiry and took the time to really understand what we wanted — not just a new space, but somewhere safe where my two young children could truly be children. Craig came out to measure and survey the garden, and straight away his passion, care, and pride in his work shone through. He was kind, patient, and incredibly professional, always making sure I understood every step of the process. Nothing ever felt rushed and throughout the entire project he made sure I was happy and reassured. I later met Sam and Mark, who were just as wonderful. Every day they kept me informed of when they would arrive and leave, treated our home with respect, and left everything spotlessly clean. Their attention to detail and care meant so much to me. What Craig and his team have given me and my children is something I will be forever grateful for. They have created a safe, beautiful space where my children can play, laugh, and just be kids — something every parent wants for their children. Seeing them enjoy it now is honestly priceless. I cannot thank Craig and his team enough. Their work has made a real difference to our lives, and I would recommend Craig without hesitation — 100000% — to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about what they do and the people they do it for.

Craig did an excellent job whilst dealing with difficult access.. He was neat and tidy, quick working and we’re very pleased with results.

I would highly recommend Craig at cge outdoor construction. They came and put up fencing in my garden and I was so pleased with their work they came back and done a patio for me. They always turn up when the say they would which is brilliant, they are polite and very helpful nothing is too much trouble. They even left everything washed down, clean and tidy. Brilliant job thank you.

Craig was super efficient, quick, tidy, prompt, really helpful and easy to work with. We can’t recommend him highly enough. Great work! Thanks again 👍

Oct '25 Craig and Sam have just finished another job for us at the front of our property. Existing driveway lifted and removed; new drainage channel and soakaway installed; sub-base and membrane installed ready for asphalt (to be laid by other specialist). Good work again but more than anything it's the trust that is generated that is so satisfying. Highly recommended. July '21. We wanted some landscaping work done in our back garden to give us a head start into retirement. So pleased we chose CGE to undertake the work. Very positive initial viewing and discussion, mindful of our requirements and offering appropriate advice. The work was carried out professionally and efficiently. Over the moon with the end result. Craig is very capable and personable and we would not hesitate to use him again.

We heard about CGE Outdoor Construction through recommendation. We were not disappointed. Our requirements for a renewed patio were exactly as we wanted. They were very personable, knowledgeable and worked very hard and consistently throughout their time with us. Their attention to detail was impeccable. We shall very happily recommend them to anyone.

Craig repaired part of my patio that had become very uneven and dangerous, as a result of poor workmanship when it was originally built. Craig and Sam worked very hard to ensure that the foundations are now of a very high standard. Unfortunately the original slabs were no longer available, but with Craig's advice the new slabs blend in very well with the older areas. He has a very good eye for detail. On a personal level, it is of the utmost importance to me that I have a good rapport with anyone working for me. Craig certainly fits that bill! He is very easy to get along with and always listened patiently and politely to my chit-chat! If you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy person, who has high standards, but will give you a good price and stick to it then Craig's your man. His easy-going nature, flexibilty and general demeanour make him one of the best.

Craig and Sam did a fantastic job with our patio. Always arrived when he said he would, both very polite, and literally didn’t stop all day. Couldn’t be happier with the end result, and would 100% recommend. Thank you both for a great job.

Craig and Sam were friendly, tidy, responsive, efficient, polite (and patient!) while they worked on our garden. The makeover job they've done for us is of top quality. You can tell they know exactly what they're doing; they were thorough in their preparations and took pride and care over the job. Craig's suggestions have been spot on whenever we needed a few ideas. The whole process was smooth as silk. I cannot reccommend CGE highly enough. Great job, thanks again guys!

My cattle grid was in danger of collapse and I needed a really competent and reliable builder who would stick with the job, as once started it would be impossible to get in or out of my property. Thankfully I was recommended to Craig of CGE Construction who quickly convinced me that the only sensible solution was to remove what was left of the crumbling base and rebuild all the below ground support walls and reset the metal grid. Craig and Sam worked for three days, got it all done and it was a great job. Not only that but they were nice guys to have around. Confidence restored I can now get tractors, delivery vans and lorries in and out without worry. Further works priced up and I would have no hesitation in recommending Craig both for his workmanship and sound advice.

Ours was a small job but Craig and Sam completed it quickly and professionally and the results are just as I imagined. They are skilled and pleasant and we would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone wanting quality workmanship for their project.

CGE recently completed an amazing transformation of our garden. From the initial consultation through to completion of the works, Craig and Sam were professional and hardworking and thoroughly nice guys to deal with. We gave Craig a drawing at the start of the project and the finished design was spot on, exactly as we imagined, a ‘wow factor’ transformation, thank you. Would definitely recommend CGE. A & A

Craig and the team recently completed a large patio project in my garden, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were incredibly hardworking, professional, and committed to delivering a high-quality finish. The team worked tirelessly over a number of weeks, showing real attention to detail and pride in their work. The final result is absolutely fantastic – better than I could have imagined. Craig and the guys were a pleasure to have around: friendly, reliable, and always happy to answer questions or offer advice. Great guys all around! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have any kind of groundwork, building, or landscaping done. A top-class job by a top-class team. Thanks again!

Craig and his team were fantastic. We had been putting off a project for a while and as soon as Craig came on board it was a weight off our shoulders. He helped us plan how to tackle essential jobs cost effectively, with thoughts on how the garden could evolve over time. Craig and his team were extremely professional, tidy, respectful of our property and worked quickly to get the job done. We are extremely happy with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this brilliant company! 🙌🏻👍🏡🪴🚜

We have used CGE for several projects including the construction of two patio areas and a pergola. Craig’s experience means that he knows how to make the best use of space, his design was creative and the work was completed to the highest standard. We are thrilled with our new garden which we now consider an extension of our house. Craig and his team are always punctual, tidy and polite and we would highly recommend CGE Construction to anyone who is looking for a true professional to landscape their garden

A simple fencing job but done with professionalism. Very good work, very tidy. I would definitely employ CGE again.

Without hesitation would 100% recommend CGE Outdoor Construction and Landscaping. From the very first visit to discuss a new patio in our garden Craig and Sam have been thoroughly professional, flexible and a joy to have on site, leaving our garden tidier than when they started! Their experience, attention to detail and ability to change as the patio developed was second to none. Despite wrong slabs being delivered (the suppliers fault not theirs), snow and storm Bert, Craig and Sam carried on through it all and have built us a beautiful patio. Above all though it is their professionalism, high standards and sheer quality of workmanship that shine through. Thank you both and we will recommend you to anyone who is thinking of upgrading their outdoor living space.

Craig has created the most phenomenal outdoor space for us. He seamlessly transformed a building site into a beautifully paved terraced area, a traditional Victorian pathway and a gravel, brick lined pathway connecting the two spaces. He and Sam were a joy to have around and tremendously reassuring each step along the way. Compliments regarding their work are endless from our friends and family who are, each in turn, staggered to see the metamorphosis of our garden. We are supremely happy with the results and are so very grateful for all their hard work. We could not recommend them more highly.

Great job by CGE, quick, polite, tidy, good communication, great result, couldn’t be happier 😊

Craig and his team have been amazing from start to finish. Craig came to our house and talked everything through in detail. So we felt very reassured about everything. His quote was very reasonable and we paid exactly what we thought we would. The work that they did was accurate to the millimetre and when the next team of workers came from a different company to do the next stage, they commented on how great the work was and that they rarely saw work of such high quality. Him and his team were always reliable, completely trustworthy and easy to get hold of if we ever had any extra questions (which we often did!) He always listened patiently to any concerns we had and was aalways willing and happy to talk things through. They always left things as clean and tidy as they possibly could and had a portaloo on site for them so we never had any issue with mud trodden into the house or anything else like that. We would highly recommend craig and his team and only have positive praise for everything they did. We really can't thank them enough.

Beautifully built garden deck and repaired stone step, excellent work, professional and gives honest and valuable advice for projects. Very much recommend

Amazing garden design, landscaping and garden services ,advice, reliable professional patio construction, highly recommend this company

A very big thank you to Craig for all his support and patience in helping us create a garden design and making it real. We have a corner plot and had a vision and Craig supported us to create it through the planning stage to completion. He helped us to keep within budget, used quality materials and always provided clear rationale to help us in our decision making. Craig showed dedication, commitment and accuracy with his time frames, turning up everyday on time and always leaving the garden tidy and ordered so we could work around him. Both Craig and Sam were so hardworking and we always felt at ease and trusting of them, meeting each morning for a quick update and plan for the day. It was not stressful and we both missed them when they left ❤️ We highly recommend, CGE Outdoor Construction

Superb! Does exactly what you ask, with excellent communication at all stages of the project. Craig and his hard working team deliver in a sensible and empathetic manner. A mature approach to delivering a great service and a high quality product. Hard work made to look easy, not necessarily the least expensive but highly reliable, trust worthy and innovative. Highly recommended

Highly recommend Craig & will be using him again for all future landscaping requests. Craig was responsive to messages and stands by what he’s going to do and most importantly, by when!! Very happy with finished product. Also very clean and tidy throughout the time here. Highly recommended.

Craig did a fantastic job on my Uncles patio. He is elderly but Craig guided him though the options and achieved exactly what he described. Thankyou. Highly recommended.

Craig and his team did an exceptional job landscaping my garden, their advice and knowledge with the design was perfect and the workmanship was amazing. I have recommend to friends, you have had the same experience.

CGE have just completed an outstanding job on our front drive. I would highly recommend them. When i contacted Craig, I was unsure about the best materials and approach to use. He considered the space carefully and drew up a number of options with clear recommendations that were extremely useful. I was very confident about asking him to do the work because it was obvious that he would do it properly, and so it's proved. He has taken great care and completed the job to an extremely high standard. At each stage, he was considerate and communicated clearly about what he was doing. I'm delighted with the result which is far better than I thought was possible given the limitations of the space. Not only would I use CGE again, I wouldn't want to use anyone else!

So pleased with our new drive. For years we have put up with large puddles and weeds. Craig and his team levelled the driveway, suggested a different type of stone and laid perfect block paving at the drive entry. It has transformed the look of the house and after 6 months we are still puddle free. Would highly recommend CGE Outdoor Construction.

I’ve used CGE for several projects including a large redesign and construction of a deck and patio area. Craig’s design was inventive and creative and made the best use of space. We now have a fabulous outdoor living area which is a great addition to our home. Craig and his team’s work was of the highest standard, they were punctual, tidy and polite. I would highly recommend CGE and would definitely use them in the future.

Amazing service. So happy with the end result. Weren’t sure on a couple of aspects but Craig helped us to make the right choices. Well done to Craig, Sam, Connor and Nick. We love it!

Very happy with the advice and planning offered by Craig for our new patio. Craig and Sam worked diligently during the installation and cleared up once completed. The communication with Craig was very easy and helpful from the start to the finish of the project. The result is stunning! I would have no hesitation in recommending CGE Outdoor Construction

On time, on budget and exactly to specification! Trustworthy and professional, Craig did an outstanding job on our patio. CGE came strongly recommended to us and now we would strongly recommend CGE to others.

If you want something done properly then get CGE Outdoor Construction to do it for you. I know Craig because he's done so much work in my local area and he is highly reccomended. Great communication, payment terms and leaves no mess either. He is also a very honest and thoroughly nice person, someone you can happily trust to leave at your home whilst you're not there.

From the moment I contacted Craig I was very confident that he would deliver what I requested. Arriving on time ,tidy and very friendly finished the task earlier than expected and exceptionally pleased with the work. I would highly recommend CGE
