Macclesfield Lock & Safe

I had a lock, already semi fitted to an inside door, completed by a friendly and able locksmith. The job took about 20 minutes. I highly recommend Lock and Safe for fitting door locks.

I send this company a photo of the lock that I was struggling to find a key for and within a day I have the correct key for the lock. It cost me under £4 - to get the locks replaced on the windows would have cost me about £150. They were incredibly helpful, quick and professional. Thank you!

Purchased 2 replacement window locks via Amazon. Excellent price and was shipped promptly. Thank you!

The firm was very good and organised visiting the property very quickly. A new lock was ordered and fitted the following day. The locksmith gave me regular updates and also let me know when the job was done. Great firm. Craig also took the keys to a different address for me.

Craig was lovely and very knowledgable! A swift lock change, everything was sorted very quickly! Highly recommend.

We had really good service this afternoon and would recommend Macclesfield Lock and Safe to everyone

Great and speedy service. They managed to source a replacement lock for my multipoint lock, were able to sort some additional keys, and had us safe and secure pretty much immediately. Not only that, the pricing was very fair and transparent. The staff were personable and all in all it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Amazing service, reasonably-priced and super-quick response. Highly recommended.

Great service. Same day, efficient, friendly and everywhere was left spotless. Adam was very helpful and I can’t recommend the company highly enough. 10/10

Superb service from Adam, he came out within 10 minutes of me calling, and got me in to my house (after I locked myself out) within a couple of minutes. Very friendly and professional. Even helped out with a separate issue with my door which he didn't have to but went above and beyond with his service. Highly recommend going to Macclesfield Lock & Safe, don't Google random locksmiths online as you don't know what you are getting with them whereas with Adam he wanted to get into the house as non-destructively as possible and charged a fair price for his service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Craig and his team always provide a professional and friendly service. Work is always done neatly and carefully.

Very helpful and skilled!

On the dot 2 helpful men arrived. They very soon sorted the lock and replaced parts necessary. It hasn't worked so well in years! Would definitely recommend this very local business.

Had an issue with a locked upvc door. Craig turned up less than an hour after contacting the company. After a bit of a struggle, he managed to open the door and discovered a faulty mechanism. He replaced the parts and now door is good as new. He was very friendly and informative ,and didn't mind me watching him work. All in all an excellent service and price was good. 10/10

Fantastic service through Amazon. I wasn’t sure which type of key I needed, but Lock & Safe were extremely helpful and clearly very knowledgeable, identifying it just from the photos I sent. The keys arrived quickly and work perfectly. Highly recommended!

I looked online to find window keys for old windows. Could not find any keys that had the same number but looking at the keys on their site I found some that looked similar. They keys were priced well and arrived promptly but unfortunately they didn’t fit. I would use this company again if I needed more modern keys.

Absolutely 5 stars, arrived quickly and sorted our issues, although after the shop had closed. Craig knew what to do and put us at ease immediately. Would definitely recommend. Extremely professional and friendly business.

Very bad service do not buy key from them. They send you the wrong key and after that they say our policy cannot refund so they take your money and not give you a working key. The key I have received is not even cut properly only cut from one side now I’m fighting to get my money back for keys they don’t work To know is a scam Now they are lying, but I never bought the key from them . I have attached a photo with Proof payment made to them.🤷🏾‍♂️ They trade with different name so they can scam people Watch this never happened to you stay away I have never ever called this company or email this company. I dealt with PayPal and I left my review that’s about all now his lying and adding more nonsense. I never abuse nobody and I will never do that paid for the service and never received and now I cannot get my money back. Thank you

On time and minimal fuss. Will certainly use again.

Really good response time which fitted with my availability. Had all the parts needed in stock. Transparent costs from the outset

I brought in some blanks to be cut I had purchased previously directly from Yale, however unfortunately these didn’t work. Macc Lock and Safe went above and beyond however, and wanted to help so ordered blanks themselves and cut them from the code. A perfect fit this time and they wouldn’t take any payment from me for the blanks they ordered and cut. Phenomenal customer service, thank you so much!

Fast and efficient service. Would definitely use them again

My toddler has lost our back door keys. The gentleman who answered the phone was extremely lovely and booked me in quickly. My kids had lost a couple of front door keys and we were never given the code from the door company to order replacements. I sent 2 photos to Mark who advised it may not work but to try one. The key was cut and delivered quickly with low cost postage. It works better than the original keys in the lock and I've ordered a couple of extras. Really great personal service👍

Good service, keys fit the windows.

These guys saved by bacon by unlocking the code for my key with just a picture, and trying multiple versions to find the one that worked. Service is above and beyond, would Recommend to anyway.

NOT ALL HERO'S WEAR CAPES After 8+ years of struggling with our back door we'd finally had enough, and contacted Macclesfield Lock and Safe via their website in the evening. First thing the next day we had a response from Mark, and after a brief chat Craig was scheduled to visit us later that day. Not only was he able to resolve the problem quickly, he went over and above to get to the root of the issue with our door, and gave me some great advice if we have any further trouble with it. I think they're the kindest, most professional trades -related company I've ever dealt with, and I certainly won't hesitate to recommend them or contact them in future. Thank you so much!

Adam came out to our home promptly to fix two locks that have been giving us problems for some time. The work was done quickly, efficiently and at a good price. We’ve wasted so much money on interim fixes for these locks! Next time we’ll be going straight to Macclesfield Lock & Safe.

Maybe the best customer service I've received in all of Great Britain. They went above and BEYOND to help me with my difficulties, including repairing a lock core that they didn't break. For free! Cannot recommend enough. This is how businesses used to behave. If they had other services, I'd use them too! 15/10.

Adam was quick and even called ahead to say he would be 10 minutes late due to the snow.

Needed a change of front door locks following a property purchase. They were able to come within 2 hours of calling into the shop despite being so close to Christmas. Fantastic company and really helpful staff

Elliot did a brilliant job replacing our front door lock. Was extremely professional, friendly and efficient. Would strongly recommend.

Fantastic service from Macclesfield Lock and Safe, haven't been able to lock our window downstairs for a while, rang and spoke to Adam who arranged for an engineer to visit the following day. Elliott assessed the issue quickly and returned the same day to fix it. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend

After reading such good reviews I chose Macclesfield Lock & Safe to come and look at my front door. The lock needed replaced and Elliott was able to remove it and install a new one very swiftly. He took the time to explain what he was doing, how it worked, and was meticulous in cleaning up afterwards. I'm impressed with the level of service and expertise, they clearly take pride in their work. A very friendly and professional team; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic service. Would highly recommend

Quick, friendly, honest n very efficient, wouldn't call anybody else. Have now helped me twice 👍👍

Absolutely fantastic service - would recommend to anyone and will definitely use again! From start to finish the service was great - very friendly, professional people who gave honest and helpful advice. Me and my wife (Grace) moved into our new home on a Sunday - we rang a couple of weeks before to book in so we could get our locks changed on the Monday after we moved in. They turned up on time and were really helpful - I originally had them booked in to change locks but we also noticed that something was broken on our front door so, as well as completing all the lock changes they also checked over our front door and ordered a new part. The part came the next day and the guys fitted us in then too. All round great service - everyone I spoke and helped with the job gave the same level of customer service. Thank you very much! And a special thanks to Ad & Elliott!

Good service. Very professional

I rang and spoke to Adam today, as our back door had locked itself shut and broken about 4 months ago during the start of Covid 19, so didn't really want anyone around to fix it, called at 2.00 pm, he was round at 4.00 pm same day, the door was opened, new lock fitted, no fuss, straight forward and honest talking, away again at 5.00 pm. Very well priced, much less than a new door! Such a relief for the cat, as she doesn't need to walk round to the front door now! Well done to all, I would definitely use again and recommend to all. Thanks.

Ordered replacement keys online, really prompt service. Would definately use again.

Quick response, honest and straightforward, thank you Elliot for your Great service.

Outstanding customer service this morning from these guys we had an internal door that wouldn’t open. They were here with 30 minutes. Door was opened and new barrel was fitted and the door was fixed. Elliot the locksmith was such a nice guy he knew his stuff and was really chatty which I think is important if someone is in your house. I would highly recommend Elliot and the team plus the price was very reasonable.

Brilliant service. Elliot arrived precisely at agreed time. He did a great job replacing a broken lock. He also serviced our other external doors while he was here and found and resolved a couple of issues. All the work and costs were clearly explained. Highly recommend

Good service friendly and talked me through it ace

Really great service, had just what I wanted in stock at a very good price. Security consultant Adam gave brilliant advice which saved me time in trying to figure things out for myself. Will definitely go back again

Ordered new keys for my Pipe Tube which were cut to code number .New keys arrived within 48 hours of order and spot on. Great service great price and very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Agreed call out charge on the phone then was charged 20% extra when arrived, broke my key, sprayed WD40 onto my quarry tiles, tried to destroy my lock when seemingly unnecessary (thought this might be so they could charge me extra for a new one) and everything was carried out in a rush with no thought!

Absolutely brilliant service received by Elliot, he was very professional, helpful and friendly. Sorted out quite a few problems on two properties in a couple of hours. Would definately recommend thier services and reasonably priced too :)

Super nice and honest staff even though i couldn't offe them my business.
