Ashley Security - Poole

Good little business all your security needs in one place. Very good service, friendly and polite.

Two years ago they fitted intruder alarms and cameras. The cameras have malfunctioned following either a power cut or an Internet failure and the client has no instructions on how to fix it. I had taken out annual maintenance cover but had to pay for the callout as the breakdown was in their words "not their fault". I have just received another bill for £72 for fixing the cameras that had gone offline even though their engineer had confirmed that there was no charge.

Really helpful thank you

Absolutely fantastic service. We had a snapped key in a lock, took it to the guys here & within minutes they had sorted it for us at such a reasonable price (too cheap in fact). They are polite, efficient and super goid at their job.

Ashley securities supplied me with a large number of cylinders for a property close to the sea after 11 months they showed signs of rusting, Dan the owner was happy to replace all of them with a better quality lock for free excellent service.

The guys at Ashley Security have just done a great job of fitting my motorcycle panniers with new locks and keys! Thank you

Amazing staff who went out of their way to help me unlock the fuel cap on a borrowed car. They didn't even charge for their time and expert lock picking skills! Thanks again from the stressed Aussie who barrelled in to your shop last week 😁👍

Very pleased with supply and fit of garage locks. Clean and tidy job and good price. Would definitely recommend.

Experienced staff that provide the knowledge that I couldn’t get elsewhere, recommended.

After losing our keys, I went to get replacements at Ashley Security this morning and was served by Owen, who couldn't have been more helpful to an old damsel in distress. All the keys were cut in no time including the car key! Thank you Owen...brilliant customer service and I highly recommend this business to anyone.

Went in-store as i had a problem with my van key. I was expecting to need a whole new one and it would be costly but the guy was more then happy to sort it for me as it turned out, it just needed a new pin and he did it free of charge. Very pleased.

Lost both keys to my e-bike battery so unable to charge. Although the helpful guys at Ashley Security did not have a suitable blank they kindly picked the lock at no charge and removed the battery allowing me to fit a new lock. Great service with a smile.

Excellent responsive professional service from my first call to book to Paul arriving spot on time! Careful, and tidy. Thank you. Can highly recommend. Elizabeth Purcell

I took my broken xsara picasso remote key to them as the buttons were broken and it no longer worked. After discovering that citroen would charge in excess of £300 for a new key we hoped the boys here could help. All fixed and working perfectly within a couple of hours. £50 all done ✔️ 🙌 They really are magic at fixing key fobs (they fixed my previous cars key) Great job. Highly recommend 👌

Excellent professional service by Dan ! Went above and beyond to get a code from Citroen for us kept us informed of when he was able to do the job Ten minutes he was done now we have one key for the van access not four !! Thank you so much highly recommended to all

Brilliant service and quick great value for money would recommend highly

Went into Ashley security down the road from me looking to replace my lost letterbox key. After being unable to identify the correct key in store, Scott kindly walked to my property to help open my letterbox and retrieve my letters! Couldn’t recommend them enough and will definitely use them again.

Ashley Security Ashley Road. These guys are fantastic, I popped in on the off chance they could advise me about a price for my stop start key on my Landrover Discovery not working and unable to use the keys. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they tried a couple of different things, resulting in getting my keys working again saving me £800 pounds quoted by Landrover. Thank you so much what a top service I will shout your name to everyone.

These guys are so friendly and super flexible and innovative. Customer Parking of road-Im never going anywhere else!

I’d highly recommend using these guys. I needed a Volvo car key cut, they went above and beyond with the service and help they provided. Try these guys first before you go elsewhere they’re very knowledgeable.

Fantastic place for lock advice. They also do key cutting

Excellent service we had to pop in a few times about our door lock and both guys were so helpful nothing was to much trouble.Thank you for your advice and the Vaseline worked wonders on the door frame.

Ashley Security is excellent. They cut keys that work as they should…. Unlike the two previous places I tried locally for convenience. I should have just gone to them first. They have cut all my keys and have never let me down.

Very helpful people. If you need a professional company for your door locks or security for your home, these are the people 100% Recommended

Bought a 5 lever mortice deadlock and three spare keys from this company today - Exact match for a 30 year old Legge lock which saved hours of whittling to make it fit. Well done. I am so grateful for your professional advice and expertise!

Needed classic Saab key cut. Done while I waited

Friendly helpful service

Cannot explain how much I would recommend Ashley Security. I’ve had a problem I trying to get a key cut that was really obscure. Although not able to help me with my original issue, they gave me a solution which has solved a problem that we’ve had for a year! The only company that did and truest wish I would of gone sooner . Many thanks

I can not express my admiration for these guys highly enought, they are polite, professional, knowledgable people. My job was done over and above my expectations, great price , great service. I will most certainly use them and recommend again and again. Thank you.

Paul the locksmith is to be complimented on his professionalism, punctuality, and total tidiness. Not a speck of sawdust was left after refitting/replacing locks at my property.

It doesn't seem very often nowadays that you receive such fantastic service as we did when our front door handle broke and we approached Ashley Security. They were polite, informative, knowledgeable and above all, did as they said they were going to do. I would highly recommend them

Was really happy with the service at ashely security. They sorted me out with my van key that was snapped off. Swapped all my electronic thob over to a new one with a brand key all for £20.00, such good value for money your high Street store timpsons quoted me £80.00. Was very happy with the service and they done it there and then within 10 minutes. Thank you again.

Most helpful on the phone call good advice given thanks

Friendly staff very helpful and knowledgeable

Very good and helpful

I had a broken key casing on my only car key. I initially emailed a question about cost and whether to book before I came, and had a very nice and prompt response. So I was able to turn up without an appt and have my damaged key swapped into a new casing. I also asked about a spare key to be cut as I've a habit of locking keys in my car, done that before! They were very sweet and said it would be £15 to make a none click copy, but as the old key had a spare metal part that would still work asked me if I would like to just keep the old metal key part and not charge me for cutting a new one. It will still unlock the car for me. I hadn't thought of that! I appreciated that he didn't chuck the metal old part and charge me for another key to be cut. Pretty decent of him. A very polite and efficient service. I would highly recommend

First class service with no bull. Everyone I dealt with had a comprehensive understanding of their product - well done guys.

Fire alarm system

This place is brilliant. We snapped our key in half and they managed to copy it and make a perfect working copy. I highly recommend this place. The staff were very helpful too.

Brilliant service

Always very helpful and professional.

Regularly use them to cut keys for work. The keys always fit perfectly and the staff is friendly and efficient. I also purchased pet friendly pesticide, which works well.

Prompt service. Helpful people

Good support of installation.

Efficient helpful staff

Good for all your security requirements

Great service and helped me out with an old lock replacement which I couldn't seem to find anywhere! Highly recommended!!

Visited to get a replace door lock and handle set to replace a 1960s originally. Found the staff both knowledgeable and helpful. I was not the only customer there, had two people queuing in front of me (Covid restrictions) and when I left three others waiting to be served. Would recommend.

Very helpful we wanted a basic door camera for my grandfather but they sell more professional equipment.

Good for all types of security, key cutting, padlocks etc. Very helpful.

very good service from Ashley security, they turned up on time were polite clean tidy and did a good job.. thanks..

Great service!!!

I had lost window keys for my conservatory....having contacted the installers of this they were unable to help and suggested that I would need to replace the window handles at a cost of approximately £120. Unfortunately the window lock does not show any numbers that you could just go to a local locksmiths and get another cut. So I contacted AS who suggested that I took a photograph of the lock and I therefore visited them and they were able to find a key which matched my lock. I would suggest that if you have any problems with anything regarding locks / security..... Ashley Security are the ones to contact. Thank you for all your help.

Extremely quick and cheap key cutting service. Had a new tenant move in so needed a spare key, didn't even take a minute and my key was attached to a keychain too, fantastic service.

Excellent company with good quality cameras

Excellent service, great price and very helpful. I will definitely recommend.

Great place and very helpful

Went to get a key cut (3 needed) and couldn't believe how speedy they were. A couple of minutes and job done.

Half the price of Timsons. An actual locksmith that does all the things those overpriced key cutting kiosks can't. I wish I had discovered them years ago.

Really pleased with my new keys. First I arrived with my fiat 500 remote key that had died after being subject to sea water! I rang around other companies and Ashley Security were by far the best value saving me at least £25 to get it replaced. They sorted it while I waited and replaced it with a new key that works.... and an hour later I returned with our camper van key which wouldn't work remotely and they sorted that too. Result!! Efficient, friendly and value for money. I would definitely recommend!

would highly reccommend, saved me alot of money useing main dealers replacement car key does all locks and glove box on the key also chip in key to start 10 out of 10 guys thank you.

Free friendly advice and the staff are always happy to help.

Very helpful and good service

Excellent service from Dan and the rest of the staff at Ashley Sercurity LTD, Dan really knows his stuff even when faced with supplying plus programming a key for a car than on one else could help with . Fast and very efficient at a fraction of the price that a main dealer would charge . Massive thanks and highly recommended .

A proper locksmith with prices to match

Great supplier of quality CCTV system, Yann quoted exactly what we wanted for a good competitive price, he installed and demonstrated it to our complete satisfaction. They also changed some key locks to combination for us and again very happy with their complete service. Ken Lovell Lilliput Poole

Superb service, Dan really knows his stuff. Highly recommended A+

What a life saver! On our way to Camp Bestival and realised that we’d left the key to our roof box at home 🤦🏼‍♀️ Ashley Security sorted it out in no time with minimum fuss. Amazing service. Thank you!

New alarm system fitted ... no hassle, job well Done!

Best place to make your key, highly recommended! Don't waste your time at Timpson ,for the same key 3 times higher price (

Nice local team

Very friendly efficient and professional local company. Initially had an issue with the operation but was very quickly rectified. Would recommend them.

I Highly recommend this company we had our cctv fitted by them to our house . I got several quotes from local companies and found them to provide the best price for the whole package. I was also impressed to have received: great communication throughout by their experienced staff. Very clean and tidy workmanship. High quality picture for a very reasonable priced camera. Thanks

Try and find them on check a trade ! The latest from this company is that they refuse to fix my alarm unless I pay the bill for the last time they did not fix it. Read here : Unfortunately, due to non payment of our last invoice we will not be providing any further support or assistance with regards to your intruder alarm. We suggest you contact a different company. Kind regards. Yann. I had to put a star on here so that it looked like I hadn't forgotten to put anything. The system that was installed has never worked properly. We can not use it again as is usual. My e mails are ignored, as I have asked now several times for a refund and the system to be uninstalled so I can have it done by someone else. The monitoring centre does not call you if the alarm goes off. I know this because my neighbour called me instead. When we had a problem with the system buzzing in the house at night, I called the 24 hr service and explained no one could sleep. The response was "What do you expect me to do about it". Personally I would steer well away.

Amazing service ~we took our love k to then and it was fixed within ten minutes at a reasonable cost. They even helped carry everything to the car.

Very helpful and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Just wanted to say what an amazing service from the locksmiths, will definitely recommend to all my family and friends

Excellent locksmith service both for me with my front door and for work. We had lost many keys for locked drawers and filing cabinets and all replaced and working again at long last. Can't thank you enough x

Professional advise was given on how I could make my garage more secure and this was the place to buy reliable security locks. I will be recommending this company to my friends and family.

Good service whether visiting the shop or calling out a locksmith.

Good knowledgeable guys

Fantastic service from Ashley Security...Had 5 keys cut & they all fit...Great advice too for disposal of old keys.....x

Good honest advice and service, helpful staff

Rude and inconsiderate. Unclear about what the service was when issued. Complete inability to listen or even let you finish your sentence - the gentleman there (if that's what you can call him) just put the phone down on me. Whatever happened to 'the customer is right?' As with the comment below if I could give 0 or even minus stars I would!

Just great local service simples

Professional service..cut a key for me that many other places said couldn't be done.. 10 mins later the job was done.. very happy :)

Very poor service indeed. Even though we had our maintenance contract for our alarm system with them they said they couldn't get an engineer out to replace our faulty panel for three weeks. That is no good at all when uninsured if not alarmed. They just didn't care. If we could give 0 out of five stars we would. Absolutely awful.

Speed and efficiency was brilliant, even with a last minute house lockout..

They are amazing. The guys in the shop are so knowledgeable and the engineer arrived on time and was very pleased with the workmanship provided.
