Southern Security Services Limited

Southern Security Services were able to cut a key for me which four other businesses were unable to do. Very friendly, thorough and efficient. - Highly recommended.

Max did an excellent job with the installation, despite slightly "trying" circumstances. I highly recommend Southern Security.

The engineer came out quickly although it was not an emergency and then returned in half-term, the company's busy week. He was very good and helpful, and only needed occasional stoking up with tea and biscuits.

Booked a job with this company for a next day service. On the day of the work they sent an email to say they couldn`t do it push back for 3 days. No phone call poor service.

A new Fermax intercom entry system for a large residential building was successfully installed by Southern Security Systems Ltd. The new system’ was installed in four stages and was expertly coordinated by James. The work was implemented by the installation team to a very professional and tidy standard. The team were very friendly and cooperative during the whole process. I have no problem in recommending Southern Security Services Ltd for future work.

Nicole and all the staff are always really helpful.

Southern Security have supported us in an excellent manner ever since we moved to the area. We inherited their alarm system and it all works incredibly well. The individuals undertaking annual inspections as part of maintaining the system have always been polite and professional and gone out of their way to be helpful in maintaining the system, including the most recent one, Ryan.

Business was recommend to me and understand why. Very professional service. Fixed my broken car key quickly and went the extra mile it make sure it was exactly as it should be.

I would highly recommend this company. They are friendly, helpful and were endlessly patient with my inquiries and photos of the parts we needed. Overall a really excellent experience with a local company.

Excellent service by two very professional and helpful technicians. Were extremely patient in demonstrating how to use the equipment and checked that we were secure in the knowledge and experience they gave us before leaving. Faultless service...delighted we’ve signed up with this company.

Southern Security have recently installed an internal alarm system in our offices, and have found them to be very helpful and provided a professional service. Would definitely recommend them and we will continue to use them for our security needs.

I called this company and booked an appointment and they explained that as they were very busy they would not be able to come for three weeks which I was OK with. On the day of the appointment they called and told me that they could not attend as "something had cropped up" I agreed to move the appointment to the following week and agreed an appointment at 9am. At 9.45 no one had attended so I called them to be told that they had the appointment at a later time. I explained that this did not reflect well on their business and they suggested that I cancel the appointment? They were happy to give business away without even quoting. My conclusion is that they are either making too much money to care or are not very good business people. My experience would lead me to discourage people from bothering with this company.

Have used this company for many years for my home, always very good . Thanks to Steve and Anthony for very good, professional work.

Very impressed- chap who came to see us knew exactly what he was doing and it was quite a job, very professional and friendly and cleaned up well after the job - price reasonable as well for the work involved

Gary was very thorough in thinking through a bespoke solution and the team that fitted the gates were fantastic. Great service, thank you!

Disappointingly expensive. I was charged more than what was quoted. A 12 minute power-down job cost £94.50 incl VAT.

Can't recommend this company enough - everyone I've met have been professional, hard working and dedicated to supporting the customer. They have proven on many times they can support our ever changing business needs and they are my go too company across Dorset for anything security related.

Have used Southern Security for more than 30 years. During this time I have found them to be honest, reliable and conscientious. Highly recommended.

Needed new keys, customer services were very helpful.

Professional, quality service

They were able to do two (very essential) jobs for us during the COVID-19 lockdown. Proper safety precautions were taken at all times and the work was finished efficiently to a high standard. Their prices were reasonable too, so I'd use them again without hesitation.

Southern Security Services installed and maintain my CCTV system to a very professional standard. They also installed my security door locks. All work is executed to a very high standard. No Cowboys in this company. Highly recommended by me.

We had security cameras fitted today and the whole job was carried out very professionally. The fitters were polite and I’d have no hesitation recommending this company to anyone.

I've had the pleasure in knowing Southern Security for well over 20 years. An extremely well run family business. They deal with the maintenance and upkeep of our alarm system at my work and their engineers have always been professional and polite at all times. Highly recommend them.

Alarm problem dealt with same day, very professional and excellent service. Have used Southern Security for many years and would highly recommend them.

due to poor choice of subcontractor both front and rear wheelchair access is impossible to my property.not safe or secure and no longer covered by insurance.because of door supplied to me by this company 2 years of excuses to get this put right.still no better.very disapointed constant call outs required to still have same issues.buyers beware.

Very helpful. Gave advice and estimate then fixed our door/locks efficiently and well.

I had reason to engage your services last Friday regarding a problematic automatic door closer. The technician(Matt) who attended could not have been more professional. He had previously identified the problem from a photograph I had taken, and provided the ideal solution. Moreover, he was neat, tidy and addressed attendant snags. I could not have asked for better, and will recommend your company unreservedly. Thank you Rod Lobo

Very happy. Had to changes 2 front doors locks. Dealt with Max, super professional, friendly, fast and reasonable prices. Now I only need one key for both doors, highly recommended.

Really fast friendly service, really good communication before hand and were very knowledgeable.

Brilliant service. Our care home have used Southern Security for a few years and they have never failed us. Stuart is highly skilled, extremely professional and super friendly. The durability and longevity of our locks is testament to his brilliance. Highly recommended!

Thank you for your quick response and professionalism . Brilliant service - would highly recommend!

Called this company to come help me with an alarm I believe they had previously installed and maintain our communal system. I don’t really use it and and it decided to short and go beserk one morning, neighbours not best pleased! They attended relatively quickly and changed a fuse, at 100£ seemed like easy money. Alarm went off a couple of days later - fuse blown, this time they disabled the system. This was another early morning event so I’m pleased they came so quickly however I didn’t expect the additional £100 bill, the issue hasn’t been resolved and I’m £200 out of pocket. Called them to politely enquire about being billed twice, they weren’t very accommodating! I won’t be using them again, however I am considering a change in career!

I discovered my front door lock had jamed completely and only had to make one call. Nicole was brilliant and in no time at all their technician was on site and carried out a full repair. Couldn't have had a better service. Trevor
