Croma Locksmiths Totton

I’ve used this shop twice in the last couple of months and have to say Steve went above and beyond both times for me,customer service is second to none he is a credit to the company tfs.

Same day repair on a broken door lock, excellent service.

Helpful and experienced, great keycutting option!

Needed the Totton branch for a replacement barrel and keys for a friend who's son had lost his keys at school. The person at the branch was outstanding going above and beyond to help us on the phone and even offered to wait after closing if we were later getting there. He was an absolute credit to your company. Thank you so much for your help.

I visited this shop to obtain new internal door latches. The level of service I received was very good. I was able to return a latch that didn't fit and the owner then sourced the correct size for me. I would visit this shop again in the future for similar locks and door furniture.

Having been to an alternative company, to cut some keys and being told I was too late in the day (even though they didn’t close for another hour), I decided to drive further and try SSL. So glad that I did. The guy was extremely helpful and was happy to help, even though they were closing in 20 minutes. Customer service is hard to find, but I found it today at Southern Stronghold. Keep up the great work !!!! Thank you.

Best place to get your key cut. Only £5.70 for a standard key in 2023 (other keys may be much more). Good selection of locks at good prices. Loads of cool key related things great customer service

Great service from the man behind the counter today. Really helpful and informative. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Steve at Southern Stronghold has been looking after us for many years now and is always a fountain of knowledge. He's helped with some obscure things we've needed such as key cabinets and door handles and we've never had a key cut here that we had to return as it didn't work which is amazing.

Super, smashing , great 👍 Cut my chipped auto key in 5 minutes, no more 💥

Dependable

Managed to cut me a new key for my bike using the key code, saved me hundreds of pounds on new locks. Friendly, knowledgeable and quick service. Perfect

Great service very helpful and friendly

Very helpful and went the full 9 yards to help me out

What a find! I had an unusual shape key and he was able to duplicate it.

Knowledgeable guy and very helpful

Get the job done professionally and swiftly. Highly recommended!

Very helpful

Very good local lock dealer, good service and helpful.

Very helpful staff.

Very good service and value for money prices. Good value in all.

Guy was really helpful and pointed me in the right direction although he was very rude to a girl who came in behind me. Price was higher than anywhere else charges but it was very handy not to have to travel further to somewhere busy during these times. I probably wouldn’t return unless I needed advice.

Excellent service and very knowledgeable!

Steve was really helpful and went out of his way to locate the correct handle we needed. Very good base knowledge.

Have been a few times, they are always very helpful. Would recommend, their work is great also very pleasant people.👍👍

Very friendly and efficient service. 👍🏻

Quick and easy, competitive price. Nice staff

Excellent service as usual ,very professional and helpful and polite .they go that one step further.recommend to anyone.thank-you

Needed an unusual key cut. They didn't have the blank to do the job and I was told it wasn't worth their while ordering any. I thought maybe he was having a bad day, so I asked if I could order the blanks or pay his costs? No. I asked where I could get the key cut. No idea was the answer. I asked if he had any solution, maybe replace the lock? Not interested. I visited what I thought was an expert, unfortunately they were unhelpful and rude. I don't know where else to go, but don't recommend these people.

Needed some keys for my new hair salon and can honestly say was the best customer service I have received from a company in a very long time! Highly recommend to anyone. So impressed. Many thanks Jo

Very good service had blanks for my Honda Motorcycle

Have used these for many years for keys, car key batteries. Went in for a car key battery for my Vectra. Guy wasn't interested and didn't want to know. Won't be going back there again

Very helpful with advice and supply of new security locks. Highly recommend.

Very quick

The place to get yours keys lock etc sorted

Went to cut three sets of keys. The guys were very friendly and helpful. Im surprised to read some negative comments below..

I went into Southern Stronghold today hoping to get my key copied. The man told me that the key I had was "Cheap Chinese rubbish"and couldn't be replaced so my only solution was to replace the whole lock unit! Fortunately logic kicked in and I had the sense to get a second opinion,I tried the nearest other locksmith I could think of(the small shop in the Marlands center)they copied the key easily in less than a minute and it works perfectly! I don't know whether the chap in Totton is less skillful or simply has less resources at his disposal but either way what he told me was nonsense. I won't be going back there!

Have used Southern Stronghold on multiple occasions over the last 15 years for everything from high security locks and safes to key cutting and have always had helpful, unbiased service. Why go anywhere else?
