Paul Thomas Painter and Decorator

Paul has done an incredible job on our room that we are turning into an office. He was punctual, a very clean and tidy worker, his attention to detail and professionalism really stood out for us and his work is high quality. We are so pleased with the work and will be asking Paul to come back in 2026 for some further decorating. We would 100% recommend Paul. 👍🏻

Fantastic job and pleasure to have Paul and Mike in our home

We're so happy with the work Paul did in our baby girl's room! 🤩 He helped us choose the perfect wallpaper and brought our idea to life exactly how we imagined. Super quick, tidy, and the finish is just perfect! Our little Julia will love her room for sure!! 🩷 Couldn't recommend him enough - thank you, for everything! 🙏🏻

Paul has just finished decorating our kitchen and honestly it looks brand new! His work is incredibly meticulous and the attention to detail is brilliant. Turned up on time and left the house clean and tidy everyday. Would absolutely recommend him and looking forward to him coming back to decorate our hallway and landing once it's been replastered. Thanks again Paul!

What a fantastic job!!! The painting and wallpaper hanging look have brightened up the rooms and have a professional finish. Paul is so helpful, and nothing was to much trouble. He was clean and tidy and very personable. We are over the moon with the outcome. So much so Paul has been asked to decorate the rest of the property. Thank you Paul you have been brilliant all round!! Posted for my parents.

Paul is a true professional and master of his craft and although he has a waiting list be patient and wait for him and you will not be disappointed. He has just completed decorating our lounge/diner, hall, stairs, landing and downstairs toilet that had water damage due to a leak. The finish is impeccable and all done within the time scale of 5 days! Paul is reliable, punctual, a clean and tidy worker, has respect for your property and above all of this trustworthy. We look forward to having Paul back later in the year to decorate our bedroom. Thank you Paul for your hard work and getting our house back in order.

Paul has just finished decorating three rooms for us. He did a great job. He was punctual, efficient, worked methodically and effectively and cleaned up at the end of each day . He was respectful to us, our home and the dog. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. We have already booked him to do more work for us.

First time using Paul. High praise from other reviews fully merited. Produced a timely and very reasonable quote and fitted us in at short notice. Has been with us over 11 days and has painted and decorated the outside of our cottage windows and sills. Always prompt, very professional, a clean and tidy worker and we are delighted with his work. Very easy to get on with and what a lovely chap (ex military as I am). We have developed a friendship and will certainly be using him again in the future. Many thanks Paul!

Paul is not only a friend and neighbour, he is the best painter/ decorator that I have had the pleasure to know. His attention to detail is second to none, his work is meticulous, and he is honest and helpful with regard to ideas and planning. I have utilised Paul's services a few times now and have never been disappointed. He will always be my first choice of decorator. He is professional, prompt and precise, but he is also popular so make sure to book in early! Thank you Paul.

Paul started decorating for us a year ago where we required painting and wall papering. We had never met Paul before or knew of his ability. I can whole heartedly say that Paul is the best decorator we have ever had work for us. His work is impeccable, his professionalism is way above the bar and his project close out is next to none. Paul has a waiting list but to be honest I would wait for Paul than let anyone into my property. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic job. From the initial specification to the prep, painting and wallpapering throughout, Paul and Mike have done an outstanding job. Attention to detail, workmanship and professionalism is second to none. I love it! I would thoroughly recommend them.

Last week we had our hall, lounge, landing and stairs decorated by Paul Thomas. Poor guy had his work cut out with stains and cracks which had received no attention in 18 years! He’s transformed our house! Paul worked quickly and thoroughly and we are thrilled with his work. A very respectful guy who we trusted in our home. He kept us up to date each day with what he had done and left our home clean and tidy. We would thoroughly recommend him to anyone and we’ve already mentioned more work to him in our kitchen! Thanks a million Paul!

Excellent! We are very happy with the three rooms we needed doing! We had cracks in both ceilings upstairs and a few holes in the walls from the previous owner and they are now gone with no trace! Has really brightened the place up! Paul & Stu were very easy to deal with and very trustworthy! Would highly recommend! Cheers

Amazing work!! Paul came round and gave us a very reasonable quote for our lounge and master bedroom. We had a rough idea of what we wanted but Paul was great with offering advice on paint choices etc.. He fit us in with really short notice and the work was carried out and completed in just 3 days whilst continuing with other work! We absolutely love the result and can’t wait to get the rest of the house done! Would definitely recommend Paul to anyone, thanks again!

The best decorators we've ever had. So professional and with absolute precision, the lines on our feature walls are perfection! We are so impressed and very grateful, work areas were vacuumed and everything got tidied away at the end of the day. This made our family spaces usable and comfortable throughout. Paul & Mike are professional, punctual and do an absolutely fantastic job, it's changed the feel of our home. We have already rebooked them to do the exterior of our home and the remaining internal rooms in the autumn. Brilliant work and value for money, would highly recommend.

Paul & Mike did an amazing job. All wallpaper stripped and all walls scraped, filled and painted to an exceptionally high standard. I was quoted a timeline-The work was finished three weeks early. Good value for the amount of work involved. Would highly recommend and will be using them again to carry out some additional work. Thanks Gentlemen.

Excellent service from Paul and Mike. Our three year old new build was in need of a re paint after all the settling / drying out. Paul and Mike made good, painted all internal walls, ceilings and wood work to a high standard. Great communication, friendly and professional. Thank you very much!

Paul’s communication from the very beginning was fantastic and continued throughout. He was an absolute joy to have in our home! My husband and I are incredibly happy with the finished result, his attention to detail is impeccable! We’ll definitely hire Paul for future projects - If you’re looking for unbelievably good quality standard of work, someone you can completely trust in your home, that is 100% reliable, hire Paul, he’s golden!

We could not be happier with Paul and Mikes work on our home, we needed wallpaper removed, walls and ceilings plastered, and all walls, ceilings and woodwork painted in our entranced lounge, landing and up the stairs. All communication was great, rapid responses, really set out expectations with timelines and kept us up to date, they sourced the plasterers and they have been a pleasure to have in our home this last week. We knew if we had done this job ourselves we would not get the finish we want and Paul & Mike have exceeded our expectations, the finish is amazing we literally cannot fault a single thing. We also work from home and have a dog yet we didn’t have any interruptions to our days and they made it as easy as possible for us to live our life normal. AND THEY HAVE LEFT IT SO CLEAN!!! I don’t think our carpet has ever been so well hoovered! Thank you so much for helping make our house a home, I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Turned up on the date agreed weeks before to repaint our exterior woodwork. Was on site for 6 weeks and during that time transformed our neglected large Edwardian house. All woodwork sanded, filled and prepared and in some cases rescued very well and finished with several coats of paint. End result was stunning. Paul worked non stop and diligently. A serious worker and very easy to get on with which makes life easier when someone is around for six weeks. He had our full trust. No corners were cut. I have no hesitation in recommending him and his work

Quick response and very competitive quote . Just accepted with September booked in .

Could not recommend enough! Meticulous and beautiful work, lots of care and attention given. On time, efficient, tidy and lovely too :) If you want a good and thorough job done - look no further! Thanks so much again, kate

Paul, and his colleague Mike, did a fantastic job of painting our hallway and landing. They had to deal with the horrid turquoise paint we inherited when we moved in and lots of dints and cracks in the walls and ceiling. They completed it all to a very high standard, with a smile on their faces and friendly banter. They were friendly, efficient and so very good at clearing up after themselves. We are so pleased with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Paul and Mike painted our hallway, bannisters, and balustrades, converting the latter from traditional mahogany to modern white. The completed job was excellent in terms of their care and standard of workmanship. They were punctual, courteous and extremely tidy, clearing everything away each night. I would highly recommend them. Allan of Littledown.

Paul painted both the outside of my house and also my kitchen. On both occasions he done a fantastic job, great value and on time the jobs were completed to a high standard I would highly recommend! With painting you’re always worried about the mess, not Paul he cleaned up after himself and left the place as he found it. I will 100% use Paul again for the next painting job.

Paul and Mike took on the job of completely repainting my whole house. They helped me work out the best colours in a couple of rooms. Their attention to detail was first class. Paul and his colleague Mike were able to fit us in last minute to do a complete interior decorating job on a three bedroom bungalow. The work included all walls and ceilings in all the rooms and was done to an excellent standard, even though they had to work around other trades that were constantly in the rooms. They both managed to complete the work in time and on budget and were professional throughout with great time keeping. Overall I highly recommend them both and will certainly use them again in the future.

Plus his work is fantastic. He also helped me with choosing colours! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and will definitely use him again in the future for any decorating needs. Paul & Mike did the interior and exterior decorating for our ‘fairly major’ building work. They were a pleasure to work with and very professional and flexible - working to accommodate when the builder didn’t quite have areas ready and leaving us with a high standard of finish throughout. We would highly recommend!

Paul did a fantastic job. We're doing a full renovation and Paul has worked with us to get things done around the other works going on. Paul was clean and efficient and besides almost every room in the house being a different colour, you'd never have known anyone had been here! We would 100% recommend Paul, and have already booked in to get the kitchen done when the building work is finished.

Paul did a fabulous job in double quick time as I’d requested. Totally dedicated to a quality job and focused on keeping me appraised on issues as the project continued. The results were excellent and I’d thoroughly recommend Paul to anyone looking to brighten their home. He came up with great suggestions that I followed and I’m very happy with the results. Let’s start with the fundamentals- Paul’s work is exemplary. His attention to detail even exceeds this extremely fussy customer’s expectations. But more than just this, he is courteous, punctual, tidy and fastidious. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has completed both external and internal decorating projects for me and each time I have been delighted with the quality of workmanship.

We have used Paul & Mike on several occasions and they have decorated the entire house top to bottom. They are both genuine, honest, professional and helpful guys. Nothing is ever to much trouble and if you need advice on for example colour ideas they are always helpful. We would definitely use the guys again in the future.
