MJL decorating services ltd

Another great job by Matt, this time reviving our fitted bathroom furniture. The finish is lovely and it all looks as good as new again.

Delighted with our newly hand painted kitchen. Workmanship was excellent with immaculate attention to detail. Very friendly, helpful, punctual service, would highly recommend.

Matt has worked his magic again in our house, this time with our study and hall/landing/stairs. The paints he uses and his skill and diligence make for a perfect finish and look. On top of which he is very trustworthy and loves dogs! We would recommend him very highly!

This is the third time we have used Matt to redecorate our flat. As always we are very pleased with the quality of his work. He always arrived on time, was friendly, helpful, and attention to detail was excellent and would highly recommend his services

Matt is very tidy, professional and reliable. He is honest and has great workmanship. I would absolutely recommend Matt/MJL to anyone.

Matt has done amazing job. The colour drenching in my cloakroom looks incredible. We’ve had a lot of our home done by Matt, won’t use anyone else now!

Matt has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. His attention to detail and thorough prep work clearly show he knows his craft inside out. He was flexible and accommodating when we made changes along the way, and managed to work seamlessly around other trades even when schedules slipped. The quality of finish is exceptional, we’re really pleased with the results. We’d have no hesitation recommending Matt, and will definitely be asking him back for future work.

Fantastic service from Matt. He did a wonderful job of repainting our kitchen, and it now looks like new again! Highly recommended :-)

Excellent communication and a top notch job completed.

Very happy with Matt’s work! He was thorough and paid great attention to detail. Our new kitchen looks fantastic and everything was left spotless. Professional and really helpful from start to finish. We’re very grateful and would definitely recommend.

Matt is an outstanding painter. He has great attention to detail. His preparation is thorough and this shows in the excellent final result. He’s an extremely nice guy and his prices are reasonable. I unreservedly recommend him!

Excellent quality of hand painting our new kitchen. Difficult colours and the finish is perfect. Matt was also very nice to have in the house. Clean and tidy. I would highly recommend.

Matt has done a fabulous job painting our kitchen. His attention to detail is first class and he is extremely neat and tidy. The finished article is receiving a lot of admiration. Cheers Matt.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Matt for his decorating services. He is a pleasure to deal with and his work exceptional.

Our bespoke oak kitchen was painted beautifully, with meticulous care and attention to detail. We highly recommend Matt for a well planned and quality finish. The room was left spotless once he’d finished, too.

Matt always does a great job and works with us to come up with a solution that fits our timescales and budget. He gets on with the job at hand and checks in periodically for a thumbs up to make sure we're always happy. If you need a decorator who knows their stuff, is tidy and can be trusted, Matt's the guy.

I can’t recommend MJL highly enough! The finish on our kitchen was absolutely perfect, exactly as we had envisioned, and the paint matched our kitchen beautifully. Always so friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to accommodate every request.

Matt was first class from his initial quote to completion. His work is to a very high standard, he protected work surfaces and flooring before he started and cleaned up after himself daily. Matt's quote was competitive, the works were completed in the timescale provided. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Matt hand painted our new wooden kitchen, having been recommended by our kitchen fitters. He was very helpful from the start of the project, offering advice on different paint finishes and products. He was with us for two weeks and his attention to detail was excellent. He was flexible working around other trades and very pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Matt.

Matt is a highly professional and skilled decorator. He spent five days working on our new kitchen and the results are amazing. He is really easy to get along with and a very interesting family man. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend his workmanship. Thanks again, Andrew & Gill Terry.

Matt did a fantastic job of painting our office. We chose two colours, one on the feature cladded wall which works really well together - Matt was always helpful, tidy and great to communicate with throughout. Would 100% recommend and will be having him back to complete the rest of the house.

We are always really pleased with MJLs services, but you might need to book some time in advance as he is in serious demand due to recommendations for the quality of his work. Matt is open and honest in his pricing with no hidden surprises and we have always been delighted with the end product, having had the entire house done from top to bottom, including a full kitchen re-paint and even some outside woodwork to match new windows. He is accurate in his timescales, extremely tidy and uses an extraction machine to really reduce dust and mess. Communication is good. Its been great to find a really genuine reliable tradesperson who takes huge pride in his work. We were able to just leave Matt at our home to get on with things whilst we were out. I can recommend MJL (Matt) without reservation for anyone looking for a great decorating service. He loves tea !!

Matt responded the same day and fitted us in at short notice. Matt hung wallpaper in our lounge, we are really pleased and highly recommend. We will definitely use Matt again.

We have used Matt on a number of occasions, and he has decorated individual rooms, though to the whole of our new home both inside and out. Matt most recently painted our newly fitted kitchen and his attention to detail is second to none. We highly recomend.

We have used MJL decorating on a number of occasions now and Matthew is absolutely brilliant. Clean, punctual, really a pleasure to have around and does a phenomenal job. Highly recommended.

Matt transformed our kitchen. It was an oak and oak effect kitchen units. The colour is now Slaked lime deep with livid from Little Greene on the island. Not only did Matt paint the units he ensured that the rough edges which had naturally occured in 17 years were corrected. Attention to detail is Matts trade mark. Such is the quality of his work I have asked him to return for other painting projects. Matts decorating is quality and at a reasonable price. Thank you Matt.

Matt was very professional and advised us the correct paste to use with our specific wall paper. He even discussed our options with how we needed to trim the wall paper to make it fit. He cleaned up after himself too!

Matt did a fantastic job on our kitchen. It had a few issues with water damage and a past repair. No trace of any of them now. Very clean and tidy will definitely use again.

MJL give excellent service. We had Matt paint our downstairs hallway, stairs, and upstairs landing about a year ago and had him back last week (Feb 2022) to paint our main bedroom. He did a very thorough preparation job - that alone took a day - filling in cracks sealing around windows, and smoothing / sanding the walls. He also papered one wall and you cannot even see where the individual sheets meet. His estimate was accurate. He is a very quiet worker with no radio blaring the whole time. I heartily recommend Matt!

Matt was very efficient and organised. He painted our kitchen on time and to a high standard. I would recommend him to family and friends.

After a little DIY mishap, Matt did an amazing job decorating the nursery for our baby girl in time for her to use it. He has completely transformed the room! The walls were in a terrible condition before he started but now it all looks so beautiful.
