Mi Decor Professional Painting & Decorating Specialist

Highly recommended. We were very impressed by our dealings with Mi Decor. Mike carried out all the work in what was quite an extensive project to an extremely high standard, he works in a very clean and tidy way and he adhered to his promised timetable.

I would recommend without hesitation and would use him again. Mike hand painted 25 year old kitchen cabinets and the end result is first class. His workmanship, professionalism and attention to detail are outstanding. He was always punctual and left the area tidy before leaving each day. The project was well planned and communicated, delivered on time and on budget. A top bloke and a pleasure to have working in your home!

Mike has recently painted our hall, landing and stairs and we are absolutely delighted with the result. The care and attention to detail was second to none and the finish is top notch. He was a delight to have in the home, very friendly, professional and focused on the job. Everything was left clean and tidy at the end of each day and immaculate at the end of the project. Punctuality was superb – you could set your watch by him. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mike to anyone and he would be the first person we would call if we needed further work done.

I’m delighted with the painting and decorating Mike has done for me in Putney. He’s been incredibly diligent about treating damp and stain blocking and the finish is highly professional. Mike worked on my house whilst I was away on holiday and provided regular updates so I could see the progress. The house was left clean and tidy every day. I would highly recommend Mi Decor Ltd

A model professional through and through. Clear concise communications and the quality of Mike's work is without doubt the best I have seen in many decades. I would recommend his services to everyone who I know would value the preparations and workmanship he delivers on above all others.

Very pleased with the service! Everything was handled perfectly—fast, affordable, and with great communication from the owner. Highly recommend!

Mike recently repainted the ceilings with water-damaged areas in my home and his service was truly outstanding. He was punctual, super friendly and easy to work with, and took great care to keep the work area clean and organized. He communicated clearly throughout the process, explained every step of his work in advance and came well prepared. He also pays close attention to the details and ensures that every aspect of his work is of the highest quality. I’m very happy with the results and the ceilings look perfect now. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone in need of high-quality painting services.

Mike has done a lot of decorating jobs for me and he is the only decorator I use because his work is of such a high standard. He is a perfectionist and really cares about doing the best job possible. He is completely reliable.....always arrives on time, is very careful about causing the minimum of disruption in the house, is thoroughly trustworthy, helpful and reliable. He is passionate about his work and I often ask his advice ......and take it!

I'm delighted with my bathroom cupboard that Martyn spray painted. Great service. I'll definitely use mi decorating again

Mike did a first class job of painting our flat in 10 days. We are very happy with all aspects of his work and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Hallway Transformation Long Ditton. Mike has completed this work and we are delighted with the result. Preparation was thorough and he achieved a superb finish with the paintwork. He has expert knowledge of paints and finishes. He was punctual and cleared away each day. He is a very pleasant person and his work is superior to anything we have seen before. Always the perfect outcome and beautifully executed. Mike is a true craftsman.

Mike is a fantastic decorator and does a high quality job every time I have used him. Hugely knowledgable and very professional. He just decorated my kitchen and the outside rear kitchen windows and doors - thoroughly recommend.

Highly recommend Mike, did interior painting in our home, his work meets the highest quality standards, works efficiently, leaving the home in pristine condition afterwards.

I have worked with many painters over the years but none match the quality and care Mike applies to his work. He is incredibly knowledgeable about how to ensure the walls are properly prepared before applying the right paint. He advised us on how to prevent several issues we had faced with water stains and cracks, and worked tirelessly to complete the work in the time he had given us. Most importantly- the work is spotless. The floors, furniture, artwork were carefully protected and he left the place spotless every day. Moreover he is incredibly polite and engaged easily with the whole- I will hire him again in the future. I have seldom been impressed by good workmanship and he stands out in his profession.

It was great working with Mike, He redo rated my front door and frame to the highest standards possible, a real piece of art. Mike is a pro, a perfectionist who loves his job and want to be proud of his work. He came highly recommended by close friends and I surely know why. Am using Mike for more decoration work at the moment.

Mike redecorated our staircases into the first floor and loft, as well as walls and ceilings. He also painted our front door including frames. He worked in our home while we were away and sent us weekly reports. Cracks in the plaster were meticulously repaired and the surfaces were sanded and prepared before painting. We specifically asked if he could make sure the treads were safe underfoot so we won’t need to fit a carpet runner and the final result is just perfect! As a second job in our home, Mike painted the cabin in our garden and refurbished our wooden side gate. He researched the best products to offer wood protection and best finish and then mixed the paints in our chosen RAL colours. The finished work is excellent and we are confident it will last for years.

michal jacek is an exceptional painter. he is also an excellent communicator and project manager. these qualities i have found to be rare. he is a true craftsman and someone who cares about the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his customers. i could not recpommend him more highly in every way.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Mike decorating for us and he did an excellent job. We are extremely happy with our redecorated bedroom which had been badly damaged by rain pouring through the roof. Mike is keen to do the very best job that he can for you, very polite and friendly and cleans up fully after finishing his work. We would happily use him again and would recommend him highly to anyone.

Unrivalled Professional There really are no words to describe Mi Decor work & professionalism. What a find! After receiving several quotes there was no doubt that to appoint Mike was the right decision. My son liaised with Mike who reported back daily on the progress of the job in hand. A ground floor apartment - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen & a very large lounge/diner family room. I am absolutely delighted with the end result. Mike's work has been much admired. His advice & consideration to my neighbours & the property in general was noted and appreciated. You do indeed 'get what you pay for' and Mike was worth every penny. If you ask Mike to quote you will not be disappointed in appointing him as your chosen decorator. It is with many thanks and my pleasure to leave a review that is worthy of Mi Decor work and standing in his profession.

This was the first time I used Mike. I was under pressure of time to get a house ready for rent and he not only responded by coming out at very short notice but resolved the issues at hand with knowledge and great expertise. Definitely will use him again.

Water damage redecorating work This is the third time that we have used Mike to decorate in our flat, after water damage to paintwork. Every time he has been extremely professional, replies quickly, and arrives on time. The work is always high quality, neat, and he tidies up afterwards. We would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Have used Mike for my house interior painting in Cobham. I have to say that he is the best painter and decorator I used so far. Very professional with good attention to details. He was also always on time, which is very important for me. I can only recommend his services - 5 stars service. Thanks

"Man with a plan" Mike is the best trader I know. He is an extremely positive and hard-working person. Terminator will die within one day of working alongside him. I won’t describe him and his knowledge because his clients have done it best many times. He provides the best services for his clients. When they get to know him they wouldn’t go anywhere else as they realize there isn’t anything as good as his services. Painting & decorating is his passion and many years of experience made him a real fast player on this market. What makes him an awesome person is his selfless energy to help other traders and Painting & Decorating as a community.

I wouldn’t really know where to start... Mike is not only the best decorator I ever met but also an incredible and knowledgeable tradesperson. In the same time a great friend too. When it comes to decorating you are in the best hands here. If you are looking for quality, professionalism, decorating advice and extremely reliable service. Please look no further. Mike will give you the best experience possible. He just simply doesn’t compare to others. As a building contractor working in high-end properties for over a decade I came across many decorating individuals, small and big contractors and to be fair not many could offer the same services as Mike. What I love about him is that he actually really cares about the finish of his work, your budget, timing and above all beautiful and long lasting results that goes hand in hand with your satisfaction. You can be assured that once you use his service you will never look elsewhere. Thank you Mike and wish you all the best. (Martin from premiumdesignconstruction.ltd)

Mike is passionate and reliable professional painter with an incredible knowledge of his trade. He's got a deep understanding of the best products and practices allowing him to achieve outstanding quality, lasting effects. Being a tradesperson myself I was very impressed seeing his work.

Mike is a true professional, and has just completed on time the work we requested him to do, painting all our kitchen cabinets and decorating the walls and paintwork in two adjoining rooms as well. He has completed all the work to an impressively high standard, he is not content with anything less than perfect, and we are very pleased with the result. Mike is an expert painter and decorator, and uses equipment and techniques which minimise the dust and disruption which this type of work often entails. Mike is an excellent communicator, and a thoroughly trustworthy and reliable tradesman, whom we would wholeheartedly recommend.

I've worked together with Mike on many projects and couldn't recommend him more. He's very knowledgeable about the trade and super professional in everything he does.

After meeting Mi Decor on one of my projects and seeing how they work, i recommended him to one of my clients. Mike fully restored a huge walk in wardrobe for my clients using a high tech spraying system and pioneering air filtering system. Mike fully protected and masked the area and spent a long time sanding the area with his dustless sanding set up which not only kept dust from affecting our work but also our health The finish end result is a very high standard which is not easy to achieve (there are 'good' finishes and there are top pro finishes) and my clients are over the moon I can highly recommend Mi Decor!

A couple of years ago, Mike painted the exterior of our house and I wrote glowing reviews, including him being the best craftsman, of any trade, that we have ever employed. Now, he has just completed 4 rooms of interior decoration for us, and our regard for Mike has not changed, if anything is even higher. The fact that we allowed the long-ago booked interior decorating to go ahead, given these COVID times, is testament to our trust in Mike. He is meticulous in all things, including protecting our health and safety. Mike did hall, toilet, dinning and sitting rooms, all surfaces and built-in cupboards, including some significant wall repair and replastering. He ensured that dust and dirt was kept to a minimum, using some sophisticated air filtration equipment and careful protection of furniture and shelving units (meaning that large numbers of books, vinyl records, CD, etc did not need to me moved). His preparation work is very thorough (I lost track of how many coats of sealer, primer, undercoat, etc were applied), and his top-coat applications are highly skilled. The materials Mike uses are knowledgably and carefully selected, and of the highest quality. The end results are excellent, in all respects. I wholeheartedly recommend his services.

Reading other reviews here and on Checkatrade gave me confidence to contact Mike requesting a quote to paint the exterior of our building which was in a poor state. From the moment I met him I knew I had found an absolute gem. I had never felt so confident of a worker before. Friendly, bright, professional, knows his stuff and totally passionate to do the best job possible. He uses best materials and equipment for the job. Arriving punctually every morning he worked without so much as a break across the whole day, never wilted or paused in spite of working outside against a bright white wall in scorching 32 degrees sunshine for hours on end. In the morning he'd summarise what he'd do that day, and at the end of the day he talked & walked me through what he'd done...At the end of the week he provided photographs of the works' progression. He's been absolutely BRILLIANT, a joy to have around with his honest cheerful personality, and works like a Trojan producing amazing results. I have no hesitation in recommending him. He's outstanding.

Mike's attention to detail is second to none. He responds to every question and was a pleasure to deal with. The quality of his work is exceptional and the rooms look beautiful with a high quality professional finish.

Mike has done a fantastic job on my living room and downstairs cloakroom. The quality of his work is superb and the result is fantastic. He is the tidiest and cleanest workman I have ever had in the house and I have found him 100% trustworthy and reliable. I look forward to him doing more work for me.

Outside decorating Wooden rotting Gable / Roof Apex / Window Sills / Ledges - wood repair and remediation. External balcony wooden sideboards repair, metal railings repainted. Mike has again more than proven his stellar reputation in completing the agreed work scope to the highest possible standards. Its not just his fabulous work ethic and attitude but also a function of his extensive expertise in a wide variety of materials / processes and his perfectionism in applying the latest techniques and materials and his top of the range investment in equipment for wood refurbishment/replacement and painting / redecoration that produces a product that cant be matched ! I would recommend him for any future work, if you are lucky enough to find a gap in his future schedule.

Mike has just completed the final part of my house renovation As always his work is first class - no short cuts, everything done beautifully. He has transformed the staircase, hall, landing and porch and painted and sanded the living area floor. Mike plans everything carefully in advance with no last-minute changes, and as usual he has been super-punctual despite traffic and weather problems. He has kept me updated with before and after photos at the end of each part of the job. I am delighted with my 'new' house!

We have used Mike's services twice now, as we were very happy the first time. He is always very professional and friendly, and all the work was completed efficiently. We would definitely recommend him! He removed mould from our bathroom ceiling and re-decorated and protected the ceiling and walls.

We moved into our flat in early April this year and, based on our past experience of his work, decided to wait until early September when Mike was available to redecorate our new home. Besides being passionate about his work as a painter/decorator, Mike is very punctual, hardworking, reliable and never compromises on quality even if it means spending more time on perfectly finishing the job. He goes about his work quietly, moving furniture, books etc as required to protect them before starting and puts things back after completing the job. We are happy to strongly recommend Mike to friends

This is the third project Mike has done for me, and as always he did an absolutely outstanding job. The quality of his work and attention to detail is second to none. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and I trust his advice on paints/ finishes implicitly. He's super polite and courteous and is genuinely the most reliable (and most cheerful!) tradesman I've ever come across.

Mike Jacek is meticulous in his work and in keeping his clients informed at every stage. He was a pleasure to deal with.

We engaged Mike to repaint our kitchen units, walls and woodwork and he did a fantastic job. By the time he had finished with our units they had gone from looking tired and battered to those found in a kitchen show room. He was always on time, very tidy and so accommodating, especially when having to work around a young family. I would thoroughly recommend Mike and we will be using him again.

Mike is a real professional. He is always punctual. He minimises dust and general disruption whilst he works. His painting & decorating skills and the materials used, are of the highest standard. His attention to detail is impressive. I would highly recommend him.

Mike did a fantastic job painting our kitchen and hallway. He is very professional and delivers a very high standard of work at competative prices. I would highly recommend Mike.

Mike is a total perfectionist and wants to make sure the client is happy with the end product. He really takes a lot of pride in his work and proactively finds solutions to any problems or tricky spots. He painted our newly refurbished first floor flat as well as refinished our staircase. He is very polite, shows up on time and is very reliable. He is great with colors so is happy to talk through any ideas you may have. He works really hard when he's onsite and leaves everything clean and tidy when he leaves. He's just really pleasant to have around and it was lovely to work with such a professional.

Mike provided a great service and was already ready to offer sensible and practical advice. He is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about painting products and techniques. He used a spray finish in my lounge which gave fantastic results with no mess and very little paint smell. He works quickly and unobtrusively and always tidies up thoroughly. He was a pleasure to have around and we will certainly be using him again.
