Urban Pest Control Ltd

Urban Pest Control have been excellent today. Josh called me straight away, after I called the office. He was also able to come to my address in the next couple of hours. As I was out, and the wasp's nest was accessable from the garden, I simply sent Josh some instructions on how to get here and he completed the job. He was really helpful and called me when he was done. Josh is very polite and professional, it was a pleasure to talk to him. Thank you 😁

After calling Urban Pest Control Ltd, Matt arrived in 30 mins to check out our wasp issue. He saw that it wasn’t a nest and gave excellent advice on how to manage the problem (wasps attracted to sap on tree) which was much appreciated. Having tried other companies been dealing with UPC for a couple of years now. They’re local, very knowledgeable and Andy has resolved our rat infestation problem with a visit last week and a top up today. Very good service at a decent price.

I called up in regards to a bird problem, I was told i’d be ‘better off calling a roofer’ I’m sorry but I’ve used pest control companies before for bird issues and I’ve never been told that before. A pest control company that doesn’t deal with birds? This may be a surprise, but birds do fly up to high spaces!

09/04/2026. Thank you very much guys for a very professional seagull deterrent- we are very satisfied with the way the work was carried out and would have no hesitation recommending Urban.

Josh from Urban Pest Control came out the same day and was very knowledgeable/professional and calming to the situation! Whilst here he also treated my neighbours garden who had been seeing the rats as well! Josh came back at an agreed time a week later to review the situation and to our delight with only one treatment, it appears we have dealt with the issue. I would highly recommend Urban Pest Control and will be using them again if ever required.

In the meantime the lawn was not being disturbed. On his return we found one of the traps had been dug up and had disappeared. The assumption was a fox had found something in it and gone off with it. Urban Pest Control and Andrew in particular who has a friendly professional approach did a great job in getting rid of my problem. Highly recommend, pity about the trap

This was 2 inspection visits for suspected Bee infestation in loft conversion roof space, since there was a lot of bee activity in one location externally on the roof and bee noise seemed very clear inside the house. As it happened, once they used a telescopic camera, turns out there was no sign of a hive or bees in the roof space. Felt I’d wasted their time but the two guys who came couldn’t have been nicer. I’m keeping an eye on my roof and chimney stack for any future bee activity and will definitely use them again if needed.

I have used Urban before and have always found them friendly and professional. Wayne is extremely personable and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

We had a huge wasp nest in the loft, with the wasps accessing it at the top of a valley between two roof areas - hard to reach without specialist kit. The wasps were in the loft and getting through to the bedrooms. Wayne from Urban had the necessary equipment to give two doses of powder, and within a few days of treatment the loft was clear and all activity ceased. A totally professional job at a very reasonable price.

Came out within 3 hours of our call which we appreciated very much as we were about to go on holiday when we heard scratching above us! From the initial survey and advice by Andrew and the clearance, cleaning and disinfecting of the area by Josh and Wayne everything was done in a really professional and thorough way. Fantastic service from Ray who came, diagnosed and sorted our problem, putting our minds at ease. We had thought we had a carpenter ant infestation but turned out just to be damp and other issues we knew about already, mixed with a colony of 'normal' ants. I was especially impressed that he went out of the way to deal with the issue in a manner that would have as little impact on other insect/animal life as possible. Very professional service from Ray and Kelly in the office and will definitely use for any future issues.

Brilliant! Arrived within half an hour and sorted the wasps, great value too!!

I called Urban Pest Control because I had squirrels in the eaves of my property. They came within a couple of days if my call. Josh dealt with the problem and they were eradicated after 4 visits. He is now dealing with another pest issue he encountered during his visits and which at the moment is ongoing. Josh is a very pleasant young man, very reliable, knowledgeable, thorough and efficient. I would highly recommend him and the company to anyone with a pest problem.

The team were extremely professional, kind and understanding of the issue. Absolutely fantastic and quick response, they identified the sources and could not have been quicker to advise the letting agents with the solutions, they also found contributing factors from adjacent properties and advised on them, it was probably outside the scope of why they were called, but great to see since it was contributing to my properties issues and demonstrates there commitment to cure the cause not just the problem. Would recommend them.

Very happy with the service received from Ryan. This service is highly responsive and does an excellent job. Ryan was on time for both appointments, he carried out a thorough inspection during both visits to my client and was able to sort the problem out within days. Happy client, happy Carer, happy house! Thank you Ryan for taking the time with us when our questions had a wide range and were mostly off topic. Job well done!

Urban Pest Control inspected around the house, found several ants nests, sprayed around the house and provided gel pots to place in areas that cannot be sprayed (our strawberry plants and in house hot spots). Have used Urban pest control a few times now and are very friendly and if they can help they will.

We've used Urban Pest Control a few times over the years for ants and a rat. They were great, came to have a look at the issue explained what they were going to do, and what to look out for/do from our part. Very professional and friendly and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone needing their services.

Got the team in to remove a very well hidden seagull's nest on the roof before they attempt to nest again for the season and to install deterrents/spikes. Initial contact and survey was very quick so once agreed everything it all worked like clockwork from my perspective. The job was definitely trickier than anticipated but it was very clear they are a conscientious team - passionate and caring - so got their heads around how best to approach it. Kelly, Matt and the team are lovely to deal with - friendly and courteous. Would not hesitate to use them again - or in this case recommend to the neighbours once the seagulls return to the village and have to find someone else's roof to nest in!!

Really quick, friendly advice offered, service carried out promptly and on time - even gave the tech in the area the once over to make sure all was working ok after - outstanding

Excellent service from Ryan .... Very timely and flexible and came back at very short notice ... friendly, professional and informative about the rodent world which was very helpful ....would definitely use again ....but hopefully won't need to as such a good job done ....would highly recommend...

Friendly and professional service given within covid guidlines. Assessed and treated our indoor mouse problem. Highly reccomend.

Top stuff from Matt, Ray and the team. Thanks again.

Quick to deal with the problem. Helpful with some good advice would recommend this company

Great job. Polite friendly on time job well done very discrete with my rat problem great work ethic

Really quick response, sorted a wasp nest in our front garden within the hour. Competitive price. Friendly staff on phone and in person.

I had Matt and kelly come out to me, they asked if I still wanted them to come out as I mentioned the wasp activity was less. Within a minute they had quickly located a busy nest in our garden ( we had been looking for it for days !) Followed by another two nests ! The work was very quickly and efficiently carried out. They took the time to explain about the wasps which was interesting . I would say they are lovely friendly polite people that got the work done and glad I called them . The work is guaranteed and I got an advertising pen too 😊!

Superb response from the team. They made the whole thing really easy for me from the initial point of contact, to the fast response, and then the technician who attended site. Fast and efficient - and best of all - the wasp problem was dealt with.!!

Matt and Kelly are amazing. True super hero’s. Always coming to my rescue. They have helped me in the past with mice, rats and squirrels. Tonight they came at very short notice to a rat in my kitchen/family room. They are just brilliant. Fair price, lovely people and brilliant service. I thoroughly recommend them

Very impressed with the fast and prompt response. Were treating my large wasp nest within 3 hours of my call. Can highly recommend.

I was very pleased with this service. I contacted them one day and they fitted me in the next day to deal with my unwanted wasp nest. A very polite gentleman and got the job done!

Super fast response to our Bee swarm that was moving in half way up the house! Very professional and friendly service and they found a new home for the Bees :-) Would highly recommend.

Excellent service again! Went out of their way to help me the same day extremely kind / efficient and professional service a wonderful team ! Thanks to all of you

An excellent all round service, super friendly, efficient and knowledgable. Matt and Kelly arrived within 20 mins of calling for a swarm of honey bees that arrived in our garden, they removed them safely and took them to be re-homed.

Very quick and friendly service. Explained in a professional manor what the problem and solution was and made sure I was happy. Would definitely recommend them and would use them again if I had another problem

Matt and the team do an amazing job keeping flies and rats under control at our black bag waste treatment plant. Haven't missed a beat in years. Always on time, always effective and always professional.

I have used several pest control specialists in my time as a School site manager. However, none have matched the professionalism and expertise of Matt, Kelly and the team at Urban Pest Control. Urban don't just take the problem at face value, they look at the big picture and seek to find an overall solution to the problem. Other 'experts' had visited, laid some bait and left. This left us with nasty smells in school when the rat died in a cavity. Matt and the team were prompt with responding to my call and set about finding the entry points and blocking them to prevent access to our rodent 'friends'. I would highly recommend this company and will be using them for any future pest control issues. Thanks for your help!

Fantastic service all round! Excellent from the moment I called to book the appointment, a courtesy call the day before with an approximate time, Ray arrived on time was friendly and efficient obviously very knowledgeable and left follow up guidelines TOTALLY RECOMMEND. This company looks after its clients thank you Urban Pest Control Ltd.

Absolutely top class service. They attended my property within two hours of calling, identified the location of all four wasp nests and promptly dealt with the problem. A second visit was then made to remove the nests. I would not hesitate to use Urban Pest Control again should the need arise and recommend their services unreservedly. A quick, efficient and highly skilled firm.

Matt and Kelly have provided our business with unparalleled commercial support for the past three years. They carry out regular site visits and provide excellent advice and service. All in all a must go to for any pest control requirements

Brilliant friendly team! Always been quick and professional. They've been out several times to sort wasp nests out over the years and sorted the same day. Woul highly recommend!!

Matt diagnosed a moth issue for me yesterday, and a few years ago dealt brilliantly with a bad situation involving insects brought back from Africa in a suitcase! Both he and colleague Kelly are exceptionally efficient, and it's always service with a smile - in fact, I'd say Matt is so reassuring, personable and smiley if you're afraid of insects (like me...) and need someone to deal with it quickly. I would highly recommend these guys, and would definitely turn to them again in a crisis! Thanks Matt 😊

Thank you so much Ray from Urban Pest Control for treating our wasp nest. Great and friendly service from beginning to end. Kelly arranged for Ray the technician closest to me to help us solve our wasp problem. He arrived promptly and explained the treatment required. The whole process took approximately 20 minutes. No mess, no fuss. Polite and courteous service would recommend without question. Thank you so much Len and Joy

Matt and his team are brilliant, unlucky for me I've had a three wasp nests over the years. All have been treated the day the issue was reported. Urban pest have remembered me a previous as a client which shows the personal service they provide. I will always use and recommend their services. Use this company if you're looking for a quick efficient and competitive service.

Brilliant service in maintaining pest prevention measures and ensuring my premises is pest free. Staff are really helpful and provide plenty of advice on how to keep our 5* hygiene rating.

Fantastic service. I called this afternoon re big wasp nest and Matt and Kelly were there within two hours. They are a joy to deal with and are very competitive on price.

Great service. Very pleasant to deal with, fair price and very quick. Highly recommend.

Would recommend for business and domestic pest control. The team does the pest control for the company I work for, and are doing it better than our previous contractor, with a quick efficient service. When we had a problem at home with a wasps nest I rang them and asked if they did house calls. They did and again it was a quick and reliable service, plus the price was £50 cheaper than some other quotes we got.

Quick, efficient and personable service. Would highly recommend this company who expertly dealing with my infestation.

Pretty shocked. Called out Urban Pest Control to my friend's house in Ringwood yesterday, for a clear wasp problem (the wasps were filling an upstairs bedroom only). The guy who attended proceeded to kill a colony of "naturally foraging honey bees" high up in the chimney stack (some 25 feet away) at one end of the building before realising and before bothering to go and look for the wasp nest he was called out for (through the attic door in the problem room). As we had suspected there was an enormous wasp nest in the roof above the problem room. I truly would have thought that any pest control company worth its salt would have inspected and determined the species (the bees were visible from the ground) instead of just whipping out the insecticide and exterminating them. I'm furious... as is the home owner... And we want to know what insecticide was used on the bees! There are not enough bees in the world as it is without pest control companies spraying anything that moves without doing due diligence first.

The team at Urban came out to my workplace on the same day of asking to control an insect issue, talked through the process and were very professional and efficient to control the issue first time. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend Extremely responsive and operatives were very professional and passionate. We had an issue with rats getting into a building and Urban were proactive in dealing and eradicating the issue when others before them had failed. Very pleased with the service provided.

Would highly recommend. Came out the same day and treated a wasp nest close to the entrance of our b&b. Quick, clean, professional and reasonably priced.

Quick, professional and friendly service to save my garden being decimated further by a resident mole. Reasonable price. Very happy. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommended, professional and a fair price.

Very friendly service would suggest urban pest control to anyone with a problem with pests as he was very knowledgeable and gives the best advice to help the situation along so it can be prevented from coming back, also very quick, efficient and amazing competitive prices!
