Phd Services Plumbing is valued for prompt, reliable plumbing and heating work, with customers often mentioning boilers, central heating, showers, radiators, taps, toilets and bathroom improvements. Reviews describe Nic as knowledgeable, professional and friendly, with clear explanations, fair pricing and a thorough approach, while many appreciate the quick response and work completed efficiently in their homes.
Disappointing communication. I contacted this plumber regarding a leak and sent over a photo as requested. He then simply replied 'looks bodgy’. I found this blunt, unhelpful, and unprofessional. A good tradesperson should explain the actual issue and offer a solution, rather than using dismissive language. Not a good way to communicate with a potential new client. I chose to take my business elsewhere.
Had a faulty central heating system. Spoke to Nick from PHD. He promptly arrived at my home and quickly found the issue I had and fixed it there and then. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. His charge for the fix was very fair. I would have no hesitation in using him again the next time I have a problem.
I cannot recommend Nic and PHD Plumbing highly enough, first class service, quick response time and fabulous workmanship and ethics, a true gentleman with a proper old school approach, good value for money too
A good and professional service from Nic always.
What a fantastic plumber! Very professional and courteous. Explains the job required and the cost at the outset. Reliable. We will always call him first.
Effective, prompt, friendly service. Then I asked for advice on another pipe issue which was inspected & resolved too Definitely recommend
Quick and friendly service. My boilers problem solved within an hour. Recommended.
We have used PHD Plumbing for a few years now and we have been delighted with the excellent work carried out in our home. We would recommend PHD to anyone who is looking for a reliable Plumber.
Fast response, soon had our shower pump problem solved and also fixed the radiator while he was here. Would definitely recommend Nick to friends and family
Excellent service, turned up as promised, same day. Job well done, and fairly priced.
What a great plumber I’ve found! Can’t believe how easy and straightforward it was to get the toilets sorted by Nic at my place. On and off problems since I moved in, all fixed quickly in one go without hassle. Great communication & a real pleasure to deal with.
Nic came just to fix a basin tap not working but ended up replacing all the old tap washers on 2 sinks and a bath so we now have a fully working and leak free set up for the first time in ages. It was all done with good humour and at a very reasonable price. We will definitely use Nic again!
Highly recommended. Completes the jobs to good standard, reliable, diligent, experienced and friendly. That's enough!
We don’t use any one else! Thank you for all the jobs you’ve done over the years but especially for fitting our new system! What a dream it is to have a decent, hot shower, a modern system and working heating!
Amazing job transforming our old tired bathroom into beautiful bright modern bathroom. Excellent service. Friendly and very professional. Would definitely recommend Nick and his team
Nic is an excellent plumber, head and shoulders above previous boiler engineers. He gives clear explanations of the work to be done and is very reliable.
