MSJ Plumbing & Drainage Ltd

we have used MSJ plumbing a few times now since moving into our home a year ago, they have always been very good to us, they come out on short notice even on a Sunday! and they always get the job done good at reasonable prices. very happy to have their services

Very prompt service. Good advice given Work very efficiently done Outrageously overpriced

Matt was very friendly and quick to solve a blocked sink. Great service.

We called MSJ Plumbing & Heating for an emergency issue at home, having a young family so we needed help straight away. They got back to us incredibly quickly and had someone out within the hour – couldn’t have asked for a faster response at such short notice. The plumber was polite, got straight to work, and fixed the problem we’d called them for efficiently. All in all, very grateful they were available and turned up so promptly when we were in a tight spot. Would recommend for urgent jobs!

Milad did a fabulous job. Responded to our plumbling emergency swiftly. I highly recommend this company.

Very happy with the service The engineer was skillful and sorted the issue for us very quickly. Happy to use them again

Engineer Matt has helped us. He is super trained and knowledgeable. Tx.

Milad was very professional, quick and excellent work.

Fast, friendly and finished the job to a brilliant standard.

Milad completed exceptional work on my sink today that needed unblocking. He was polite and understanding and never made me feel uncomfortable, being a woman on my own. He explained everything clearly and went above and beyond resealing the pedestal for me and finding an extra attachment on B&Q I could get if I wanted to. Thank you so much!

Fast and proper, would use again 👍

Very happy with the service provided. We had a leaky pump that needed fixing, and the plumber quickly identified the problem and repaired it efficiently. They arrived on time, were friendly and professional, and explained everything clearly. The work was completed to a high standard and the area was left clean and tidy afterwards.

The service we received this morning was very good. On time and Milad was friendly and explained what his was doing. I would recommend the company and Milad to anyone.

Very good , thank you for a wonderful service

Fantastic efficient service by Matt, very helpful and knowledgeable.

Matt worked efficiently and effectively.

Plumbing emergency called them out, arrived within the hour. Matt, was very professional and helpful.

Had a fault with my hot water system in Blandford Forum and MSJ Plumbing handled the water heater repair really well. The problem was diagnosed properly and fixed without any delay. Everything is running smoothly again and the service felt very professional.

Quick response, clean and tidy job done by Matt

The plumber Markus/Marcus was a friendly chap who explained what the issue was and what would be required to rectify it, no issue with the plumber at all. He sorted the leak and did a repair and was happy with his work. It did cost an extortionate amount, but I was aware of the hourly emergency rate before work was agreed so it wasn’t a surprise and I did agree to the terms (not much you can do when water is dripping through the ceiling), so something to be aware of. So 5/5 for the plumber and work done, 3/5 for the cost (for a non Sunday and not outside sociable hours, felt a bit steep), so 4/5 total.

Fantastic emergency call out service on a Sunday morning. Arrived within the hour, sorted the issue quickly. Thank you!

Absolutely brilliant service from MSJ Plumbing & Drainage Ltd. We had been dealing with an ongoing leak from our shower for quite some time, and it had become a really stressful issue. A previous company had already attempted to fix it, but the problem was never properly resolved, and we were also left with water pressure complications that had clearly not been dealt with correctly. From the moment MSJ got involved, the difference was obvious. They were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to properly investigate the cause of the problem instead of just applying a quick fix. They explained everything clearly, which immediately gave us confidence that we were finally in the right hands. What impressed us most was how thorough they were. They not only fixed the leak, but also addressed the water pressure issues that had been contributing to the ongoing problems. It was such a relief to have someone come in, understand the full situation, and deal with it properly. They were reliable, respectful of our home, and worked to a very high standard throughout. After the frustration of living with this issue for so long, it was a huge relief to finally have everything sorted. I would highly recommend MSJ Plumbing & Drainage Ltd to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional company that takes pride in doing the job properly. Excellent service from start to finish.

Thank you Matt for all your help today.

We had a blockage in our toilet, called my plumber couldn’t turn out as he was in holiday and i called MSJ and they sent out matt within 1 hour and very polite and professional finished the job quickly with a good price for emergency callout I would recommend them highly and use them again

Jamie was particularly helpful, going above and beyond what I expected. Managed to fix my leak and give good advice on maintenence. Wholeheartedly recommend Jamie.

Mat has done first class job and was so professional and friendly will definitely use again.

Called this company about an issue with our toilet. On the phone we were told there would be a £49 call out fee which we agreed to When the plumber arrived they only took a few pictures and then quoted £549 to fix it. No actual repair work was carried out and they said they would have to leave it for now.We were then told to pay £104 for the visit which was confusing as nothing had been fixed. Overall this did not feel reasonable for what was done and was quite disappointing. I would suggest checking other options before using this service

Good job

Great service, quick response on call and did amazing work

Complete waste of time and effort , have a burst pipe , explained this over the initial call got told 45-90 minutes ( no issues ) , sent photos over to the ‘plumber ‘ who said he needed 2 people because it was a lead pipe , called him nearly 2 hours later ( kids in the background ) no where near me still has to get materials , waste of time , called the water board instead, just wish I hadn’t wasted my time waiting around for somebody who wasn’t even on the way

Called matt the plumber who came out straight away & sorted our issue with our dance studio toilets so we could operate very efficient highly recommend 🤩

£599 per hour, minimum 1 hour plus 15% admin fee plus a £69 call out fee. Absolutely ridiculous. Dyno-Rod is doing the job for much much less with no call out fee. Avoid Response: Dyno-Rod came out with no call out fee. Assessed the problem then said they could fix it for around £200 but it’s a shared drain so Wessex Water would come out same day and do it for free. I was not given this information from you. The job took 10 minutes.

MSJ were brillant, they sent out Matt who came really quickly and was so professional and just got the job completed so well, I would recommend this company.

Matt was brilliant when he arrived. He was quick and informative. Would recommend!

Really efficient service and pleasant plumber. Really impressed he stayed for 30 minutes afterwards to check for leaks.

Paid £190 for a leaking pipe repair and it started dripping again the next day.

Advert comes up as local and says they cover my area, called to get a quote. They ask for postcode and then say they don’t cover it. Looks like phishing

Milad came out quickly. Was courteous and professional. Identified the issues and resolved.

We had a leak behind our dishwasher and a problem with our shower tap Milad was very helpful and did an amazing job, he explained what the problems were and was able to answer all our questions and fix the issues promptly

I recently had plumbing work completed by MSJ plumbing ltd, the job was carried out to a very high standard, everything was done properly and professionally, were reliable, efficient. I would recommend highly

Stay away. They are extortionate. Charged us over £1000, drain wasn’t even cleared after this. Turned out that it was something our water company would have fixed for free. Engineer stayed on site until payment was made. Intimidation tactics at its finest. Do not use this company. The reviews are likely fake. £75 consultation fee and unnecessary use of camera. Felt very predatory.

MSJ plumbing promptly responded to our emergency call on Thursday evening as our boiler was leaking water. The fault necessitated a new boiler (ours was about 20 years old) and change of flue (which involved going on the roof). We were happy with the quotation (sent late Thursday) and the team worked all Friday and part of Saturday to complete the job. We were very pleased with the speed with which the problem was resolved and even more so to have our heating and hot water back! I’d recommend MSJ plumbing for all plumbing work but especially in an emergency as they are both prompt and reliable.

Excellent service—fast, professional, and fairly priced. They fixed the problem right away. Highly recommend!

Milad is 5* technician found the problem and fixed it In minutes I would highly recommend and will use again if I ever need to

I had a poor experience with this service - misleading with prices and poor customer service when I questioned their approach. Make sure to get a clear sense of potential costs beyond a call out charge.

Fitted new shower pump. The plumber Jack was very friendly and polite. They are not the cheapest bit when you want something done quickly you expect to pay a bit more

Called msj plumbing to fix my elderly mums tap, the plumbers name was Matt who was very understanding, professional and knowledgeable about the problem. I wasn’t there but Matt kept me informed by phone and sent me photos of the finished job. Very pleased with his work.

Matt was very pleasant, efficient and quick

Matt was great got to the problem quickly safely advised next steps 👍🏾

Terrible. Had an internal pipe blockage. Called them and they sent a different company. They charged £450 for one hour and did not clear blockage. Payment was required prior to leaving. Avoid

Charged me £400 to replace a tap, which took literally 20 minutes. Had no idea it would cost this much until they arrived at which point I would have had to pay a £69 callout charge for nothing anyways. Disappointed as this wasn't even an emergency, they offered me an afternoon slot and turned up at 6:30pm and charged a rather exorbitant 'emergency' rate!

Perfect, was there within the hour and did satisfactory job within time stated. Thank you very much

Have used msj pluming twice now and outstanding service on both occasions…one emergency on a bank holiday and matt was available no questions asked. Matt is very knowledgeable and would definitely recommend!!

Do NOT use this company. They are cowboys who don't tell you what their rates are until they arrive, and then try to charge a call out fee and an extraordinarily high rate. They email you a contract only after arrival, and put you under pressure to pay, operating unethically and illegally according to contract law. I have dealt with many plumbers, none as bad as this.

10/10 service, delivered standards to a maximum and arrived within the next day, work was done quickly and efficiently proper job! Recommend highly

Very professional, best service I have had from a plumber in the Bournemouth area. Very punctual service and efficient plumber. Will definitely use again in the future. 5/5!

All too expensive.Even on a winter holiday.

I called them on xmas day and they sent someone out wıthın one hour Thank you Matt for savına the day for our famıly. Hıghiy recomended

Very rude staff. Could not unblock my sink but touched my boiler while trying to fix it and, after he left, a message came up on my boiler and I phoned to ask them what the message was as it wasn’t there before the engineer arrived. Not willing to help, as he said it was bad timing and nothing to do with him. He told us to google the answer. We spoke to another plumber(today) from a different company who told us the answer straight away. Today, I rang head office to explain the situation, who were also rude and unhelpful and backed their work. The engineer from yesterday then called after I left a bad review online, asking me to delete it because it’s Christmas, which is absolutely insane! I am wondering whether they ask everyone to delete bad reviews, so please watch out

Great service and really friendly staff. Called out this morning to fix a leak behind my washing machine. All sorted quickly and efficiently. Thank you! Laura

Matt was very friendly and professional and pleases what he did out of hours working Highly recommend it

matt was amazing prompt and great service woukd highly recommend

Matt was very punctual and professional. He did the job quickly and efficiently. I can highly recommend his plumbing service.

I requested a cistern repair from MSJ Plumbing Ltd and someone called me saying that a plumber could be sent out in the next hour. I asked about the cost difference of waiting until the following day and as there was a £19 difference to the callout fee, I decided to go ahead with having someone round in the next hour. The plumber assessed the job and then said the company would email me with the quote and terms. The hourly rate was £229 (!) and there was also an admin fee of 10% of the bill on top of callout fee and parts. I felt that the hourly rate - even when considered an emergency which it wasn't - was extremely high but I didn't know what comparable rates would be - plus the plumber was standing in front of me and I didn't want to offend him by saying this so I agreed to it. The job took 30 minutes but I was charged for the full hour. I observed the plumber on his phone during this time so was concerned that he was waiting for the 30 minute mark to be able to round it up to the full hour. The invoice was emailed to me and the plumber remained inside my house so I felt under pressure to pay it immediately. I feel extremely disappointed by the unreasonably high hourly rate that I was charged, the fact that I was charged for the full hour when the job took only 30 minutes to complete, and that I felt intimidated to pay the invoice immediately. I issued a formal complaint to the company within 24 hours and their response was - predictably - that all procedures had been followed (missing my point completely) and their offer of resolution was a discount on future services, which I will not be using as I won't be working with this company again. I would not recommend using this company due to their unreasonably high rates and intimidating payment tactics.

Following a power cut and deciding to use the attachment part of the shower even though it resisted i was faced with a broken shower and continously running water which i couldnt turn off , the power kicked in and this was then continously hot running water. I googled emergency plumbers and MSJ came up , they were also on Check a Trade with good reviews so i gave them a call and Milad came to my rescue. I was advised of what work was needed and the cost. Milad checked i was happy to proceed before undertaking any work. He was very friendly , able to fix the issue and still leave me with an attachment to have a shower with while i source a new shower. Really pleased with the service , this isnt how i expected my evening to go however im happy with the swift service provided - contact made and fixed within the hour. Thanks Milad 😀

Good standard of work, but expensive.

Absolutely incredible service, very efficient and polite. I would highly recommend for all your plumbing needs. Thank you for providing me with an excellent service.

Excellent service! Very professional, arrived quickly, identified the issue straight away and fixed it efficiently. Clean, reliable, and great communication throughout. Highly recommended for any plumbing work.

You are the best

Extortionate. It was a Sunday and we were aware of the £69 call out charge. The hourly rate is £250 on top as well as a 10-15% admin fee. We had a fault on our boiler and a very slow drip/ leak under the boiler. 3 hours work and a cost very close to my monthly salary later and we have no fault but a different slow drip / leak. It seemed they werent sure what the fault was so replaced a few parts to try to work it out. All those parts were obviously chargable. The engineer also made sure we paid for the invoice in full before he left, which felt wrong. I am so upset, its a week before Christmas and we have been fully taken advantage of. Avoid if you can.

Oli did a few jobs for us back in the summer, the 1st was to replace our kitchen tap and when it was missing a part he waited for me to return to the shop and collect it. This was super kind of him as most Plummers would have re arranged. The 2nd job was to fit a hot tap outside for washing the dogs, this has been amazing over the summer with the BBQ but the doggies are very much appreciating it this winter. Thanks so much Oli!

The service was great and the guy who fixed the toilet was professional, however the price was shocking. I understood the £69 call out fee to investigate the issue but the cost of fixing the leaking pipe - with the part costing £15 - was set at £189 per hour and a 10% admin fee, so we got hit with a £300 bill. I would've given 5 stars had the price been reasonable.

MSJ Plumbing did a great job for us. We had a small leak in the kitchen and they managed to come out quickly. The engineer was friendly, got straight to work and fixed the issue without any hassle. Everything was left clean and the price was fair. I’d happily recommend them to others.

The plumber was brilliant, fixed a small leak under the sink and also tightened a few loose fittings around the kitchen, helpful and polite.

Be wary of these people Saturday morning call out charge £69.then charged me £250 per hour. They don't tell you cost until it's done.

Matt was amazing, great job

The Plummer was, on time and very polite and courteous and also very tidy. He explained everything and listen too Very happy

Very efficient. We are very pleased with everything that they have done.

Thank you for your prompt service, Matt did a great job replacing worn parts in the toilet cistern everything works great now .

Milad was at my house within an hour of me calling, and repaired the leak quickly even though it was in a very awkward spot! He was also very friendly and answered all my questions. Would recommend :)

Matt is professional and finish the work very well

one of the best drain unblocker

I called regarding for an email and the caller wasnt polite would not give me an email

Quick service and fast response .

Excellent service from start of job to finish. Very professional, reliable, and high-quality workmanship delivered on time. Would highly recommend MSJ Plumbers Team.

Plumber got to me as quickly as he could when I had a water pipe spurting water out of a pipe and was very stressed. He quickly came in assessed the situation and got to work on the job all with a friendly pleasant attitude.

Really bad company. Asked how much call out fee was £49 which was acceptable…but when they arrived did nothing but look & say it’s a sealant & grout problem and charged us on top of that an investigation fee of £25 which wasn’t mentioned when I asked how much it cost to call out over phone. He was here less than 5 minutes!! Told us to get a handyman .Total rip off. Would definitely avoid this company in the future. Then rung me up twice after because they didn’t like the review! Make your own mind up. ( Btw- had grouting & sealant done & still had leak)

We had a burst pipe in the loft with water coming through the ceiling in several places. Phoned 'Gold' emergency response service from insurers and they couldn't get anyone out to us until next day! So instead we called MSJ plumbing and Matt was with us within about 15 minutes and fixed the pipe within the hour. Thank you Matt..you were a super hero today!

Had a problem with my sink, Happy with the fast and reliable service, Matt was very polite and professional and a credit to the company. Many thanks

MSJ Plumbing has built a strong reputation for delivering excellent service. Customers consistently praise their quick response times, professional approach, and thorough workmanship. The team is known for explaining issues clearly and ensuring every job is done properly the first time. With fair, transparent pricing and a commitment to reliability, MSJ Plumbing stands out as a trustworthy company that people are confident to recommend.

I can’t thank this company enough! At 2:30 in the morning, I discovered water pouring from under my kitchen sink. I was panicking, worried it would flood the entire downstairs. I called their emergency line and, within 40 minutes, a plumber was at my door. He was calm, professional, and had everything he needed on the truck. Not only did he stop the leak quickly, but he also explained what caused it and gave me clear advice on preventing it in the future. The price was fair, especially for an emergency call at that hour. Truly lifesaving service—I won’t hesitate to call them again

Best plumber around really helped my with tap

Excellent, helpful, spoke to Wessex for me, ID or len and offered a kit solution instead of new toilet. Available at short notice and reasonable costs.

Emergency pipe burst was quickly fixed with in an hour of calling. Mads was so efficient and knew how to fix it quickly. Yes it was expensive but it was out of hours and fast response time. Thanks again for a great job.

Professional and friendly service from Matt would definitely recommend

Excellent service from Matt today , I’ve now got a sink that is finally fixed , thank you

Here within the hour. Milad was very tidy and the pipe was repaired quickly

Matt was awesome - fixed the problem in a tight spot quickly and efficiently - also happy to offer advise and suggestions for other areas of concern.

Very happy with my experience. Called up on a Saturday afternoon following some botched DIY and Matt arrived within 1.5 hours. He fixed the problem efficiently and was polite and courteous.

I recommend this place they helped me fix my problem fast

Matt is efficient and effective at his job. You deserve a five star for that. Call out call is costly. Materials used are cheap but charged at a high price. Sadly, it’s an overpriced job for changing a leaky tap. Sorry to score it a one star. Hopefully this tap last a bit before it starts leaking again.

I have used Matt before with another job last year and was very pleased to see it was him again. Very polite and efficient, would highly recommend Matt and Milad for any plumbing issues.

Excellent service from matt thank you

Great team arrived promptly worked efficiently and made the whole experience easy and hassle free

Prompt arrival, very nice and polite engineer, explained what the job entailed, very happy with the service

Milad was excellent in every way

Msj plumbing came to my bakery to fix a tap, matt was very quick, efficient, polite and very professional, cleaned up after himself, I would definitely recommend this company

Matt was professional and courteous. Completed the job with a fast turnaround.

Absolutely saved the day/morning , toilet cistern broke and was leaking , they were here within 30 mins and fixed it , no complaints at all , great person on the phone , friendly and calm, and the guy that came round , Matt , couldn't have been more professional and friendly !! Highly recommended service and team!! THANK YOU ❤️

Matt was excellent, professional and resolved a leak in my business premises. This was an emergency call out which allowed the work to be conducted overnight and I could open for work the next day. Not cheap but worth every penny.

I have used MSJ Plumbing on several occasions. Best way to contact Matt is via his mobile number or WhatsApp. Response is always prompt. Either him or one of his workers would attend site to look at and fix the problem. They always arrive at the time window they specify. Work is professional and tidy. They will explain the problem and how they are going to fix it. Price is reasonable. Very trustworthy. Will definitely use again. Highly recommended.

Expensive! Dropped price almost £100 when questioned.

Matt was friendly efficient and got the job completed in a reasonable time. I would use this company again

Quick and professional service. The problem was fixed even on a Sunday. Recommend it.

I found the service to be excellent so quick and polite and reasonably priced I thought. All done in 1.5 hours total system drained. Thanks!

Very good company. The plumber was very friendly and courteous. Did the job in next to no time. Very happy with the result. Would most definitely recommend.

Brilliant service. Immediate response time and a thoroughly professional service

Quick, efficient and friendly service: plumber was knowledgeable and explained every step! Highly recommend, if a little pricey.

Excellent and fast service, will always recommend 👌

I had a blocked toilet on a Saturday. I called MSJ Plumbing, who sent a plumber within the hour. Milad managed to fix it all, and offer advice. He was polite, friendly and I am very happy with the service! Recommend MSJ plumbing 100%. Southbourne area. Thanks guys!!

Tenant rang at 10.30pm with a blocked sink and water flowing into the neighbour's flat below (why is it always late at night these things happen ...) MSJ Plumbing was the nearest company to the flat on Google search so I took a punt. Mike arrived within 20 minutes, identified the issue, sorted out the blocked pipe, checked the pipes and water flow to make sure no other problems. He even sent me a video showing the water flowing. Cost effective emergency service for me, very fast service for the tenant and reassurance for the neighbour = win/win/win!!

I am so grateful to these guys for what they did today. I had a horrendous leak from my toilet where the pipe had come away and leaked raw sewage under my home. They repaired my loo and cleared up all the sewer waste. I phoned a couple of places before who refused to come out because of the raw waste. I would recommend them and will use again. Great thanks to Milad for what he did and for the quality of his work.

Fast, reliable and very knowledgeable - very happy customer

I had a major toilet backup at my house due to a blocked manhole in the backyard. Water was starting to rise, and I was honestly panicking. MSJ Plumbing arrived within an hour of my call, located the blockage, and cleared it quickly using high-pressure jetting. They also cleaned the area after the work, which I really appreciated. Fast, friendly, and efficient service!

We recently hired MSJ Plumbing Company for some work at our business , and the service was absolutely outstanding. The team was professional, on time, and very respectful throughout the entire process. They quickly identified the problem and fixed it efficiently, leaving everything clean and tidy. Their communication was excellent, and they made sure we understood exactly what was being done. It’s rare to find such reliable and skilled tradespeople these days. I highly recommend MSJ to anyone looking for top-quality plumbing services. We’ll definitely be calling them again for future jobs!

Really good service. Attended within 30 minutes to an out of hours emergency leak. Would highly recommend.

I’ve used this plumber’s services multiple times, and I’m always impressed by the experience. He is consistently fast, efficient, and very reliable. Every time, he takes the time to clearly explain the situation and the problem, which I really appreciate. His work is always thorough and professional. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality and trustworthy plumbing services.

Very experienced and professional individual had my boiler replaced with him - Barzi

Milad has provided excellent service to my HMObthat has 9 flats. He has supported on an emergency basis in unsociable hors & always done a first class job.

Could not thank MSJ plumbing enough, they supplied and fitted a better performing shower pump and in addition to that sorted out our low water pressure upstairs. They were competitive and their work was of a very high standard.

I had an excellent experience with MSJ Pluming Ltd! They were quick to respond, professional, and incredibly thorough. The plumber explained everything clearly and got the job done right the first time. It’s hard to find reliable service these days, but these guys truly delivered. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a great experience with MSJ Plumbing Ltd. The plumber arrived on time, was very professional, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. They fixed the issue quickly and left everything clean and tidy. The pricing was fair and transparent — no surprises. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable plumbing services. Thank you for the excellent service!
