We needed a new boiler to replace a cheap inefficient model that was in our house when we moved in just over a year ago. After reading the reviews on 'WHICH?' we decided to go for a Worcester Bosch model that has a 12 year guarantee. We chose Beckett's Plumbing & Heating as they are recognised fitters for this brand. Sam came and guided us through what would be best for our needs. He was very knowledgeable and clearly explained what they would do and gave us a good price which included a central heating system power flush before the work started. Sam and his helper Dan arrived at 7.30 am and were finished and all tidied up by 4pm including having to take up some floor boards in the house to install a larger diameter gas pipe! Overall they were very professional and we were very impressed with the workmanship We thoroughly recommend this firm and so easy to deal with too.

I found Sam and Becketts plumbing and heating by chance on Facebook. A simple whats app message and instant reply started our journey. Sam came round the same day as his current job was only round the corner. He confirmed the quote by e mail and communicated everything efficiently. On the agreed day he and his team arrived as agreed at 0730 and began a spotless installation of our split room air con. Would i recommend Sam yes 100% infact I will contact him about servicing our boiler soon.

Well what can I say , it was a big decision having air con fitted and which company to choose . I cannot recommend Becketts enough , polite , professional and tidy workmanship . We just had Sam and his team from Becketts Plumbing & Heating install a Bosch air conditioning system in our home and couldn’t be happier with the result. Sam and his team installed a multi-split system serving two bedrooms, along with a separate single-split unit for our kitchen/living area. From the initial survey through to installation and commissioning, everything was completed professionally and to a very high standard. The workmanship was excellent, the pipework and trunking were neat and tidy, and the team took the time to explain how the systems worked before leaving. Had a Bosch air conditioning unit installed by Beckett’s Plumbing & Heating last month and we’re really pleased with it. Started off as a boiler service and Landlord Certificate. Ended up as a SGN emergency call out , then a urgent boiler warranty repair that a previous plumber missed. This would have led to a catastrophic boiler event (within months) which Sam prevented. Superbly professional and always informative as to what needed doing Very reasonable prices. Within a few hours I had spoken with Sam, arranged a quote and confirmed installation of the new boiler in Hedge End within 48 hrs. I have very happy tenants and received 5 star service. We had are new boiler fitted the other day and the service was outstanding! Sam turned up dead on time and set straight to it. The install went smoothly with no hassle to us at all. We had Becketts out to rearrange a gas feed during our kitchen renovation. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time and carried out the work without any fuss, very impressed with the speed of installation and neatness of the work. There was an issue with our gas feed regulator which Sam identified and got the gas board out to fix the same day, from start to finish the whole experience was seamless and I will definitely be using him for any other works we need in future.

Sam came to fit my new boiler as an approved installer for Worcester Bosch, he arrived on time and was very polite and professional,. Boiler fitted in a few hours and tested, talked me through the boiler and new thermostat, cleaned up thoroughly and went on his way. Couldn't recommend this company enough, shame it's a long journey for him, or I'd get him to do the annual servicing as well. Excellent service throughout the whole process.

Our old boiler failed and could not be repaired so we contacted Sam Beckett who arrived very quickly to estimate for a new Worcester Bosch - which he then fitted only two days later along with two new radiators. It was all done in a day and the cost was exactly as quoted. It works fine. We have nothing but praise for the work and the professional approach of Sam and his assistant. Old boiler broke Wednesday , engineer unable to repair , called a few companies , becketts heating and plumbing were the only ones to ask questions about our existing boiler, gave us a detailed quote , and could fit the next day!!! We’ve used Sam before and he’s always been great, but today he really saved the day! We had an emergency with our washing machine waste pipe, and Sam managed to come out at short notice. He installed a new trap and waste pipe, and even plumbed the washing machine back in without me needing to ask! all at a very reasonable price. Sam fitted the boiler four years ago, a very professional installation. Annual servicing has been done promptly and efficiently, always tidy and amiable. Would recommend him highly.

I contacted the plumber on behalf of my neighbours, it was a Sunday morning but he said he would be out in twenty minutes and he was. They are very pleased with the job he has done also the cost of it being a Sunday. I will be contacting them soon to do a job for me.

Ordered replacement boiler through Worcester Bosch £3300. Beckett’s quoted £250 extra if thicker gas pipe needed, 4 feet long. Boiler fitted in just under 4 hours. Only 2 radiators working until bled and repressurised myself. Called back for small drip below boiler which started immediately after install, Beckett’s advised unrelated, quoted 1 hour labour to fix.

Sam had recently carried out an installation of a new boiler. He gave us a choice by recommending we either go with a Worcester Bosch or a Viessmann, we decided to go with the Viessmann for the stainless steel heat exchanger and the longer 12 year warranty and it came in at over £300 cheaper! Sam’s communication, workmanship and attention to detail were excellent. He kept us well informed and arrived exactly when he said he would. Carried out a full flush of the heating system to ensure the new boiler would be as efficient and long lasting as possible. Honestly cannot recommend Sam any more highly and look forward to seeing him when he carries out the first boiler service.
