Caution
Your electric shower is tripping the RCD or circuit breaker every time you turn it on.
Your electric shower has stopped working entirely: no lights, no heat, no water heating.
Your oven or cooker is tripping the electrics every time you use it, or intermittently during cooking.
Your washing machine trips the electrics every time you run a cycle, or at a specific point during the wash.
Your dishwasher is tripping the RCD or circuit breaker: cutting power during or at the start of a cycle.
A tumble dryer that trips the electrics usually has an earth leakage fault, most often a failing heating element or damp inside the machine. Unplug it, reset the trip, and do not use it again until it is checked. If the trip still happens with the dryer unplugged, the fault is in the wiring: call an electrician.
Low risk
Your bathroom or kitchen extractor fan has stopped working: it will not turn on or runs but does not extract air.
Your electric oven turns on but does not heat up properly: food is not cooking or takes much longer than it should.
