MJB Building & Roofing Ltd

Matt done my roof on the garage. Very good quality/standard. Tidy and helpful can’t fault him.

Matt and his team were excellent from start to finish. They were repairing an old extension roof, which had a fair few challenges along the way due to the way it was originally built. They worked tirelessly and quickly, even coming round on a Sunday as the weather was good and enabled them to do what they needed to do. The product they provided is excellent with the felt being torch on rather than nails and paint seal. I can’t fault the level of service and would 100% recommend them to others. Will be my go to for any future roofing needs.

We have used mjb for 6 years now. They carry out all our roofs for the projects we do. As we are a building company we can happily say that we have fully tried and tested mjb and the work is always 10/10 with great feedback From our clients

Wow what a pleasure to deal with just a small job some cracked/broken tiles but came out same day made it waterproof and turned up promptly the following day with the tiles. Would thoroughly recommend very reasonably priced the 1st tiler I called quoted me 260 without seeing the job. I asked about the rest of the roof(s) and he assured me it was all sound so not trying to make work for themselves. Its a 10 out of 10 from me

Very happy with the work done - good price and work done quickly and efficiently

Thorough and professional. Care taken throughout. Job completed to high standard.

We’ve been really impressed with Matt and the team. They are very professional and friendly. We’ve had roof tiles replaced, a leaking roof fixed and damage to soffits repaired. Each time the communication has been great and the standard of work carried out has been high. I’ve been impressed that Matt always goes above and beyond in order to give a high quality finish.

Matt is brilliant. Really responsive, fixed tiles on my roof in good time and advised on potential future work needed. Also picked up on a couple of issues with my flat roof and again advised on what to look out for and when to call him back if needed. Super friendly and good quality work, have used him before for other roof bits, and wouldn't go with any one else. Definitely recommend.

A very professional team! Matt explained everything he was going to do to my disabled father. He took photos throughout to show progress and what they done on day one. It was amazing how quickly they worked and got through taking the whole roof off and replacing it. He also refelted our porch which was in dyer need. They provided the removal of the rubbish within a day and were polite to my parents and neighbours. A big thank you for the quick turn around.

Having had some terrible work done by a previous roofing contractor leading to water ingress at the front of our property, I found Matt online and I'm pleased I did. I showed him some photos of the issue and he knew immediately what the problem was then promptly came to fix it. He showed me the issue we had and explained what needed to be done. He's no nonsense, timely, clean and has done a great job. If you're looking for a roofer you can trust with your property, you can't go wrong with Matt.

Thank you Matt, really pleased with installation of both Velux windows. It was a pleasure to have you in our home. We have more roof work pending which I hope you can help us with. Very satisfied customer.

We recently had some repointing work done on our roof valley and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Matt was excellent at keeping us updated, and the team’s professionalism and punctuality really stood out. How often does a contractor tell you when they’ll arrive, only for it to be hours later? Not with these guys – they turned up exactly when they said they would. Gary and Frank did a fantastic job – thorough, tidy, and clearly skilled – even working through the heat of the day. They went the extra mile by coming back in the evening to finish up, which we really appreciated. It’s refreshing to deal with a great local business that delivers quality work at a fair price. We’re very pleased with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Matt and his team are professional, caring and polite. The work is always completed to a high standard. The new roof looks Amazing and the after care Matt offered was actioned straightaway. Dawn

Matt and his team did some roofing work on our large Victorian property in Twickenham. He could not have been more helpful. The work was done efficiently and to a high standard. His communication was excellent too keeping us across what was being done both verbally and with photos and videos. Competitive price too. Would highly recommend.

Matt did a great job on our second story flat roof, really good communication throughout taking videos and pictures as he went. Would definitely recommend 👍.

I recently had Matt to replace the fascia and guttering on my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed with his work. From start to finish, he was highly professional and thorough. He took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I understood the process and the materials he was using. The job was completed on time, and the final result looks fantastic. Matt worked efficiently, cleaned up thoroughly after finishing, and made sure everything was in perfect condition. I highly recommend him for any roofing or guttering needs—his expertise and professionalism truly stand out.🙏🏼

We had our roof replaced and a flat roof on our extension. Excellent job done, high quality work and brilliant finish. So happy with our new roofs. I would highly recommend Matt for any roofing work you need doing.

Matt and his team did an outstanding job! From start to finish, Matt was incredibly kind, professional, and communicative. He kept me informed at every stage of the process and showed up exactly as scheduled. Their work included installing flashing at the base of the chimneys, repointing and repairing any cracks on the chimneys, replacing the leaking front gutter, and replacing the coping stones on the kitchen roof. They also identified and fixed the original issues with the roof, ensuring a long-lasting solution. Matt and his team were not only skilled and efficient but also very thorough in their work. They took the time to explain to me the problems with the old kitchen roof, which I truly appreciated as I am someone who isn’t an expert in this field, and they ensured everything was repaired to the highest standard possible. I highly recommend them!

Very thorough job and a lovely guy. Easy to work with.

Really impressed with Matt and his crew. I had to organise my roof being done from abroad. Matt was in constant communication with me to inform me of what needed doing and progress of the job. He kept me fully updated and was also very helpful and friendly to my tenant. Once the work was done the scaffolding and skip were removed in a timely manner. The work done was of excellent quality at a competitive price. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending MJB Roofing, a professional, friendly, competitive and quality service.

Have used Matt for various roof jobs before. This time needed felt replacement on rear flat roof. Matt was able to give me good advice as well as an honest quote, keeping existing boards, flashing and gutters as well a dealing with a drip issue on the gutters. I was very pleased with his professionalism and decided to get my garage roof done as well. Team of 3 worked hard over 4 days and job done to high standard.

Great quality of service, efficient and reliable. I recommend.

MJB were able to step in quickly when an issue with my roof was discovered during a solar panel install. They did a complete refurbishment including new membrane and battens within a tight time scale. The team were always helpful and professional. They did a great job!
