SolaSkirt

Based in Ashtead, SolaSkirt provides specialised bird control and premium solar panel bird proofing. Their system is designed to offer secure solar panel pigeon protection while delivering a sleek black finish to on-roof solar PV systems.

The solution features a 1.5mm powder-coated aluminium skirt and aluminium clamps. The system covers the gap, rail, clamps, and rain-water run-off that can make solar arrays look unattractive. Because the clamps attach directly to the side of the panel rather than being screwed into the frame, they do not invalidate panel warranties, and the setup can be fitted quickly and easily onto any PV system.

SolaSkirt operates their own in-house installation teams across the country. Alongside carrying out their own installations, they also supply their system directly to solar PV installation companies to include on new solar installs.
