Oberon Solar and Heating

Finding a fault on your boiler during winter is a huge worry for any family. I was recommended Kristian by a friend and he was great! He came out on a Sunday and then ordered parts and completed the job the next day. Very friendly and professional! Kristian showed me videos of the work he carried out and the broken parts. He even gave me a small heater to help keep the house warm. Lovely guy and such a relief the job was fixed so quickly.

Highly recommend very friendly team quick and efficient no job is too little and more than welcome to help with other issues whilst on the job. Used for the past 3 years.

We had work that needed doing to our boiler so called this company. Really friendly guy who took the time to explain what he was doing and why, and saved us a fair bit of money. Thank you very much!!

Kristian is very helpful and professional. Always does good work at reasonable rates.

Oberon Solar and Heating gave excellent service in solving my electrical problem. They were prompt, efficient and pleasant for a very reasonable price. I will certainly use them again.

From start to finish Kristian was polite and professional. Replaced our consumer unit and serviced our boiler all in all did a cracking job. We would highly recommend for a quick and reliable service. No job 2 big or 2 small. For all your plumbing or electrical needs give kristian a call at oberon solar and heating

Kristian from Oberon is a top guy. Shower installation was quick, seamless and even cleaned up after himself!! Couldn’t recommend more, thanks again!!

Great service, went above and beyond. Repaired my gas fire and did a great service on the boiler and charged an extremely fair price

Kristian turned out late at night when I had no electrical sockets working. He diagnosed the problem rapidly and although he couldn't fix the major problem that night, he did get power to enough sockets to keep all essential appliances working.

Absolute amazing and very helpful. When you are in crisis Kristian will move mountains to get the job done. Quotes are very reasonable and does a fantastic job

Found Kristian on line ,glad I did found this service excellent came when he said he's coming very thorough excellent manors. Very good quality work , price very good also. Now my gas fire works like it should.

Had Kristian do a boiler service and gas safety check, will definitely use again, great service and price

Kristian came to install a replacement electric shower for us at short notice and I'm very happy with the standard of the work done. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

Kristian is absolutely amazing, turned up to fix my leaking boiler straight away after his day at work , ordered the parts for very next morning, straight round to fix it , went above and beyond, given us extra pats from his garage for nothing ,that we needed and fit them for no extra cost ,did all the work at a draw dropping price 😁 can not recommend him enough, you will not be disappointed, very nice man , thank you again Kristian

Khristian was very helpful and professional when helping repair my boiler. He was even willing to come out on a Sunday to help because of the position i was in, cant thank him enough will definitely be using him in future!

Thanks Kristian for an amazing service. Our skirting board in the lounge below the bath randomly start wetting. You diagnosed the radiator pinhole crack and explained everything clear, disconnected the issue radiator, and less than two days later replaced it. Really happy, thanks for a good time

Our boiler has been on its last legs for a while now and it finally ‘died’ a couple of weekends ago. This was on a Sunday morning. We contacted Kristian and he came round later in the day to have a look at it. (Sunday visit!!!) Thank you so much! As you can see in our previous comments Kristian has dealt with our gas/plumbing problems and services over the past 12 years and we rate him extremely highly. On this occasion Kristian was (as always) very practical and helpful and talked us through all the options for a replacement boiler. He also suggested alternative places for the boiler if we wanted to reposition it. The work was completed very quickly with minimal mess and we are extremely pleased with our new boiler. The price was very reasonable as well. Kristian is totally reliable and trustworthy and does a great job. I would thoroughly recommend him.

I was very pleased with the work done by Harvard buildings Ltd. Kristen was very efficient and pleasant and I was very pleased with the price. Would recomend this company to my friends and family

Great service. Came and did my gas safety checks, booked me in within a couple of days. Explained each task he was carrying out to me and I felt very comfortable! Great prices and really friendly staff, thanks so much!

Top company. Turned up on time at short notice very friendly and knowledgeable good prices.

Great service and reasonably priced would highly recommend Kristen for all repairs and servicing and was on time .Great job done thanks .

Can't recommended Kristian highly enough! Came out at short notice and did a great job removing my gas oven and capping the supply. When an issue came up, where he identified a low pressure gas reading, he was thorough in his testing and analysis. Grateful for his knowledge and expertise. Thanks again 👍

I desperately needed a gas engineer to connect my gas hob after my energy provider engineer disconnected.I stumbled across Local Gas Service,I dealt with a guy called Kristian. He requested for relevant information before agreeing to do the job which gave me a lot of reassurance as I am very wary when it comes to gas. He was very polite and he even fixed one of my stove burners that was clogged up and hadn’t used it for more than 4 years aswell as connecting the cooker. The payment process was very professional considering it wasn’t a job that was booked in advance.I will definitely contact this company in future and refer to friends and family. Price was also very reasonable

Kristian did a follow up boiler repair today & as expected, he did a superb job, going above & beyond! I have already recommended him to friends & family...they have used his services already & singing his praises. Cannot recommend highly enough

Excellent and efficient service

Kristian is as great! Came out on a Sunday, on time and fixed the whole heating issue, was a pleasure to work with ! Thank you

Excellent service at a good price. Will definatley use this company again

Friendly and professional. Showed up on time, respectful of the house, located and resolved the issue easily and quickly. Would recommend and use again. - Called again over a year later and still received the high standard of service as last time. Willing to help and gives great advice.

Quick to respond and repair my failed boiler. Boiler serviced and everything working well since.

Kristian was very helpful, quick call out, explained the issue clearly and fixed that morning for a good price

Came at short notice to fix a poorly installed radiator from a different plumber, disconnect a gas hob and disconnect some taps and put iso's on them. Professional, quick and friendly. Have other jobs lined up for Kristian as this house flip continues. Good quality work, discusses options as we go.

Asked for a quote for a gas cooker removing, told me £150 plus parts. Absolutely ridiculous. Had 2 other quotes to do the same job both coming in at £45 and £75. I understand peoples prices vary but this is ridiculous.😂🤮 poor effort Kristian.

Saturday morning, our boiler broke down. We thought our weekend was doomed. Fortunately, our call went to the right person, who came on time and sorted the problem. Also gave us a true opinion, that relieved us from the false fear of the big situation leading to big bills. Sincere, people are more appreciated than ever. Thank you

Kristian has fitted my new gas hob with ease. Very professional service. Very helpful and quick job. I highly recommend this company and will for sure use in future if needed.

The service was fast and extremely good. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Thanks Kristian. Good service and most helpful on some existing issues. Would recommend 👍

Kristian was great, understood the job that needed to be done, was fairly priced and did the work to a high standard!

Fast efficient and honest. Recommended

Kristian was very responsive when I needed help to replace our hot water cylinder. He responded very quickly and came back with quotes etc when he said he would. Really accommodating and got the job done to a high standard. Many thanks!

We really can't recommend Kristian of Local Gas Services enough. He is reliable, knowledgable & extremely conscientious. He took the time to consult with us regarding our old & complicated system to come up with the best heating solution. He never tried to 'sell' us anything, just explained things thoroughly so you can make the best decision. He is also a qualified electrician so can use those skills to achieve a professional & safe standard. We have already highly recommended him to friends and neighbours and will continue to use his services. Thank you again Kristian!

Extremely friendly, very professional and reasonably priced,

Had an intergas combi boiler installed at my property, Kristian was superb in the way he carried out his work, removed the old system and installed a new system which I can now control with my phone.. Also my animals liked him, so must he must be a good one... Thank you Local gas Services, 5 stars from me...

New Kitchen installed - great job. Top quality units and smart finish. Old appliances we wanted to keep were reinstalled along with the new ones we chose. Always clean and tidy while work was in progress. We would highly recommend LGS. The job was finished with our regular Boiler service - also done very efficiently with no mess. Also: Bathroom refurbishment. Super quality fittings and units at a very competitive price. Well fitted in good time with a great finish. Always clean and tidy while work was in progress. We would highly recommend LGS - again.

Very happy with the service I received, they were prompt and professional providing gas safety certificate and invoice whilst still in the property. No complaints.

Polite and helpful tradesman, arrived as discussed and did jood job. Would recommend. Good price too.

Good price, efficient and professional, very thorough. Would recommend

User friendly service, very polite and most notably, fantastic workmanship … a rarity today. They carried out a replacement of an old boiler and installed a new one. They also recommended the most suitable boiler for my house - making the process very straightforward. Needless to say I would 100% recommend them and I will certainly be using them again.

Extremely professional. All work done professionally, and very friendly, I recommend.

Kristian carried out a boiler service at our property. He was friendly and courteous and carried out a great job, whilst keeping us informed every step of the way. A good quality service offered at a reasonable rate. Highly recommend this company for any gas or electrical projects.

Kristian was punctual, carried out the boiler service promptly but thoroughly and even allowed time to explain what the service entailed, in accordance to the boiler type. I highly recommend Kristian.

Highly recommended by a friend. Very happy with our new shower/boiler. Transitioned from a electric shower to a combi boiler. Kristian did a fantastic job and we’re very pleased with the outcome. We got exactly what we asked for so we would recommend to anyone to use Local Gas Services. Many thanks again Kristian.

Excellent boiler service. Kristian was communicative and friendly from the initial phone call to completion of the service, did an efficient and thorough job and gave a clear explanation of the results. Thank you !

TL;DR: Prompt, clean and polite gas engineer for an unusual request. Highly recommended. We found Kristian after a quick search online and they were quick to reply. We had a squirrel fall behind our fireplace and we needed a gas engineer to take the fireplace off so we could retrieve it. Within 2-3 hours of when we first contacted them, they arrived (and even called us to let us know that they were coming!). They helped us get prepared to grab the squirrel too. You wouldn't even have known they were here since they left the fireplace (and area around it) cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

I had some repairs carried out by Local Gas Services recently. Kristian was courteous and very helpful throughout. He arranged to call in to my property at a convenient time. His workmanship is of a very high quality. I was able to get my boiler repaired as well as water pipe leak and a toilet leak repaired. I was satisfied with the quality of work carried out and I’d be delighted to recommend this business to friends and family.

Fast, reliable, good value for money, would definitely recommend - 5 star

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Kristian came to fit my new gas cooker at very short notice, as my old one broke. Very professional and friendly service from first contact via phone call and WhatsApp to finishing the job. Would highly recommend.

We ran into trouble with some shoddy workmanship on our living flame gas fire and were looking at a replacement at £1k ++. In a last ditch attempt, we tried Kristian at Local Gas Services and he was amazing. He fixed all the problems, clearly explained all the faults. It's like new and at a fraction of what we had expected to pay. He also gave our boiler a free once over. We'll be cancelling our central heating maintenance contract when it's next up for renewal! Cannot recommend highly enough. A tradesman you can trust!

As always arrive promptly as arranged Completed work efficiently and left site in clean order Would and have recommended Kristian for any gas work,

Had our boiler serviced today by Kristian. He was friendly, communication was great and a job well done. Thank you. We will definitely be using you again.

Brilliant job of servicing my boiler & gas fire including cleaning up afterwards. Great job

Had boiler emergency and turned out the same day. Guy who called was very professional and the bill was very reasonable, would highly recommend

The response of kristian was marvelous next day he came and serviced my dad's gas fire and was very methodical I would recommend him to anyone who would like gas engineer

Kristian was very professional and courteous and went over and beyond to rerun our gas supply in some of the coldest wettest weather of the year. I will never use another gas engineer.

We have be left extremely happy with the speed and. work that was carried out, everything was done to an excellent level and was very professional. Would highly recommend

We had an emergency call out for a gas leak on the weekend. Very professional and very friendly service. I'd highly recommend.

Got up this morning and found damage to copper piping(stolen) which prevented gas flow. Looked on the net and contacted Local gas services who were based locally. Luckily Kristian explained that he was coming over to the area and would call to see me. I explained the circumstances and he gave me an estimate to fix the damage. On his arrival shortly afterwards it was pouring down and I wasn't confident it could be fixed. It stopped raining soon afterwards and he immediately got on with the job. He checked our gas boiler and went further by checking our gas appliances in both kitchen and lounge. He did an all round great job. Pity this cannot be said of all professionals. Thanks very much Kristian for your immediate response. All gas jobs and similar will now be passed to Kristian. Do not know why I pay CORGI ! Cancelling them today Kristian charged me less than his quote. Very Happy.

Kristian was brilliant, always prompt in his communication. Even worked weekends to replace a boiler. Great workmanship and very good price. Thank you for your help.

Happy and satisfied.

Prompt service to both jobs. Pleasant and professional would recommend and will use again in future.

Kristian has undertaken some complex work on our house over the years including gas works, plumbing and some building work. Always clean and consistent. We have asked for advice and Kristian which he has offered in a professional way

We used Local Gas Services when our boiler displayed stopped working and displayed E5 error code. After realising the boiler wasn’t worth repairing, Kristian was extremely helpful in helping us to choose the right boiler for our needs - he talked through every aspect of various makes and models, looking through brochures with us, explaining the various pro and cons of each one. The installation was top quality - quick and neat, just as promised. Every Covid precaution was taken throughout, from initial call out, installation and aftercare visit. I can’t recommend then enough

I had Kristian recommended and he was great, we will use him again. Our vaillant boiler had broke down that morning (18 Feb 21) and he made it to our house in the afternoon. He identified the problem and he fixed it so we had hot water and central heating back that same day. He did this in the cold with our garage door wide open due to location of the boiler - others may have given up. Absolute lifesaver, thank you Kristian - first class.

Kristian attended after our boiler broke down leaving us with no heating or hot water. He was very knowledgeable & professional, and explained the issue to us clearly. He fixed our boiler in a quick manner and for a good price. Would highly recommend.

Very pleased with all work carried out no mess great job

I found Local Gas services through a google search. I was impressed with the reviews so I gave them a call. Although my boiler has seen better days I really appreciated the options that Kristian offered. At first we thought that trying to get the boiler fixed was the best and more importantly cheaper option, just to get us through the winter. However we knew in the long run that replacing the boiler of 19 years old was the better choice. Kristian is extremely knowledgeable and explained things simplistically, giving us lots of important information, so we could make a proper informed decision. I was so thankful that he was sympathetic to our financial situation and supported us towards getting the best deal at an affordable price. Due to unforeseen circumstances Kristian was not able to fit our boiler but he provided us with his colleague Kevin who was brilliant!. He was calm and conscientious and also very knowledgeable. Instead of just pointing us to the manual he was also very patient when explaining how to work with boiler and to set the timings to suit our family needs. He also left the place very tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Kristian and his team. I feel really lucky to have found a genuine and professional company and that the job was done so quickly and efficiently. Just in time for the winter!.

Recommended by a neighbour. Kristian was excellent in dealing with my boiler issues and keeping me updated when he was delayed. So refreshing to receive such good 'client care'. Thank you Kristian.

Exellent service. Very professional. Very polite guy.would highly recommend.

Kristian Karitons employed to provide Annual Landlords Gas Appliances Safety Certificates. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner and plan to use his services annually for the foreseeable future.

Kristian has just carried out his second service on our Veissmann boiler and we have to say he has done an excellent job. He re-set the fiddly timer wheel which has been annoying us for a year, carried out the service, fixed a damaged pipe and cleaned up thoroughly behind him. We can't reccommend his services highly enough. Thanks again.

2nd time we have used Kristian for our boiler find him to be able and friendly and happy to recommend 👍😀

Found Kristians details in Google search and so pleased that I did! Initially all I was wanting was a boiler service and a repair to the pressure hose. What he actually found was a number of faults which resulted in the boiler being condemned on safety issues. Within a couple of days Kristian provided me with a very competitive quote for a new boiler rather than keep throwing money on repairs to a unreliable 14 year old boiler. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently to a very high standard and I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting an honest, reliable tradesman who offers a competitive price and top workmanship. A first class service from start to finish! Tom & Wendy

Kristian has looked after my boiler for several years. He is thorough, friendly and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who appreciates good service at a reasonable price.

We've been using local gas services for the past 4 years. Very polite and professional, all work to a great standard and very reasonably priced

Kristian has done work in this house and my previous house for several years. He's always polite and his work is great. I will continue to use Kristian for my boiler and heating needs.

Kristian is very helpful, friendly and professional and such a nice guy. Highly recommended. We have had Kristian come and do a boiler service for us twice. First time the other year when we had first contacted him regarding boiler servicing and our worry about carbon monoxide, in which Kristian was very helpful asking us many questions to help. Which he then believed that there wasn't any carbon monoxide leaking with us having a alarm and all the questions he asked but was more than happy to come and check it out to service it that afternoon if we still wanted him to. He came around and was very friendly talking about family, music and was very professional went through many details of what he was doing and the different parts of the service. On his more recent visit this year again was very professional and friendly as usual asking about our little boy and gigs etc. He took his time to help look into a issue of potential leak because of pressure dropping in which he discussed all what he was doing and what may potentially need doing if the problem wasn't solved after the service in which after that it seems the issue has been ok now. As stated previously Very Helpful, Professional and Friendly, happy to have found a professional decent local plumber :) Highly Recommended :)

A really reliable and trustworthy person. Always does a good job for us. We have used him a few times and would recommend him to anyone.

When your boiler stops working just when the weather gets cold, your wife and children are cold and there's no water for showers or washing life can get pretty stressful. Looking down the barrel of a four figure bill for a new boiler doesn't relieve the stress! Kristian came out to look at our boiler at very short notice and working around his other job commitments to help us get up and running again. He is an excellent engineer and really understands the technical complexities of boiler workings, in order to diagnose the faults and repair the boiler where others with less technical knowledge suggested the easy option to "replace". First class service from an honest, trustworthy and very knowledgeable company.

Outstanding service

Kristian came to service the boiler today. He was professional and reliable as usual and did a good thorough job.He provides a complete service and I would recommend him to others

We have been using Kristian for three years now for boiler installation and subsequent servicing. He is extremely thorough and dependable - highly recommended !

Great service, reliable and very professional. I would highly recommend.

This is the second time we've used Kristian for some work. Highly recommended!

Friendly professional, quick response, reasonably priced to put my mind at ease my cookers installed correctly and the gas supply is safe in my home.

Recommended. Provided a complete breakdown of costs in the quote which was the final price & £2000 less than British Gas & the big Yorkshire conpanies. Kristian was very knowledgable & kept in touch, explaining the work in detail and did a great job - boiler conversation which I expected to be very messy - was all cleaned up. Great price & very friendly - exactly what you want from someone working on your house. We hadn't had a great experience before contacting Local gas services, lots of people didn't show up or get back to us or provided quotes without details. A relief to find someone who explained things & gave a good price.

Kristian came out to service my Mum's fire. He identified a major problem and came back the same day after another job to complete. Very thorough, professional and complete service. Very nice man too. We would recommend to anybody.

Identified and fixed a leak under my floorboarss. Friendly and informative throughout the job, and gave me excellent advice. Talked me through key decisions in a really clear way, and did a really tidy job when it could have been quite destructive. Would recommend.

Excellent service. Prompt, efficient, an absolute star. Would not hesitate in recommending Kristian to anyone.
