Surrey Solar ltd

“Very reliable solar energy company. Clean work, on time delivery, and helpful after-sales support.”

Gary was very thorough in his work. He even very kindly tidied up some poor workmanship done by someone previously and didn’t charge anything extra. Thanks Gary

Great job done installing bird netting for our solar panels. Sensible price, excellent communications, efficient and tidy. Very happy with the work.

I called Surrey Solar Ltd today to enquire about a possible repair needed for our inverter which was showing an error code. Gary very kindly walked me through some trouble shooting steps to see if that would clear it and has continued to provide me with guidance over the next steps. My experience so far has been extremely positive, and should the error not clear, and the original installer not be able to help, Surrey Solar will be my first call.

Gary has looked after all our family’s electrical needs, on 4 properties, for many years. So when he said he would be handling solar installations as well, we were delighted. Our home has an older solar system, which we knew would need his expertise at some stage. Sure enough, the old inverter failed and Gary carefully researched the best replacement for quality, price and efficiency. As a result we’re now enjoying a noticeable yield improvement without changing the spec for the system, thus maintaining our FiT agreement. The job was completed by Gary and Harry in no time at all and we’re thrilled to bits.

Gary from Surrey Solar Ltd. pigeon proofed our solar panels. He did the job very quickly with quality materials at a competitive price.

Gary was excellent. Very friendly, worked with us to find a solution for our new electric vehicle charger! Thanks so much Gary.

Gary was excellent after roofers disconnected and incorrectly reconnected my elderly dad's solar panels, causing them to burn out. He quickly diagnosed the problem, undid previous bad work by another company and, after finding the problem worse than originally thought, cleared space in his diary and did additional work at cost. He kept me well informed throughout and was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

Gary, Harrison and Ben did an outstanding professional job on our solar panel installation. They were efficient, knowledgeable and kept us informed at every stage. Gary also made sure that we were getting the best from our solar panels too. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Quick response to initial query and then installation of new inverter again quick and easy. Thank you Gary.

Surrey Solar undertook a substantial commercial solar installation project for my youth centre. From start to finish, the service and quality from Gary and his team were first class. From the initial survey, through the design and consultation to the installation I cannot praise Surrey Solar enough. As with all large projects, there are hurdles that come up and Gary’s can-do approach and problem-solving were excellent leading to a professional end result. More than happy to recommend Surrey Solar.

I used Gary after a recommendation from a neighbour. Everything from start to finish was a pleasure. Gary is very precise and exacting plus neat and tidy. If there are any issues he is quick and fair to get them resolved. He also helped me with the tech side of monitoring and setting up the App. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking into Solar panels.

Excellent company run by father and son who are both very talented and highly qualified. Don’t bother with a faceless company that employs cowboys. Get the real thing and go to Surrey Solar ltd. You will not be disappointed.

Gary and Harry did a fantastic job installing our solar battery - great comms and professionalism throughout. The work carried out was exceptional with a great eye for detail (neat cabling etc). Would highly recommend!

Garry and his team did a terrific job for me at very short notice, decommissioning panels for removal prior to roof repairs and recommissioning them afterwards and fixing other problems found along the way. They were knowledgeable and professional throughout. Very pleased.

Gary and team were fantastic from start to finish. Our budget, aim and needs were discussed resulting in a clear proposition being delivered. Our installation was done safely and securely with regular updates re progress. We have now had the system running a couple of weeks and we are delighted with its output. Post installation Gary has stayed in touch making sure everything is operating as expected etc.

Surrey Solar were recommended by the design and build company that constructed my new workshop. With no services to the site I needed an offgrid solar system to provide 240V power for tools and lights. Throughout the phases of specification, design and installation, the team were professional and responsive. Thank you Surrey Solar for providing the appropriate system and for the ongoing support.

Solar panels power system fault. First rate service second to none. Highly recommended for very friendly and professional service. Can’t fault their diagnosis and remedial work, due to their extensive knowledge of Solar PV and battery storage systems they understood and solved my electrical issue very quickly. Many thanks Surrey Solar.

I’ve used Surrey Solar to install a 6kWh system comprising of PV panels, battery, inverter and iBoost water heater. I was really impressed by the standard of installation and the company’s ethics of doing the right thing rather than cutting corners to complete the job early. I found them very reliable and trustworthy and would not hesitate to recommend Surrey Solar to anyone wanting to install a solar system.

My wife and I have just started our journey into renewable energy. The first step was a plug-in Hybrid car. Gary and this team have been amazing and the quality of their work is outstanding. He's so good you have to book in advance as they are to go to the team for Solar, Batteries and Plug in Chargers

Gary, and his son Harry, recently did a great job installing solar panels and batteries to our house. The after-care provided has been great - good tidying up after the scaffold came down and help given to us to understand the app which monitors our panels. Gary’s experience as an electrician was really beneficial as he picked up on electrical work that needed to be done prior to installation. This was missed by three other potential contractors. Being local to us has enabled Gary to pop in to make minor adjustments and to ensure that everything is working properly.

I had several quotes and went with Surrey Solar as Gary was more thorough on assessing my requirements and working with me to understand the options and agree the best solution. The work has been done professionally to a high standard and Gary is a pleasure to deal with. He has helped me to understand the App and shown me how to optimise the system , solar, battery and EV charger. Everything is up and running and I am very happy with it so far.

Surrey Solar recently installed my solar system for me. The standard of work, quality and attention to detail has been second to none. Gary the owner is a thoroughly nice guy who communicates excellently and goes through everything with you, which I needed as solar was all new to me. Highly recommended company who go the extra mile 👏👌

Gary and his Surrey Solar team have just completed a substantial Solar Project for our Village Hall in Woking. We are delighted with how Surrey Solar delivered this for us, we have a first class ‘works first time out of the box’ System. Brilliant! We wanted to enhance our green footprint at the Hall to add to our in situ Air Source Pumps. More importantly, we wanted to protect ourselves against spiralling energy costs so that we don’t have to pass price increases on our users who are having challenging times themselves. Surrey Solar were fantastic at spending time with us to understand the best fit for us: cost v benefit, scalability for future enhancement, System maintenance on-costs v quality and whole life of products alongside interfaces with the Grid for input and output tariffs with installation ideas and opportunities that allowed us to sustain real time operations. Gary spent time with the Trustees to explain the System dynamics and the components that best suited our specification. He communicated really well throughout the Project with regular checks to make sure that our expectations were being met. We had a professional, friendly and trust worthy relationship through out. There were never any problems, just options, ideas and solutions! The Trustees were delighted with the quality of the work. Gary put so much effort into how the work was completed, the cabling routes and the installation and ‘finishing’ of the primary inverter, PV Panels and Batterie are of the best order. High quality work delivered by the fabulous Surrey Solar team, excellent products, installed with care and precision that’s given us 15kWh Solar Power from day one. Thank you Gary, thank you Surrey Solar!!

Asked for a quote and agreed to do so as I had been burnt by cowboys before. Gary attended and agreed to quote so I could present this to my credit card company. He said he would quote over the weekend(if he disputes this I will upload a screenshot as proof) I then get a message on the weekend (5 days later) that he now will charge me for a quote… as for ‘insurance purposes’ .. if this is what we had agreed this is one thing but we had already agreed and he had , to quote for no cost . He has now delayed my dealing with the previous cowboys.. buy smelling the opportunity for profit it seems to me.
