EICR Tracker Spreadsheet

What is it?
The download is a real XLSX workbook with an Instructions sheet and a Properties table. Each property has a row. A formula compares the entered next-inspection date with today; it does not determine compliance or calculate a universal five-year expiry. The original report remains the inspection evidence.
About this template
Keep the actual inspection report and its follow-up actions together across a property portfolio. This workbook records the next inspection date specified by the inspector, the report result, remedial deadlines, confirmation references and dates copies were provided. It highlights recorded dates that are due or approaching when you open the workbook.
When to use
- Reviewing inspection and follow-up dates across a property portfolio
- Taking over management of a property
- Recording remedial confirmation and report-copy dates after an inspection
Tips
- 1Copy dates from the report rather than assuming a five-year interval.
- 2Keep the report and remedial confirmation accessible alongside the tracker.
- 3Date highlighting updates when the workbook recalculates; it does not send notifications.
- 4Check the duties for the property's country and tenancy separately.
Turn report actions into a repair brief
Use the report's observation references when requesting investigation or repair, and retain the written outcome beside the original report.
