Acorn Tree Specialist Limited

I have been using Acorn Tree Specialist for my hedge trimming and tree work for the past 15 years. I always receive a friendly and reliable service. Most recent service was my annual hedge and tree trimming.

Acorn tree specialists visited for our annual hedge pruning. They removed the debris, using their own shredder and left the area very clean and tidy. The team of three did a thorough job in a few hours and they always check to make sure they have all that we require of them. I would highly recommend this company and will be using them again in the future.

The team turned up on time, took down a very large tree with minimal disruption and tidied up afterwards. The whole process was over in less than a day, using 6 men and 11 cups of tea! A job well done, thank you Andy.

Amazing service. Such nice guys. Sorted a dangerous branch for us and went above and beyond to ensure it caused no damage. Cleaned up afterwards and left everything looking great. We would highly recommend them.

Brilliant Service. Took down a tree, ground down the stump and took away the rubbish all in a mornings work. Very happy would recommend.

Super professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend Acorn.

Helpful, knowledgeable advice quoting thoroughly and quickly to bring a number of large trees and a long high hedge back under control. Felled two, reduced height and reshaped two, pallarded one and removed the top of a 20m long hedge, with restricted access. Arrived on time, consulted well throughout and completed work within the agreed schedule, leaving the garden tidy. A pleasure to work with.

Second time I have used them - another really good job Used again in 2025 - as always great and personalised service

We asked a year ago Acorn to remove three very large trees in our garden, and pollard another. I can't praise this company enough: agreeing on dates, job description and price, and Acorn perfectly sticked to the agreement. Very professional, great result, very clean finish. Also left us few logs as discussed. Even more meritful was their dedication in completing the job, despite their heavy and expensive unrooting machine getting badly damaged by a piece of metal burried in my garden. Andy managed to get help from his friend with a similar machine to finish the job (after I used a metal detector to make sure no other metal was left). My other garden plants are blooming, now that the large trees are gone. Thanks very much Andy and Acorn, highly recommended company!

Highly recommend Acorn. The team were punctual, friendly, efficient and left our garden very tidy. They did an excellent job of pollarding our willow and removing a conifer. Will definitely use again… thank you! ☺️

Service was excellent very pleased with work carried out on our tree

We have used their service time and time again and we are very impressed with Andy and his team they were fast efficient and great value for money.

This is a reliable company who came when they said they would and did a very tidy job. I would recommend them.

We have used Andy for more than 12 years. His team are reliable professional and friendly. His advice is invaluable. They ground our some roots of a holly tree and shaped an enormous camellia. They cleared up thoroughly after the job.

Excellent speedy work removing a decaying tree that was potentially threatening a telephone line and an overhead domestic power line.

Fantastic service from initial communication to pollarding completion. Friendly, fast working and tidy. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommended. Work done as agreed and garden left tidy.

Tree Crown Reduction We wanted to reduce the height of our maple tree, which was getting too big for our small garden. We found Acorn Tree Specialist through Check a trade. Andy came round to give us a quote for the work to be done, which I thought was very reasonable. On both times when they knew they were going to be late, they let us know in advance. The chap made an excellent job pruning our tree, which was akward to get at. They cleared away after them, leaving the garden tidy. The whole experience from the quote, prompt response from the office until the day of pruning, were excellent. I would definitely be using this company again in the future.

Andy and the guys did a brilliant job of removing our huge conifers at the bottom of our garden. These conifers were many years old and very tall and thick The weather was absolutely awful but this didnt deter them. Over 2 days they had the area cleared of all trees and roots, ready for my fencing contractor to come in. Great set of guys and very professional and cleaned up after the job was finished. We would highly recommend them to anyone

Excellent, efficient, careful and tidy tree felling

Great service and price. The guys did a fantastic job clearing a load of bramble and roots. It wasn't easy but they did it with a smile :). They left the place very tidy. I would highly recommend Acorn to anyone.

Very satisfied with work done

Andy and his team were friendly, efficient, tidy and good value. We are very pleased with the work done and would highly recommend.

Always honest, trustworthy and reliable. Acorn have done a very good job on my oak tree; I have used them several times now. Recommend!

Very Quick and professional Arrived when organised and carried out the removal of the tree with minimal disruption. Extremely satisfied!! Thank you

Good efficient responsive service. Very happy and have used Acorn's services for several years now.

Great service and great job trimming our tree, the team arrived on time, discussed at each stage what we required and made good before they left. Would recommend this team any day.

Andy's team did an excellent job trimming back the oak trees at the rear of my property. They were efficient, polite, and left everything tidy afterwards.

Many thanks to Andy and his team for an excellent job in incredibly hot weather! My family have used Acorn Tree Specialist Ltd for many years, and I cannot recommend them enough!

Excellent tree work. Andy replied very quickly to our request for a quote and the work was completed on the date agreed. His team were very polite and completed the job quickly. We are very pleased and will be using Acorn again.

Caring and friendly - Andy was our cat retrieval hero today. Why our cat had to go so high up the tree...for the second time, we will never know. It was a huge relief to get in contact with Andy, who was able to get him down with no problem at all. Much gratitude and appreciation for a job well done.

Very good, clean and tidy, If you are looking for a company I’d happily recommend them to others. Andy and his workers are a pleasure to deal with and very well mannered.

Work all done very well and cleaned up afterwards

First class service from Acorn after a tree fell on our house during a storm. Andy sorted out all the logistics (we had to co-ordinate with Network Rail and the council to complete the removal). The job was also a tricky one - a climbing job on an unstable 100ft limb. The team did the job with no fuss and cleared the debris. Reasonably priced too. Can't recommend highly enough!

I had a 60 ft willow tree in my garden which for many years has plagued my garden and the neighbours garden with leaves. Andy and his team arrived promptly and worked hard for 2 days to cut down and remove all the rubbish from the tree. They tidied up after themselves, were very polite and got the job done well within expected timescales. Very pleased with the service from great value quote to completion of job. Would highly recommend Acorn Tree Specialists Ltd.

Very efficient work in felling tree and removing root. Good communication and workmanship. Recommended

Another great tree pruning job! Prompt, efficient and tidy as always. They know what they're doing. I've been using them for years and am always pleased with the results.

Andy and the team did a great job on my holly tree and on my neighbour's high hedge. They were very friendly and punctual and worked efficiently. Everything was cleared away perfectly and the tree and hedge both look perfect. I would definitely recommend Acorn and it's worth waiting if they're busy.

We have used Andy Acorn Trees Specialist for too many years to remember. They have not only felled trees, ground them out but annually maintain our hedges. They are very professional, quick and efficient, completely trustworthy. We have recommended them in the past and will continue to do so

Andy and team are amazing! We've used them twice now to remove a large tree and leylandi hedging. Both times, the team arrive promptly and are extremely efficient. It's all chipped, cleaned up and taken away, like it was never there - and all for a very reasonable price. Absolutely, highly recommend. If I had more trees, I would use them again!

Amazing service, polite, knowledgeable and very efficient team, left the garden tidier than when they arrived, highly recommended!

Very good and clean and tidy . If you are looking for a company I would recommend them very highly. I would use them again if I need them.

Fantastic service from Andy and the team at Acorn Tree Specialist. Tasked with removing a large birch tree the team arrived earlier than expected, completed the job very quickly and left the garden looking spotless. Very approachable and very reasonably priced, highly recommend Acorn and will be sure to use them again in the future!

We’ve used Andy and his team at least three times over the years to prune our trees. They are friendly, professional and courteous. They are tidy workers. Would highly recommend them.

Great job carrying out work required to two trees which have protection orders on them. Knowledgeable on how best to maintain and what would more than likely be acceptable to the relevant authorities. Would recommend Andy and his team!

Excellent service. Very professional and would highly recommend.

Just had the sheer pleasure of using the services of Acorn Tree. Absolutely top notch service, fitted me in the same day and kept me up to date with what was happening. A fantastic company who I will be using again.

Fantastic service from Andy and his team when taking down our oak tree. They were friendly, professionally and courteous at all times. Our garden and the neighbours were left clean and tidy. Would highly recommend and use them again in the future.
