Lumber-Jacks Tree Services Ltd

Professional, efficient and friendly. Great communication. Highly recommended Jack and his team. Thank you for a great job done.

The guys that came today did an outstanding job we were really pleased! Competitive pricing! 10 out of 10

We are very pleased with the work carried out by Jack and his team . I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

For the second time it was a pleasure to meet the team from Lumber-Jacks yesterday. Another great job completed at a competitive rate. I can highly recommend them and will be asking them back if I have further work to be done.

Small job, but all done as i hoped. Thank you, wil use again, recomended !

Very pleased with the work that Lumber-jacks carried out. Three trees felled and a very large oak trimmed to make it safer. The team were highly professional, worked very hard in extreme temperatures, and would happily recommend them.

Great service. Good price for having a tree pruned to remove dead growth. Very tidy job - all cleared away. Recommend.

I would thoroughly recommend this conpany, They arrived promptly, were polite and did an amazing job. They left our magnolia tree looking wonderful and left no sign of debris when they left. Great job, thank you.

Great job by the team. Polite, neat and tidy. Would use again and recommend.

Knocked down an old tree that was only held up by the ivy, but managed to then block the drive with the debris. Lumber-Jacks came to the rescue and managed to slot us into his very busy schedule. Jack was very responsive, polite and professional. I would recommend that if you need a talented professional to help you with your tree related challenges he is your man.

I recently had a brush pile removed by Lumber-Jacks, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. The team worked efficiently from start to finish, even when their shredder broke down partway through the job. Despite that setback, they still managed to clear the entire pile and leave the area neat and tidy before heading off. Their professionalism, work ethic, and positive attitude really stood out. Highly recommended!

Good communication. Arrived promptly. The two man team were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

The team did an amazing job with my oak tree and front hedge. Polite and efficient on the day. I will be using LumberJacks again for more work over the year. Thank you.

Jack came round promptly to discuss and advise on reduction to silver birch tree. The work was put in hand shortly and the tree looks in beautiful shape. Highly recommend.

Great job on the apple trees, and no damage to my spring flowers underneath- thank you

We recently used Lumber Jacks to trim a tree in our garden that has a TPO, and I honestly could not be more impressed with their service. From start to finish, they handled everything professionally and efficiently. They took care of the entire council application process for the protected tree, which completely removed the stress from our side. Their communication throughout was clear and reassuring, and they made sure all the required permissions were properly in place before any work began. When it came to the actual tree work, the team did a brilliant job. The trimming was carried out carefully and sympathetically, improving the shape and safety of the tree while keeping it healthy and looking natural. The before and after photos really show the difference. What stood out most was their attention to detail. They removed and recycled all the waste wood, left our garden spotless, and even cleared up thoroughly in our neighbour’s property where a few branches had fallen. That level of care and consideration says a lot about their professionalism. If you need work done on a protected tree and want a company that knows exactly what they’re doing and handles the whole process properly, I would highly recommend Lumber Jacks.

Jack and his team did a great job on the tree, reducing its crown. He is quick to reply to emails, turns up on time for the job and leaves all clean and tidy when job is finished. Highly recommended.

Great job by a couple of very helpful guys. Jack's price was extremely reasonable and the whole process - taking 5 lower branches off a garden tree - was quick, tidy and professional.

Swift quote, no nonsense, job carried without any problems did exactly what I requested.

Very professional and friendly experience, completed the work promptly, to specification, and left not a speck of mess behind!

A 5-star service from start to finish. Excellent professional job, tidied everything away, and always personable and polite. Would highly recommend.

Lumberjacks arrived on time, their quote was reasonable and their service professional. Very much did what they said they would do - in this case, pollarding a large willow. Will use again in future.

Very pleased with the work carried out pruning our apple tree. Arrived on time and cleared all debris. Jack and his team were very pleasant.

Jack and his team did an amazing job today. Professional, and excellent workmanship throughout. Doesn't break the bank either! We are very pleased. Thank you

This is my first time using Lumber-Jacks Tree Services. They were recommended to me and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. Their quote was very reasonable and Jack and his team were polite, courteous and worked hard to finish the job in good time. I requested more to be taken off a particular tree when they asked me if I was happy with everything before they left and it was no trouble at all. I will definitely be using them again in the future. Great work!

Quick to reply to quote, arrived on time and on schedule. Work done to cost and to a high quality. Would recommend.

Jack and his team provided a great service when cutting down a few trees for us. We really appreciate their hard work and will be back in touch in the future!

From the first telephone call to Jack back in July 2025 who was on an overseas family holiday, to me that went a long way. Jack and his team came & have done a superb job trimming Leylandii x5 / Cypress x3 trees, to reduce tops by approx. 2–3 meters and trim face to tidy. Very professional, trustworthy and polite. Super clear up after job was finished. I sent the same e-mail & pics to other local tree surgeons & Jack was the only one who made time to do a site visit in the daytime. F.A.B. We only had one other tree surgeon visit one evening, that quote was very high & when Jack e-mailed over his quote & the way he came across. That was that & I did NOT waste my time on any others coming in the evenings. On my job today, 7.10.25. The reason Jack can get out to do quoting daytime when he needs to is that unlike the others local tree surgeons, 2 of his 3 chaps on my job today trained to climb & doing the cutting, and Jack did some climbing & cutting hands-on boss. They also removed most of the front bush that was dead, that was not in the quote, see pic. I said to Jack today, we've been having them trimmed since 2003. No one has ever returned. They followed health and safety procedures. They operate head and shoulders above other similar companies that I've previously hired. I would definitely recommend and hope to use them again another year! SOME PIC'S. BEFORE 4. “Work in progress” (WIP) 2. AFTER 5. FRONT BUSH 2.

This is the third time we've used Lumber-Jacks Tree Services Ltd. Once again - very satisfied. Fair price, more than met expectations and left the garden neat and tidy after completing the work.

Jack is great. We totally trust him with our trees and he has done several jobs for us now. He knows what he is doing and also leaves everything spotless. Highly recommend!

Driving 17-12-24 !!! The Driver of the Land Rover that is sign written on this evening needs to take some advanced driving lessons, not only did he try and be cocky on a round about and cut me up but further on decided to try and box clever again this time cutting up an NHS van carrying Blood, I hope he is better up a tree with a tool in his hand that his driving, who ever you think you are I can confirm you’re a rather large “TOOL” when I comes to your courtesy concerning road and highways laws, my Dash cam footage has been up loaded to Surrey police. Personally, I would avoid totally

Good work, reasonably priced and a friendly team

A first rate job carried out exactly as agreed.A great firm to deal with

Arrived promptly on day and got to work straight away and worked diligently, also resolving a couple of minor issues we hadn’t noticed, very happy customers. Exceptional service, would highly recommend and would definitely use again when the need arises.

Excellent tree works completed by Lumber-Jacks at reasonable cost. Left everything clean and tidy afterwards and took care not to damage nearby shed and bird box. Very helpful in obtaining the local council consent (which is sadly now a v. long process) on our behalf to work on trees wth TPO's.

We are very happy with the recent hedge trimming and topping work carried out by Lumberjacks. The work was professionally done and the site left clean and tidy and with minimal fuss.

Lumber-Jacks arrived on time and were in good form to do the work. They had remembered what needed to be done. Starting at the back they speedily and attractively achieved all I needed doing, which was trimming the very topmost branches all around. Clearing up was done well. Am happy to recommend them for careful tree felling and topmost trimming. Brilliant! Will keep their details for next time too. SR

Second time I’ve used Jack and his team for hedge trimming and small tree/bush pruning. Reliable and tidy. Happy to recommend.👍

Jack and his Team were super efficient , they did a great job on our huge hedge , it was not an easy job as the tree was from my neighbours garden taking all the light from both our house and garden. Top had to be taken back, and masses of long branches to be cut and cleared away. Jack advised on all the pros and cons beforehand , didn't help having torrential rain most of the day, but they cleared everything up efficiently afterwards . . Will certainly use them again, and can recommend them highly . Honest, straight, and polite and quoted a fair price for the job.

Jacks team of Daniel and James did a fantastic job! Professional polite left the garden super clean and hedges looking great ! 100% would recommend and use again !

Turned up early but were considerate; didn't start work until 08.30 as they said the noise would be very loud. Worked their way through what I was invoiced for, clearing up as they went along until the job was finished. The team of two were polite and communicated with me on a regular basis. Thank you

They were mindful of the space for the lorry and were polite and professional with my neighbours who were concerned about access for a delivery. The work was carried out quickly but properly. They cleaned up on completion and left everything in good condition. They also gave me some advise on what sort of wood should and should not be burned in a wood burner after I asked for some left over logs which was useful. Good service from start to finish, I would use them again and recommend to anyone. Thanks

Great arborists with a well thought through plan, approach, skills and attention to detail. Prompt and flawelss communication by the business owner Jack. I have already made enquires with Jack for future work to be carried out and I have no qualms in recommending them

I cannot express my gratitude enough for the exceptional service provided by Lumberjacks Ltd. When my cat found itself stranded up a tall tree on a recent Sunday, Jack from Lumberjacks Ltd came to our rescue at very short notice. I cannot recommend Jack and his team more highly. Professional, amenable, helpful, experienced, hard working and any other positive adjectives you can think of. Include brave, hanging high in the branches whilst cutting the trees down. They did a great job, quickly, well priced and totally cleared up before they left. Such a pleasant experience, as I'm sure others have had bad experiences with tradesmen, a very welcome change. I haven't actually used Lunber-Jacks yet...but if I need a tree surgeon I definitely will! Jack has recently helped out a young teen who I was supporting on a coaching programme with the charity Future Frontiers. He gave up his time to talk about how to get into arboriculture, what it's like to be a tree surgeon and has really helped to inspire the next generation! Thank you so much Jack :)

I had a fantastic experience with Lumber Jacks. Their efficiency, customer-friendly approach, and polite demeanor made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I received a very competitive price from Lumber-Jacks for the removal of two large Lawson Cypress trees in my rear garden. The work commenced promptly on the arranged day and took a full day plus part of the following morning to complete. The men were very courteous and cleaned up all the associated mess, including any debris that had fallen into the neighbours property. I would highly recommend them.

Five Star service from Lumber-Jacks Tree Service. Jack provided a swift response to my request for a tree survey. He identified the work that needed to be undertaken, he applied for the TPO permission with the Borough Council to undertake the work, provided a competitive quote in a timely manner, agreed a date for the work to be undertaken, arrived promptly, with appropriate safety equipment, worked carefully to ensure there was no damage to greenhouses and sheds, was polite, professional and left the garden immaculate. All the trees and leaves were cleared and removed and sustainably disposed off. I would highly recommend Jack and his team if yo require tree surgery.

Very good. This is the second time we have used Lumber Jacks. Again they, were very professional, polite and tidy. Would recommend and use again, if needed.

Absolutely brilliant. They sorted everything from start to finish including obtaining all the necessary permissions from Richmond council to fell multiple trees. Jack was great, very personable and even did a few extra bits not in the original quote. Lumbar -Jacks feels like a big company with a personal touch. Thank you!

No complaints whatsoever! Jack and his team turned up on time, and were professional and courteous throughout. Trees removed, stumps ground out, and all debris cleaned up and removed efficiently. My back garden is now seeing a lot more sunshine ... a job well done.

Great friendly service at a very good price. Removed stumps very effectively with powerful equipment. Will definitely use Jacks service again.

Company arrived on the scheduled day and time, neatly trimmed two oak trees and removed ivy per quote. They removed all debris and left the area spotlessly clean. Recommended.

Arrived at the agreed time and date with proper equipment. Worked efficiently, safely and professionally. Clearly experienced. Fully satisfied with the pruning of a Eucalyptus and removal of a fir tree. Left the job tidy on completion. Invoice in line with quotation. Would strongly recommend the company's services.

Jack is really nice! Good job. Well-done!

Fantastic service today from Jack and his team. The entire process from quoting us to booking in, and then arriving to undertake the work was faultless. Everything was done to a very high standard and the garden was left tidier I think then when they started (thank you). I would recommend to anybody considering using Lumber Jack tree services.

Lumber-Jacks are very professional and customer orientated. From the point of our initial meeting to the start date, which was only 2 weeks, we carried out quite a bit of landscaping which impacted access to the trees, "not a problem", Jack and his team just got on with the work without any negativity. I was kept informed regarding arrival times and they were here when they said they would be. Pricing, I thought, was fair and reasonable and he came across as knowledgeable and honest. It was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend them

Jack and his team did a great job. He turned up on time and within 45 minutes our medium sized apple tree was down and cleared away. A very god service at a competitive price. Would highly recommend.

Very efficiently trimmed back my conifer, even though the weather that day was terrible. Cleaned up well afterwards. Great job.

Excellent, good value service from Jack! We have had 3 trees reduced by him all done exactly as I wanted as all the waste (except for useful logs) taken away. Great service, highly recommended.

Competitive quote. Efficient and very tidy.

Jack turned up on time, worked hard in the bitter cold and did a throughly good job cutting back over hanging branches from trees in my and neighbours gardens. He left the garden as tidy as it was before he did his work. I would throughly recommend him.

Jack & his team have done a first class job. They cleaned the area after the work was completed & I have no problem recommending there work.

Very happy to recommend the tree surgery work from this company. A first class professional service at a competitive price.

I would highly recommend Jack's company. Excellent work carried out to a very high standard. Very tidy and no debris was left behind. I will certainly be using them again in the future.

Lumber-Jacks service was exemplary in all respects. Jack arrived at the agreed time to quote and his specialist equipment in and being towed by his van, demonstrated that he is the 'real deal'. His knowledge was clear in understanding the two high trees that I wanted to have 'crown topped' and thinned. Jack's quote arrived same evening and was both professional and competitive and it included his insurance details. I accepted Jacks quote and he arrived on time, for the agreed start. Jack also confirmed the day before. On the day, Jack and his two apprentices were truly professional at all times. The work was completed, my questions were answered fully and the decks were cleared of all debris. I would not hesitate to use Lumber-Jacks again and I have already recommended him to two neighbours, who want tree work done.

Jack and his team took down 3 x 60ft plus conifer trees for us. Very professional, polite friendly and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

Jack was very quick at providing a quote which was exactly the same price as invoiced. He was super efficient and reliable. He was punctual with both the date and time. Even sent a reminder email the day before. Extremely pleased with trimming of sides and tops of Evergreen trees. They look very neat and had to judge height precisely due to backing neighbours extension, so that we don't become over looked. Left my garden spotless. I would happily recommend Jack and will certainly use again in the future.

Arrived promptly and worked well. Looking to book them for further work.

Great service

Efficient, Tidy, polite. Will use again.

Great job done by Jack and gang, would certainly use again and again, very professional, tidy, and a very good price. Highly recommend.

They have done 3 tree-surgery jobs for me recently. Their rates are competitive, they do the work well and efficiently, and they leave the site tidy.

Jack was very responsive when I enquired for a quote. Upon accepting the quote Jack scheduled a date to carry out the work which he kept to. On the day Jack and his team turned up on time and did a brilliant job at cutting two large hedges, one of which had grown quite high. They removed all the tree debris from the garden and left it clean and tidy. I am very pleased with the service Jack provided.

Jack did my mums hedges, excellent work, no complaints, and was extremely kind to my mum who has dementia. Very trustworthy.

Amazing services, was fast and efficient. Highly recommend.

Called Jack last minute after a storm blew down a tree in our garden. Jack came out the next day and removed the tree and even chopped all the burnable debris into handy chunks for us to use in our wood burner. He was so friendly with our dogs and left our garden looking tidier than before the tree fell. Thank you Jack, won’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone.

I’ve used Lumber-Jacks a couple of times now and they always do a great job. They’re well priced and our garden looked impeccable afterwards as they took away everything that had been cut down. Brilliant service!
