Mdh plumber arranged replacement of corroded bathroom drain to fit my schedule and arrived at time agreed. completed job competently with no fuss. Plumber very courteous and happy to answer my questions.

I had a great experience with this plumber. Communication was clear and prompt, the job was completed quickly, and the quality of work was spot on. Everything was left tidy and working perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

They arranged the appointment within 24 hrs and communicated with me fantastically - all at a competitive price! Highly recommended.

Great job as always, great service.

Brilliant company 100% recommend. All work finished to a high standard. Very pleased with the outcome of our new ensuite install

We recently bought our first home and completed a full bathroom renovation before moving in, which included a complete reconfiguration of the space. This involved knocking down a wall, changing the door, blocking up a window, relocating the boiler from upstairs to downstairs, installing a new soil pipe, and repositioning the toilet, sink, shower, and bath. Matt and his team were fantastic from start to finish. What really stood out to us was Matt’s attentiveness. As this was our first renovation, we had plenty of questions, and he was always responsive, patient, and helpful. Partway through the job, we decided to install a water softener, and Matt handled the change with no issues at all, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Any time we had concerns or wanted to make adjustments, Matt was approachable and genuinely focused on making sure we ended up with the bathroom we wanted. His communication was consistently quick and clear throughout the entire job, which made a big difference. We’re really happy with the end result and would highly recommend Matt and his team.

Used for many years with annual gas check on boiler. Very pleased with service all round.

Matt has looked after our properties for the last 15 or so years - general maintenance, new developments and refurbs. My tenants are always delighted with his team's work and they have done a lot of work personally for me in my own home over the years. Highly recommend.

MDH plumbing sorted a few issues for us. Matt fit us in quickly and followed through with the planned appointment. He also sent one of his guys back so quickly to address a small issue which we massively appreciated- really demonstrated his values. We'd definitely use MDH again if needed :)

I have complete confidence in MDH plumbing. Competent, reliable, and at a fair price.

What a man. Class as anything, young energetic and very good at his job. Deeply polite, friendly and I highly recommend. Ps thanks for letting me look over the specs of your van Michael

We had a heating issue and arranged for mdh Plumbing to access keys to our holiday home. Matt is extremely trustworthy, reliable and efficient. He identified the problem quickly and sought cost effective solutions. Issue all fixed and we are very grateful for the very professional service. Thank you very much and highly recommended.

28/12/2025 Matt and Kieran saved the day in installing a new boiler today both were extremely professional, on time, tidied up after themselves and went the extra mile and kept all fully updated. Many thanks. Janice Sheeran. Flat 4.

I would recommend Matt to anyone. This was the first time he had carried out our gas boiler service, completing it in a polite, efficient way and for the price quoted. In addition, he went the extra mile with another minor issue in the bathroom that needed addressing. Excellent service. Thanks Matt.

It’s rare to find such professionalism and attention to detail these days. The quality of the work was outstanding, and the price was very fair. I’ll definitely be using Matt, MDH Plumbing and Heating again for any future plumbing needs and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy plumber

Matt asked his colleague Adam to attend our property to resolve a leaking toilet cistern. Adam arrived when he said he would and resolved the issue swiftly replacing the worn parts. The service is excellent.

Very helpful and efficient, thank you ☺️ would definitely recommend

Fixed our problem quickly and efficiently, 100% recommend

Just what you want in a plumber - great communication, on time, fair prices and excellent work

Matt has been brilliant to work with from start to finish on my recent bathroom renovation. Nothing was too much trouble and he was willing to work with me to make sure that the finish was exactly what I wanted. I would fully recommend MDH Plumbing.

I have been relying on Matt to take care of all plumbing needs at my property in Bournemouth while I live overseas, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Matt is incredibly trustworthy, always professional, and genuinely reliable. Whenever I’ve needed help, he responds quickly and efficiently, providing top-notch service without any hassle.

I cannot praise Matt and his company highly enough. Our building is listed, 160 years old and is challenging. Matt personally solved a number of issues that had foxed others: in fact he seemd to relish finding solutions rather than excuses. He and his team of engineers communicated at all times, arrived when they said they would, protected the areas they were working in, produced neat work, tidied up after themselves and were totally professional throughout.

Matt provides an excellent service and is very reliable and efficient. Highly recommend MDH

Matt and team at MDH plumbing were extremely courteous and very quick and efficient when I needed a leak sourcing and fixing. All questions were answered and works fully explained. Would 100% recommend these guys.

Excellent service, thank you

Haven't got a bad thing to say about theses guys. I've had reason to call on them of times and on both occasions have found them to be totally professional in all they do. Brad and Dave are awesome, not disruptive, very courteous and their work was top notch. They were always polite and I'd have no problem recommending this company. Thanks guys!

Matt and his team always do an excellent job. What’s impressive is how quick they get the job done and where that can lead to problems there has never been an issue and if anything my heating system works better than it did before.

Great. V patient when I accidentally gave the wrong number 😊

Matt acted promptly and efficiently in solving our heating problem and we would definitely recommend him.

Matt is a top guy, goes the extra mile to get things sorted! Highley recommend. Will be using again in the future.

Matt was recommended by a neighbour and was professional and turned up exactly when he said he would. Fair pricing and now added to my trusted traders list.

Matt is great use him every year to service boiler and to fix any issues. So polite and helpful. Highly recommend

I contacted MDH about a leak. By 11.30 am on the next working day it was fixed. Great service, fair price, happy customer 👏

Have used for various issues over time…. Always done a super job !

Absolutely amazing service. Had another plumber let us down 3 times. Matt turned up on time and fixed the problem immediately . Can’t rate him highly enough.

An excellent service provided by MDH - fast, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommended this company.

We have always used MDH for last 14 years. Very good practically and technically. Just had a replacement vanity unit and the two gentlemen with Matt were extremely courteous and willing to answer questions. Likewise Matt will always explain when asked. Additionally, very good value too.

Matt came round and fixed the problem I strongly recommend him

This was the result of a recommendation. Friendly response and best of all well as doing the job properly and without fuss, kept his promises to phone and turn up. Since my last review I have used mdh Plumbing & Heating for my yearly boiler service and to install new taps on my bathroom sink. I cannot fault their professionalism and their friendliness and they were also a pleasure to deal with. This is my second time for using mdh. But this time for my daughter. Just as good an experience as before. Her bath for the past few years often empties very slowly. As before, the promise to contact us was kept and two men spent not far off two hours on the job and have managed to largely resolve the problem without a massive bill. It is unusual to find businesses these days with a proper work and business ethic. My neighbour some months ago called them out for what to me was a minor problem, but someone from mdh came out straight away and resolved the problem. It us nice to know that mdh are there to provide emergency cover and that all of the mdh employees are so friendly. On e good thing, amongst others, is that Matt is always reassuring. We had an emergency. He attended very quickly, diagnosed the problem and within a couple of days obtained the parts and resolved the problem. He has a good team behind him, on this occasion Josh and David who were extremely polite and put themselves to a lot of trouble and finished the job without fuss.

Josh (with the mini) did a job no other plumber could do. He was polite, quick, efficient and courageous will always come back to MDH P.S hope the van gets fixed

Really good service from this company. Originally called our to repair a faulty toilet cistern valve, but then helped out with another problem relating to our water pressure. Very polite and helpful plumbers.

Matt is very responsive, and always does a good job

Fast, efficient and got the job done - fairly priced too. Would recommend

Excellent 5 star service

I have known Matt at MDH for many years and can recommend them 100%. Always helpful and reliable.

Super helpful and friendly service. Went above and beyond to get our boiler issue resolved and did a great and thorough job. Highly recommended!

I have used MDH for a number of years and once again prompt and professional service from Matt and the team. Highly recommended.

Matt came through a recommendation from friends. We have used them since. Excellent communication, quick response time and good value. Can't recommend enough.

Quick, efficient, 10/10 quality. My radiator wasn’t working and he came straight round! Turns out it only needed bleeding! Matt was a delight and very easy on the eye! If you book him in the summer, he comes with his top off. 10/10

Very good work done, prompt, polite, done exactly what was required and cleaned up. Will be using again.

As Plumbing & Heating specialists MDH is top of the list. My central heating boiler packed up completely during the recent cold spell (Jan 24). Contacted Matt at MDH who ascertained and remedied the problem extremely quickly. First class service Nick & Denise

Matt kept us up to date on arrival time and then was very thorough and competent in his service and advice for future options. Thank you.

Fast and fabulous emergency visit, reasonable price and very helpful :-)

Matt fixed another plumbing problem super efficiently. He doesn't overcharge and is always reliable and responsive.

As a pensioner it is particularly comforting to know that Matt and his team will come to our help promptly courteously and efficiently and resolve our problem at a sensible price!

A fabulous company. Extremely responsive, even at weekends. Reliable and very professional

Had Matt install a new hob and do annual boiler checkup in my house in England. I am in Canada! Response time was excellent, communication very precise and I’m very pleased with the total amount. Would highly recommend him!!

We’ve been using mdh plumbing & heating services for many years now and they never fail to provide an excellent service. We wouldn’t use anyone else and highly recommend them. Matt fitted a new glow worm boiler for us and his work is very efficient and all was done in a day. The prices are fair and the service is great. Thank you 😊

MDH Plumbing, and especially Matt, offer an amazing service, not only are they very professional, but the attitude to help when you are in a difficult situation is above and beyond. I cannot rate them highly enough.

Once again prompt, courteous and efficient service from Matt at mdh. I have used this company for years and I highly recommend them.

They have replaced my mums boiler and mine. Replaced all old radiators. No job is to big or small… I won’t use anyone else x

Unprofessional, rude tradesman with the way in which he communicates. Calls himself the highest reviewed plumber in England - if only that translated into customer service. Was meant to do kitchen sink for me, by separating it from dishwasher and washing machine, as I've suffered from a strong musty smell coming up it for almost a year now. Was all agreed and i was so relieved to have finally found someone with such good reviews to do the job, after having bad trade jobs in the past! I was filled with hope when he agreed to help. However not long later when i was asking him questions about the job (as i'm not a plumber and like to gain an understanding of what's being done in house), he came out with the fact he couldn't smell anything on the day and that my allergies were in my head. Explained pupils have even smelt it and said that was called 'imagination'. Although upset, I tried to dismiss it at the time, as he showed a lot of knowledge in his messages about actual job, claimed to want to do it and to be honest I just wanted it done! But it's been continuous insults since then. He may as he says multiple times be 'the highest reviewed plumber in England', but you can be the best at something in the world, but a customer doesn't want to feel bullied or disrespected. I've tolerated lots of dyslexic messages and now drunken voice notes, yet I am the crazy one! Moreover he has not lifted a finger in terms of actually trying to help source the parts and I've been trying to order parts for months (coming from abroad). He said his job is a plumber, not sourcer - despite visiting a plumbers merchant most days. He refused to set up an account to order parts leaving me the customer to sort it all out. Fortunately with the help of the lovely plumbers merchant and about 20 phone calls later to the company, I managed to finally order parts this week and text him to share the news thinking he'd be happy for me. But what i received back was shocking: drunken inappropriate voice messages, again mocking me for wanting new parts (despite never suggesting a suitable alternative kit) and then a phone call; the nature of which has left me truly shocked as a single woman. My search for a plumber is now back to square one, but preferably someone nice and professional as opposed to someone who deems my plumbing problems to be in my head, in spite of friends and pupils also smelling the pungent smell that affects my health. I am left shocked and upset by his rude behaviour and don't want to be writing this, as was so invested in him doing the job after a few bad experiences in the past. But I feel this trumps them all. I feel so let down and after this whole encounter there's no turning back.

We had a new bathroom fitted and all went well apart from a few hiccups which were put right very quickly. The team worked hard and did a great job, very pleased with the end result.

I can highly recommend mdh Plumbing and Heating. They were brilliant, I can't thank them enough for fitting me in and sorting out my bath.

Found on Facebook through recommendations in the local area group. Very efficient and thorough

Great company and team!

Outstanding service, we started Monday morning with a broken boiler and had a new one at 0730 on Tuesday morning. Courteous, fast and excellent work. Could not ask for any more and would recommend MDH for all your plumbing needs, big or small.

As a landlord I really value the prompt friendly service. My tenants do too very much.

Matt and his team were fantastic and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Called out for a boiler service and ended up being a new boiler installation. Matt was brilliant at explaining everything and communicating throughout. Being December, it was very cold to be without heating, but he managed to get in the very next day to complete the work. Brilliant service, fair price and so quick! Particular mention and thanks to Ryan and Jack, who interacted so positively and patiently with my 2 young sons whilst working. Certainly helped me relax about the fact that they were running round all over the place and asking countless questions of them. Thank you so much. MDH plumbing will definitely be my first call for any future plumbing needs.

I used Matt to undertake a gas safety inspection of a property. As requested, he completed the task timely, with professionalism and completed the relevant documentation. I would recommend Matt.

Matt and his team are absolutely excellent. Matt is always willing to help as swiftly as he possibly can. He is very pleasant to deal with and extremely knowledgeable. His charges are also reasonable. Based on my experience over the past few years I have no hesitation in strongly recommending MDH.

Had a bathroom hot tap stuck on. 1 call to mdh and they gave us an assurance that they would get a plumber to us asap. Couple of hours later, nice young lad turned up, reviewed the damge and went off to buy replacement taps. He soon returned and worked his magic. Problem solved. We were very happy and a very reasonable price. Many thanks mdh.

Boiler making weird noise: we came back from our holidays to find our boiler not working & making a weird noise. Matt came the very next day, identified & fixed the problem within 15 minutes. Whilst we were away, the painters had removed the flue pipe and replaced it incorrectly, so it was drawing in , rather than blowing out carbon monoxide. This is the 3rd time we have used Matt & he never fails to impress with his professionalism and the quality & speed of his repairs!

Matt was a total professional person to deal with, very knowledgeable and very helpful. Will def use him again thanks Matt

Matt and Carl installed a new boiler for me. I was super impressed with their professionalism, they fully explained the system and left the place spotless. Thank you

The whole team were friendly and very professional. They made a huge effort to ensure the house was tidy before they left. MDH Plumbing provided a total refurbishment of 2 bathrooms two months ago. We were delighted with them when they were finished and even more so today after use. Matt supervised the work throughout and had a good team of skilled workers who consistently worked to a high standard ensuring everything was left clean and tidy each day. The team worked to the original plan but were sufficiently flexible to be able to make minor changes requested by us as the work progressed. The work was finished on time. We would highly recommend him. Our only regret is that his service is a local one and cannot refurbish our daughter's 3 bathrooms as she lives 90 minutes away.

I have been using MDH Plumbing and Heating for over 6 years now and can’t recommend them highly enough. I have a tenanted flat in Bournemouth and found Matt so helpful he always responds promptly and goes out of his way to help which is very reassuring. Very professional and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Matt has done our plumbing and central heating maintenance for years. I had not realised he also did bathroom fitting too. I'm really glad we used him as he did a superb job in completely refitting a bathroom. Better still he fitted it whilst we were not at the flat and managed around the constraints of lockdown. I'm very happy to recommend his excellent work.

If 6 stars were available they would get the extra. My job involved removing tiles and a soggy soaked underfloor, and fixing a lavatory. Each of the guys involved were experts, clean, tidy, fast and punctual. As a result mdh are quoting for a major refit. If I have a problem in future they will be the first people I call

I’ve been a customer of MDH plumbing for 3 years. Matt is extremely competent, tidy, and friendly, also gone out of his way to look after me many times. Recommend MDH as first port of call for any plumbing work.

Amazing and friendly professional service

Originally was referred to MDH following some poor experiences elsewhere. We had a boiler issue which was unfix-able according to 2 other companies, but MDH was able to fix. We have since recommended Matthew to various other friends and family who have all been very satisfied with the service levels. Would highly recommend.

We have used Matt and his team for many of our plumbing jobs now. Nothing is ever to much for these guys and they get the job done with absolutely no fuss. Always polite and friendly too! Would have no hesitation in recommending this local company.

Recently used MDH plumbing and I found their service to be excellent. I was also impressed with how quickly they came back to me with my quote which was very competitive. I would recommend them and use them again in the future. thanks

Matt is always reliable, great at time keeping and extremely professional. If you want someone you can trust, MDH Plumbing is highly recommended.

Have never had anything but fantastic service from MDH Plumbing. Now they are our go-to plumbing&heating company for all jobs big and small and we're very happy with that. Highly recommend.

Have used MDH for a couple of years, very professional and exceptional workmanship. No hesitation in recommending.

I would like to thank Matt at MDH for coming out so quickly to fix my broken boiler, on a cold April evening. Even though Matt was extremely busy he went out of his way to make sure my boiler was fixed as soon as possible. Matt fully explained the error code F3 on my Glow worm boiler, and that he needed to check the Fan and PCB board Matt is very honest and fair, explainimg the most cost effective way to get the job done. He kept me updated with progress and was very professional and polite. I would not hessitate to recommend MHD and will definitely use MHD again.

My wife and I have been using MDH Plumbing & Heating for 10 or so years now. During that time Matt and his team have installed a new boiler, fitted new radiators, installed a new bathroom and taken care of any servicing and emergency call outs. Matt and his team have always maintained a very high standard of work along with a professional attitude. We would highly recommend MDH Plumbing & Heating.

Matt at MDH plumbing did a fantastic job on our bathroom. Reasons why we were so happy with the work are: 1. Super fast responses & honest communication throughout the whole process. Matt's fast replies were a real differentiator for me as so often tradesmen take ages to respond! 2. Always searched for solutions / aimed to resolve any issues or questions we raised. Nothing was too much trouble for Matt. 3. Very tidy, cleaned up after the work 4. Attention to detail was very good. All the contractors-tiler, electrician also did work to high standard. Our new bathroom looks gorgeous. We would definitely recommend MDH 👍

Unbelievable service! If MDH can’t get to you straight away, they’ll try and help over the phone in the first instance. If you have an emergency, you can be assured they will get to you ASAP. Even when I’ve had small jobs, they actually turn up! And to top it off, no crazy charges!

I use MDH in both a professional and personal capacity and find they provide a prompt service which offers good value for money. Nothing is too much trouble for them and their work is always top standard. They are honest and open and I look forward to continuing to working with them.

Great response time and the team treated my property with care and left zero mess behind. 100% would use again

Fast response times, highly efficient, professional and clean. Couldn't ask more, thank Matt.
