Essex Bathroom services

Really impressed with our Garage Conversion - Simon & his team came up with ideas, organised everything and gave us a brilliant finished article! Wished we’d have done this a lot sooner - Thankyou - would highly recommend

Simon and his team really are the absolute best. They are all the height of professionalism and take so much pride in their work. We only met Simon 2 weeks ago after months of time wasted with other companies that either didn't understand what I wanted or just simply didnt turn up. And then we met Simon and everything fell into place. Simon was always punctual and if he says he is going to do something consider it done. His attention to detail is phenominal and this shows in the quality of his workmanship, the products he uses and in that of the team he has working for him. All of the team are so helpful and respectful and I can not stress enough how fast and efficient they are. They are truly like elves as each evening when I came home from work the only sign they had been here was the evolving beautiful bathroom. No mess to clean or tidy up. Simon has so much knowledge and awareness of what looks good and what will work that I found the months of stress and worry about getting the bathroom sorted just ebbed away. He is always available to offer suggestions and guide you in the right direction whilst listening to what you want. I can not thank Simon and all of his team enough for transforming my bathroom into an absolute sanctuary. I can't wait to work with Simon again in the future on our kitchen project I know that will be just as easy and fantastic. I would highly recommend Simon without any hesitation.

Excellent work! Stayed in communication throughout the project and the team were very efficient at getting the job done to a high standard.

Truly amazing from day one of us contacting them. Amazing design, hard working and the end result is more than we ever expected. 100% recommend, they were here every morning cracking on, kept everything clean and tidy throughout the whole process. Thank you all so much for creating a beautiful bathroom for all of us.

Simon and his team did an outstanding job. Start to finish for bathroom in 6 days...tidying up every step of the way. Really liked having Simons expert opinions throughout particularly through the design phase...giving guidance around what layout would work best as well as finishing touches. We could not be happier! Thank you!

Highly recommend Essex Fitters. Simon and his team are all Superb! Simons communication was second to none, providing great advice on styles, colours, fixtures and fittings. His attention to detail was excellent. The whole process was finished in only 6 days and completely stress free. The team were extremely professional and tidy. I now have a stunning bathroom which is much more than I could have envisaged! I will certainly be returning for further projects.

We are absolutely delighted with our garage conversion. After several complicated quotes, often several quotes for all the different bits we wanted (Some quotes didn’t include painting, flooring etc) we eventually contacted Essex Fitters and Simon came round and was so friendly and engaging. I would go as far to say he was excited and passionate about it. Simon’s approach was refreshing…one quote for everything! His planning was exceptional with an AI video created to allow us to see that it could look like. We got to pick any flooring we wanted, including herringbone flooring, which most companies would charge you extra for. Simon is so passionate and the added extras are brilliant. He installed WiFi radiators, Bluetooth speakers in the ceiling and app controlled Simon installed our projector and screen, along with our blinds, all of which saved us the time and effort of either doing it ourselves or the cost of having someone else do it. As an added bonus, the team were extremely tidy, even drawing ‘wows’ from the Mother in Law about how tidy they were! I couldn’t recommend Essex Fitters enough and we will definitely use them again when the time comes to have a new bathroom or kitchen.

Simon and his team are truly amazing, from the initial first visit all the way to completion, they are polite, very clean, punctual, very knowledgeable, great communication throughout the whole project and completed my Bathroom renovation to an outstanding finish and to the finest detail...a really stunning job done by Simon and the team. I would massively recommend Essex Fitters and will definitely be using them again in the future 5 Star!!!

Fantastic total bathroom transformation from these guys. Great communication from beginning to end. Very considerate when they were doing the bathroom & very impressed with the time it took them to get the job done to a first class standard. Well done & thank you Essex Fitters!

The team were excellent, helped with design and materials, nothing is too much trouble. We had our en-suite updated, and they have done a fantastic job, would highly recommend. Thanks to Simon and his team for a fantastic job.

I feel absolutely gutted how the project turned out considering I worked my socks off for the last ten years to have my dream spoilt by simon and his team. Bad workmanship ,very unprofsesional and cant take criticism...it was all going soo well till I found problems please be careful.. with regards to your reply most of this is simply not true ,if any of your customers would like to visit my house im happy to show them round... With regards to the scratch on the floor as you say i have had 3 separate independent inspections which have all confirmed its a crack under the glaze which is down to poor workmanship, now that you are Trying to show proffesionalism after a bad review im really looking forward to hearing from you to discus what you will do to put this right... When we approached you about this and many other problems you simply wasnt intrested and tried to blame us... I have also had an inspection done by the TTA which is the tile association who govern and write the British standards In Tiling for the uk...and law. Uk Standards not met... 1. Showers not tanked...this came in right at the beginning of the year 2.Grout used in corners of bathroom walls..silicone only shoud be used to allow for expansion... 3 silicone outside of shower only not both as water can be trapped under glass cubicle..as seen in photo. 4 fitters responsibility to make sure all walls and floors are flat before tiling commences, not blame the substrate or house. 5 hardibacker or something as great should be used in all shower cubicles when tiled and not bare plaster or just plasterboard.. 6 leveling compound should not dry a white crystal colour ontop and you should not be able to write on it also no lumpy bits in the mix... This makes the compound weaker over time and any floor on top will fail over time ... Our report says All of the above can have severe problems later down the line and may need to be replaced at some point and we are also not covered by any insurance. So us not paying essex fitters their last 2000 was rightly done .. we should of held back alot more ... Please request from essex fitters before work commences a break down of full materials as this was refused to us through this horrible journey

Simon and his team have been working on our house for some years now, most recently today when Simon serviced our boiler and fixed the shower. As always it was great to see Simon again and suffice to say a great job was done.

Excellent company to work with, can’t recommend highly enough. Had them back to do second job and once again done an immaculate job

Simon and his team were great. They explained everything they were doing and kept us upto date as the bathroom progressed. The quality of the work is excellent and also ensure no mess is left behind. I would use Essex Fitters again for any work we need in the future.

If you want your dream bathroom brought to life, then you need to call these guys, they are truly incredible! We can’t thank Essex Fitters enough! Our bathroom was a never ending nightmare but Simon and his team completely transformed it into a beautiful, luxury spa like space. They were super friendly, professional and went above and beyond at every single stage (even with the never ending surprises this Pandoras box kept throwing out). We are so grateful for all their hard work and honestly couldn’t be happier. The results speak for themselves. HIGHLY recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Timely and quality works without any type of hassles for us. He completed the job professionally. We were so pleased that decided we shall engage Essex fitters for anything we modify or upgrade in our house.

Essex Fitters have completely transformed my en-suite, and I’m absolutely delighted. It’s not just beautiful, it’s thoughtfully designed, immaculately installed, and finished with genuine care. Simon’s expertise was evident from the start. He measured with precision, offered smart design tweaks, and suggested thoughtful changes that only a seasoned professional would think of. His attention to detail and pride in his work made the whole experience feel bespoke. The quality of the shower and toilet bring a whole new meaning to “wash and blow dry”—it’s that good. And the house was left spotless after the install, which speaks volumes about their respect for your home. Highly recommended for anyone who wants craftsmanship, professionalism, and a touch of brilliance.

We have employed Simon and his team for multiple jobs, from a simple bathroom refurb to a 2 storey extension, across several properties that us and our family own. I would have zero hesitation in recommending Simon and the team, fantastic results and very easy to deal with.

A first class, stress free experience with Essex Fitters. Bathroom refit completed quickly and with no fuss. The guys all just got on with what needed doing and I didn’t have to project manage anything. Very pleased with their work. All polite and considerate workers and left the house clean and tidy after each day. Would 100% recommend them and will definitely be using them again! Thanks Simon and team. The Carrolls ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 20-10-2025 Edit: after 6 months of the bathroom being in place we still love it as much as we did when it was first done. It’s perfect and we can’t wait to work with Essex fitters again in the future.

Such great people and workmen. They were reliable, professional and tidied up so well everyday. Brilliant service and we would have no hesitation in recommending them and we will be using them for our next project, project kitchen! Thanks again Simon we appreciate everything you and the boys did

Simon and his team are absolutely excellent. I am up front and honest in advising that Simon is connected family to me but he has brilliantly completed 2 bathrooms and a kitchen for me which I couldn’t be more pleased with. Additionally I have seen several other amazing projects including extensions, bathrooms, garage conversions etc. You’d do well to put your trust in Simon if you want a quality finish.

I would HIGHLY recommend Simon and his team at Essex Fitters. We’ve used them over the last 4/5 year to replace our bathrooms, do a garage conversion and a wonderful kitchen/diner transformation. 4 years on I still walk into my kitchen and LOVE it. A hardworking, friendly bunch of lads

Highly recommend Essex Fitters! They transformed our garage into a fabulous summer room with bifold doors opening up onto the garden. Simon made the process so easy and hassle free. Simon and his team were friendly efficient, reliable and really did do a great job! Thank you !

Simon and team completed a refit of our main bathroom, en-suite and cloakroom. From start to finish the whole thing was professional and first class. Simon’s expertise and vision made sure we made the right decisions with design and products. I can honestly say I would not use anyone else for future work, as I know I would just end up being disappointed!. Thank you Simon and team at Essex Fitters 👍

Simon and his team did a great job, from design, helping us choose tiles/accessories through to implementation which was done to an extremely high standard. The work was completed in good time and our main bathroom looks great. I would also say please ignore any vexatious reviews, which in my opinion does not reflect Essex Fitters' professionalism and high standards.

Simon and his team were exemplary! He gave me solid advice and support throughout our project! Dealing with something like a kitchen or bathroom or any extension requires someone that knows what they’re doing! What they’re talking and explains it in a way that is totally understandable to someone who doesn’t! You’d never feel silly for asking a question or needing a bit of extra knowledge. This is exactly what you can expect from Simon! The work Essex fitters team matches this. They’re are tidy and incredibly professional would highly recommend.

Simon and crew at Essex Fitters fitted our ensuite 6months ago. Fabulous job, looks amazing. We loved it so much we have just had him and team redo our main bathroom. As always the team were polite, friendly and professional and the result was fantastic. Highly recommend

We really couldn’t be happier with our beautiful new shower room ! Thank you Simon and your lovely team ! 🤩

Simon and his team were great, polite and on-time, they came in and finished the fit effeciently, showed me potential problems and solved them, thank you guys. Really appreciate your advice and recommendations, great guys, will be in contact for future projects!

Simon and his Essex Fitters team have carried out numerous projects for myself that have ranged from fixing a leaking tap to installing a new bathroom and most recently a new kitchen. All works have been carried out to an extremely high standard with the tradesmen clearly showing pride in their work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Simon and his team to anyone wanting work carried out as we are very pleased with the end result!

The Essex Fitters team transformed my downstairs toilet. People have even said it looks like a posh hotel loo. The team were punctual every day. They were polite and professional. I have recommended them to others. The quality of materials and workmanship was excellent. Simon was prompt with his quote and gave me start dates as soon as I said I wanted to proceed. Payment dates were set out in his quote. He kept me updated through the whole process.

Simon and the team provided a top class service, a wonderful job from planning to end result in 3 bathrooms for us. Personal touch, great workmanship and outstanding customer service. Have recommended to a friend who also had a wonderful experience. Would use again without hesitation! Thank you Simon and team

Simon and team came to fit a bathroom and we were so impressed they ended up doing two bathrooms, our kitchen, and a cinema room. We are delighted with the work and Simon and team were top notch. Would highly recommend

Top company, great workmanship and great team of guys, highly recommended

Despite offering a professional service, not able to respond professionally to a negative comment. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and any such comment should also be treated in a professional manner.

No company can beat Essex Fitters for quality , craftmanship. Absolutely create the most exquisite kitchens and bathrooms. I've had 2 bathrooms and a kitchen fitted by this team. Everyone who visits says "it's like a 5*" hotel and wants to take a shower or cook in my kitchen. Amazing team who are always prompt, polite, clean and respectful. Wouldn't go to any other company

Simon and the team at Essex Fitters are truly wonderful. Simon was very professional and helpful from the very beginning. We are delighted with the quality of the Claok Room's finish, and as a result, we already have an appointment in two months for the Ensuite renovation. We have a long-term relationship ahead of us, as Essex Fitters will be doing our kitchen and then our master bathroom – there's no reason to look for another contractor – Simon is stress-free, and the quality of workmanship is excellent.

I'm a bit late with my review, as I've been in the shower since last Friday... I now have my dream bathroom, thanks to Essex Fitters. Simon knew exactly what I wanted and provided it. Everything was sourced for me, all I had to do was choose. The guys had a challenge with my old-build first floor flat (concrete ceilings and floors) but stepped up and did what I thought was impossible. What a fabulous, friendly, skilled bunch! Nothing was too much trouble. My floors were protected and they cleaned up after themselves every step of the way. The quality of work is just fabulous. I was kept informed and involved throughout and the end result was more than I could imagine. I can't recommend Essex Fitters highly enough. 5 stars aren't enough for these guys..... I'm giving them all the stars in the sky!! Great job, Simon, Billy, Brodie and Ashley xx

After the best part of a decade of saving and planning I had extremely high expectations for my bathroom and kitchen renovation. Simon and his team delivered tenfold. I knew nothing of Essex fitters before finding them online and they were not the cheapest of the 3 quotes I sought, but you get what you pay for (and then some) here. From estimate to completion Simon went above and beyond. Although the bathroom and kitchen were supplied by myself, Simon gave so much of his time and knowledge ensuring I was sourcing only the best quality, suitability and priced within my budget items. His early advice on built in features such as bathroom niche and mirror lighting, worktop detailing and kitchen layout elevated my design next level. I really don’t think I would have received the same dedication and thoughtfulness from anywhere else. Work started exactly on schedule, with set daily work hours and the project took half the time I had imagined. Simon, Ashley, Brodie, Billy and Bobby worked tirelessly and nothing was too much trouble (I’m very fussy). Every day I was delighted to discover unexpected craftsmanship detailing that I think very few fitters would bother with - but ones that truly made the elegant heritage aesthetic. The team left the house clean each day, and I had no concerns leaving them with the keys when I was away. Essex Fitters stuck exactly to their initial quote, there were no financial surprises. The finished result is beyond my wildest dreams. Every time I walk in the extension I still can’t believe the kitchen and bathroom could ever look this luxurious and be so functional. It gets a lot of compliments and I’m so proud to call this my home. If you are after an experienced team providing a top quality luxury finish, efficient install, and confidence in the completed work, then Essex Fitters is my recommendation.

Had a small downstairs cloakroom which needed renovating, from initial visit & planning to completion the entire experience and workmanship has been superb. The guys have worked really quickly, as well as keeping everything tidy each day. The finish is very good with every little detail thought out. Thank you to the entire team, we would highly recommend & felt in safe hands throughout.

Very happy with our bathroom! The whole team was very helpful would definitely recommend

I can't recommend Essex Fitters enough.. amazing work, completely quickly. Simon is so knowledgeable and a lovely guy. thank you and the team!

Extremely professional team. Highly recommend. Bathroom turned out better than could of imagined. Thank you for your hard work and expertise.
