1st Master Drainage & Groundwork is praised for prompt, professional help with blocked and overflowing drains, often resolving urgent problems quickly and leaving the area clean. Customers value the polite team, clear explanations, honest advice and fair pricing, while more involved drainage and groundwork repairs are handled thoroughly and with care. Weekend and holiday call-outs, as well as helpful guidance over the phone, are also frequently appreciated.
My parents drive was sinking and crumbling in places. Dave and his team sorted out this awkward issue with a short excavation , diagnosis and quote for repair. It turned out to be an old disused cesspit . Significant excavation back fill and care required as it was very close to foul drain. This was completed with legalities being highlighted where appropriate. Awkward job, completed as agreed with thoroughness. Very experienced and dead straight, highly recommended.
Great team, polite, friendly and they explained everything they were doing so I knew exactly what I was paying for. Perfect service
Dave and the team came out to our home to clear an unblock. They managed to do this on a weekend and with no fuss. Highly recommend
Dave and team arrived at my house today, unblocked drainage and disinfected area. Polite and kind and competent. Would highly recommend to anyone in Portsmouth needing work done.

Dave is an absolute legend, came out on boxing Day and fixed the issue rapidly and did not charge loads of money which he could of done as it's Christmas. Highly recommend using him over the larger companies.
Great guy couldn't get out due to time of call, but talked me through a fix after sewage was coming up from drains and got fixed for me.
Fantastic communication, many years of experience and more than fair prices. If you’re looking for a company to unblock a drain, this is the company for you. I called 1st Master Drainage at 08:47 to unblock the drain at a rental property. By 13:30 the job was complete, pictures were sent across and the work area was spotless. David and his team are professional, trustworthy and thorough. I can’t recommend enough! :-)
Highly recommend came and unblocked our drains very prompt and at a reasonable price wouldn't go anywhere different
A very prompt service indeed. When Dave arrived he assessed my situation then explained costs, listed the details of my issue but most importantly it was good honext advice. Then he set about the work. There was no delay. He was polite and efficient completing the task within half an hour. With concerns about Covid 19 I can confirm that he kept social distancing rules and protocols. I would recommend First master again 100% - Thanks!
