We called Gary on a Saturday during Bank Holiday weekend. He offered offered free advice over the phone and was very patient - despite my panic with the situation. In the end we were able to troubleshoot the problem ourselves but it would not have been possible without Gary's free advice. We will definitely call Orrell Electrics again for any electrical help and would recommend to others.

Gary is a life saver. Literally. He came in replaced, repaired and made safe a previous electricians poor work. He showed me what he was going to do to make safe the other electricians “life endangering” work and did it with fully compliant materials. Gary is a good lad pleasant chatty, tidied up after himself, a thorough professional. I am very happy with his work. Thank you Gary. If only I’d have turned to you in the first place……..

Gary came out as an emergency call last night, my house alarm was going off and wouldn’t disable. He was quick and efficient in a stressful situation, after having one emergency electrician cancel on me after I waited 45 mins and a neighbour coming to shout at me for the alarm going off. I asked him to decommission the alarm which he did quickly and assured me the alarm would never go off again. Thank you!

Gary did a full rewire and was excellent. He listened to all our requirements, was extremely hardworking and solved various problems. Gary was very easy to get along with and made what could have been an extremely stressful experience go smoothly. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Orrell Electrics again.

Orrell electrics came highly recommended, did not disappoint, turned up on time, efficent and professional, job was well done, would certainly use again.

"too busy to be ringing people and arranging stuff". This is the response I get after agreeing to pay £100 to change a couple of plugs... Not worth the time and effort. All because I asked if they could ring one of my tenants before they get to the job. This is how they treat customers. Their reaponse: asked me to get a jigsaw puzzle and #GrowUp! #GreatCustomerService

This is the third time I’ve enlisted Gary’s services and I’ve no doubt I will do so again in the future, Responsive, friendly and upfront about charges, he does a great job and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Gary removed some electric storage heaters for me and installed some new sockets. He was on time and efficient and his price was reasonable, gary's a nice fella and good at his job i will use him in the future, thanks.

Previous technician from a different company fitted the light incorrectly so contacted Orrell Electrics who sorted it quickly straight away.

We had a serious issue with our mains not being earthed after recently moving in to a new house. Orrell Electrics responded within minutes of getting my email to advise that we are not safe, with steps to follow until he could come the day after. Brilliant service - very efficient and professional - cheers Gary!

Thanks to a cowboy builder, the electrics in my new kitchen were a dangerous mess and the rest of my house needed a re-wire. After such a bad experience that caused so much stress and anxiety, I was very nervous about being ripped off again. I found Gary through a search on Google and the first thing I noticed was his home address and phone number were published which is not something you're going to do if you're a cowboy. His website made it clear he was NICEIC approved and his reviews spoke for themselves. During his initial visit to give us a quote he went out of his way to talk us through the options available to get the job done, patiently answering any questions we had and providing us with advice and reassurance that he would get the job done and ensure our house was safe again. His price was extremely reasonable and I can honestly say that he is an absolute professional. I was so grateful that he managed to make the electrics safe in my kitchen without damaging the new units and the plasterer I hired commented on how neat the chasing was throughout the house and in his words "sparks usually just take a hammer to the walls but he's clearly made a lot of effort to minimise the damage". After completing the job on time, Gary immediately sent me my safety certificates and also sent me a report of his findings from the work that was previously carried out which I can use to take further action against the cowboy builder. I would hate anyone else to have to go through the bad experience I had so I would urge you to do your research before hiring anyone to do work in your house, especially if it's the gas or electrics as safety can be the difference between life or death. Gary has helped restore my faith in tradesmen and I can't thank him enough for his brilliant work. I wouldn't hire anyone else to do my electrics in future, even if that means waiting weeks or even months until he's free to do the job.

Fast and efficient service, would recommend to family and friends

Gary was very professional, guided us through the various options and worked to a high standard. We would definitely use him in future.

Quick reply to my Messages came next day on time. Great price, really happy

Great service from a guy who knows what he's doing and gets on with it, not talking on his mobile phone as we have found with a few tradespeople.. to are cost!

Gary was brilliant . He always listens to what you want and tries his very best to do it . He has never let me down on any of the jobs he has done for me , seven in total now , and he always sticks to his quotes . Unlike some tradesmen he never presents problems to you, he just tells you what's needed to be done and gets on with it . Highly recommended . Alan C

Called Orrell Electrics out of hours couple of days ago due to the worrying sound coming from my circuit box. Read the reviews and wanted an NICEIC Electrician, called up and within 20minutes a knowledgeable Electrician was at the door and had the issue fixed rather than just made safe within 30minutes. Excellent service and will use again for anything electrical.

Responded to my emails very quickly, the work done is great. Will use again when needed.

Gary has been great from start to finish; this was a difficult, messy rewire, and it has been done to the highest standard; he has fitted in with my time scale and also helped with other issues during the job. I would highly recommend Gary and will certainly use Orrell Electrics in the future.

Gary from Orrell Electrics is the guy you want doing your Electrical Work. Extremely knowledgable, Professional & Courteous. He Identified bad practice & showed me before carrying out remedial work. His standard of work is second to none, nothing was too much trouble. Gary goes the extra mile at no additional cost. I have no hesitation in recommending him. First class service from Orrel Electrics. Thank you!

Gary arrived on time, and proceeded to fix all the electrics that we thought had been fitted correctly over the years. Everything done correctly, Bathroom lights , downlights extractor fan light, and all our messy wiring in a very dusty, compact loft. (sorry about that). The difference in his quality of work compared to previous installations was immense. Only one electrician going to carry work out in this house and thats Gary from Orrell Electrics.

Gary attended my In-laws today 30mins after phoning. Very satified would highly recommend. Polite, and thoughtful.Thankyou

Gary is fantastic and genuinely helpful. Came out a day after calling and stayed hours longer than planned to complete the job but charged me the original quote. Talked me through the whole process and left things tidy. I'll be using his services again in the future - if every tradesman was a Gary there'd be no problems!

Gary came around and sorted my electrics over the new year. Very professional job and reasonably priced, highly recommend

We had a problem with our house Electrics; the fuses wouldn't reset in the fusebox. Orrell Electrics responded to my call within 1 hour; the electrician found the fault almost immediately. He had parts on his van which enabled him to do the repair straight away. We felt that the cost was very reasonable. We highly recommend this company. Vinnie Mac.Liverpool. Gary had done several bits of work for us over the last couple of years and has always been professional, honest and efficient. He has just sorted out yet another problem for us with minimal fuss. Highly recommend him for any job big or small.

Gary did a very quick turnaround for a complete rewire that came up unexpectedly. He was professional and explained everything. Extra wishes were granted swiftly and without charging more than would be expected for the extra work involved. Will get him to work for us again.

Just wanted to say a BIG thanks to Orrell Electrics. As a landlord with a portfolio of properties it is essential that I get jobs carried out quickly and to a high standard. Orrell Electrics have carried out numerous jobs on our properties from full rewires to light fittings and I am totally grateful and satisfied for every job they have done. They are clean, reliable and will only use them in my properties in the future.

He arrived on time every morning. A very reliable and hard working electrician who we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. We will definitely use him again when we need to. Carol and Steve Wordley

May I take this opportunity to thank Gary for the care and consideration taken while carrying out the full re-wire of our home. Given the amount of work undertaken, the house was left each evening in a far tidier state than expected with minimal redecoration required after the job was completed. Each time adjustments and last minute changes were requested by us, his response was always accommodating, while always offering helpful advice. The job was completed in the agreed time-frame and to an excellent standard. We would happily recommend Orrell Electrics to anyone thinking of having electrical work done and will not hesitate to use you again.

We contacted Gary after the purchase of our new house regarding the electrical issues, he was able to advise us on the best way forward and gave us all of the options. We eventually had the house fully rewired which was carried out by Orrell Electrics in a very professional manner. We would fully recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, reliable tradesman.

Arrived on time, didn't charge too much (in fact it was cheap), brilliant job and completed in good time. Gary went over and above what I expected. I would definitely recommend Orrell Electrics. Such a nice fella too.

I contacted Gary regarding the assessment and fixing of electrics in my flat. Although my family live in Liverpool it is not possible for myself to be in Liverpool on a regular basis. This was not a problem when dealing with Gary. His communication was wonderful, I either phoned or emailed him. Phone calls were answered/replied to in a short amount of time, email's were answered within an hour or so. He was able to fully explain all the work he was due to complete, how he planned to do it and why it was required - all without being confusing or patronising. I received, by email, clear and comprehensive copies of the assessments done and invoices due. When I returned home this weekend to check the work I found it to be of a high standard with all jobs completed. Gary had informed me that they had cleaned up after themselves and I can verify this, there was not one bit of mess left from them to note. Regarding the price, I found it to be very reasonable. I would happily use Gary again if I required an electrician and if anyone else is wanting an honest electrician then I would recommend that you use Gary.

Very impressed, we've tried a few Electricians in Liverpool but Gary was by far the most professional and helpful. We have no idea about electrics and Gary helped to first correct the fault and the lose of power and explain how to use our control board and what to check if we have any problems in future. Gary also arrived within an hour of putting our advert online.

Gary came out within the hour and fixed my faulty lights, excellent service and would recommned
