GW Power Solutions

Great experience with GW Power solutions- very responsive on messaging, good communication, arrived on time, completed work efficiently and tidily. Competitive pricing. Also a lovely guy, was really friendly and sweet towards my toddler who was around too. Thank you!

George installed a new chores EV charger at the end of my garden. I chose an independent electrician as the route from my house was quite convoluted and involved some trench digging. George helped to arrange this with a landscaping contractor. George communicated well and executed a fantastic install. Very neat, and competitively price. George explained what he was doing during the process. I can recommend.🙂

Fantastic service. Explained exactly what he was doing and why. Took the time to make friends with our rescue dog. Will be using for all future work and recommend whole heartedly.

Full electrical panel replacement - great service, very professional job, new wiring significantly tidier and panel much better. Very friendly and chatted through the process the entire time so I learned a lot. Before and after pictures included.

George has recently completed a full rewire of our house. The job was completed punctually and we were kept updated throughout the process. The standard of finish is outstanding, and we would highly recommend George for any electrical needs!

AVOID if you have cream k render walls and pride in your home as the finish is shocking. SO WHY DIDNT YOU USE SOME OF THE RENDER TO TIDY THE FINISH, AND STILL NOT EXPLAINED WHY YOU PLACED IT AWAY FROM THE ORIGINAL HOLES, AND YOU SHOULD HAVE USED CLEAR SEALANT - black sealant is not standard and it makes a mess. I’ve had to request someone else to inspect the work done by GW power solutions when fitting my new Ohme EV charger, and they agree the work is shockingly unprofessional. He did not fit the consumer unit over the holes where my previous charger was as per my request.he used strange hose pipe type conduit to hide the black cables despite the same conduit that previous professionals have used when fitting my solar panels, being available in Screwfix. And worst of all, he used black silicone on a cream wall and has left it all over my wall and electric meter box, it’s a mess, plug in stations advise they use clear silicone and a wet wipe so it is not visible, I could have done a better job myself. I’m appalled and pursing this with Ohme to try and fix the poor job. He even posted the poor work on his instagram page so you can see for yourself how bad it is.i also do not trust anyone on trust a trader/check a trader, poor workmanship, if they would decen5 they wouldn’t need to advertise themselves. I don’t care for excuses for a terrible job. He provided no explanation on how to set up the Ohme app either. I’ve also contacted EV made easy but had no response from them either. Irony is he has a cream walled house and said he would not expect anything less than a professional finish on his home - would you be happy with this on your home?!!!

George was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire job. His communication was excellent from start to finish, keeping us informed every step of the way. He worked tirelessly all day without stopping and showed great dedication to getting the work completed to a high standard. George also went above and beyond by ensuring that all the relevant EV charger providers and parties were contacted to obtain the necessary permissions before proceeding. His attention to detail, work ethic, and professionalism were outstanding. I would highly recommend George and would happily use his services again.

Highly recommend this electrician in Bristol. We needed urgent electrical work completed on our home and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Professional, reliable and turned up on time. They carried out a full electrical installation, fault finding and consumer unit upgrade to a very high standard. Great communication, fair pricing and quality workmanship throughout.

I have used George on a number of occasions for various different jobs and he is very good at what he does. A good communicator, works tidily and most importantly it all works well when he has been. I would recommend.

George impressed us with his friendly and professional manner throughout the entire visit. He arrived promptly, took the time to thoroughly explain the electrical work he would be doing, and ensured everything was completed to an excellent standard. His attention to detail was evident in the neat and tidy finish, and he made sure to test all installations before leaving to guarantee everything was working perfectly. We appreciated how George cleaned up afterwards, leaving the space spotless, and his willingness to answer any questions demonstrated his commitment to customer satisfaction.

We had a few jobs done on two occasions. Both times George was excellent. On time, careful, tidy, and true to the agreed price. I'd highly recommend!

Having posted my requirment for an electrical job on Checkatrade, George contacted me. We exchanged information and he came around the following morning. He was very punctual and effcient and came on time. Having looked at the work he priced the work which was very resonable. The work was completed to high standards and the work area was left clean and tidy. Well skilled. A definite recommendation and will use him again for a forseeable future.

We recently used GW Power Solutions for an urgent electrical inspection and were incredibly impressed with their professionalism. The engineer, George, was exceptionally thorough, taking the time to explain his findings clearly and ensuring the site was safe before leaving. My wife noted how polite and respectful he was throughout the visit. It is rare to find such high standards of technical expertise combined with great customer service. Highly recommended for anyone needing a detailed and honest electrical audit.

I had work carried out by this company and was extremely pleased. The electrician did a great job and was reliable and communicated well. I had ceiling lights fixed that wasn't working and then new lights fitted. I would most definitely recommend this company and have already recommended them on to friends and family and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

George helped us out recently to replace some dated and non compliant bathroom spotlights. He was reliable, tidy, and fair on price. Good communications and easy to get hold of. Recommend.

George helped us out with some work and EICR needed at our property in Bristol (Whitehall). He was really good at keeping us informed of progress and taking photos for clarity. I was impressed and appreciated his willingness to explain, show me via photos and justify his decisions. Makes a big difference! Also just a nice guy to deal with over the phone and generally, so would recommend to anyone

We contacted GW power solutions via checkatrade app to add power to our garage which is 20m away from our house, adding sockets and lights and future proof it for a potential EV charger installation. George was very quick to reply. He provided great explanations and justifications for the components picked and chose the best non invasive routing from the house control panel to the garage. He was also able to advise on how to get and record agreement from neighbours. George was able to come after a week and do the whole job in a day, arriving on time and installing everything very neatly. The final cost was the same as the initial quote which was a very good value for all the components, labour and certifications. We are very pleased and won’t hesitate to contact him again in the future.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and top tier professionallism. Can't recommend GW Power solutions enough.

Great guy always very helpful and knows his stuff. If you want a job done right your in the right place. Thanks for all your help and hope to use this company more in the future.

George was great on our job. We were let down last minute by an unreliable electrician, who had already started the work, took part payment and left us. George communicated well throughout the process, was reliable and did our kitchen wiring and board change with no issue and to a high standard. Its difficult to find reliable tradesman lately but ill use George again for sure.

George was very professional from start to finish! He was quick to quote and then carry out the work. We will continue to use him and would highly recommend to others.

George recently carried out a conversion for me. His work ethic is great as are his qualifications and he goes above and beyond to finish the job, despite me changing things around a lot ! I would definitely recommend him.

I honestly can’t recommend this electrician enough. From start to finish, he was absolutely brilliant. The rewire was a big job, but he made the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free. He kept me informed at every stage, explaining what was happening and what to expect next, which made a huge difference. Nothing ever felt rushed or unclear — he really took the time to make sure I understood everything. He was professional, reliable, and clearly takes real pride in his work. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing a proper job and looking after his customers. Top bloke and top-quality work — 5/5 without a doubt.

Thoroughly dependable and super efficient. GW Power helped us deliver a large electrical repair program for a Nationwide client which in turn has secured our contract for another 2 years! We will definitely be seeking their services in the future.

Before having GW Power Solutions accepting the job, I had many electricians coming over to look around for understanding the job that was supposed to be done, giving me rough ideas of what they thought it should be done even if some seemed confused and unsure themselves. But with GW Power Solutions I only spoke by phone and whatsapp and the electrician understood so easily what should be done, not even having to come on site to have a look. This made me trust his experience and I’m very happy I did, as the job is done now and gave me peace of mind.

I recently had my entire house rewired by GW Power Solutions , and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final inspection, they were professional, punctual, and incredibly thorough.
