Alan Davies Electrical

I recently hired Alan for some electrical work at my property, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, he delivered great value for money while providing excellent quality work. Alan is incredibly professional and works to the highest standards — everything was done neatly, safely, and exactly as discussed. He explained the process clearly, used top-quality materials, and left the site spotless. I fully recommend Alan and will always use his services for any future electrical needs. If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled electrician who genuinely cares about doing the job right, look no further!

Alan did a fantastic job in our home. He started by carrying out an EICR check, in which he found that we had a lot of work needing done to ensure our home was safe. Alan was very thorough as he did a further investigation in our kitchen to ensure he gathered all information needed to carry out the job. Alan was transparent in making us aware of what needed to be done, and we really appreciated the care he took in ensuring our belongings were not damaged, dust was kept to a minimum, and floorboards were labelled to make it easier for us afterwards. As well as the safety changes, Alan also carried out changes that I wanted to include myself such as added sockets etc. These were all completed to a high standard. Communication was excellent through email and payment was made clear through invoices at each stage of works. Highly recommend!

From EICR check in our newly acquired home through to correcting of our tired (and sometimes risky) electrical systems to all levels of securing our safety and the functionality of existing and new appliances and fittings, Alan has be prompt informative, friendly and engaging and entirely professional. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found him and it's a pleasure to recommend him highly to others. Many thanks. Dave and Sheila

We called Alan on Thursday and he came on Friday which was very short notice. We had a issue with the electrics tripping out. He tested the consumer unit first, then started a process of elimination. He was very methodical, he even went into a very small loft area, and found issues, and rectified them. He was here for three hours and his rates were very good. We would definitely recommend Alan Davies Electrical. He did a fantastic job for us, and can't thank him enough. Hope you have a happy Christmas. Thanks Alan.

Alan is amazing! He's sorted various problems, is very knowledgeable and even could sort things quite short notice! I would highly recommend!

Was quick to come and give us a quote when others on Rated People let me down. Did fantastic work at a very reasonable price. Will be my first choice for my next job.

Had a problem with an electrical fault causing my electric tripping. He came out on time and identified and resolved the problem. Beforehand he told me the price and even though he was here slightly longer than planned he stuck to the price. Will definitely be using him again.

Would recommend Alan Davies for electrical work. Excellent communication, always prompt and flexible. Alan completed the electrical work during a renovation of our kitchen, utility & living rooms. The work was completed to our requirements, the rooms were kept clean and quality of work was excellent. Would use Alan’s services again.

Alan carried out a full rewire of a house I have been renovating, he was by far the most reliable and professional tradesman involved in the project. At no point did I have to chase for work to be completed, each time I checked in it was clear progress was being made & as I was not in the local area at the time this was greatly appreciated. The completed work was finished to a great standard, he provided advice when planning on what would be the best approach to things such as the different options for fans in the bathroom. Alan even went the extra mile of filling in channels in plasterwork. Two lights were left until other work had been completed in the house and Alan returned months after he had finished the main bulk of the work and had been paid to finish these final touches. I’d definitely recommend Alan!

Very professional

Couldnt do enough for you highly recommended and thank you

Alan has done an absolutely fantastic job on our house. He is very thorough and explains everything well. Alan quoted us a very competitive price, he worked very hard and finished on time. He made sure everything was clean and tidy afterwards and made good any walls, coving etc he needed to. I would highly recommend him!

Complete rewiring of semi detached house. Turned up when promised and completed on time. Was thorough in determining work required and plans drawn up for my confirmation. Can thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely the best electrician I have ever met and at over 65 I have met a few. He said he was competitively priced and he jolly well was and so much more too. He has a gentle sense of humour that made everything pleasant...he even helped carry some stuff to my car bless him. I needed to feel safe and Alan is just an all round good person that filled that need. I felt comfortable from the first meeting. He delivered everything he promised and on time. He took the time to show me what was wrong (and there was a lot) and the best methods and ideas for solutions identifying the best options in terms of cost. He let me choose the items I wanted but having given me the best information I purchased everything right first time and to my taste. I cannot tell you how impressed I am. He left everything clean and tidy and took care of my things. I now have a safe home and everything is certificated and identified. Pleased? Oh way way more than that - Ecstatic that I now live in a safe home. I cant recommend him enough.

Excellent service came out really quickly,as I had been let down by another company. Very polite and problem was soon sorted out no nasty shocks payment wise as you are told the rates upfront. Would highly recommend very reliable and quick arrival and very polite and friendly. Lisa Scrimshaw.
