Edge Electrical Solutions

I recently bought an EV and spent a couple of weeks Trying to sort a charging point through my electricity supplier. But I ended up speaking to people across the country rather than someone local. So I did a basic search and found several providers but chose to go with.Edge Ekectrucal and I’m glad I did Very competitive pricing, really tidy installation and Matt was great both in terms of his communication and his friendly and professional manner. We have a reactive dog that tends to bark at everyone but she very quickly accepted him into our home which speaks volumes for how Matt comes across.

EXCELLENT SERVICE from.the initial contact ,the communication was excellent the install of our Ohme pro was better than excellent ,Matthew looked for every opertunaty to make sure the wiring on view was kept to a minimum, spent alot of time in boiling hot loft in extreme heat . The overall finish was fantastic and everything was cleaned no mess left at all . A Excellent job from start to finish . Thank you

Couldn’t fault the service I received. Managed to get me booked in on very short notice and very pleased with the job that was done. Would highly recommend.

Great Service. Very helpful setting up the var charger. Very neat job fitting wires round my conservatory.

Matt at Edge Electrical Solutions was excellent from start to finish. He was very transparent and took the time to walk me through exactly what he was going to do. I had some groundworks involved in the install that many wouldn’t take on, but he was more than happy to handle it, which really stood out. Pricing was very fair, and the overall service was spot on. I’ve already recommended him to my neighbours.

Highly recommend. Great communication, great service and a lovely bloke too. thanks

Amazing service from Matt, so helpful and insightful and hid all the cables around the side of the house so effectively- Brilliant job! I cannot recommend him enough!!!!!

Matthew was fantastic today. One of the best trade experiences I've had. He was prompt, very friendly and easy to work with, patient, and took his time to figure out the best route for an EV charger cable to route through a challenging environment. He performed some very difficult drill angles and routes with ease and the whole cable is almost entirely hidden and very tidy. He cleaned up well, and went out of his way to do the best job possible despite not having access to where he needed to for half the day! I'd hire him again without hesitation. Thanks Matt!

Matt is very professional and talks you through all the steps of getting an EV charger fitted. If I hadn't spoke to him I think I would have ended up with the wrong one, a very clean professional job. I highly recommend him.

Matt was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. Fitted me in due to a cancellation so I only waited a few days for the install. The installation is perfect. Not a single visible wire so looks like the wall charger was always there (new build). Top workmanship and a clear pride in his work, great communication and always helpful. First ever install but will 100% use him again when we move and need another one.

Matt installed an EV charger for me. The installation was seamless and stress free. He completed the job quickly and efficiently. Once the install was completed he went through all aspects with me. I thoroughly recommend EDGE Solutions from start to finish.

Matt came over today to install my Vchrgd charger. What should have been a straight forward install became quite a tricky one due to the construction of my walls. Despite having to work a bit longer to finish the job, there were no complaints from Matt, and he did a cracking job with the installation.

Amazing comms and great work from start to finish. Could not be happier with the service and products.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. From the very first enquiry through to the completed installation, the service was absolutely first class. Communication throughout was excellent – they were responsive, friendly, and took the time to explain everything clearly during the quotation and booking process, giving me complete confidence before any work even began. Matt carried out the installation to an exceptionally high standard. He arrived on time, was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. It was clear he takes real pride in his work, and the finished installation is neat, tidy, and completed with great attention to detail. It's refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely cares about customer service and workmanship. Matt was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both him and the company to anyone looking for an EV charger installation. 100% recommended – five stars all the way!

I saw Matt’s advert on FB and got in touch. He was quick to reply, listened to what sort of charger I wanted and came to fit it within a couple of weeks. He is charming and just got on with the job- all done within a couple of hours and kept in touch to ensure all was working as it should. It was refreshing to meet someone who was honest and professional.

Matthew was amazing, got the quote done quickly and the price was very competitive He has done a great installation and it looks really tidy! Would highly recommend

If you’re looking for a reliable, thoroughly professional and talented electrician, look no further, you’ve found your man. Matt supplied and successfully fitted an Ohme EV charger to my home, an installation Octopus had turned down as being too complicated. He arrived at 8am as promised, got to work immediately and finished the job by 2pm, all without taking a break. A rare breed these days! Thanks Matt.

Matt is exception! Great advice, great price! I wasn’t ready to proceed as waiting with EV on order - no problem just got back in touch and previous quote honoured. He even discounted a little as easy job and did use all the cable he’d allowed for! Great experience all round - definitely recommend 👍

Excellent service from Matt installing an ev charger. Matt made sure every part of the job was delivered to a high standard, particularly the cable routing from the house to, and through, the garage. He took time to hide the cabling under slabs and into the garage, leaving everything neat and tidy. Matt was always responsive and delivered great aftercare. I couldn’t recommend him too highly.

Had my Ohme charger fitted today. A very competitive quote, with a fully detailed work schedule. He arrived on time, finished a very neat installation, and ensured everything worked, including the app on our phones. Highly recommend him.

I found edge electrical from a Facebook video. Was pretty local to me so I reached out. I thought his social media ad was spot on, which gave me confidence. Matt was excellent at communicating with me, whenever I messaged he messaged back almost straight away. I had an OhME home pro charger and pedestal installed. He arrived in good time for the agreed work to commence. His work was of a high standard, quick but extremley competent. We are more than impressed with the work carried out and the price quoted (also the cheapest quote i had by several 100 £). I'd have no problems with going back to Edge Electrical for any future work and would highly reccomend.

Matt did an excellent job with the electrical work in my garden. From start to finish, he was professional, reliable, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and completed everything to a very high standard. Would highly recommend 👌

"I recently had Matt from Edge Electrical Bristol install my EV charger at my flat in Torquay, Devon, and I couldn't be happier! His work was not only done efficiently but also with great attention to detail, making the installation both functional and decorative. Matt is truly the best in the business, and his expertise shines through in the amazing work he does. Highly recommend!"

Matt did a fantastic job installing our EV charger. The installation was exceptionally clean and tidy, and he made sure all the cabling matched seamlessly with the existing setup around the house. Really impressed with the quality of the work.

Great service from Fast Install with my EV charger installation. Matthew was professional, friendly, and made the whole process straightforward. He helped me with all the paperwork I needed and kept me informed throughout. The installation was quick, tidy, and completed to a high standard. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend.”

Perfect install and great value. Very good communication from beginning to end and followed through on all commitments. Highly recommended, thank you.

Great job, really tidy and professional, would definitely use again

Matt is amazing. I’m really happy with my EV charger installation. Punctual, kept me updated all the time and went out his way and offered an earlier date. Price is more than reasonable. Recommend highly!

EV Charger installation. Simply excellent. From the very first contact Matt was incredibly helpful and the quote was competitive. Communication pre and on the day was superb and although this was not the most straightforward of jobs I am very pleased with the result. Matt was very tidy, briefed me on everything and in summary did a superb job. If you need an EV charger then you should have no worries using Matt.

We contacted three electrical companies to supply and fit a hyper volt EV charger. One didn't reply, the second company just gave us a quote for their time and I was to buy the goods and they would fit the unit. Matt from Edge Electrical Solutions, Bristol Electric contacted me straight away, asked for photos of our consumer unit and any other electrical units ie solar panels. He contacted me in the evening of the same day to confirm that he would contact the national grid for the installation of the EV charger and a building certificate, which I have received. We arranged a date and time for the work to be carried out on our property. He arrived on time and carried out a first class job. He is very reliable, knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend Matt and his company.

Very quick and competent work, 100% recommend to anyone in the Bristol area and we look forward to hopefully doing more work in the future!

Matt was great! Communicative, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and did the job (sorting out faulty sockets) at a good price. Would definitely recommend him!

Dealing with Matt was a joy. He responded to all my requests for info about the ev charger, and he gave me a good price. Today he turned up on time and installed the ev with no issues at all. Thoroughly recommended.

I needed an EV charger installing, but our installation was not straightforward as our driveway and garage are at the bottom of the garden and our electric meter is inside a conservatory that already contained the electrical boxes for our solar panels and on one side units and wiring and pipework with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. The 'big boys' in this field looked at my submitted photos and videos and all came up with solutions that were simply impractical and disruptive requiring me to get people in to dig up our garden and concrete pathways, and even the concrete floor of the conservatory before they would do the installation. NONE would come out and do an in person survey. Matt however, having seen my photos, came out, surveyed the job in person. The only one out of six companies contacted who would! He came up with a very elegant solution that did not involve any trenches being dug. Looked extremely tidy inside the conservatory and outside is frankly a work of art. The black armoured cable runs along a wall around the garden, hidden behind water butts and mature foliage.(sorry about the thornier plants) It then has to go under a path made of paving slabs. Rather than risk lifting and possibly cracking a well cemented in slab. Matt and his colleague drilled a tunnel under it. The cable was then taken through a wall into the garage where a modern uprated consumer unit was fitted supplying the garage and the EV charger, which is mounted on the outside wall of the garage. It is shaded from direct sun so the screen is easy to read, but within easy reach of the car on the driveway which is in full sun. I was taken through the operation of the charger using the Ohme Home Pro App. Everything was tidied up and vacuumed. It took them both a full day and I am really pleased with the result. My Wife, who is in charge of the garden, is thrilled. Highly recommended.

From first contact with Matt at Edge Electrical Solutions to completing the job it was an A* service. Couldn’t fault his communication, work or price for installing our EV charger. Extremely efficient and reliable. I would definitely be a returning customer, I can highly recommend him. It’s been a great experience thank you Matt.

Had an EV home charger fitted today, had to wire from the front of house to the rear garage. (big job) The workmanship is superb, and Matt is an absolute gentleman nothing to much trouble for him and his team. Highly recommended

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Outstanding Service from Edge Electrical Solutions I couldn’t be happier with the service from Edge Electrical Solutions. While other companies were telling me I’d have to wait up to 8 weeks just for a survey, Matt sent me a quote straight away and had everything booked in without any hassle. Only a week later, my EV charger was fully installed and ready to use. The work was done professionally, quickly, and to a really high standard. Highly recommended – fantastic service and great communication throughout.

Fitted a myenergi V2 electric car charger for me within a week of enquiring. Neat job. Cheers

EV Charger Install Matthew arrived bang on time, and after initial discussion on placement, cable runs etc. he just cracked on and got the job done. Very tidy worker, nice tidy job, tucked the cable up under window sill so minimal visual impact, all in all 100% happy with all aspects of the job from quote to installation. Would happily recommend and use again

Absolutely brilliant service from Matt! He arranged the installation of my EV charger very quickly after I'd been let down elsewhere. He encountered several unexpected challenges due to the complicated layout of my property but overcame them. He helped me choose the appropriate charger and the work done looks very tidy. Justin came to do the work. He was extremely helpful and thorough, explaining and answering any questions I had in a way I could understand. His respect for my home was exemplary. Overall 5 stars is the minimum rating I could give such a well organised company. Thanks to Matt and his team.

Matt and his team completed electrical work in my kitchen. Super professional and efficient service and really pleased with the end result. Highly Recommended

Excellent service by Matt. Good communication throughout the process. Was happy to accommodate a last minute change of location for the charger, which made the job a lot bigger than he'd originally planned for. The job was done to an excellent standard and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who requires an electrician.

I recently had Matt from Edge Electrical install a home EV charger for me, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From the start, his communication was excellent — clear, prompt, and straightforward. He gave a very fair price with no messing around, which I really appreciated. Matt is a genuine, no-nonsense guy who clearly knows what he’s doing. He got the job done quickly and to a high standard, leaving everything neat and working perfectly. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. I’m very happy with the installation and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matt at Edge Electrical to anyone looking for electrical work, especially EV charger installations.

Contacted Matt in relation to havingvEV charger fitted. The whole process was seamless, he turned up when he said he would. The job took a tad longer than he originally quoted. However, he kept to the original quote. He was very tidy, a pleasure to deal with.

He turned up dead on time on the day of the installation and did a lovely clean and neat job. You won’t be disappointed- he offers a 5 year guarantee on the installation!

Consistently delivers high-quality work with great attention to detail". Very pleased with Edge Electrical.

Recently Matt at Edge Electrical Solutions came to replace a porch light and resolve a problem with the dining room lights. All resolved professionally. He is very patient, willing, helpful and good customer service. He is resourceful and I have been very pleased with this job and others he has sorted out over the years. Matt right from first contact was very helpful, I never had had a charge pod fitted before so he told me what he needed to know and I sent him pictures on WhatsApp. From there he was able to Quote a very reasonable price compared to what the big energy companies were asking. He arrived nice and early and managed to get it all fitted in just over 3 hours. He guided me through downloading the app and showing me how to use it in conjunction with the charger. All in all a good job done and tidy cable work. Would definitely recommend.

Superb service from Matt, prompt and took great care in installing the EV charger, i would not hesitate to recommend him and I will certainly use him again.

Excellent job done, with the problem full delt with.

An EV Charger fitted at a competitive price. Matt was professional and had a pleasant manner. The charger looks good and works well. Very happy to recommend.

Excellent and friendly service from Matt. Matt arrived promptly after needing some emergency works undertaken at my house. Absolutely recommend. Thank you.

Matt and his boys went to extraordinary lengths to help us out and get our house functioning again. We woke up one morning and all our electrics were out- over the next two days they worked incredibly hard to get everything back up and running for our young family. Without their care, attention to detail, good-humour and patience we'd have been in a real pickle. They were incredibly fair with their pricing and we they're now our first port of call for any electrical jobs.

Matt came out for an emergency call ou5 and was able to solve our issue, and he said he would come back 24 hours later to check it. A new separate issue came up before the 24 hours came up and Matt returned to the property to resolve that one, and was able to do it without charging an additional call out rate. He also replaced a socket, and all in all I was very happy with the price for everything.

We used Edge electrical solutions. For installation of our electric car charging point. Matt did a super job turned up to quote on time and when arranged. Did the job to a very high standard. Would highly recommend. Thank you for your help, Matt.

Good job from Matthew Wallis

We recently had an EV charger installed by Matt, and from the very beginning his communication and patience over WhatsApp were outstanding. He talked us through all the options and provided a very competitive quote. Not only was Matt’s price the lowest by far, but the quality of his work was exceptional. After completing the installation, he took the time to show my partner exactly how to plug in and charge the vehicle, making sure everything was working perfectly—especially helpful as this is our first EV. I would highly recommend Matt and Edge Electrical Solutions to anyone in the future.
