Penny Repairs

Fantastic service — the issue was resolved within 10 minutes. Professional, polite, and incredibly efficient. Highly recommended

They were excellent - came when they said they would, fixed the door efficiently, were polite and courteous throughout, and charged what they said they would, which was very reasonable.

Came for what I thought was a squeaky problem with a door hinge, found it wasn't and fixed it with out charge. Advised if it came back contactbthem. So honest and helpful. Third time I have used them and they proced again to be very very good.

Excellent experience from start to finish with Penny Repairs - from the communication prior to Mike's visit to repair our window, everything was done so efficiently. Hard to find a more efficient and friendly company. Very grateful to Mike for finding a solution so quickly to fix our Velux which kept us warm over Christmas. Will happily use them again if needed and would thoroughly recommend them.

Skilled workers...

Mike and his team did a great job of replacing a blown patio door double glazing pane and renewing the sealing around the doors. I'd highly recommend them. And Arlo the dachshund was super cute!

Penny repairs came out first thing the following morning when I contacted them. Excellent service, helpful and very friendly

Am very happy with the service I received from Penny Repairs, from the measuring up to installing a new window. The 2 men who did the work were friendly & also made sure they tidied up before they left. Thank you 😊

Prompt, friendly and professional. Penny Repairs replaced a door handle and hinge. Fair price and as originally quoted. Would recommend and use again.

Excellent service, came round and helped with a front door. Fixed it so fast they didn’t even charge, would use again when needed and highly recommend. Very knowledgeable.

Excellent and fast communication. Door repair was very professionally done. Everything was explained to me during the job.

We couldn't have asked for better service than we had from Penny Repairs. From prompt visit and free no obligation quote to completion of work, the levels of communication, politeness, timekeeping and quality of work were faultless. We had two double glazed units swapped out in our conservatory due to excessive misting and an alarming level of water creeping up the cavity between the glass panels. Brad and his colleague replaced these quickly and efficiently and subsequently returned to adjust the hinges on the patio doors and replace the bubble seals which had perished. Thanks again guys!

Great service from Michael and his family team. He was able to order and replace a window for me within 2 weeks, for my rental flat, as I had tenants due to move in. Kept in communication with me throughout, and did the job on time. Very pleased.

We had three blown windows replaced in our conservatory today. We are very happy with the prompt and professional service at a very competitive price.

Fabulous service right from my plea for help call! Polite, helpful and accommodating. Fairly urgent lock replacement needed and was completed within a few hours of calling. Competitively priced. Overall I’d highly recommend!

Excellent work at a reasonable price. Thank you.

Trustworthy company. Responded quickly to my enquiry. Thorough workmanship. Great service

Phoned and booked an appointment for them to come out and quote on two door repairs, one of which was an emergency, they never turned up so I rang them and re booked, they come and looked at the job and said they would quote me and I am still waiting two weeks later no response. Very poor service

Lovely job by Brad replacing window lock. Reasonable price and great communication from Vicki. Many thanks.

Had 2 lots of hinges changed today. Were given a competitive quote and they came out 2 days later to do the work. Now the windows work perfectly, like new. Great job, polite and professional, clean and tidy. Highly recommended

Fantastic service from Mike, great guy and knows his stuff, good professional friendly reliable service, great positive attitude always with a can do attitude, with 101% great products ,highly recommended if you need your doors locks and windows repaired replaced or serviced

Arrived on time when they said they would. Did a great job doing my windows and my front window which is now beautifully clean. I would recommend them to anybody. I know if they’ve got issues with their windows.

I used Penny Repairs initially to repair two UPVC doors which had damage to the lock mechanisms and the service was great. I went on to have the glass replaced in 11 windows, all of which were blown and almost opaque in some cases! Service was excellent, pricing was fair and they were very prompt. Appointments were flexible and they were on time everytime. Proper 5 star business - well recommended

Excellent service! I highly recommend, quick and on time, just brilliant! Thanks alot

Fantastic job Very quick to come out Excellent work Very reasonable price

Can’t fault this company. Was recommended to me as I had a few issues with my windows that were installed over 20 years ago by Anglian windows. A couple of my windows had gone very misty between the double glazing also 2 windows very hard to open and close and a couple of handles needed replacing also my fairly new french doors needed adjusting. Very reasonable quote, arrived when they said they would and all jobs completed in a couple of hours. Lovely guy. Very professional. I would certainly use again and definitely will recommend to my family and friends.

Great service. Incredibly helpful. Was able to do a job that other companies said that they couldn’t do. Would highly recommend this company.

What a wonderful company and the lads that came to us were unbelievable. They went well above and beyond and were so polite also. If only all tradespeople were like this !! Thank you

Just had PennyRepairs Mike Penny come to have a look at my bathroom window, got the window open and gave me great advice, very friendly and professional, will definitely use PennyRepairs for any future work going forward

Fantastic service today from Brad. Good customer service and was very polite and friendly, gave a quiet the week before and did the window this afternoon now finally we have a lovely opening kitchen window. Would highly recommend and use again.

Fantastic service from this company who replaced a huge pane of glass in a extra large patio door. Efficient and clean service Over the moon with the results.

Replaced hinges on bedroom window. Excellent job. Work carried out very efficiently. No mess. Very pleasant fitters. Highly recommended.

Great work by Brad this morning. Came out late last night (on the day of calling) diagnosed the problem then came back first thing to fix it. Excellent work great service

100% recommendation isn't high enough for how Penny Repairs fixed our window lock and problematic front door. Fantastic service, wouldn't go anywhere else and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Very good service

Excellent service and pride in their work. Will definitely use again.

Penny repairs have been absolutely brilliant! They have done work on my entire property, windows and doors. Realigning, maintaining, fixing and replacing many issues. Their work is the best quality and they always communicate details clearly. I trust their opinion on what works need doing, when I ask if something needs replacing, if it does not they are honest and have told me there is no need, and advise me of ways to maintain my windows myself. Very polite workers, who are efficient with their work and clean up after themselves. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Polite friendly service and a job well done from Brad and Riley. Thank you.

Thank you for your prompt, neat work in replacing our glass door! Will definitely contact you back for our windows. Thanks

Great service and installation of a new door barrel and key set. Delivered in a friendly efficient manner.Thank you

Couldn't be happier! I saw the van parked up a few houses down and asked if he could pop in to look at jammed window. Within 2 mins fixed! Wasn't any hassle - Thank you very much! (Sorry I didn't catch your name)

Mike changed the gearbox mechanism on my front door, And replaced the door handles and letterbox, Mike explained everything that he was doing, I was impressed with his knowledge and skills, And he only left when he was totally satisfied everything was working the way it should. Will use Penny Repair again and recommend them. Thanks

Excellent customer service from Mike and Vikki at Penny Repairs. We had a jammed lock mechanism on our patio doors, another company told us that the whole patio door needed replacing! Called Penny Repairs who said they could change the lock, on the day the repair was done, Mike told us that he didn't need to replace all the parts as quoted so the repair bill would be less than originally quoted for. Good old fashioned honest customer service from the team at Penny Repairs. Will definitely use again and recommend to others before they commit to the unnecessary expense of changing things when they can be fixed. Well done Penny Repairs.

Replacement glass in UPV units and door repair -Excellent service with good knowledge. Prompt response and reliable.

Lovely family business with excellent integrity and work standards. Very professional but also very entertaining listening to the banter between themI would highly recommend them without any hesitation.

Excellent service from start to finish. So happy with the work done and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Penny Repairs recently replaced the glass in my conservatory and mended my front door, and I couldn't be happier with their service. The team was professional, friendly, and reliable throughout the process. The quality of their work was exceptional. They completed the job on time and kept me well-informed. I highly recommend Penny Repairs and will definitely use their services again.

Really professional and streamlined service from start to finish. The quotation process was smooth and communication on point. Brad who fitted the unit was great, kept me informed throughout and left the job spotless. Would 100% use again (Replacement of large glass window unit that had cracked)

Wow! 5* rating! Highly recommend. We had issues with our door not locking and dodgy handle. Penny repairs were outstanding from booking us in quickly to be seen, arriving in plenty of time and amazing service. Our door was repaired professionally, quickly and efficiently. Also outstanding price for the work done. Brilliant service. Lovely guy too who was amazing with my little boy and allowed him to watch the whole thing too. 100% recommend- don’t go anywhere else. Thank you so much 😊

We had slide and tilt patio door which were advised could not be repaired by various locksmiths. Penny repairs are able to repair for us which is not what we expected. They also repaired hinges on a window which we believed would have to be replaced. Very happy customers. Excellent customer service

Would highly recommend using Penny Repairs. Run by a man who takes genuine pride in his work and who will do an absolutely stunning job for you. He mended a very misaligned patio door and replaced a window hinge that was well on its way out. Will use again without any hesitation.

Excellent service from the initial visit to advise and quote through to completion of the job. Friendly, efficient and thorough. Work was carried out to our complete satisfaction and would recommend without hesitation.

I am extremely pleased with the repair work done on my conservatory sliding door today. It's the first time I've used Penny Repairs and I can thoroughly recommend them for being prompt, fair and very professional.

I have used Penny Repairs a few times now and have always been really happy. Mike and Brad are both lovely, super helpful and explain everything well. They always do a great job and are perfectionists who take pride in their work, they are also very well priced and I like that they always look to repair rather than pushing you to replace. I will be using them again for future work I need to be done.

I dont have a before photo but I am so happy that I chose Mike to carry out my repair work on a misty kitchen window. Mike is knowledgeable, punctual and professional. Thanks Mike and team for a hassle free quotation and for the work that you done to a high standard. **update, Mike and crew have now done all my windows and handles and I can not rate them high enough. The guys came to fix my letterbox. They arrived on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. We now have a very much stronger letterbox and it is very high quality. I would definitely recommend Penny Repairs to anyone. They also fix windows which is good to know

Great quality work, good communication, good rates. Would highly recommend 😀

Needed some new hinges installed to make a window seal properly. Excellent job, completed quickly, very pleased with the result. Thank you so much!

Great service and very honest. We will definitely use again. Thank you

Good communication leading up the repair date. They were detailed and explained issues and also keen that I didn’t spend more money than I needed to. The Google reviews are as good as they say!

Excellent service, fast and efficient, know their stuff and upfront with what needs doing, fairly priced and easy to work with. Friendly team, and a local independent business so give them some support!

Guys turned up early to fix our downstairs window handle which had broken off. I think they spent more time playing with our dog than it took them to fit the new handle on. Prompt, friendly, efficient service. Thank you very much guys!

Prompt, professional and an excellent service. Would use again

Mike did a repair to our door lock and was so professional, quick and efficient and very friendly. Highly recommended

Recently had a garage conversion with a bay window. Building inspector says the window needed to be a fire escape hinge. Called a couple of window people including the guy who installed it who said wrong type of window for fire escape hinge. Called Mike who came out and replaced hinge within 20 minutes and should satisfy building inspector. Would recommend and use again

Fantastic job - I had two windows where the handles wouldn’t push down, one back door lock that kept catching & a patio door that wouldn’t lock. After reviewing the jobs, the windows were fixed without any additional materials, the back door adjusted & a couple of hinges swapped over, everything now working perfectly. I was kept informed throughout the process of what needed to happen, the guys were polite, helpful & very knowledgeable. Great job, would use again & would definitely recommend

The guy rarely answers his phone. Tells you he can help and to text him the deatails then you never hear from him again despite multiple follow-up attempts to call him. Waste of time.

Asked to fix leak on back door. They were on time and fixed the leak - very professional. Would definitely recommend them.

I cannot recommend Penny's Repairs enough. Professional, friendly and Brilliant workmanship. I needed a back door repairing and it works better thank it did before. I will definitely be using this services 5*

Quick and efficient service. Highly recommended .

Amazing job from Mike and Brad today fixed the rollers on my conservatory door that was making the door almost impossible for me to open!. I can now use 1 finger to open the door!. Both very friendly and I would highly recommend them. Great job. Thank you

Called penny repairs for a quote, cannot fault this company, Mike arrived early, very polite and knowledgeable. We asked about the work we had in mind. And didn't get the hard sell, but did get sound advice and information. Thank you for this and the honesty, I will defiantly recommend and if need call again in the future..

Friendly honest service. Would highly recommend.

Excellent work. We had a window that would jam -- they came and replaced the hinges and now it works perfectly. Very friendly, polite and efficient, and good with our adolescent dog! :-) Highly recommended.

I had 3 outside doors fixed/realigned. All now shut and lock perfectly again. Brilliant service, lots of knowledge and experience, and absolutely lovely to deal with.

Had my French doors and windows fixed by Mike and Brad. More than happy with the service I received. Both very professional, friendly and capable and they went over beyond their call of duty. I would highly recommend this company. Excellent service and workmanship.

The difference in the temperature once Mike and Brad had finished updating all of our windows and doors was quite shocking. We have been able to turn our heating down and actually benefit from the warmth now that all the drafts have been sorted out. We are very happy with their service and consider their work a very affordable investment.

Fixed a lot of our windows and doors, all of which are still opening smoothly! Found they could repair a couple of windows that they thought during the quote would need parts replacing so reduced the bill.

Very poor with communication. Have left messages but has not replied. I am still persisting as there are very few firms only doing repairs, most others just trying to sell you window replacements.

Arrived on time. Looked at what needed to be done and confirmed quote. Did the job quickly and with no fuss. I’ve already asked for a quote for something else. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with the service and knowledge provided would recommend. Replaced hinges on 3 windows and closed up gaps which had resulted in excess outside noise and draft

Amazing job, value for money, very knowledgeable and professional with excellent customer service skills!! I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family 5*

Mike repaired several windows and a door for us. Great workmanship, great communication and a great price. Highly recommend this company!

Wonderful company to deal with. Repair done efficiently and at a good cost.

Cindy Turner - highly recommend, great fast proffesional service, rectified a window lock for us, parts on board so no waiting to order parts. Really pleased will definitely use again

I phoned Mike this morning. He luckily was 2 minutes from my home and came immediately. He and his assistant repaired 2 of my patio doors that weren't locking properly all for free. He is the nicest of people, very efficient and courteous. I would thoroughly recommend him.

Top work carried out to fix some of my window hinges and door seal. Replaced some fogged glass for new on one of my windows. Genuine and honest guys. A pleasure to deal with.

Big thank you to Mike and his oppo (sorry, I didn’t get your name) for his visit to sort out my Mum’s rubbing back door. I had suggested it maybe worn hinges and on that basis Mike had quoted me for 3x replacement hinges. On arriving he deduced it wasn’t the hinges but the way the glass had been fitted in the door. It was a relatively simple job of replacing the packers that supported the glass and now the door opens and closes as it should do. Consequently the bill was considerable less than replacing the hinges! I can certainly recommend Mike for uPVC type repairs.

I've used Penny Repairs several times now and couldn't be happier with the service. The office are very friendly and responsive and Mike is brilliant - friendly, polite, completely reliable and great quality work.

Excellent Service, would highly recommend!

Mike came to replace 3 pieces of glass that has condensation in them today. Arrived on time, great service, clean and tidy, and cannot fault them! I initially contacted them in April, booked in for June, and I then had to cancel, but they were always professional and happy to keep to my schedule and wait until I was ready. No deposit required, they rely on goodwill and trust, and I would 100% go back!

Very pleased with the cat flap fitted to my double glazed patio door. Friendly, efficient and a good price. Would highly recommend.

Work done on the call-out day just a week after called them back as the shop door had same problem kept on calling them only excuses that they are busy I was told the date no one turns up I gave up in end and called some one else stay away waste of time

Had two windows fixed by Mike and what a brilliant service - I was expecting a quote only today but Mike had the time to fix them there and then and did. I had a quote elsewhere some months ago and was quoted the same price for one window that Mike charged for two. Highly recommend.

Great service arrived early job done very happy many thanks

Excellent service, very pleased would not hesitate to recommend

What a great job done by Mike at a very reasonable price a thoroughly professional job done by a lovely friendly guy many thanks

Very professional service. Honest and trustworthy. Would highly recommend to anyone needing window repairs.

Just had two double glazing units that had misted up replaced. Great service, on time, great price. Now I have nice clear windows. Will definitely use again.

Just wanted to thank Mike, Brad and Riley for the amazing job they have done. The girls in the office are great. I had pretty much every window blown and rather the getting new double glazing the guys have replaced every glass panel. Also replaced broken handles, 2 doors that did not close properly and the sliding door. They are honest hardworking and very professional and the price is extremely reasonable. Some pics for you to see the difference. Thank you again.

I can’t praise or highly recommend this company enough! I had a window lock that had rusted solid and feared I’d need a new window. Mike was able to replace the faulty parts for a very competitive price, and the window works perfectly again. Mike is friendly, polite, very professional, a tidy worker and does an excellent job – I couldn’t thank him enough. Don’t get talked into new doors and windows by a salesperson when they can still be repaired by an honest, skilled local tradesman – saving you money and less waste going to landfill

Mike repaired two windows - one with a broken lock, one needing new hinges - for me. The communication with Penny Repairs was great from start to finish so I always knew exactly what to expect and when. Mike did a really tidy job and explained what had gone wrong and how. Great job, totally recommend :)

Mike came to fix my broken stable doors as well as the back door. Very professional, reliable service and reasonable price. Can't praise him enough. Will be calling Penny Repairs again very soon (my letter box is knocking 😂 and those brass door handles 🫣 ).

Very efficient service. Quick to respond, came out and gave competitive quote on day and time agreed. Mike came and repaired a window lock and replaced glass on fanlight window on the day and time agreed, very pleasant to deal with and tidy. Very pleased with the results. I Would highly recommend Mike and his team and would definitely use them again.

What a great outfit, local business, great service, competitive pricing. When some of our double glazing panes failed. They came out, measured and quoted us in a short time. Took the time to discuss options and shared useful info and advice to help us decide and then turned up on the scheduled date and completed the repairs brilliantly AND checked in to make sure we were happy with everything before they left. Highly recommended.

We had our Bi-Fold door repaired as the door had dropped.. also our composite front door was not hard to shut and this was repaid too. Contact via E mail and was very easy, came out to look and gave quote and agreed a time to complete work.. great communication and very pleased with the work and price .

Brilliant service from Mike (and Vicki behind the scenes!) who came round to replace some window hinges that had failed. Top quality job, would not hesitate to use Mike again for our windows in the future and would definitely recommend him to others.

Amazing service, great work and genuinely honest company. Highly recommend.

Mike came round and helped me put a catflap into my bathroom window!! Super lovely man who went above and beyond to make sure the solution was the right one for me, not just interested about taking my money! Would reccomend to anyone!!! Thank you Mike!
