I would highly recommend Surelock Homes of Portsmouth to anyone needing a locksmith. Absolutely fantastic service, arrived within an hour of me calling. It wasn’t a straightforward issue. The door was locked shut as mechanism was broken. Took a lot of patience & determination but managed to open the door, fixed the mechanism & fitted a new lock. I was more than pleasantly surprised to hear told it was only just under £200. I had already been quoted between £500 & £800 but a locksmith I called out earlier.
Arrived within 30 minutes, very friendly and efficient service. Would definitely recommend!
We called Surelock Homes in an emergency on Saturday evening as we could not open our front door, the key was just spinning in the lock. After one phone call, a friendly and polite gentleman was with us in around 10 minutes and a replacement lock was fitted not long after. We were worried we wouldn't be able to get this sorted because it was the weekend so we were very impressed as the speed of service and the quality of the workmanship. Pricing and the work required was explained in simple terms and a demonstration was provided of the new lock and it's safety features which was really helpful. It's unusual these days to receive such brilliant service so we would thoroughly recommend to anybody in similar bother that we found ourselves in, or if you are in need of general locksmith services. Thank you for your help, keep up the great work!
Surelock Homes Locksmith attended to repair a lock and provided an excellent service. The locksmith was able to do the job the same day and he arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and explained it. He replaced a part and afterwards made sure the door worked properly from inside and outside. He cleared up and swept the floor afterwards. He was very efficient and was also polite and friendly. I thought the cost of the repair was reasonable. I will definitely use Surelock if I need to in future and would highly recommend them.
Excellent service, prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Work completed to a great standard. Would recommend.
Responsive, knowledgeable, and wouldn't recommend anyone else! Thanks for saving the day, 2 days in a row!
Called concerned about my front door, they were out within the hour and had sorted the issue for us. Would use again happily.
Excellent service. Came out at a time convenient to me, did a first class job, tidied up after the job and didn't overcharge. Would highly recommend
Great service. Had an emergency at a rental property and all was sorted within half an hour.
Have used them on several occasions. They have always been reliable and provide an excellent service. It wasn’t an emergency this time so was able to book an appointment for a few days later. The locksmith arrived on time and was able to sort out the problem without any fuss. Very happy with the service so would recommend them.
Lovely quick response, punctual for the job and efficient change of lock in the Cosham area. PO6. Thank you so much!

We used surelock at work for an urgent access need and they attended quickly and gained access very efficiently. Easy to deal with and the locksmith who turned up was polite and speedy. We would definately call on their services again if the need arises. Thank you
Helpful, sound advice,
Cannot recommend highly enough. They are quick to respond, very friendly and very professional. Just recently, I approached them with a query about emergency access locks for my nan's house. They met me at her house to discuss different options and when they came back to do the work, they did a brilliant job. The work was carried out to a high standard and everywhere was left clean and tidy. I'd always contact this company for any locksmith needs 😊
I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to your company and the engineer/locksmith who came to replace the barrel on my front door. LockSmith arrived quickly after I’d been locked out all night. They were friendly, tried the simple fixes first, and got me back inside fast. Great, efficient service!
Fantastic very efficient and friendly service will definitely use again
Had a gent come over to fix the latch I suppose is what's it called and he was such a nice gentleman! He was so so lovely had such a nice chat with him, communication was on point! I asked him if he could kindly let me know when he would be on his way as I was at my mum's having lunch and he did and had a follow up message asking if everything was sorted too! Not to mention I mentioned our front door being a bit of a struggle to unlock and he offered to look at it and sorted it for me so quickly turns out the hinged just needed tightening! We are currently renting but as soon as we are in our new house for anything this type of work I will definitely be calling them !
Quick service, nice staff, they were out within two hours of calling which was super helpful, price was fair for an emergency call out as well. Highly recommend 🙂
Round within 40 minutes of me calling (not emergency call out either). Friendly, helpful and efficient. Thoroughly recommend!
From when I called up in a panic to fill resolution it was a max of 30 mins. Never been happier to have over payment as I was yesterday. Thanks Surelock!

Efficient and friendly service
Turned out to be a simple job, but Surelock came round and corrected the problem quickly.
I called for a non-emergency lock change. It was completed within 3 hours on the same day at a time that suited me. Very knowledgeable and kept me in the look whilst changing the lock. Would definitely recommend!
Superb. I have lost my house keys...I don't know if they are somewhere in the house of if I left them in the front door and now they got taken. Either way I no longer felt safe knowing that my key was unaccounted for. Called up and booked a time for the lock to be replaced same day. Arrived bang on time, work was really quick, very nice and professional and friendly, had exactly what we needed. Was also able to replace our patio door lock which though not broken, the key was bent and couldn't get a new one cut... so was only time before that broke. Couldn't ask for more. And it's great to know that the place is secure Thank you!

Posting a review on behalf of my mother Annette. Used twice, excellent service, prompt and friendly, highly recommend!
Excellent, fast, and professional service. We found ourselves in a really difficult situation after our previous tenants left without returning the keys, leaving the property unsecured and inaccessible. The locksmith arrived within an hour of our call, was extremely professional and helpful, and managed to gain access despite the challenging circumstances. Not only did they get us into the property quickly and safely, but they also alerted us to the shocking state the flat had been left in, which allowed us to take immediate action. We are so grateful for their prompt response, skill, and professionalism. Highly recommended. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I called Paul on behalf of my 94year old neighbour who had locked herself out. He was on a job but said he would make it his next call. Sure enough he arrived about 20mins later and had her back in the house in five minutes. A big five stars from myself and a distressed old lady 👍

Brilliant, man who fitted was very nice and quick!
Reliable, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. Great communication and a huge help in a stressful situation. Highly recommended
We called out a few weeks back after our front door key got stuck in the front door on a Friday afternoon. We didn't have a clue what to do & took to google to try & find help. Other more well known locksmiths in the area that we tried calling were really dismissive & wanted us to wait until Monday but Surelocks were super responsive & got to us within 20 minutes! Really reasonably priced & fixed our front door within 20 minutes! Hoping we don't have a need to call you back out but Surelocks would definitely be our go to & would recommend to family & friends.
Would 100% recommend. Arrived 10 minutes after my phone call and a broken lock replaced and sorted within half an hour. Such a good price for the weekend too. Thanks guys!!

Dan was great. Very courteous, professional and thorough. Many thanks.
I rang surelock Homes at 2100 hours for advice and an engineer , I was talked through exactly what I needed to do to make my property safe and at the agreed time the following day an engineer fixed the defect and repaired existing faults as well I like the fact it’s a personal service not just another job to these lads I can’t recommend them enough
Barrell lock broke. 30 min to arrive (quoted upto an hour) and 15 min, I was in, new lock and even aligned rather than make do with previous job done by a catpenter
Excellent service. Couldn't get in my house on a Sunday as the mechanism in the door failed. They arrived promptly after my call, explained exactly what the issue was and took the time to test whether it was something that needed a fix or was a one-off, which I really appreciated. In the end I needed a new part for the door, but I was grateful that they took the time to properly inspect the door and test it. Considering it was a Sunday emergency call out, the cost was very reasonable and I'd have no doubt calling these guys out again if I ever needed anything.

The lock on my patio doors suddenly broke late last Sunday evening. To have someone come out 15 minutes later was amazing. Obviously no one wants to be paying to have a locking mechanism replaced, but the whole issue was resolved incredibly quickly leaving me reassured that my home was safe. I 100% recommend this company.
We called early in the morning as our door was catching and getting worse. I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them.

When you live many miles away from a vulnerable relative who has locked themselves out, having an understanding locksmith who tells you honestly when they’ll get there, and does, who calms your relative and ensures they’re inside and safe and lets you know, is service to be valued. Sometimes it’s not just about the technical stuff that matters.
Sunday morning call out for front door lock. Excellent service from this company. We rang, friendly engineer had it all sorted within the hour! Fair price. Used them before years back at our old house, always carry their card in case of emergency! Thanks.
Super quick to arrive, issue resolved in just a few minutes. Dan was polite and efficient, a definite recommendation!
When I rang and explained my key is stuck in the front door lock, it was explained that when you try to open the front door from outside with a key inserted from the inside, there is a 50% chance of cylinder failure. This was what happened. Dan came and within 10 minutes, he changed to a new lock for £69+VAT. Everything was done very professionally. Thank you.

While getting ready to leave work on a Saturday, I realised I left my keys at home… so in a panic I quickly googled “locksmith near me”, these guys were my first choice even though they were 4th down on my search list as they were actually open (until 10pm, the others were “closing soon”). Arranged to meet at mine and the guy that arrived was on time & super friendly, I showed him to my door and I reckon he got it open quicker than I normally would with my key… unbelievably fast. The price was pretty reasonable considering how much aggro & cost it would of taken to kick the door down & repair/replace Overall, extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend them.

Needed the services of Surelock to replace a French double glazed door lock. They were able to accommodate a call out within a couple hours of asking. Updated for July 2021 below Feb 2021 Surelock was a great services I had a back door that wasn't locking and they came out and fixed the next day. Very quick and explained what the issue was, what they had done and got me to test to make sure I was happy. All in a covid secure manner as well. Will be using again as they cover a wide area of Hampshire and Sussex. July 2021 Moved into a new house and got all the locks changed as a matter of urgency. Dan came out and explained everything in detail to me, what locks he would use and prices. He then went about changing the barrels and locks really quickly, skittle bit of wood work required on the side door to the garage but 4 barrels and a dead lock changed within an hour. Once again I would recommend Surelock to anyone who needs. Locksmith in the Hampshire area. Prices were good value for money as you get what you pay for and the security of your home is important so spend well on the things that matter.
Great service, good job well executed, great customer service. Highly recommended :)

The guys were able to get out to me at 8am the next morning! They were on time which was great as I had to go to work straight after, very professional and efficient, didn't waste any time and got stuck straight in! The man was really friendly and polite, I was worried I would need to nip to the cash point but was even better as could pay by card there and then! Thank you!

Had my bag stolen from the beach at Lee on the Solent whilst swimming on Sunday 31st May 2020. (Lesson learned.) In it was my keys and other stuff. No phone so relative called Surelock Homes Locksmith. Aaron arrived very quickly. He was polite and professional and easy to chat to and explained what he was doing. He eventually gained entrance without damage to the lock which was great. The job was done in well under an hour. The cost was good value and Aaron gave some free advice. I would certainly recommend Aaron and the Company. Thanks. Phil C.
Highly recommend 100%
Excellent friendly service. Out of 3 local locksmiths this was the only company to reply. Excellent value for money. 3x locks replaced on 3 separate doors. All the best. Marcus

I would certainly recommend this locksmith. I called late morning and a locksmith was with me within a couple of hours. The locksmith was very professional and personable . He also was very good at observing and following the social distances and hygiene protocol that are currently in place. Good value too. Marian
Great response and quality service. Would definitely use again.
Brilliant service from start to finish. Professional and polite. No hidden costs involved and if extra work was needed Dan talked us through it 👍
I called at 10. 15am on Sunday morning because i couldn't gain access to the front door due to the handle coming away from the door and the key wouldn't fit in the lock. Dan was at the house by 11.30am, assessed the problem, made a temporary fix to the door to make it usable until he returned on Tuesday with the new handles. Everything was sorted without any worries or hassle. And considering it was a Sunday the price was very reasonable. Great service and all done without any problems.
Good communication over the phone. Punctual. Did a good job, quickly with no fuss. Given the strange times we're living in all precautions were made with social distancing, gloves and payment by card. Highly recommended.
I called them yesterday as my old garage door locking mechanism decided to break, leaving us without access to the car. Nightmare. I needed the car to drive my wife to work. She is an NHS hospital doctor. I called them at a time when, quite understandably some other locksmith services were closed. I got advice from Paul, who sent Aaron because he had cable wire in the van. He came, carefully and thoughtfully unlocked the garage and then set about replacing the wires. He was professional, patient, and efficient and I was very grateful. I don't think other locksmiths would have sorted out an old garage door as well. Locksmith services are usually one off emergency contacts. So if you are looking at this review, you might be quite stressed. And also stressed about being ripped off. I would recommend the Surelock services. In all the circumstances, I thought their price was fair and reasonable and they seem to care about their reputation. Highly recommended.
Very good. He was wearing gloves and kept a distance back. Was very quick, was all done before my girlfriend got back from her run! Would recommend both based on service, and that we both had a good chuckle at the pun "Surelock Homes".
Absolutely amazing and affordable service! Changed my lock within 10 mins! Very professional guys as well! Would 10000% recommend!
Called them and they arrived within ten minutes. Highly skilled and professional, was in within minutes and no damage. Would recommend!
Terrific service all round. Dan fixed the issue very quickly, and the price was very reasonable. Can not recommend enough! Thanks Dan, amazing work.
Excellent service, called at lunchtime as lock on garage door was broken, came at time to suit me and door opened and new lock fitted within 30 mins of arriving. Friendly, efficient and a very good price. Would definitely recommend and use again.
Amazing service rang at 16:52 on a Monday and Engineer was with us by 17:40! Door lock was changed and window lock sorted on same visit. Can’t recommend highly enough.
I managed to lock myself out and these guys provided a timely, expert and quick service. I would use them as reference from now on.
Call Surelock after a recommendation online when our back door broke. Locksmith arrived earlier than we expected and carried out a professional job and cleaned up after himself as well. Would definately recommend
Speedy call out. Very professional, polite and friendly engineer. Problem quickly sorted. Recommended.
Really helpful and efficient service. Arrived within timeframe given and completed job quickly. Would definitely reccomend.

I contacted Paul at Surelock and he was at my property within 30 minutes problem sorted and very professional service.
Amazing service, so quickly, friendly, choices given, clear communication and cleans up afterwards
I made a call to have a door looked at, and Paul was with me within 20 minutes. He worked quickly and very efficiently. His initial diagnosis was spot on, and he carried a replacement part in his van. He explained all the charges, which were very reasonable. Overall, I would t hesitate to recommend the company. If I get stuck again, I will definitely be using Surelock again.
After accidentally locking myself out while I was making Sunday dinner, I called Surelock Holmes from a neighbours phone and they were at my home within 10/15 mins which was an excellent response time. The locksmith was very professional and friendly and gained access quicky. I would definately rate 5* and recommend.
Thanks for your prompt service after I discovered a break in at my mother's house yesterday. Would recommend you to others who find themselves in this unfortunate situation.
We found ourselves locked out of our home 30 minutes before a 30th birthday meal. We called Paul at Surelock and he had someone out to us within 15 minutes. Within 20 minutes we were back in our property and able to make the meal on time ! Cant reccomend this company enough, they made what could have been a daunting situation very calm. Thanks again guys. Mark
My problem was solved really quick. Thank you for your great service.
Hi just wanted to let every one nw got quote on Monday morning of sure lock that afternoon job was being done perfect for timing no faults and not to forget fantastic job done would really recommend
Dan was great. Quick, clean job and a decent competitive price. Would definitely recommend.
Dan could not have been better carrying out this unusual job, he was not prepared to be defeated by the difficulties encountered in removing the jammed high security wheel lock on my caravan and used a variety of power tools, common-sense and ingenuity to achieve the desired result. Thoroughly courteous at all times, despite the complexity of the task, I could not recommend this totally professional company more highly.
Very quick and efficent but also extremely friendly staff! Great service for the price
Comes out at all times, really reasonably priced, quality work, there is no one else I'd trust if I ever need a locksmith again, simply the best out there.
Very prompt service. Needed an emergency set of locks fitting, locksmith was there on time and finished the job quickly and professionally. Would definitely recommend.
I can't rate the service by Dan highly enough. He was excellent: punctual, polite and patient. Superb and will recommend to friends in the area.
Called out to an elderly neighbour of mine, turned up within 25 minutes of the initial phone call. Chap was very fast, helpful, polite and professional. Would 100% recommend.
Excellent service. I had a problem with a faulty lock. They let me in, checked the door and it’s hinges, oiled the lock and tested it several times to make sure there was no issues. Fantastic work ethic, they went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Called them out because we had locked ourselves of our house. Arrived very quickly and the service was fantastic. The gentleman was very polite and efficient, definitely wouldn’t hesitate in calling them again if we ever need it! - Amy
The locksmith was very impressive and was able to get me back inside fairly fast! Thank you very much!
Great service. Professional and thorough.
Great service! Fast, friendly, professional. If you need your locks changed I recommend this company.
We’ve used these guys twice. Once because we were locked out and once to change a lock for us. Both times they came really quickly. The guys were really nice. They also got the job done well and efficiently. I would highly recommend them.
Excellent service. Arrived promptly after I locked myself out. The locksmith Dan couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Would definately recommend and use again if I ever needed to.
Fast response. Aaron came out after we got stuck in the house. He was friendly professional and efficient. Would definitely recommend. Thank you
1st class service ,quick, efficient and courtious staff.5 star.
From the very first communication with this company you can understand why it has so many 5* reviews. I spoke to Paul on live chat quite late in the evening and explained my situation, he asked simple questions which put me at ease to understand what service I needed, I got a response back from the live chat within seconds, and within a few minutes of talking I had an appointment arranged for first thing the next day. The out of hours service was brilliant and was so convenient. Dan, who was doing the work, called me before he arrived and told me how long he would be, he turnt up exactly on time, and is an absolute credit to the company. He was friendly, polite and engaged in conversation whilst also wanting to get the works done as quickly and efficiently as possible. He didn’t try to upsell me, and due to me needing less work, took money off the final price, which just showed the integrity of the company and how genuine they are. The price of the works was also extremely good value for money, when speaking with family and friends, they were impressed with the price I quoted. I would truly recommend this company to anyone. A brilliant team who work hard to make sure the job is done right and you are given the best service, for the best price.
Fast and helpful service. Would use again.

Had to call these guys out in haste yesterday. They were very understanding of the situation. As was on the way to the hospital with my dad who was due to have a minor op. They really worked around the times that suited and worked for us. The service was straightforward and professional. And generally just polite and nice people.
Great quick service. Fixed a faulty lock in some UPVC patio doors. Phoned them up and in less than an hour they came around, had the parts and fixed it.
Dan fitted a new lock for me yesterday and did a great job. This is a really nice company to work with and they were very flexible with timings for me.
Arrived on time for a replacement job and did a very good job. Even cleared up the wood shavings afterwards. All at a fair price. Recommended.
I highly recommend this service. The locksmith on call was prompt, friendly, and was able to fix a tricky lock on the front door of the flat that was installed incorrectly before we bought the property. He also adjusted the metal plate on the door frame so the door doesn't stick as before. In my opinion he went the extra mile for a reasonable price and definitely earned a 5-star rating. We're keeping Surelock's card on file should we need a locksmith in the future.
A quick, reliable and cost effective service - Thank you

Emailed and within a couple of hours had an appointment booked for the same day. Dan did a really good job for what I thought would be a straightforward lock change. He went above and beyond to adjust the doors and made some other changes in order for both conservatory doors to shut and lock properly.
Great service. Locksmith arrived within an hour of calling the office. The lock was quickly replaced and functioning again in no time at all. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Would highly recommend.

I’ve used SureLock Homes twice now st the same property and they have been brilliant both times. Very quick to arrive, nice bloke, quick service. Also, unlike another company I’ve used at this address, they worked from the bottom up and tried every avenue to gain access, rather than jump straight to the most expensive option like other firms (another firm charged me to replace the whole lock at this property and didn’t even try to pick it). 10/10 would recommend this honest company.
Thanks for great service were with us within 15 minutes. Professional and very reasonably priced.
