Very Please With Service

Great service as usual

I was expecting the heating system to be serviced, not just the boiler. I misunderstood what I paid for. I assumed that the two nice chaps done a proper job cause I couldn't see what they were actually doing.

Gascare have been a great help to us over the last two years. Unfortunately following a home renovation we had continuous problems with our boiler and heating system with us having to call the initial installer out a number of times in the year after works were completed. In the end we called Gascare to come and have a look after the same thing kept happening. Turned out the initial installer had not done this correctly. And following the situation being rectified by Gascare and the great team over there I am happy to report we have had no isssues since and currently are on the yearly service with Gascare. Would highly recommended them for any future works. Shame we didn’t know about them to start with.

Steer well clear.! GasCare had serviced my boiler since 2016, no problems..This year all change. I experienced a problem with the room thermostat and the heating coming on as it pleased..Engineer had done a service less than 2 weeks prior..Thought it would be an easy fix.? Engineer came back, he said it was a problem with the room thermostat, he said the batteries were a little flat..He replaced them and charged me 80 quid for the pleasure..Fuming I contacted the office who kindly informed me that its purely a call-out charge and not 80 quid for 2x AA batteries..Since the engineer serviced the appliance the problem has got worse with a fault-code now appearing on the display..Calling the office once again to see if they could rectify the situation they kindly informed me yes they could....For 88 quid an hour then they happily would..!! Sheer cheek of it..! You'll get nowhere with the office staff, I said I would more than likely take my business elsewhere from now on..They weren't even bothered, just an "oh, shall we take you off our list and not phone you with a reminder in the future..?" And that's about it. They relieved me of nearly 200 quid for what.? A bad servicing and 2 AA batteries..They're alright Jack, because they've got my money..Steer clear folks, please, you have been warned...

What a breath of fresh air from top to bottom, Gascare are helpful and proactive, the office guys are top draw and the engineers and helpful and knowledgeable, I highly recommend. Great service

Back in 2017, our old boiler died. We chose Gascare to supply and install a new Worcester combi-boiler. When their guy turned up to check dimensions, we asked him whether he would recommend a water filter, as we had one in our previous house. His reply was no, this is not needed. Earlier in February this year, and after the boiler had been serviced every year by Gascare since 2017, it stopped delivering hot water. We called Gascare; and they identified a fault with the boiler and told us we should call Worcester in, which we did. The Worcester guy came and took the boiler apart. Both heat exchangers were blocked by debris from the hot water circuit and had to be replaced. HE told us that really a water filter should have been installed in 2017. Luckily for us, this was covered under Worcester's warranty - but only because it was their first visit with us. The Worcester technician also found out that the Gascare installed exhaust was less than 300 mm from the roof fascias, which is not legal, and therefore had to condemn the boiler. At that point, we called Gascare back. They sent a technician who offered to seal the fascias with silicon sealant (a 10 min job). We requested that since the damage to the boiler was a direct consequence of their poor recommendation from the installation, they should install the filter and perform a flush at their own cost. Their reply was a quote for £740, which corresponds to a £60 discount on the real value of £800. Needless to say we were not happy with that offer, but they refused to do anything else. It is shocking to see this sort of practice. As customers with very little knowledge of such systems, we trust the supplier's expertise, and then they don't accept the consequences of their actions when this turns out to be wrong. This sort of behavious drives everyone's prices up because for some reason they wouldn't recommend the installation of an item we would have paid for. We will not deal with Gascare anymore, and recommend everyone else to stay away as well.

Definitely a 5 star review. Engineer was very punctual and efficient. The previous company that I used told me a new boiler was needed so I tried Gascare for a second opinion. The gascare fitter inspected the boiler and repaired it straight away. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Rates are extortionate. Engineer tried to wangle any extra time he could to get over half an hour, meticulously filling in paperwork and telling me about other things that could go wrong. Charged £123 for 35mins to diagnose a fault I told them I knew I had (sparks) along with make and model of boiler and everything else they needed to know prior to visit. Didn’t bring the part so then wanted double that to come back and fix it another day. I said as I’m effectively paying for the hour please could you re pressurise the expansion vessel to be told “do you realise I would have to drain the boiler I cannot do that in 25minutes. It can only be booked with a full service” it was a complete joke. Got a plumber who’s not charging more than a barrister - job fixed and more for £90. Would never get them back or recommend Edit to add - customer you have mentioned is not me you must do it to a lot of customers. Review is completely genuine and honest

We had a new hob fitted by Gascare. The engineer, Shane, was efficient and friendly. He did a speedy, clean and careful job - would thoroughly recommend the company.

Really pleased with the service. Took Covid guidelines seriously. We recently moved in and he was able to provide some very helpful info on the boiler settings giving us reassurance.

Gascare replaced my boiler last year. The team were easy to get hold of, were very helpful, and booked the work to be done within a short time scale. I have used Gascare to service my boiler prior to this boiler replacement and have continued to use them after for my annual service. I highly recommend them.

I had Gascare install a new boiler when we moved into our home 10 years ago and I am very happy with the work they did. We always get our yearly service with them and they have always been friendly and polite and very good prices . Think they now service and maintain boilers for most of my family members now! Would highly recommend them to others to use.

This is the second time i have use gascare the fist time was 15 years ago.I have very good service from them,came to service my boiler when they said they would. I have now had a new boiler fitted,the fitter (sorry i can remember your name) was here on time and did an incredible job you are the best. very quick from quote to installing thank you .

Had boiler serviced today, called to inform when arriving, was very polite and did a very thorough boiler service. Could not fault service

Very disappointed to receive a service reminder from gas care , as they are adding insult to injury. Last year their engineer came out to service my boiler and promptly condemned it, and suggested that i have gas care fit a new boiler!!!! They still charged me for the privilege of the engineer doing practically nothing. Booked a service with the manufacturer's engineers, although it cost twice as much, and they completely serviced and replaced worn service items, and gave the boiler a clean bill of health, the engineer commented that it was in much better condition than others he had serviced of the same make and model, and expected it to continue giving me good service.

Used gascare because of good ckeck a trade rating and found them to be excellent to deal with, the engineer was friendly and did an excellent job and costs were very reasonable. Can't praise them enough.

Although towards the end there were some slight complications, Gas Care's customer service was fantastic and manage to get everything sorted asap. They not only responded to a timely manner, the work that was done was superb and they replaced my boiler within a matter of days. A* job
