Payments questions

Where does the money Tradehand collects go?

Straight into your own connected Stripe account. Tradehand never holds the money, and payouts can land as often as daily.

Can I take a deposit before starting?

Yes. Ask for a deposit to book the job, then collect the balance on completion. You decide the terms per job.

How do supplier costs get onto a job?

Take a photo of the receipt and Tradehand logs the amount against the job.

What does Tradehand cost?

Free includes the manual tools and the Assistant with £1 of usage a month: 5% of each payment Tradehand takes, card fees included. Paid plans from £19 a month, billed yearly. They add automation and more usage. Basic payment fees on your own jobs: From 1.25% + 20p, deducted automatically when the customer pays. Grow and Advanced have lower Tradehand payment fees.

Do my customers pay a surcharge?

No. The customer pays the price on the quote, nothing added on top.
